Brand new Prayer Thread! Be kind…and be gentle…. 😇
Thank you for carrying this over, Ad rem. I think these are referenced more often than you know (speaking for myself, anyways).
My niece passed away earlier this year from accidental fentanyl overdose. It has put my brother’s family into a tailspin of grief, guilt, paralysis, and etc. Many of them are nominal Catholics and do not let our savior Jesus be the foundation of their lives.
Pray for them to cling to Christ first and foremost. My second request is for them to join faith based grief groups to process their loss.
Thank you my brothers and sisters in Christ, and thanks to our glorious Heavenly Father who loves us beyond our comprehension.
🙏🏻
Praying for your brother’s family to find help and alleviate their suffering, each one turning to the Lord on their own in different ways and then as a family – at our very weakest and lowest we find the greatest strength from Him.
Many prayers to you and yours for this special need! I hope and pray the recovery is loving. I can speak to this one, personally. May our Lord’s Mother wrap them in her mantle and take the prayers to her Son.
Be gentle and be patient. Know that God’s love surrounds all of you.
Shasta and Santa Barbara – I so very sorry for the loss of your niece. It is so very hard to watch someone you love grieve and yet you feel your hands are tied. Sometimes you don’t know what to say or to how to help them feel “better”. Having lost a daughter to cancer (brain tumor ‘medullablastoma’) I was fortunate to have been given a heads up and her passing was not all of the sudden or came out of nowhere (even though I believed she’d beat the odds and survive). Everyone grieves differently. I tried the group route due tomy siblings “suggestion” and to be honest it only made me sadder. Groups are helpful to many but for me they did not work. I am a bit of a loner, and have always searched for answers through books and study. My faith was extremely challenged. I wondered “Why would God he make a 2 1/2 year old child suffer? Why did he leave us to grieve her passing forever? What did we ever do to deserve such a heavy cross…”. Thus I engaged in the study of any, and all who lost children and how they moved forward. I honestly did not know how anyone could survive such a tremendous loss, and ever smile again, go about their daily business, attend, gatherings with others… Thankfully, I realized I was not the first person to ever lose a child, nor would I be the last. I am fortunate that I dd have faith, and I had a shining example of a real survivor in the virgin Mary. She witnessed her sons suffering and passing, and yet she survived and moved forward with grace. The Pieta became my symbol of hope. I’ve been found many other men and women who survived similar losses through books (ie., Barbara Bush, Mark Twain, etc. ) and learned a broken heart still beats and that I could move forward a show others that they to can “survive” the loss of a child. Again every person is different – my advice to you is to just keep sending her notes, don’t be afraid to talk about your niece in front of them, share fond memories… All a bereaved parent wants is for you to not forget their child for they will forever be in that parents heart, soul and mind. So keep her memory alive, check in on your nieces family and make sure they know they are loved. There is no timetable for grief. A quote that helps me is:
“I believe in the Sun, even when it does not shine. I believe in love even when it is not felt. I believe in God, even when he is silent.”
Apologies for my rambling post BUT I feel I was meant to share this long winded experience with you. Will carry you all in prayer – a fellow traveler ❤️
How beautiful…”a broken heart still beats”….
Absolutely.
I know your pain…and joy in Christ. Our love for our children does not wane if they reach heaven before us. There is no “getting over it” as some would suggest. Love is imperishable. The more we love, the more it magnifies. Love is our Lord’s gift to mankind. October 5th was my son Michael’s birthday. He met Jesus in person February 24th 1991 – he was ten years old. Since that day, I have been born again…again; and dedicated my life to serving Christ Jesus. I’m a flawed sinner, but I have this hope to meet my boy in the glow of God’s glory.
Dear Shasta and Santa Barbara,
Please accept my prayers and condolences on the loss of your niece.
Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.
Praying for your brother’s family as well, that through this tragedy they will emerge closer than ever to Jesus. And that the Holy Spirit will direct them to a good faith-based group to help them along the way.
I will pray for them. Grief is a powerful force. Anger starts pretty quickly and can overwhelm even the strongest Christian.
Prayers that the grief will bring your brothers family closer to God and to each other. And praying that you will have the strength to pray harder than you ever have before.
I offer my prayers for your family.
