Part of what I do is trying to get wind of what the regulators are planning on hatching that could adversely affect my business and then sharing such insights with others who have a stronger voice with regulators than I do.

Well, I’ve been up since before the sun came up having been awakened by yet another Emergency Text From the PA State Police letting me know the escaped convicted murderer is still on the run and believed to be in our immediate vicinity. He’s done at least one residential burglary since he got away five days ago.
I’m sitting on my deck, drinking coffee and watching the helicopters fly a grid pattern. Wife is nervous and widow across the street is in a panic.
Story has made national news. Escapee was pending a murder rap in Brazil – so he boogies, saunters into the USA without being challenged, hooks up with a chick in this PA county, stabs her to death in front of her kids, is convicted and has now escaped.
Joe Biden (and the destructive filth who are actually running this fuster cluck) did that.

IMO, the reason we/US finds ourselves sucked so far into this triangle is because on a personal level, *so many people* have been (deliberately, systematically) conditioned to engage & function dependent on these roles in early life – *fish don’t see the water* and so we swim in it as it gets thicker & thicker without noticing that – as life gets more difficult – just doing more of what we’ve been taught is the cause of it worsening… because we were taught “it’s normal” to be in the drama triangle.

I was standing in queue at the grocery, and I needed to step aside to ask a clerk (adjacent but not serving customers) a quick yes/no question… the woman behind me got indignant and told me quite forcefully that I “should say ‘Excuse me’ when entering someone’s ‘personal space’!” HA! we’re in a queue like sardines and I moved 2 steps out laterally & back in again without touching anyone else including her – not exaggerating.
I was *amused* so I smiled – I said I didn’t need her to move out of my way to keep from bumping into her and I was careful not to, Thanks; I’m still smiling. She did not like that she bristled…
*but she didn’t have a rebuttal so she quieted herself*
(standing my ground IN the plain Truth – *seeing it clearly* and refusing to agree to take on the role of victim to her persecutor/passive-aggressive bully – shut her up AND down). The first amendment right to speak encompasses a first amendment right to listen to a speaker.
There’s no way that the Treehouse can be shut down while the rest of the internet stays up without some government involvement at some level. Whether that is the backdoor way the CDC and the FBI were operating to shut down information about Hunter’s laptop and Ivermectin on Twitter, or a direct order from DHS in the name of national security, any interference with the Treehouse is a violation not just of Sundance’s rights, but all of our rights to hear him.
Even better, lawfare it. We have Treepers in probably every single federal district in all 50 states. If the Treehouse were to be shut down, then if every Treeper joined a local team to bring suit for violation of 1st Amendment rights in the US District Court for the ___ern District of ___, the DOJ would be forced to file Answers and defend actions in at least 100 courts, all at once. If every single action went through motions to dismiss, at least a few would survive to discovery, and it would be the equivalent of a drone assault- at least some actions would not only get through to discovery but also perhaps get to injunctions. Missouri v Biden already led the way, breached the walls, and secured a lot of evidence.
A single template Complaint, set of Interrogatories, and Requests for Production of Documents would cut the individual costs of pursuing the action. If a Treeper was unable to find counsel, go pro se.
All of which would shift the battle from Sundance having to bear the burden to the DOJ having to defend against the equivalent of a hornet’s nest (historical reference intended in this 2nd American Revolution).

Can we still type an IP address into the URL bar, like back in the olden days before domain name servers (DNS) or do browsers not understand that any more?
IF YES
How do we use our browser to determine the old-style numerical address for any of our favorite sites? I don’t see an option in any of my browsers called “Show site address”.
I would guess that They would first direct the DNS to redirect “theconservativetreehouse.com” to 404, and that knowing the actual number address *behind* that domain name would be a workaround.
Time is short, so it’d be cool if we all knew the answers to these questions ASAP.
I only know barely enough to say that “in theory” all one needs is an IP address to access the content of a website with a browser. But in practice, it is more complicated for some practical reasons.
In the future that is looming, messing around with DNS (name servers) to keep us from mapping a url to an IP address, is likely going to be only temporary annoyance. The future will probably be that only entities aligned with the State will get urls and IP-addresses. Sundance often links us to the article about the DoD buying up most of the unused IP addresses.
The Internet is becoming a modern day Tower of Babel. My opinion is that it will eventually become saturated with liars, grifters and crooks with ever more elaborate schemes to dupe the gullible. It will then become totally useless except as a vehicle to provide the masses with endless diversion from their enslavement.
The few sane and cognizant people that are left will have to communicate face to face or not at all.
We’ve derided masks as impeding the development of our children by preventing them from learning to read facial expressions. All the while we carry on endless “conversations” with avatars.
Humanity has lost something incrementally important with the advent of the internet. The convenience it provides now will soon deteriorate into just another vehicle for fraud. What then?
I really don’t see any future in mankind’s grand communication system except chaos which is more evident every day. But sadly, there doesn’t seem to be a solution or a way out. Even family relationships have been forever changed by our grand invention. Children no longer care to play outside, hang out with their peers or experience the real world in any way. Their world, their friendships, their entertainment is all virtual and contained in a tiny screen, one that doesn’t contain any sensory experience with touch, smell or taste. What a handicapped group of human beings we’re producing! Adults have lost the ability to concentrate on anything that isn’t abbreviated tweet style. Even face to face conversations are sometimes rudely interrupted by “alerts” and the little device that emits them usually takes precedence over those actually present. We’re constantly bombarded with urgent messages about things that are happening many miles away from us while we know little or nothing about the troubles and trials of our nearest neighbors or how we might help them.
Yes, our ability to communicate with each other can and is being cut off even now. Can we still call ourselves a free nation? I think not. But our chains are of our own invention.
Thoughtful post Aleya2. I have 4 children; one daughter has been impaired by her reliance on social media, etc. I pray regularly for help and guidance from God. The internet, among other destructive forces, has made life tough on our children today. Face to face interactions occur much less frequently.

