Israel has had at its top priority for decades the straggle against the nuclear sites in Iran.
Iran is close with Russia.
Russia supplied Iran anti aircraft missiles that will be used agains Israel in case there is an attack on the nuclear sites.
But, they didn’t give them the best missiles, the SAM4. The SAM 4 would be a big problem and make an attack much harder.
Russia did at one time want to give them the SAM4 and Israel managed to prevent it using the good relations with Putin and probably other pressure.
If Israel gives the Ukraine what they want then Putin will give them the SAM4.
Additionally Russia have bases in Syria at the North East border of Israel.
Israel is trying to prevent the Iranians from forming another front against Israel at this border, like they did in Lebanon. Iran also have proxies militia in Syria and are friends with Syria. Iran is also regularly transporting Hizbollah advanced missile systems that can make their missiles more precise and dangerous.
Israel is regularly attacking the Iranian militia in Syria when they try to get too close to the Israeli border.
Israel is regularly attacking from the air the shipments of Iran to Hezbollah.
There is an arrangement between Putin and israel that the Russians let us do the attacks and not use or give the SAM4 against our jets.
In the arrangement Israel alerts Russia on incoming jets and the Russians keep the secret and do nothing.
This is a delicate situation in Syria that if violated then there can be a war between Israel and Russia and Israel doesn’t want it.
If Israel gave Ukraine tie breaking weapons then it will violate the Russia Israel agreement and endanger the security of Israel.
Ukraine has been very rude and constantly complain and attack Israel for not giving them the Iron Dome and other weapons.