Thank you all for your prayers and many encouraging words.
At her memorial in Feb, accounts of her serving of the “Least of These” were spoken of. Despite her struggles, she would share her food directly with those on the street who had none. “Lord, when were you hungry?”
To honor her memory, I now serve meals to the walk in street homeless every other Thu at the Santa Barbara Rescue Mission. I do not do it for her, but to honor her. I see this as ministering to our Lord Jesus himself as He said “when you do this for the least of these you do this to Me.” It is now personal worship of Jesus for me.
Those homeless are no longer nameless, faceless street people. When I hand them trays I now see them as those who also bear the image of God and I get to share the joy of the love of God with them.
Thanks for listening, and I leave shortly for the Rescue Mission to give meals to Jesus.
Retired Magistrate here: Please continue to pray for my brother, John, 70, a Viet Nam War vet who has ALS. He is in his 2nd year with it. Totally paralyzed, on a vent and has a feeding tube. Sometimes he is able to talk over the trach tube and we have a short conversation with him trying to talk and me answering back. When he is able to do that it is a blessing.
I love him so much. Thank you.
Dear Marcia, prayers for your dear brother John.
🙏🏻
Marcia, I love you and your heart, so very much! If I recall, he is out west and you are in the Ohio region?
Many prayers are on the way to you and your brother. And thank him for his service. Am praying for his strength and for you…that there might be at least, more conversation. And to be free of the complications of the trache and vent…of bed rest and all the rest….
Retired Magistrate here: Yes, he is in California and I am in Ohio and due to autoimmune issues I can’t travel that far. I would fly him back here every year and we would visit our childhood home, schools, share memories and have a really great time. So I send cards every other day, small paintings, small gifts and do everything I can. He is such a fighter: pneumonia 7 times, staff infections, UTI infections, afib and he just keeps fighting. He dropped out of high school his senior year to join the service and serve in Viet Nam where he was exposed to Agent Orange which even the VA admits resulted in ALS, so the VA is paying for everything. I am so proud of him. He has a wonderful wife who is with him every day and makes sure that he is getting good care. Thank you so much for your prayers.
You are so welcome…and you are a very thoughtful loving sister!!!
…agent orange is an issue for a dear friend of mine…a veterinarian who went to vet school with many who left school for ‘Nam. And came back, ill, later. Growing up in Panama, it was a stop off for the last jungle training…that was one messed up war that holds a place in my heart. I am so glad that you are able to do what you can although I know you want to be with him. I don’t have any brothers or sisters so I can only imagine what it is like for you. And your brother…that’s quite a few medical challenges he has faced. I am glad the VA is doing what they need to be doing. I will pray for a cure or reversal of his illness, for him and others….
Prayers Marcia!!
Prayers and blessing for you and hope you can remain strong, for his sake and yours, in Christs name.
Storming the heavens in prayer. So hard to witness a loved one suffering 😞 He’s lucky to have you as an earth angel, friend and sibling ❤️
🙏
I’ve never forgotten an interview someone did with a man who had ALS because he said he was the luckiest man alive due to his very loving family who tended to him (which, I believe, was the same phrase baseball legend Lou Gehrig used years before). Some people have so much courage…and that you feel so blessed with your short conversations is another example. God bless you and your brother, John. (I used to entertain the troops who were on leave in Hawaii from that war, and also some who were in Tripler Hospital. So many young men, so many hardships.)
Thank you for what you did for the troops in Hawaii and the hospital….Blessings for you as well.
Praying for good health and healing for your brother John.
I believe that to heal sickness, Christ Jesus held to the eternal truth of the perfection of God’s creation.
Compared to Jesus’ understanding of the truth of being, my own is miniscule; nevertheless, I shall pray for your beloved brother by affirming that he is forever God’s perfect and upright child, made in God’s image.
Oh Marcia, it always touches me when I read your words about your brother. I am continuing in prayer for John, that the Lord might perform a miracle upon him if He should so choose, & that He would comfort your dear heart. The Lord bless you.
May God grant you rich fellowship with your brother.
For my friend Marc, just diagnosed with lung cancer.
For another friend Mark for the loss this week of his father.

