Israel Update:
-Heavy bombardments in areas the IDF is about to invade. I mentioned yesterday the names of the three cities that will break Hamas. Two in the North and Kahan Yunis in the south. All those areas have extra hundreds if not thousands of terrorists who escaped other areas. I am going to pray. Those are the strongest strongholds of Hamas and they had time to prepare. I pray for the life of the soldiers and their success. May God protect and guide.
-3 more IDF soldiers died. May God bless their souls!
-Israel assassinated a Battalion commander he was one of the leaders of the forces who took part and commanded in the 10/7 attack. His location was hit with a huge bomb and all that is left of the building is a deep hole that Hamas will show to gain sympathy.
-IDF wiped out two homes of two of the main Hamas commanders who led the 10/7,
their families. It looks like there is a revenge going on against anyone who took part in the 10/7 attack. But from my knowledge of the IDF a target is only legitimate if there is information that the terrorist is there or has some terror operation going in the house. So we may hear about their death soon.
-260 Senior Executives from the financial field in the US signed a document that says they will never employ students who participated in the pro Hamas demonstrations and other such activities. Some of those who signed are senior executives in JP Morgan and Bank of America, etc… I believe that Jewish billionaire Bill Ackman led this action and also led a counter attack in Harvard who was one of the worst offenders.

-President of the Red Cross is arriving to Egypt, Gaza and Israel in an attempt to gain access to the Israeli hostages and their right for care. This is after tremendous pressure from Israel and allies.
-IDF Chief of Staff in a talk to Reservists: “Until the pause we dismantled two Brigades of Hamas, not completely, we still have forces working on increasing the wins and hurt more battalions. Yesterday and today we killed battalion Commanders, other commanders and many others terrorists. Yesterday morning we started the same actions in the South. It will have no less power used and will carry no lesser results. The Hamas commanders will meet the IDF everywhere in a very strong way.”
-The Houthis (Yemen) attacked two ships they suspected were Israelis. With drones and missiles. One didn’t have any Israeli connection, was British, and one a remote connection. The British one is badly damaged and at risk of sinking. The US blames Iran for allowing it.
Note: Israel need to be able to pass the Red Sea. It’s a commercial route from the far East.
This can cause major financial damage, to take other routes. I think that Israel is trying to make it an international affair, shipping routes safety, but it may have to take more serious action. I think that retaliation against Iranian tankers will handle this problem rapidly.
-Blinken meets Qatari leader regarding hostage negotiations and humanitarian aide.
Note: I recently listened to an Israeli expert with Intelligence background. He said that Qatar have a history of “buying people”. He mentioned how they bought the Deputy President of the European Union and she got busted. He suggested that the protests in universities could relate to Qatari money.
-Another attack on a US base in Iraq. No data of injuries.
-If you remember an image that I shared here of the twin girls who are 3 years old with their mom who were hostages, the Conio family who was released, It is now told that after a couple of days in captivity the Hamas separated one of the girls away from the mom and other sister. Later on when they had to move to another location they met again. Awful!
-A leak of sound of the Israeli Head of Shabak (Spy agency) saying that “All Hamas leaders wherever they are , in Qatar, Turkey, West Bank, Lebanon, will all be assassinated over the next years like was done after the Munich Olympic massacre.”
Note: It’s hard for me to think that someone like this was susceptible to a leak. I suspect it was “leaked” intentionally to plant fear in the hearts of the terrorists.
-An American strike on an Iranian linked militia in Iraq. 5 died.
-President of Columbia is comparing Israel to Nazis. Israel responds sharply. He has been very nasty this whole time of war.
-An Israeli Reserve soldier in his 40s got a refresher to leave for home. On his way he filled in the Lottery and won 20 million Shekels (more than 5 million dollars). He said : “Me and my wife couldn’t sleep. I feel like I was chosen to do good therefore a part of it will go to charity.”

Lucy Harish is a TV host on a major channel in Israel. She is an Arab Israeli, Muslim. She is married to a well known Jewish actor. I choose this short video because it gives me hope that with the right education and co-existence you get people like her. While in Israeli elections the Arab parties get most of the Arab votes and they are quite sympathetic to their genocidal brothers in the West Bank, one must remember not to generalize ethnic and religious groups. We also have Muslim soldiers and many who like co-existence. One leader of the largest Arab party who is related to the Muslim Brotherhood actually came out with a very strong condemnation of the 10/7 while another one in his party denied the whole thing and he scolded her very strongly until she apologized. So even if the % is small and I don’t know the % in the Arab Israeli society there are those who are decent.

Frank Zappa
had a varied and multi-talented career as an experimental musician, singer-songwriter, composer, bandleader and filmmaker.
He released his first album as part of the band Mothers of Invention in 1965. Titled “Freak Out it was, unusually for a first album, a double-sided release. The band recorded four albums for the label Verve before Zappa set up his own record label Bizarre Records with Herb Cohen in 1968. Alice Cooper would be the only successful act to be released by the label.
Zappa went on to record a large number of albums – over 60 across his career, while also touring extensively, mainly in the US and Europe. His musical style was diverse, incorporating a wide range of styles such as Doowop, Jazz, R&B and classical modernism. His lyrics often took a satirical and humorous view of society and he was a strong advocate for the freedom of speech. In 1985 he testified before a Senate Committee against the Parents Music Resource Center, that advocated the banning of lyrics with sexual or satanic content.
Zappa died at just 52 of prostate cancer in 1993. He was inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in 1995 and awarded Grammy for Lifetime Achievement in 1997.

