The Glorious, Joyful and Sorrowful mysteries as well as the more recent Luminous mysteries – the Luminous mysteries are prayed over on Thursday, which used to be one of the days for the Joyful mysteries. Mitch Pacwa’s videos are on youtube although I notice that some versions seemed to be not as clear. They might also still have them on EWTN; I used to watch EWTN every morning at 4:30 Pacific time when they had Father Pacwa’s rosary videos but I haven’t watched EWTN for quite a while.
There is also a video on youtube of an hour-long (or so) video of all of the mysteries in one rosary.
Padre Pio of Pietrelcina who Pope John Paul II had known personally and met with him at the end of WWII and later as Pope promoted interest in him – is that the right word – suggested him – as a great help. Padre Pio who died in 1968 bore the stigmata (like St. Francis) and is associated with many miracles. His famous saying is “Pray, Hope and Don’t Worry” which probably seems quite impossible to do but try it one day at a time and then on monumental horrible things that are beyond my ability to do a thing about. You just have to do everything you CAN do, avoid putting yourself and loved ones in situations, if possible – and then turn it over to God to worry about, His glory will prevail.
God will win in the end.