My wife has breast cancer. Prognosis is good. Need prayers for guidance/wisdom in selecting the best treatment path, and for complete healing.
🙏🏻
Do your homework and always go with your gut – they will guide you to the proper treatment and don’t forget prayer! Sloan Kettering in NYC has helped many of my friends and they are all survivors 🎉
🙏

Praying for the good health and complete healing of your wife from breast cancer in Jesus’ name. May the Holy Spirit direct her path and all those in the medical profession who care for her, and may God bless you guru1966 at this time as you support your wife.
Sending you prayers to guide you. Encouraging to hear the prognosis is good.

GOD bless your wife.
-and God,
Keep guru positive, loving, strong and normal. And make sure he gives his wife lots of water. 😇
Grant Guru1966’s wife complete care for her illness. We give you thanks for the new skills and knowledge for treating this disease.
thank you! Treepers, my friend who has now lost two extremities, to the ravages of diabetes…please pray for him. He has gone into ‘radio silence’, not answering calls or texts. Overwhelmed, masculine isolation? Depression? Fatigue from rehab? No one knows….
He lost his Mom right before the first amputation…I think the day before…struggled when he made it home and had to give up one of his beloved dogs as he could not care for it. After a short time at home, he had infection recurrence in the other leg…and opted for amputation above the infection. A robust and active man in his youth and adulthood…An Eagle Scout, too.
Please pray for the Lord’s blessings to help him heel as He sees fit.
Thank you so much. And may God hold all of you close! And bestow good health upon all.
I’m praying that the lines of communication will be opened between the two of you again . . . and of course, for his health and well-being!
Thank you all! A puppy love from jr. high school…we have stayed in touch…off and on..more so now with the health ailments. A good man, and a good friend over the years.

Pray for Linda. She has lung cancer. Recently adopted her grandson because his mother is an addict. This boy needs her.
Help Linda, dear Jesus – and please bring her extra help to assure her that her grandson will do well while she is fighting the lung cancer 🙏
Praying for the good health and complete healing of Linda from lung cancer, for the future of her grandson, and for his mother’s deliverance, so that the whole family will praise God for His love, mercy, and tremendous blessings!
Dear Jesus, please bring angels both human and divine to help Linda and her grandson. Fill his life with joy, happiness and your holy spirit. I pray for Linda’s healing.
Dear Lord, we bring Linda before you. Her work is not complete, and grant her the time to raise her grandson.
For my parents. Both are 86 year old Alzheimer’s patients. Still in love but miss each other even though they’re right there together. How can my heart be so full yet broken at the same time?

Thank you for this thread. Praying for all.
Please pray for my son, Brett, who has severe sleep apnea, high blood pressure and now a heart issue. Pray that his new blood pressure medication will lower it enough for him to be able to qualify for insertion of a new device to treat the sleep apnea.
To add to all of this, he is a Marine Iraq War veteran, so is in the VA Healthcare System, dealing with all of the hurdles in getting care coordinated quickly.
Thank you so much!
Dear Lord, please help Brett not only to do well, do better in these health issues but to have a guiding, Guardian angel at the VA who will help him to coordinate his care quickly and effectively!
Thank you dear lady!
Praying that Brett will be fully healed from sleep apnea through the lovingkindness of the Heavenly Father. Praying that the Precious Blood of Christ flow through Brett’s veins, cleansing his bloodstream and restoring his heart to good working order. Dear Lord enable Brett to receive a the care he needs to live life richly. My he be ever thankful to you for your great love to him.
Aloha everyone. Year 5 into rheumatoid arthritis that is literally killing me. It’s getting worse at an accelerated rate. I was a professor for 35 years, a pastor for 21 years—those were just vocations and callings. They ended five years ago because of the RA. I’m still a husband and a dad, and I know my Father in heaven still loves me. But the day-to-day is awful.
I know God hears your prayers! Love you folks, seriously…🤠
I visit the Treehouse several times a day for the based analysis and interchange. I learn so much.
But I stay for the fellowship and camaraderie. Everyone here is awesome. It’s so refreshing and comforting to see how we’re sharing our needs and lifting each other up. The faith on display is so…encouraging.
