In what can only be compared to the prior mask dropping by conservatives when Donald Trump announced in 2015 that he would build a wall to stop illegal immigration, Matt Gaetz has triggered a similar round of revelations as New Gingrich, Hillary Clinton and Mark Levin all align against the removal of Kevin McCarthy.
The only common thread that binds all three is Ukraine and money. Funny how the personal economics of the thing always seems to surface when contrast against policy.
It appears the primary concern over the removal of Kevin McCarthy is a weakening in the likelihood that Ukraine would get an open line of unlimited credit from U.S. taxpayers. Obviously, the prepositioning of the Clinton Global Initiative and the BlackRock “green Ukraine” investment mechanism is threatened if the Ukraine conflict against Russia is not supported by U.S. finance and weapons.
Indeed, BlackRock and JPMorgan have set up the Ukraine reconstruction bank, and we can only imagine how widespread those dependent tentacles extend into the public-private halls of Congress. When the masks start dropping, it’s always the money.
Think about the U.S. political system, the funding of the UniParty apparatus by multinational financial interests, the constructs and policies that drive the DNC/RNC alignment by those same multinational financial interests, and suddenly the commonality of seemingly disparate networks comes to light. My take on Ukraine is a bit different (due respect to Sundance et. al.) When the tanks first rolled across the Ukrainian border, the entire geopolitical picture changed. What happened is that there was immediately a popular uprising of the Ukrainian people who collectively decided to resist the Russian invasion. The popular uprising in fact led the Ukrainian government. What does that actually mean? It’s simple, really. When free people decide to defend against tyranny, other free people have a moral obligation to help them defend their freedom.
It’s odd though that 3 or 4 million Ukrainians fled their country when the first tanks crossed the border

SITREP 10/4/23: The Beginning of a Long Fall for Ukraine
The U.S. House of Representatives has just removed its Speaker for the first time in history, primarily over his secret side deal with Biden to get funding to Ukraine. Some of the current options on the table for his replacement would spell disaster for Ukraine as they are all staunchly anti-funding Republicans.
The narrative is now coming fairly out into the open on both sides. In the West, top officials are actively speaking on how Putin plans to “fatigue” the West into giving up on Ukraine, while Russian officials like Medvedev are openly admitting to this fact, and stating that the West will give up on Ukraine soon.
The West has never looked weaker, not only in general, but specifically vis a vis their support for Ukraine. All of their recent attempts at portraying a unified front look increasingly hollow and desperate. The facade is literally falling apart before our very eyes, showcased most poignantly in this Sky News interview with Ukrainian MP Lesia Vasylenko, which was taken down soon after because of how inconvenient her “slip ups” were in admitting that Russia is winning the war….

We’re apples and oranges with Rome on many levels, and societal change seems to occur exponentially faster in modern times. Whether that means that life will look and feel very different in 5, 50, or 500 years?…I honestly have no idea…

If Biden built 100 miles of New Wall (which actually worked) it would protect ~5% of the total.

Newt is a fascinating study being that he is the only one of the three that served in the House and was its Speaker. I think he longs for the old style Speakership, i.e. a benign dictatorship.
