New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s nomination of Sohail Mohammed to be a state judge shows the governor’s tin ear for radical Islam. Not only did he appoint a longtime mouthpiece for radical Islamists to be a judge, but Christie has also turned a blind eye to the activities of one of Mohammed’s clients – radical imam Mohammed Qatanani, head of one of New Jersey’s largest mosques.
Qatanani has a history of Hamas support and was related by marriage to a leading Hamas operative in the West Bank. This fall, Qatanani will return to a New Jersey immigration court, where the Department of Homeland Security is fighting to have him deported. In his initial application for a green card filed in 1999, government lawyers say Qatanani failed to disclose a conviction in an Israeli military court for being a Hamas member and providing support to the terrorist group.
Oddly, Christie – a Republican who was then the U.S. Attorney for New Jersey – sided with Qatanani against DHS, allowing a top lieutenant, Assistant U.S. Attorney Charles McKenna, to testify as a character witness at Qatanani’s first immigration trial, and publicly embracing the imam at a Ramadan breakfast at his mosque. Christie later appointed McKenna as New Jersey’s head of homeland security..

The sudden death of that Friends idiot came up in today’s morning meeting. I mildly commented on how it fit the profile of the died suddenlys since mid 2021. But the group was wildly against that idea, almost over the top protesting.

Since George W. Bush’s (STUPID! – W) invasion of Iraq threw the Middle East into realignment, the mullahs in Iran have taken every opportunity to aggrandize themselves at the expense of peaceful, ordered, democratic government: sponsoring Iraqi extremist militias and backing the Palestinian extremist group Hamas, the corrupt Lebanese armed forces, Bashar Assad’s genocidal regime in Syria, and the incompetent and oppressive regime in Venezuela, all while turning to Russia and China for great power support when it comes to energy and cash. Malley’s actions from 2014 to 2017 represent the archetypal attempt to tame Iran by engaging it, and the abject failure of that attempt—in both its local and geopolitical context—points to the misguided futility of the project.
Malley’s main contribution to Middle Eastern geopolitics was to solicit Iran’s help in combating ISIS, while ignoring the cause of ISIS—the Syrian civil war—and throwing U.S. backing behind Kurdish militias like the YPG, which, unlike other Kurdish fighting units, has direct ties to Bashar Assad, and thus to Iran. Malley had nothing to show for this strategy, only hundreds of thousands dead in Syria, millions of Syrian refugees in Turkey and Europe, a further destabilized Iraq, an increasingly disordered Lebanon, and an Iran which rapidly gained influence in the Middle East, spreading chaos and death throughout the region.
It ain’t Biden Mark. Quit blaming the potato head for being the mind behind all this chaos. It’s those lined up behind him pushing the controls. We need to focus on them not him. Nearly certain he will be gone by the end of the year and the real candidate will show up front and center. Biden is not the leader of the pack.

We live at the top of a ridge overlooking a river. The trees have dropped most of their Fall finery and now stand naked against the sky. With the leaves off we can see the river again. This morning a flock of geese were flying South over the river, squirrels are busy storing away walnuts from our big Walnut tree, deer are in the back of the house eating what is left of the Summer flowers and peace prevails.
Amazingly my brother is still alive, my husband, even with all of his health problems, is doing OK and so am I. His birthday is tomorrow, 74 years old. Both of us have lived through rough times before. Our parents, now deceased, lived through the Great Depression and World War II and passed on many tips on how to survive during difficult times. So, we are diligent and prepared, but still take time to enjoy the beauty that GOD has surrounded us with and of course each other.

He was captured by German forces and was digging his grave the day the war ended. I have the original telegraphs in a picture frame. One of his capture and the other stating he was alive in a European hospital. I learned many things from him as a small child. He passed when I was 6.

So Hamas attacks Israel and murders babies, children and women. Israel responds by bombing Gaza including killing babies, children and women. Honestly I can’t say I support either of these groups. The more I hear each side talk about the atrocities committed by the other side over the centuries the more I think both sides suck.
If you say Israel has the right to defend itself and kill the Hamas terrorists, I agree with you. If you believe every Palestinian is guilty and needs to be wiped off the face of the earth, then I disagree with you.
If you say that Gaza is an open air prison and Hamas has the right to attack the Israeli military oppressors, I wouldn’t disagree with you. If you say that all Israelis are Zionists and need to be wiped off the face of the earth, then I disagree with you.
I see no need for America to get sucked into a war in the Middle East over a conflict that has been going on for millennia. Before we send our children to die in the Middle East we should secure our border, get rid of all muslim terrorists in the US and then have a discussion about what our goals are in the Middle East. Rushing into yet another war that could result in WWIII is asinine.
Your argument jumps straight to extremes without considering moderate alternatives.
For example, Hamas continually bombards Israeli civilians from locations in Haza that are surrounded by civilians. Should Israel not respond for fear of killing civilians? When Israel responds and accidentally kills civilians, it is the fault of Hamas. Israel must defend itself and destroy the launchers. There is no moral equivalence as you suggest.
TPTB seek out any small segment of the population that, justifiably or not, feel “aggrieved” and EXXACERBATE their sense of being ‘oppressed’ or ‘cheated’.
They exploit these who see themselves as ‘victims’ NOT because they actually “care” at all, but simply to use these “useful idiots” as cannon fodder in advancing their goals.
The Islamist faux ideology, just like the faux Conmunist ideology, follows this exact same methodology, along with no tolerance for any competing view.
Divide and conquer, and in the Israel/”Palestinian” situation, they have a “perfect storm” with two opposing groups that both percieve, AND ARE PERCIEVED by a larger group of sympathisers, as being agrieved and oppressed.
And, keeping people arguing about the “history in the region”, like keeping people arguing about the weather (climate change) or the “rights” of LBGTQ+, or any other damn fool thing, distracts US as they plow, relentlessly ahead with their machinations to enslave the World, and plunge us into a new dark age.
Generate chaos. Destabilise National Governments, thru mass ‘migration’, color revolutions, etc.