💞 💌
Every bit of that love is returned Kid…
it truly is – awesome
I’m so sorry to hear about your arthritis. This may seem like an oversimplified question but: Have any of your doctors discussed diet with you? I have a cousin who has completely controlled her RA through diet. Your condition may very well be different from hers, but if you haven’t explored this avenue, it might be worth checking into–and aggressively finding a doctor who will focus on your diet as a means of controlling the arthritis (as you probably know, most doctors just want to shove pills down you).
I’m praying that your days are filled with knowing how long and high and wide and deep is the love of God for you.
Thank you Kudzu! Yes, we’ve been experimenting with various dietary changes. I know that is a helpful intervention for many, especially those with osteoarthritis. Inflammatory arthritis is a bit less straightforward. Unfortunately, cutting back and eliminating proinflammatory foods etc. has not made much difference in my case. I’m definitely eating healthier and that must be a positive influence…but the daily experience of more widespread and intense joint pain.
I’m back into playing piano and guitar after dropping them 2018-2021…having to teach myself new ways to play both instruments because of the RA limitations…it’s a real joy to bless the several small groups I’m in with song. It gets me out of myself. I can’t do it all the time but it’s still a blessing.
Family and friends who understand is really awesome. That my spouse is so loving and supportive is amazing. I wouldn’t still be here without her!🥹
Your tenacity and positivity are inspiring! I pray that you will be healed and pain free.
💕
Dear Heavenly Father, please help KaweahKid with his RA, like soothing water, like the words in Isaiah 58 verses 6-11, that he knows that for his sharing the Gospel and his love of the Lord, that he will be – he IS – like a watered garden whose waters do not fail. Bless him dear Lord in all ways possible.
Lovely.
Praying that God grant you a full and complete healing from arthritis in Jesus’ name. Praying meanwhile that you will take comfort in Colossians 1:24 “Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I complete what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions for the sake of his body, that is, the church” … And that said, that the Lord will still speedily heal you!
Dear Jesus, please provide Kaweahkid with healing and complete relief from his pain. Please present wise doctors and health care providers who can give him the medications he needs to heal. Please fill his life with joy and daily pleasures.
Amen
Lord you healed the hemorrhaging woman who touched the hem of your garment. May the same power go forth from you to KaweahKid.
Haven’t looked at the prior pages so I apologize if this is a repeat.
I was going to ask if we could re-institute the 9 pm community prayers for President Trump and his family. He is under more than just physical threat, Satan is working overtime.
Matt Gaetz could probably use prayers too.
And for vestiges of our Republic.
Prayers and thanksgiving for Sundance!!! And ad rem and Menagerie and anyone else who helps keep this incredibly useful site up and running.
Praying for all our fighters and patriots.
🙏🏻
🙏❤️🙏
Praying for all these intentions.
It may not be exactly 9 pm every night, but am definitely keeping America, President Trump, and all of his friends, family, and supporters in prayer.
It is 9:00 somewhere. Dear Lord please take all that is meant for evil and have it turn to good. Please bless and protect everyone standing firm to do your will.
Amen
You all here are so amazing – I asked for prayers for my 2 sisters a few back and prayers were answered – my one sister did win her medical lawsuit – it took almost 9 years to settle but she did win – she is disabled mentally and legally blind but at least wont have to worry about expenses
I asked for prayers for my sister who had leukemia – your prayers gave us a few more years with my beautiful sister but she passed away 3 years ago in August
I love you all!!
💕
🙏
Your prayers are requested for a loved friend who received a diagnosis of “cancer” after some fairly dramatic symptoms…but who is using holistic healing, prayer, and good old common sense to learn about how the body becomes ill with Modern Life Disorder, and to restore health, and the body’s own repair systems, outside of the clutches of Pharma.
As many of you know who have loved ones undergoing health challenges or breakdowns, the pressures to turn themselves over to, and become biologically, physically, chemically, etc., incarcerated by, Pharma and Big Med are intense, unstopping, omnidirectional, and powerful. I pray him a shield against those things in particular, since once that stress is removed, and natural repair systems restored, nothing is impossible in the name of the Father, His Son, and Logos.
And thank you to all Treepers for requesting prayer, that your need attests to the Father’s Love and attracts it and amplifies it.
laying on of hands from afar for your friend. if I may, earthclinic dot com is a good resource for alternative cures. please let us know how he is doing if you can.
