An interesting poll out of New Hampshire [UML Poll Here] [Topline pdf Here] shows something perhaps many expected.
President Donald Trump still dominates the field with 52% and leads in every demographic. Nikki Haley comes in second with 22%, and Ron DeSantis third with 10%. However, if you dig into the demographics of the respondents, what you discover is that Nikki Haley has gained her support from Ron DeSantis’ primary support base.

Previously DeSantis’ main support base was from wealthy, older, white males. DeSantis has now lost this base to Nikki Haley, as her demographic support shows the rich, older, white males, what you might call the country club circuit, have dumped the Florida Governor in favor of the former UN Ambassador.
The rich, older, white males now support Nikki Haley over Ron DeSantis. This explains why Haley’s gains are all DeSantis losses.
Additionally, 27% of the DeSantis support is locked in (73% willing to change), while 47% of the Nikki Haley supporters are firm for her (53% could change mind). Not only has Nikki Haley taken DeSantis’ base of support, but she has also locked in most of that stolen base.
While neither Haley or DeSantis stands a chance at a New Hampshire victory, it’s interesting how the dynamic has rolled out.
On the Trump support, 79% of the respondents have locked in for President Trump. Over 86% of those are New Hampshire women, and when it comes to income distribution, President Trump holds 93% firm votes from those making under $50k/yr. The MAGA base is unflinching.
The University of Massachusetts Lowell Poll is very strong for President Donald Trump.

Haley, and Ramaswamy, should not even be on the ballot since neither meet the requirements in the Constitution. Although born in the USA, their parents were still subject to foreign jurisdiction at those times, so they aren’t eligible. That’s not politics or ideology or any other preference or belief. It’s the supreme law of the land. The 14th Amendment does nothing to change that. Why are ineligible people still on the ballot? Huh. I’m a white male over age 45, earning around $100k. I’m apparently in the minority among my cohort. Then again, most of my colleagues are the kind of people who went straight from high school into college, then straight from college into their field. No experience with anything else in life. The people I know who have been around and maybe worked in some other fields are also very much MAGA people (men and women both).
In short, I think that as you move up the financial strata, people feel compelled to parrot whatever the social infrastructure at that level demands you to say, regardless of what happens when it’s time to vote. I’m sure my career would be over if the power players in my field knew that I support Trump, because they’re all busy pushing their DEI globalism nonsense.

This poll further highlights the growing strength Trump has with younger voters also. He does fairly well with voters 50+, but the Establishment/neocon message of Haley, Christie, DeSantis resonates more with older voters than those in the 18-45 range. Trump dominates at 64% with voters 18-44, while he has 48% with voters 45+. NH does seem to have a fairly significant number of Establishment loving Republicans overall anyway, and obviously their Governor despises Trump.
This trend is showing up in GE polls as well. Biden support among young people is collapsing. Turns out some younger voters are realizing maybe mean tweets are far better than global wars, the doomsday clock ticking closer to midnight, and not being able to afford buying their first home.
Overall it seems the main support DeSantis has now is basically the Cruz faction from 2016. Most of the paid influencer crowd on social media are former Cruz crew people who despised Trump and cheered Ted having his little outburst at the 2016 convention. They pretended to be Trump supporters eventually because their grift made it a necessity, but they are once again spewing the exact same garbage for Ron now as they did for Ted.
Meanwhile DeSantis in an interview yesterday said the worst aspect about the gross Lawfare being used against Trump is that it is making it difficult for poor Ron to win the primary. He is vomiting out the exact same garbage his influencers like Steve Deace and Dave Rubin cry about.

These polls results are appearing to be used as evidence that Nikki Haley should be President Trump’s running mate for the election.
Remember the 2020 election Joe Biden didn’t choose the runner up in polls for his running mate he chose Kamala Harris whose polling of 1% or less convinced her to be the first to drop out of the race.

I am a town clerk in NH. Thousands of NH residents changed their party affiliation to “Undeclared” so they could vote in the Republican Primary. (Undeclared voters can choose either party ballot during Primaries.) There is a concerted effort to dilute President’s Trump lead in the state by voting for one of the other Republican candidates. Nikki Haley has been blanketing the state with glossy flyers, texts and rallies. Since there are about 20 candidates on the Republican ticket, it will be interesting to see what the vote spread looks like. It makes me wonder if Nikki Haley will benefit from this tactic.
The demonrats do the same in Idaho, and the RINO’s here like it. They see it as a tool to keep America First off the ballot.
