Patrick, we just watched a piper in full regalia piping through a line of Met police in London for Armistice Day/Remembrance Day.
He didn’t get far…
Two of the thug police reached out and gave a mighty shove which flattened him to the ground.
How has it come to this?
I am very upset. How dare those ignorant scum bag cops disrespect these brave men. Most of them are gone now bless their hearts.
I am especially angry as one of my relatives was in the Argyll an Sutherland Highlander’s regiment. He died some years ago and when he was buried, the pipers came from the legion to honor him and play at his graveside.
He was just an ordinary soldier no high rank. He was one of the the dearest kindest man I ever knew.
Some day if I find out how to post a photo I will post one of him. He fought in the Sahara desert where the famous German General ‘Rommel’was defeated. The Germans called the Scottish regiments ‘the Ladies from Hell’ because they wore their kilts and they were fierce fighters. Then they fought in Italy. Thank God he came home safe. Many men died.
This piper was paying respect to the fallen soldiers. I am sickened and horrified at the way he was treated. In fact it brought tears to my eyes.
It upset us dreadfully, jb. I suppose with the eradication of all the things which remind us of this sacred Remembrance by government overlords who have made clear that their allegiances to King and country count for nothing now, we shouldn’t be surprised. But we were absolutely horrified!
I wonder if the great Neil Oliver will address this abomination. We cried, too, my dear friend. It seems to be a day for it…

