Secretive White House Surveillance Program Gives Cops Access to Trillions of US Phone Records

A little-known surveillance program tracks more than a trillion domestic phone records within the United States each year, according to a letter WIRED obtained that was sent by US senator Ron Wyden to the Department of Justice (DOJ) on Sunday, challenging the program’s legality.

Wyden was once strong against the CheatWare Machines.
Until they were the only way Democrats could seize and cling to power.

I sure remember that time and my computer has long since died that had links and correct spellings of everything related.

My son did some work at an AT&T tech/call center in the bay area prior to covid and the facility was mostly manned by people from India. During covid they were sent home, quite a few went back to India, not yet to return because their work visa’s have expired. Recently my son went back to that tech/call center and it’s now manned primarily by people from china.
Suspicious Cat thinks that maybe there’s a pipeline of information leaving that facility and going to china.

Time to turn it around.
The POTUS, as Commander in Chief, and heading up the EXECUTIVE branch of Giverment, is the ultimate arbiter of National Security; HAS to be that way, because ultimately you can not conduct a war by committee, or with elections.
Hence, the Legislative and Judicial branches MUST defer to the Executive on all matters of National Security, and that includes detirmining if an issue IS a matter of National Security.
Now, the DEPARTMENTS OF the Executive, directly charged with National Security (FBI, CIA, NSA) have exploited this, pushing both the Legislative (you MUST renew Patriot act!) and the Judicial (Don’t question us when we ignore the Constitution!) effectively having no “check” on their unbridled power.
But, their authority over National Security is DERIVATIVE, and comes directly from POTUS. AS their authority over National Security derives directly from his powers as C in C, obviously HE is “on top” and THEY are subservient.
In bringing these rediculous cases re: “Classified documents” against PDJT, in the end they are slitting their own throats.
I know this is not popular, but it’s true.
To a large extent, we choose to live this way.
We have got to see this and take ownership of it to then decide what we want to do about this.
There are people and a lot of them up here around me in New England that don’t have laptops or smart phones and live very much like we all lived prior to all this BS called “Technology”invaded our lives.
My librarian in town was/is fundraising for a library addition- which shocked me because I assumed people were not reading as much. So I went in and had a talk w her about it all.
She told me that it’s to build a new tech wing to house all the new computers they want to bring in.
“WHY?” I asked– thinking most people had their own laptops.. what she said blew my mind.
She said that so many people have left this they need to expand to fill the needs.
Their patrons are concerned about their loss of privacy, they don’t want the expense of maintaining all this tech at home.
They want to come in and use the library equipment to research the new appliance they want and leave.
Go read the news and leave. Go there, use it for what they want or can’t do on a phone and leave.
Let the Library assume the expense and the risk- this is what people want now.

According to Totenberg, there is sufficient cause to believe that there may be “cybersecurity deficiencies that unconstitutionally burden Plaintiffs’ First and Fourteenth Amendment rights and capacity to case effective votes that are accurately counted.”
What’s more, in a footnote within her 135-page ruling, Totenberg said the evidence in the case “does not suggest that the Plaintiffs are conspiracy theorists of any variety.”
“Indeed, some of the nation’s leading cybersecurity experts and computer scientists have provided testimony and affidavits on behalf of Plaintiffs’ case in the long course of this litigation,” she wrote.

Our forgotten first war against Islamic terrorists
Most Americans seem to have forgotten our first war against Muslims.
In the late 18th century, our objection to Islamist practice was their piracy and slaving against our ships and sailors in the Mediterranean Sea.
In 1794, provoked by Algerian captures of American ships, our Congress authorized construction of the first six ships of the U.S. Navy, including the U.S.S. Constitution, still in commissioned service and now docked in Boston.
In 1795, our diplomats negotiated treaties with the Muslim states of Algiers, Tunis, and Tripoli to pay them tribute for the privilege of free passage.
But in 1801, the Pasha of Tripoli, citing late payments of tribute, demanded additional money and declared war on the United States. The United States Marines defeated the Pasha’ forces with a combined naval and land assault. That short foreign conflict is remembered in the Marines’ Hymn in the words “to the shores of Tripoli.”
Earlier, in 1786, John Adams and Thomas Jefferson — two prominent Founders of our country — were in London seeking agreements with Muslim states on the North African coast of the Mediterranean Sea. On March 28th they wrote a letter to John Jay, then the American Secretary for Foreign Affairs, reporting on their difficulties:
…We had a conference with the Ambassador of Tripoli, at his House.
The amount of all the information we can obtain from him was that a perpetual peace was in all respects the most advisable, because a temporary treaty would leave room for increasing demands upon every renewal of it, and a stipulation for annual payments would be liable to failures of performance which would renew the war, repeat the negotiations and continually augment the claims of his nation and the difference of expence would by no means be adequate to the inconvenience, since 12,500 Guineas to his Constituents with 10 pr. IMHO….you are right. There will be no peace as long as that ideology is followed and they won’t stop because it comes from their “holy book” and esteemed “prophet”. During the 2000’s, Hezbollah and Hamas were causing problems…it was researched heavily by many scholars and universities…(not hearing about the restrictions of the Taliban and dress for women etc right now are we?)…yet the effects are the same…the verbiage has been twisted some, yet the end result is still the same. Death to Israel and death to America. Iran has been appeased for now, slightly, by the dollars…for what its worth, my opinion…and not worth much….
Methinks this whole notion of martyrdom being a desirable end, with 72 virgins awaiting, is at the very least less than 100%, and a very convenient myth to have your enemies believe.

