Tis the season to believe. Without hope and a belief that there will be a miraculous better day, we are all doomed. He has risen and will return in all his power and glory. Please let this song from these two incredibly talented songbirds inspire you to believe in miracles and that the best is yet to come. May God bless Sundance and the fantastic community here at the treehouse.
One of my absolute favorites! I found it too and have kept it on my u tube page 4 many years, thanks for posting. Love to know where it was filmed. Merry Christmas to all at this wonderful treehouse. Don’t 4get to look UP. Many Blessings 🙏❤️
Jussi Björling had one of the greatest voices on the planet: a Swedish opera singer trained in methods of breathing and projection from the 19th-century, like others of his generation, he gave great performances in New York City at the Metropolitan Opera in the 1930’s and 1940’s. His specialty was Italian and French repertory.
Those methods faded because of the invention of the microphone, to the detriment of future generations.
Let’s just say that for 5 or 6 decades, very, very few singers were even close to the level of the great ones like Fyodor Chaliapin, Enrico Caruso, Maria Callas, Kirsten Flagstad, and others born c. 1900.
Luciano Pavarotti, Jess Thomas, and Hildegard Behrens came close.
And no, sorry, Taylor Swift, even with $1 Billion dollars, cannot sing one note correctly.
Merry Christmas! Thank you for sharing the information regarding Jussi Bjorling!

Litle Drummer Boy is a favorite. Simple, traditional and not modernized.
The promise of new life, renewed Hope and a new way of loving, and in living and manifesting His Presence in our lives at all times.
This Christmas, may the Good Lord blesses every one, and keep us all. May He make His face to shine upon every one and be gracious to all.
May the Lord lift up His countenance upon every one and give us all peace, both now, and for the years to come
Numbers 6:24-26
Merry Christmas every one.

Watch this video to see a miracle. NYC is the most Satanic city on Earth yet this happened in Times square. Something truly wonderful is happening!!! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the bat.
This year, for the first time, all 27 billboards of Times Square went dark in NYC, and then lit up with the story of the Birth of Christ
Good to see each of you on this Christmas Eve. Rhema Marvanne a is powerhouse singer of high order. This is my most favorite Christmas song of all time. I should like to listen to some of your most favorite songs too!
Make sure to hold on to the very end. She carefully grabs her breath, and somehow has the strength to sustain the last notes in a manner that is mind boggling.

Growing up, we had no TV, just radio. It was 1962 …my Dad was a janitor at the local elementary school and also the town’s civil defense coordinator…he got to drive the big army truck. He was a WWII army vet who survived The Battle of The Bulge. At Christmas, he brought home a record player from the school and a record title “The Littlest Angel”. I listened to that record over and over. He died the following Sept., so I never was able to repeat that experience of listening to that wonderful story.
I miss my Dad every day…I was 9 years old when he passed, but am grateful for those memories I do have of him.
You reminded me a of another song that reminds of our family’s 50s Christmases in San Francisco–
Money was always tight since my father had died in in 52 when I was 3. We did alright and don’t ever think we thought we were that bad off. I remember this tinfoil star that someone in the family had made that was brought out every year, even when our tree was just a piece of driftwood found on the beach.
One year a few years I head this song and thought of that old tinfoil star….
Seems that Christmas brings out some of our favorite and best memories…
Merry CHRISTmas and God Bless you and your Linda

My parents always enjoyed classical singers and children’s choirs of Christmas carols. In their memory, this is one of their favorites.

The season is full of amazing lyrics. Our music minister asked us at our candlelight service tonight to actually contemplate the words rather than rote singing of old hymns. Fantastic experience.
From a lyrics perspective, Heirlooms by Amy Grant is an amazing Christmas song about family and Christ.