11/11/2023 – Until the time appointed of the Father
Deuteronomy 12:8-9 “You shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes. For you are not as yet come to the rest and to the inheritance, which the LORD your God gives you.”
This present state which we are in, since having been expelled from Eden and the Presence of God, is a time of probation, until we be proven what kind we are, and if we are to be saved or perish. While we are passing through this “valley of decision,” we are not left orphans, or without instruction and guidance. All through history, from the beginning, the guiding light of men has always been with the saints and prophets of God. The men of the world have always tried to snuff it out, and silence the servants of God. Still God would have His own people, and a holy line through which Christ would come into the world.
To this point, we should understand, that at what time the children of Israel were brought out of Egypt by the mighty hand of God, they were His covenant people of inheritance; and as having been taken out of the world, and never again to be of the world, they were given the law of God for their Constitution. That meant, that from now on, their King is God; and their entire character and conduct would reflect HIM to the world, through His people. They cannot any longer have their own thoughts, and be a law unto themselves.
The day that Moses said this to the children of Israel, they were just coming out of the punishment of forty years wandering in the wilderness; and the context in which he said, “You shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes;” because it was marking the day of death to the old man (as we would call it), and a new birth, a new creation, the kingdom of God coming in to drive out the former occupants, to cleanse and sanctify the land, for God’s people to come in their place.
Galatians 4:1-2 “Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differs nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; but is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.”
This “time appointed” for now is a Grace Period, and Space For Repentance, that the preaching of the Gospel may come to all nations; so that all should prepare the way of the Lord, and make His paths straight. Just as John the Baptist was unto the people, for announcing the coming of the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world; so also is our ministry through these last days, to make ready the people for the great day of Christ, and the end of the world.
In order for us to fulfill our charge of God, in anticipation of His appearing; God has called us and anointed us, and has sealed us with the earnest of the Spirit; the pledge of the full inheritance to which He is bringing us. We have been severed from other people, that we should be the Lord’s; and we shall not be joined unto the nations of the earth. our old man is dead, and all his ways. We are now new creations, born again, born of God: and the narrow gate which leads to life is not wide enough for us to carry our own plans, or anything that ties us down to this world, through it. And the way of the cross following Jesus, is too closely restricted, to give allowance to the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life. Too close even for the closest and dearest natural relations, or love for our own lives.
“You shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes.” As the children of Israel were about to cross the Jordan into the Promised Land; they were cutting off their past lives for ever, and commencing a new life, with the chief objective to establish the kingdom of God in the earth; which would be for blessing all nations with the knowledge of God, and of His salvation. In the same way, Jesus often and earnestly taught, how that “No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” And when the proud and covetous derided Him for saying these things, He said to them, “You are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knows your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.” (Luke 16:13-16)
Another aspect of this, which is absolutely true; is that, where someone’s sins, which may have been many, are forgiven; the same will love much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little. And our New and Eternal Beloved, the Lord Jesus Christ, we cannot but forsake all and follow Him; and we cannot be idle nor unfruitful in the knowledge of Him; we have to know Him more and more, and seek Him with all our might continually. We add to our faith *virtue (moral excellence, perfection); and to virtue knowledge; and to knowledge *temperance (self control); and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; and to godliness brotherly love; and to brotherly love *benevolence (agape).
When we have truly come into this new and wonderful life by the power of God, we will be made partakers of His divine nature, because we have been begotten of God; the things which are pleasing to God, are now what we highly esteem; and the things of the world which are abomination to God, we hate.
God is our King, and we are His subjects and citizens. Those who have not a king, can do whatever is right in their own eyes, and after their own pleasure and benefit. We have a higher purpose for our existence, than to just live for self, with no God: we are the children of the Most High, replicas of Himself and redeemed by the blood of Jesus. We do have a King; a King whose kingdom is not of this world, and has nothing to do with fighting to save His life in this evil world. Jesus led the way for us how to overcome the world; by dying to the world, and now living for ever unto God.
Ephesians 5:15-17 “See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Because of this be you not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.”
Israel Update:
-IDF: We conquered 11 Hamas bases so far.
-Worsening in the Lebanon front. . A few drones injured 4 Israelis. 3 badly. Israeli strikes back. UNIFIL is communicating to both sides in order to prevent more escalation. The US pressures Israel from escalating the Lebanon front. Note: The question is more of timing. Many Israelis who live by the north border don’t want to come back home considering what happened in the South. There is a realization and public pressure in Israel to handle Hezbollah like Hamas because we can’t continue the situation like we did in Gaza.
-Iranian President on his way to the Arab League meeting. “Gaza is not for words but for actions”. The meeting is in Saudi Arabia. The Muslims will coordinate international pressure on Israel to ceasefire. Israel will have to stand strong and get the job complete.
Nothing in the world will stop Israel from doing what must be done to release the hostages.
The only possible way for Israel to stop is the release of all hostages and Hamas out of Gaza.
-Senior Israeli to Wall Street Journal: “It is possible that there are hostages under Shifa hospital. It will make it hard to operated there.
-Report: 2700 refugees are left in Shifa. There are 700 are patients. The medical team is smaller and 2500 patients left. Shifa had some 30,000 refugees or more in there earlier.
-Gazan sources: Shifa is surrounded and other two hospitals too.
Those are Hamas command centers.
-Macron (French President) released a strong anti Israel statement about “stop killing Palestinian babies and children”. This is a change in tone of Macron. Netanyahu responded to this.
-UN says about 30,000 escaped yesterday from North to South Gaza.
-Thousands in a Pro Palestinian protest in NY. NY Times building blocked.
-Brigade 401 of the IDF (Tanks) reporting on a few battles in North Gaza in the last couple of days and killing about 150 terrorists.
-A known Israeli Military Reporter: “Biden need to understand that the way Israel fights actually reduces civilian casualties.”
Biden sounded frustrated when he said “he expected Israel to be faster in this war”.
The IDF is moving slow intentionally. It is a new military doctrine that was developed in the past few years. The main intention is to reduce casualties of the IDF and of the not involved of the other side. The method is an improvement of an American method of a combined warfare.
The essence of this method is that a Hamas terror unit with anti tank missiles will be identified before they fired and will be attacked from the air rapidly. This means that they will not fight Israeli infantry at first but will meet the combined power of the IDF including air, ground and sometimes sea within minutes of them attempting to attack.
For example, an Infantry Battalion commander who notices 15 terrorists in the area he wishes to progress to will not charge on them. He will contact the “Fire Brigade” which is behind and explain what he needs. This Brigade will rapidly decide what to send, a helicopter or a drone or a jet fighter or just use artillery or precision rockets. The airplanes do not need to take off, they are already waiting in the air not far and can attack in less than a minute with precision munition. But the target must be confirmed and approved and this takes a few minutes. The ground Battalion commander then directs the pilot or other means and they do the rest.
The target which can be 200 meter (656 feet) away from the IDF get hit with a precision missile of a one ton weight sometimes. Then the battalion commander get the people to progress. The D9 bulldozer moves first exposing any boobytraps and explosives and then tanks. This is a slow method. It reduces casualties. This method is after the area was already bombed and “softened” previously before the Ground forces even entered.
Additionally in urban areas with tunnels it requires more time to expose the tunnels and attract the enemy to come out. To destroy the tunnels and move on. The initial bombardment makes it harder to locate the tunnels. Therefore there is a wait for the enemy to emerge first. And all this must be done carefully in case the hostages are in there.
This methodology so far proved itself. The IDF is now well into Gaza without too many casualties (I think so far about 35 IDF died in this invasion). Every army knows that urban war requires many casualties of self and of the not involved. The method of the IDF is based on Intelligence and precision and ground forces who know how to move in urban areas, sometimes they move through the walls and into the structures as to not be exposed and not get into ambushes and explosives as the enemy expected.
There are two more elements. The tanks and carriers of the soldiers have protective systems that can intercept anti tanks missiles and RPGs in the air. And more important is “The Rolling fire Screen”. That is an artillery and precision rockets and air fire that attacks the ares ahead of the moving tanks and infantry.
This slow method has disadvantages but is thorough and enables the not involved to leave the areas in advance. It is important regarding international legitimacy. It is the job of the political level to explain that the way we operate actually enables the least civilian casualties. The slow progress gives time to civilians to evacuate.
The US shows some lack of understanding to the slow motion despite the fact that it took more than 3 years to get ISIS out of Iraq and 10 years to overcome Al-Qaeda. The lack of patience is due to internal pressures of Democrats in the US.
-A drop in rockets on Israel. The ground invasion does reduce the rocket attacks. Yesterday there were only 21 and this includes the north of Israel. Still two Israeli women were injured.
-In Gaza they say that there is no electricity and fuel and water in Shifa hospital.
-IDF took 4 hours pause and uses it to call civilians to evacuate. There are thousands leaving. Note: The visuals of thousands leave with white flags are demoralizing to Hamas. I’s exactly what they didn’t want to see.
-Over 15,000 targets were attacked since the war began.
-Gaza reports 11,078 dead. 2,800 missing. 27,490 injured.
-Hezbollah reports 70 dead so far.
-Intensive fire exchanges in West Gaza.
-Overall the main news is that the IDF is surrounding the Shifa Hospital and others and Infantry are almost there physically, bombardment around it and most of the civilian refugees are out. Once Israel takes the Shifa Hospital it means the Hamas leadership will be fully under siege under the hospital if they are still there. With the sword on their necks there is a better chance to get a better deal regarding the release of the hostages.