🙏praying for your loved friend to be on the way to healing and to have good nutrition to help get well and be strong
Praying for the good health and complete healing of your dear friend in Jesus’ name.
Mrs. Watcher, and all who have posted prayer requests concerning cancer —
Please see the website — mycancerstory.rocks
It was created and written by Joe Tippen, and man who was given 3 months to live with a body full of cancer, but who was cancer free at the end of those 3 months.
He took fenbendazole — a dewormer that used to be prescribed to humans, along with a few simple other things, and some of those have changed since he became cancer free and posted the results of what he did.
I know of two men who live close by who took the dewormer and are cancer free, so it has hit close to home in marvelous ways.
Plus a dear friend is currently taking the treatment, and is feeling stronger and healthier every day, while the doctors are surprised she is not falling apart.
My heart breaks reading each and every prayer request, and my heart cries to the Lord for His blessings to all in many ways. But I have great and joy filled hope when it comes to beating cancer, and I pray that some day soon we will be able to rejoice with you and your friend that she too is cancer free.
That is one of my prayers.

Praying for all.
The flickering candle is what originally attracted me to this site years ago.
Thank you Ad rem, and thank you to Sundance and the rest of the crew.
Yes MoPar.
Thank you Ad rem for bringing this Prayer Request thread out and making it a focus.
Our family prays twice a day for so many and for our Pres Trump and his family.
Now we can help others with the healing and uplifting Spirit of Prayers.
For my friend Alan, who earlier this year underwent his second heart transplant due to a genetic issue (his first one was while he was in high school) along with a concurrent kidney transplant. He is having a difficult time getting his medications balanced which is causing great emotional and physical pain. He has not ever abused drugs or alcohol, it is just the hand he was dealt.
He generally has a great attitude, but as occasional setbacks. Pray for the doctors and his family while they endure this current trial.
This same genetic defect caused the passing of his father and brother over the past 5 years.
God bless and help your friend Alan and give him a sense of strength and love backing him up, let all unnecessary stresses fall away and leave him free to concentrate on getting better
Praying for your good friend Alan, that the Lord bless him with abundant good health and healing, and that meanwhile his medications will work to his good and do him no further harm.
Dear Lord, Praying that Allan will be blessed with doctors and health care providers who have the wisdom to treat him and make his life pain free and filled with joy.
Amen
God we give you thanks for providing so much life to Alan so far! We ask that you grant him many more years.

Continued prayers for my son who was in a serious car wreck about 8 weeks ago. He spent 3 days in ICU. Broke all ribs on his left side, 3 broken vertebrae, bleeding on the brain, ruptured spleen, severe lung contusions and many scrapes, abrasions and bruising. He continues to heal but has yet to be able to return to his job. His back is still not completely healed enough to be able to do his job.
God is good!
Sending a prayer up now for your brother–for continued healing, for peace in the midst of the pain, and above all that this experience will show him just how much God loves him.
God IS good!
Please dear God, help Tonya’s son in his recovery which💕💕🙏 💕💕has to be painful every time he takes a breath with those ribs broken as well as the severe lung contusions . . . please help him to gradually be able to take deeper and better breaths as that will aid in his healing and prevent pneumonia . . . help him with physical therapy on a steady basis . . . heal his precious brain which is trying so hard to sort everything out and get well . . . help his spleen to recover steadily and surely so that it can help the rest of his body get well, to feel like a waterfall within . . . help him to keep up his spirits and his fight.

God restore the broken body of Tonya’s son. Thank you for soaring his life. Do for him as you did for my friend Devin whose body was shattered in a car accident. He should not have lived, but you saved him. You continue to restore him, and do the same for this beloved son.
Lord Jesus, please keep Tonya under your loving watch. Ease the pain and fear that she feels as a mother. Protect her son. Strengthen him every day and remove the worry that he has concerning his job.