Hopefully, this coming term for him, he will address these issues again. We pay entirely too much of our tax dollars to foreign interests and not enough to our own.

I THINK that was their plan, their ‘hope’; the indictments and court cases to keep him off the ballot in States, while ultimately unsuccessful, would A) lower his popularity/support, B) build the narrative questioning his ‘legitimacy’ as a candidate, C) combined with changing RNC rules, like “proportional delegates” setting it up so the RNC could say “Trump lost the nomination, fair and square” and D) as a last ditch, setting it up for the RNC to say “We can not give PDJT the nomination, as we can not have our parties “standard bearer”, our parties candidate for the highest office in the land, under the cloud of multiple indictments.” i.e. setting this up as a justification for denying him the nomination.

Let’s quickly recap where we are as regards government. The uniparty has created a situation in which the voters are only necessary for the veneer of legitimacy. The system as it stands has very little to do with the average Joe and Jane and here’s why.
They have created vast divisions along social lines and nominally aligned each party along those two lines. They have created safe districts that will fall on one side or the other. As such, except for a handful of swing districts, the outcome is a foregone conclusion.
This dynamic leaves them free to engage in what is really important to them – increasing their profit, power, and prestige. This is done through enriching themselves via money laundering. To some extent the source of the money is taxes, but that’s only a fraction. The biggest chunk comes from just making up more fake money.
Historically, democrats laundered money through unions (and by extension mafia), while republicans used corporations. Now, there is a greater diversity of revenue streams (more ways to launder). Big religion (help for poor and immigrants), foreign handouts (Ukraine as poster child), big education (colleges plus student loans), but the 800 lb gorilla is the corporations.
Big Ag, Big Pharma, and Big Defense are probably the 3 major industries. Make no mistake, they control a vast amount of public policy. From all these laundering operations, the actual mechanism of payout is varied, but Biden and Bernie Sanders have poorly hidden their mechanisms so we can catch a glimpse of this.
By ensuring only two parties, the parties ensure that the only way someone can get to office is via the party structure and mechanism which ensures the status quo.
Meanwhile, the bureaucracy has realized that while individual politicians come and go, bureaucrats remain for decades. There has come to be a de facto agreement that neither party will substantively interfere with the actions of the bureaucracy.
In the background, the CIA has come to fully control the bureaucracy (executive branch), the media, and to a significant extent the corporations. Speculated but not confirmed that they have meaningful control over the legislature. Their agenda is their own, and with no meaningful oversight they do as they please.
Everyone is perfectly happy with this status quo as everyone gets what they want except the American people who have been rendered irrelevant. The only threat to this arrangement is the American people awakening to this, mainly the middle class. The economic elite are part of the power structure that benefits, and the very poor are beneficiaries of the giveaways (the lessons of the French Revolution were not lost).
Their only real enemy is us. The Tea Party was a threat easily dealt with. The only meaningful threat then is that posed by the President himself who wields immense constitutional power. This is why everyone that benefits from the status quo fights him tooth and nail. This is why we must focus on the fight to get Trump re-elected like we’re the third monkey on the ramp to Noah’s ark.

Mr. Beadles makes a hugely incorrect statement in his conversation with the judge – while training to be a poll worker the training went out of their way to show us how to verify signatures, and during the day of election the two managers of our spot also went out of their way to make sure we were indeed taking our time to verify signatures, and his opening comment that the votes were counted in secret is also not true, there were observers and there was live-feed video of the ballot counting that could be observed online. This gentleman is a new resident of Nevada, having moved over from California. Not sure why he didn’t hire a lawyer well-versed in Nevada law. Am sure Mr. Beadle will be appealing as the judge states, this is all going to end up in the State’s Supreme Court. The judge was right in this particular decision.
A federal court in Pennsylvania just ruled that voters who submit mail ballots in time for an election but forget to write the date on the mail ballot envelope will still have their ballots counted.

Wanda Geter-Pataky needs to be criminally charged and prosecuted. Hopefully, that would have a chilly effect on anyone anywhere thinking about doing the same criminal act.

The problem Democrats have is these podunk local pols doing stuff on a small scale in local elections which shows us how 2020 was rigged.
They saw how it was done then, and are trying recreate it at their level.
They absolutely did it at their level in the 2020 election. This wasn’t recently learned by watching. This is decades of pretending that this wasn’t happening.
And the second problem is that only the local podunks will be prosecuted. The super-duper podunks have immunity.
She was caught thus one time. But how many other trips were made by her and others. Reason to hand count and verify signatures. They should demand it because the whole ballot collection is now in doubt.