The Palestinian health ministry said on Saturday that 39 babies are at risk of death in Gaza’s Al-Shifa hospital after electricity was cut off and amid a lack of oxygen and medicine.
The ministry sent out a statement correcting remarks made by Health Minister Mai al-Kaila in a televised press conference in which she said “39 infants died in the modern care for children department because they couldn’t get oxygen or medicine to them and electricity was cut off.”
The ministry statement added that one baby had died, echoing a comment to Reuters by its spokesperson in Gaza, Ashraf Al-Qidra.

Ill help you out if I can. The IDF is allowing safe passage for the ones that want to have IDF protection to the southern Gaza Strip. It seems that Hamas wont let them past a certain point before they start shooting them.
The IDF can’t fight in a war and do escort service at the same time…so its not actually an actual pause…its just a timed escort between certain hours while other forces are still fighting. From what I understand there will be no ceasefire until Israel attains the return of ALL hostages.

What we have here is a closed loop… the globe. Any carbon emitted from humans came from the globe. Fossil fuels/coal/wood are simply sequestered carbon from previous times. Most likely this sequestered carbon came indirectly from the oceans of the world.
Global cooling is nature’s way of sequestering carbon into the oceans.
Nature has a way of creating clouds to mitigate increased temperatures in local areas of the world. It is reasonable to expect this action is a result of increased humidity caused by evaporation of local water.
These simple points lead one to believe it is not prudent to dump chemicals into the oceans of the world in order to change the localized acidic value of water. Odds are you will create a localized algae bloom.
Getting to the crux of the matter is the verification of the numbers used in this MIT article. How do they know their statistical models of human carbon emissions and oceanic acidification changes are accurate and precise? Reading this article leads one to believe very basic statistical manipulations were conducted to generate these numbers. It is reasonable to assume the crude statistical methodology used is not relevant to the real world.
It is reasonable to expect the “Coffee Row Senators” to quip …they don’t know sh*t…

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

I was streaming Newsmax for a somewhat conservative news show,
They have now gone to newsmax2 which requires a subscription.

The English League is still mostly representative of traditional English (read: civilizational) values.

Just in: The Pope just replaced Bishop Strickland with a apostolic administrator in our Diocese. For the record, Bishop Strickland is one of the best, most orthodox Bishops in our country today. The reasons given were weak at best and dated back to the beginning of his office here in East Texas. Most old world Catholics understand that the Pope is not the leader of our Church, Jesus is.

This song brought me to tears the first time I heard it. It is my favorite tribute to veterans, written from the viewpoint of a Emmy Lou as a girl admiring her veteran pilot father who flew corsairs (I believe) as a marine over the Solomons. The acknowledgment of the courage and indelible changes wrought on a veteran in wars that are not always clear in purpose. Experiences that test the moral, spiritual, and physical courage of warriors and refine the character for life, should they be blessed enough to return from the battlefield.

The older I get the more I come to understand what my Army surgeon Korean War father saw and why he never ever talked about it. Not one word. When he returned, my mother said he was a different man.
I’ve been reading some posts today written elsewhere by men who served in Vietnam and returned, having left their beloved comrades (closer than brothers) behind. They are heartbreaking. I won’t detail their stories. The picture above on Emmylou’s video you have left is enough.
Our men and women in uniform deserve better military leaders than they have. And they deserve better care than the despicable government allotts to them. Many are the walking wounded with injuries which aren’t instantly visible. And that’s all I’ll say about that.