Due to their home’s proximity to the arsenal, which stored mustard gas, gas masks were kept in the home in case of an accident.[1]: 20–23 This living arrangement had a profound effect on Zappa, and references to germs, germ warfare, ailments and the defense industry occur frequently throughout his work.
Zappa’s father often brought mercury-filled lab equipment home from his workplace and gave it to Zappa to play with.[1]: 19 Zappa said that as a child he “used to play with it all the time”, often by putting liquid mercury on the floor and using a hammer to spray out mercury droplets in a circular pattern, eventually covering the entire floor of his bedroom with them.
Zappa was often sick as a child, suffering from asthma, earaches and sinus problems. A doctor treated his sinusitis by inserting a pellet of radium into each of Zappa’s nostrils. At the time, little was known about the potential dangers of even small amounts of therapeutic radiation.

My dad who grew up poor and whose generous aunt helped fund him through medical school (he had a job to aid in that effort while attending and paid her back) put much score in shiny shoes. I remember that he had multiple pairs of the same brogues all lined up regimentally in his closet, all shined to a fare thee well by a wonderful man who would collect and return them. This man always received a generous tip for his efforts. To my dad it was a mark of self respect and one of the things I most remember about him.
Finally enough, my Chris feels the same about his shoes…also brogues. But he is an Englishman, so……

The other two things which he insisted upon…a tidy front yard and a pristine car, inside and out.
This story I told my three grands, putting emphasis on the car. The twin grandlads’ cars are both mint…inside and out. They take pride in their vehicles. One of the lessons I hammered home when I had them captive in my car while doing the pickup school runs for all those years. My dad would have been very proud…💕
My kids generation and all succeeding generations don’t feel about cars like I did/do. I was at the DMV on my 16th birthday to get my drivers license. I saved my money and got a car as fast as I could. My kids? Meh. Not all that interested. I guess their world existed on their phones … in virtual space. Me? I wanted the FREEDOM to go where I wanted and see friends … *gasp* … in person!
Me? I still hand wash my cars. Why? They’re large investments and deserve the care due to the resources expended on them. I actually enjoy doing it (except vacuuming the interior is not so fun) and consider owning the car to be a great privilege. My neighbors pay for a mobile car washing company (two Asian guys) to wash their cars … *sigh* … the Door-Dash generation. 🤷🏼♂️
In England, when I was a child,
a man was not considered ‘a gentleman’ unless he kept his shoes or boots very polished. Also, you did not go for a job interview without checking your shoes. Even if your shoes had holes in the soles and you could not even afford to get them repaired, you shoved a piece of cardboard in them to cover the hole, and wore them anyway.
However, the tops of the shoes were polished so often no one knew, or you hoped they didn’t, and as you mostly traveled by bus, you hoped it would not rain, Soggy cardboard in your shoes was not pleasant. 🙂

Who is my neighbor? – Luke 10:29
The parable of the Good Samaritan is one often told in Sunday Schools and sermons to illustrate compassion and service. The focus is on the Samaritan traveler who ignored the cultural norms of his day and disrupted his journey to help the injured victim. Consider for a moment the two men who passed by the situation, and just couldn’t be inconvenienced. Which of the three are you?
The priest and the Levite both passed by on the other side of the road and did not stop to assist the injured man. You may imagine the justifications they offered themselves for not attending to the victim. Some have suggested that they did not want to become ceremonially unclean. Perhaps they were thinking, “I don’t have time,” or “I can’t afford it,” or “I don’t want to become entangled in his problems.” As Jesus tells the story, the key to their behavior and decisions is that they did not show compassion or mercy.
With all of the activities of the holiday season, it is important to remember to be merciful. While you may fill a Samaritan’s Purse box for a child in some underprivileged country, or you might drop money in the Salvation Army bucket, that should not be the extent of your holiday compassion. Compassion can simply be kindness, such as an extra smile to a beleaguered store clerk or calling out a thank-you to the parcel delivery person.
Perhaps you can offer to pick up the forgotten grocery item for a shut-in neighbor or bake an extra batch of cookies and take them to the nearest police or fire station. Allow yourself to consider being inconvenienced this season, to extend generosity and kindness. Ask God to make you aware of the opportunities He places before you.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

I was hosting one of our supper club gatherings. As I was preparing, I left the room for a few seconds (I SWEAR!!!!)…and when I came back I discovered that my four year old son had taken a whole container of baby powder and emptied the contents all over our wood floor. I know he thought he was helping…he’d seen me often enough sprinkling carpet freshener.
Needless to say, as he was “helping” by wildly shaking the baby powder out, it went everywhere! On the tables, shelves…EVERYWHERE!! An hour before the guests were to arrive.
At least it wasn’t paint!! 😂
(I love how the little girl above has used her hair to hide, leaving a small peep hole to check on the appreciation committee. LOL!!!!)
She IS adorable … and her natural instinct is to USE that adorableness to escape punishment. God must have set up females that way … they’re all so good at it 🩷

Pretty nasty flu. Haven’t had anything like this since COVID. Though respiratory symptoms are not so bad as then. Sinus pressure, headache, aches and pains, and cramps in the gut, flatulence, watery diarrhea.
This is day 3, and every time I think I starting to feel better it comes back a slams me again. Night time is the worst.