Yes, dear Lord, please help our precious country and all on here, who are truth seekers and believers, giving hope to each other and to claim Your promises. Yes, thank You, dear Lord, for watching over our VSGPDJT – and Melania and his children and everyone who is working to help him, please watch over also all of his attorneys, their paralegals and secretaries and file clerks working very hard to do their parts in this storm of persecution, they are all like the sailors on a ship at sea beset by a terrible storm, please lead them and guide them through . . . and I ask too for all those who have been a part of the persecution, any who could step back and away from being a part of all this, help them to have mercy as well, and the grace and strength to walk away and help them in their lives, too, to become part of the strength of our country.
Please protect everyone from the evil that is working so hard to devour every innocent, faithful person but will never ultimately succeed, as Your Will shall prevail.
I made this prayer in about 2006. I prayed that the Lord turn our enemies (Taliban) plans against us around to harm them more than us. The next day the headlines read of a missile fired that was intended for our troops but turned around and exploded in the apartment from which it was fired!!!
God is REAL! God answers our prayers!
Today I must add that I ask God to turn out enemies. Plans for us against themselves!!
Please pray for my husband’s eye sight to be restored. He will be 86 years old in November. The eye specialist refused to perform the surgery because my husband has advanced and complex cataract in both eyes. He is in general good health but he can hardly see and his vision seems to deteriorate rapidly.
Thank you all.
Can you see another MD? Someone willing to take the chance/risk? If your husband is willing maybe the right Doctor would be too 🙏❤️
Please dear Heavenly Father, hear the prayers for Vimmie and for her husband, to make a way for Vimmie’s husband’s eyesight to be restored, please lead and guide them to an eye specialist who is capable of performing the procedures needed. Give them peace and strength in other areas of their lives, too, so they can concentrate on solving this as time is of the essence. 🙏
Praying for a complete and miraculous cure for your husband’s cataracts and full restoration of his eyesight. Jesus, I trust in You!
Vimmie, while my situation is different since I’m a bit younger than 86, I’m here to tell you that the Lord cured me of the beginning stages of cataracts. In my case, I think it was a combination of persistent prayer, following the eye doctor’s advice to wear sunglasses nearly all the time outside, and changing my diet due to food allergies. The cataracts simply went away. Praying for a similar miracle for your husband.
Psalms 127 3-5
32 years have passed, yet we still appreciate prayer for our broken hearts.
I Knew Robin Hood
I remember the day Robin was born. October 5th. It was a beautiful fall day, such as poets wax on about. The sun-splashed hardwoods shouted their greeting to him in celebratory colors and the sunset that evening was God’s affirmation that He was pleased with His handy-work. His parents were as happy as they had a right to be, and when Robin’s big sister held him for the first time, she could not quit smiling.
Sometime during his first year, I inadvertently called him ‘Bigs’ because of his solid muscular build. He was not necessarily big for his age, but when he gave you a hug it felt like you were hugging solid granite. The name stuck, and through the years Robin was called ‘Bigs’ though only by his elders, not even his younger brother was allowed this privilege.
It was evident even at an early age that he had been blessed with extraordinary hand-eye coordination. At first it was little things, like throwing a ball that was always on target. Or casting a fishing line with precision. When he played the game of trying to kick the ball into your opponent’s net at the far end of the field; it was as if time stood still as he raced full speed, pushing the ball ahead of him, dodging in and out of defenders until that ball tickled the back of the net again and again. His humble demeanor endeared him even to his opponents – so much so, they also cheered for him – though not as loud as the rest of us.
Thus the stage was set for what Robin’s father knew was the inevitable. And on his fifth birthday, Robin received his first bow. It was something to see. There were no awkward preliminaries. Robin simply held the bow as he had seen his father do hundreds of times — pulled, anchored, released, followed through, and grinned with delight as he watched his arrow bury into the hay bale. He dutifully walked, (no running and tripping into protruding nocks), to the bale, pulled his arrows, grasping them as his father had shown him, and dropped them point first into his homemade back quiver. What for most of us required diligent practice until the mechanics became second nature, Robin did with an ease that belied the intensity of his focus. He just looked the arrow into the target, and it always obeyed.
When Robin turned eight, his father presented him with a new Osage longbow. I can still see the smile on his face as he hugged his father with that longbow clenched tightly in one hand. Hand made silhouettes of rabbits and squirrels were perforated over and over by Robin’s arrows, and his favorite deer target was in constant need of repair.
It was rare to see him outside without his bow and his constant companion, Chandler, his brother. They roamed field and flood, stalking and killing many lions and deer, in a single outing. Milkweeds were enemy soldiers who bled white to prove your arrow true. Goldenrod was decapitated with a well-placed shot, and then carried as a trophy. Cabbage moths were hunted like so many miniature dragons, every one taken saved the queen.
Robin’s first real kill was a perfect heart shot on a woodchuck running flat out for his hole. Somehow his arrow found that tiny spot behind the chuck’s elbow. His mother and I watched it all from the dining room window – the scrambling woodchuck, the blur of Robin’s white fletched arrow, and the look on his face when he brought it to his mother for inspection.
To say Robin was loved by all that knew him would be an understatement. He led by example, and would always go the extra mile to help a friend. But something’s in life are too perfect to last, and so it was with Robin.
On February 24, 1991, at age ten and one half, Robin died of an anaphylactic asthma attack. It happened quickly, and I watched helplessly as he went away.
If anyone doubts this story, or doubts that our Christian heritage isn’t worth fighting for — or, questions the need for an ethical vision focused on traditional values; remember, there are other ‘Robins’ out there who go by the name of Billy, or Sue, or Tom.
On my honor as an archer for the kingdom of God, the story I have told you is true.
I knew Robin Hood – you see, I am his father.
Our children, our hearts – No words, just a big old hug, tons of prayers and lots of love. Thirty-Five years…In our time it seems like forever until we will be reunited again with our loved one but I have been told that in his time it will be in a blink of an eye and you will get the biggest and best hug ever when you join him for eternity. I know I can’t wait for that forever hug! A fellow Traveler ❤️
“…can’t wait for that forever hug!” Tears at the thought of it. Good tears.
Though we’ve never met, I know you through your spirit.
Forever hug. Godspeed Jesus.
Praying that the Love that overcomes time, space, and death will grant you peace.
Our family clings to the peace that passes all understanding. But sometimes our grip trembles. Thank you for your kind words and wisdom. Love does indeed overcome time, space and death; and I’ll add that truth to my quiver.
I ask the Heavenly Family for their intersession in the lives of all of our family, friends & loved ones who are inflicted with illness, injury, disability or disease. May they heal & fully recover from all their debilitations.
For President Trump & all of his family, friends, loved ones, allies, confidants & those being wrongly persecuted for J6 . Keep them safe & free from further harm or persecution & bless them, & each of us with Strength, Courage, Wisdom, Guidance, Direction, Knowledge & Intelligence.
Finally, that all corruption, greed & evil be drained from our Capital & that all those who are responsible for the Undermining, Overthrow, & Coup of PDJT & his administration be Discovered, Uncovered & held to Political, Social, Financial & Criminal accountability.
In your name we pray…

Dear Father in Heaven, please hear the prayers of Viceroygrey, that this very young child of a good friend will receive everything needed to conquer this aggressive cancer . . . please heal this child and help everyone that is helping the child. 💕🙏💕

May the Precious Blood of Christ flow through the veins of all those who were jabbed, adults, and children, to cleanse their blood and reverse any physical damage so that they will live in abundant good health.
🙏
yes, dear Jesus, please renew the bodies of these precious loved ones ❤️🙏❤️
I ask the same prayer.
I am not dealing well at all with the loss of my mother and dad recently. My mother was doing so well on immunotherapy treatments for liver cancer; it was nearly all gone and her doctor proclaimed the change was remarkable.
Out of the blue he called to tell me she had developed leukemia. She lived just 6 weeks. Six weeks later my daddy died. I know it was a broken heart. 62 years together- he could not live without her.
I cry every day and even worse is the anger I have toward siblings.
I have asked God to lift the anger from my heart but I am unable to feel any better at all.
Struggling to find my purpose. Struggling to just “be here”.
Thank you to any and all who pray.
Prayers to the many who are also struggling.
Please accept my deep condolences and prayers on the loss of both of your beloved parents. Praying that God will comfort you with His love, peace, and healing. Praying for peace between you and your siblings, for forgiveness, and for your protection and well-being. (In my case, it’s better to love certain family members from a good safe distance and just pray for them.) Praying that the Holy Spirit lead you to a life of many blessings.
Praying for you, LakeLureLife . . . ❤️🙏❤️
I’m so sorry to read this, LLL. Please know that God truly does care for you. It may take time, but if we let Him, He will heal our hurts. Remember, if you don’t quit, God won’t quit. The Lord bless you.
I am so sorry you lost both of your parents so close to one another. No matter your age, that was still your papa, and that was still your momma, and now they are gone.
And, no matter your age, siblings can still act like children.
You are dealing with those two huge losses very well, LakeLureLife. Crying every day is OK. Crying all day every day for a while is even OK if that is what you need to do. You need to feel the loss, and remember that Jesus cried, and that we, your brothers and sisters in the Lord, are told to cry with those who cry. . . because your heart is broken.
You are also dealing with whatever took place between you and your siblings that is causing you to be angry, and seem to be feeling guilty over that anger.
If I could, I’d like to ask you if you planned to be angry, or wanted to be angry? Do you want to hold anger against your siblings? Of course not, which is why you are asking God to remove those bad feelings.
But that’s all they are — feelings. God gave us emotions, and He gave us feelings. God made us in His image, and throughout the Bible we find our Father has feelings and emotions of every kind.
32 years ago I went through something similar to you; I lost my dad to cancer and 40 days later my mom committed suicide. She lost her reasoning after losing her husband. My 4 sisters thought it better to tear each other apart than love one another. A few people told me to take anti-depressants to help ease the roller coaster of emotions, but my husband told me then what I hope I am telling you in a kind way now — that your struggle and pain are real, and so are your emotions. Have them. Live in them, but do not sin because of them.
And! Most importantly, do not be around people who tell you to “get over” your grief. My sisters husband told her to get over her grief of losing both parents after 4 weeks. 4 weeks?! You take as much time as you need to grieve, and find people who will let you grieve as you need to.
I attended grief groups and learned this; when you lose a loved one to a death you were expecting you lose 15 – 25% of your self-worth (as you’re going through the stages of grief). But when you lose a loved one unexpectedly you lose up to 75% of your self-worth.
So it is no surprise that you are struggling to find your purpose, when your self-worth is probably close to zero. And no surprise that you are struggling to just “be here,” when your life is an entirely new “here.”
You will be in my heart, head, thoughts and prayers throughout this night, and as I think of your struggle and pray, please remember that you have at least one sister who is crying with you.
May God’s peace rest heavy and warm on you this night, and may His Holy Spirit accompany you every moment as He leads you through this valley. In Jesus name.
So very sorry to hear about the loss of your parents LakeLureLife.
My family will be glad to pray for you.
Please pray for the families of Francine and Dean, whose recent, untimely passings have devastated their loved ones. I pray for all those who are sick or in mourning, that they find strength, healing and peace through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Joining you in praying that the Lord will grant comfort, peace, and healing for all those mourning the loss of Francine and Dean.
I pray for President Trump, for his safety, for his tenacity and stamina in facing Democrats, Lawfare, and the justice system that they are unjustly dishing out. I pray for all Treepers and your friends to put on the armor of God and rise up to stand beside President Trump whenever and wherever needed.
Amen.

Love is the law of the universe. You are born into it then socialized out of it. Babies are in awe of everything they see and feel . They accept everyone and have have no malice towards anyone, or anything. They wake up in love with all they see. Be childlike, not childish.
I have a brother who is schizophrenic. He has been off his meds for years. He was forcibly hospitalized about fifteen years ago but the laws have been changed and it is very difficult to do that anymore. The police can see he is completely irrational but unless he assaults someone or attempts suicide they will not do anything. He is not violent but very paranoid. He lives in my mother’s basement and she is too old and in poor health to do much about it. Please pray for him to get mental help and especially for his spiritual healing. He is a very unhappy and lonely soul.
Your post really touched my heart. Please know you are not alone. I pray daily and with every Rosary, for the mentally ill. I also have lived through it, with a family member.
Praying for peace and healing for your brother and your family.
Dear Heavenly Father, please help and heal in every possible way the brother of Charles – and help their mother, too.

Make way in your heart to listen, ask for wisdom, be unafraid, and resolute, return, repent and stand tall, face forward and move. Blessings, amen.