Term limits are proposed as a solution to a problem. The presumption is that, once elected, politicians, have some level of self-determination and use their power and taxpayer money, to get themselves re-elected. The presumption is partially true, but fundamentally false.
The reality is that government is run and controlled from those in the shadows. They identify, compromise, and groom candidates with cooperation from the Party machines. Because they control the party machines and the ballot box, they ensure their candidates get elected.
Once elected the politicians do not control or run government. Politicians are controlled from the shadows and policies dictated from the shadows. They are implemented by a permanent class of bureaucrats.
Should a candidate get through this gauntlet they are surrounded and marginalized until they can be replaced. Term limits do not solve the essential problem of an unelected shadow government. They are however a very clever distraction.

Good advice and I’ve been testing this the past few years running different communication devices and challenging the enemy and seeing how they respond. So far it’s remained in the realm of economic warfare but the information is good for kinetic operations too.

My sweet 13 year old great nephew Liam has intractable seizures. He suffers from Dravet Syndrome. In addition to major seizures, Liam also has those mini seizures where he just stares into space. By the way, any prayers you could send for Liam would be greatly appreciated. He is having a rough time this week.
I do not know if you believe in saints as intercessors to show one’s humility before God in a prayer: the Catholic Church has more than a few saints connected to seizures, starting with Saint Paul.
Saint Valentine (yes, the Love saint) is also connected to epilepsy and similar diseases.
Saint Bibiana, an early Italian saint, has a church in Italy, where herbs used to treat seizures were grown in Medieval Times.
Many prayerful people are here at The Conservative Treehouse, so I am sure we will have a good number of prayers today for Liam.

Re: HAM, Amateur Radio, and survival during emergencies, disasters, and political unrest. My hubby and I have been HAMs most of our adult life. I thought readers might be interested in the importance of this kind of communication, especially in this political and economic situation and future.
This is NOT CB radio. HAM radio requires tests and licensing for certain frequencies by the FCC. When we got our Extra Class licenses, Morse Code was required, 13 words per minutes, send and receive, at the time I got my license. I don’t think any Morse Code is required today. There are five levels of licensing, each with different capabilities for frequency uses.
We lived in Hawaii when a terrible hurricane came through. The ONLY communication with the mainland USA was HAM radio. We had make-shift antennas run up a pine tree in our back yard, and ‘ladder line’ made with tongue depressors and wire (my hubby is, was, a Navy doctor stationed at Pearl Harbor and Barboers Point and did a stint on Midway Island
Over the years we have trained, taught classes, and even given tests for the FCC. He set up a ‘station’ at the local hospital of emergency use and also at the EMS.

i have looked into it off and on and the hobby (beyond the actual need at some point) has fascinated me for a long time… but frankly, there is no way i am going to submit to “licensing” by an illegitimate government.
That is the hold back for many, the involvement of the FCC.
we’ve had most of our attention on the FBI and NAZCIA and ATF lately… but the FCC is a particularly heinous and illegitimate agency that should be removed, along with the other fascists stated herein.
One can become proficient with the technology without being licensed, just like one can become proficient with driving a vehicle without a license. It’s a matter of where, when and how and IMO it’s much easier with radio than with a vehicle to do such. I got interested in it in the 60’s building crystal radios and later amateur transceivers.
In SHTF and war it’s proficiency and effectiveness which matter, not a license. IMO, don’t let the enemy cow you into a narrow range of thought and action. They’re only human and go to God just like we do. Remember.

When Saddam invaded Kuwait a HAM in Kuwait was the source of much valuable intel to the US, via HAM transmissions. Risking his own life he continued to transmit. I’m guessing HAMS around the world would continue as long as they possibly can. There are probably ways…
Where it matters, locally, we communicate, as test/practice, by GMRS, CB, and other specific radio; I’m personally learning more about old tech like RTTY and packet wireless as alternatives in peer to peer ‘internet’.
I can see how wider communication, particularly anonymous communication like such shared on this forum, can be problematical. However, if things get so bad that this fine forum is cut off, IMO it’s better to focus locally and on local and regional direct threats, not political/social discussion.

As a licensed Advanced Class Amateur Radio Operator, I have created the ability to send and receive high frequency transmissions worldwide using only solar power and a battery. I have concerns about EMP destruction of electronics so I keep my equipment located in inexpensive “Faraday cages” to prevent such damage. You can use aluminum foil and even large metal garbage cans for this purpose. I have built my own vertical loop antenna and ladder line out of inexpensive materials. Ham radio has always been a place to learn and innovate communications. In an emergency, you could be cut off from ALL forms of modern communication. You could be thrust back into the dark ages in seconds and be stuck that way for an indefinite period of time. You would have no contact with relatives or friends and have no idea what is taking place beyond your immediate field of vision.
We have always had battery back up. Solar is interesting, I don’t know anyone personally who had done that in our group of friends. There is a big ‘contest’ this weekend. My hubby will be on top of Mt. Nebo Arkansas with friends. With people we know the hobby doesn’t seem to be catching on with the younger people. I’m not sure if people exchange QSL cards like they did in the past. The one my hubby had made for his stint on Midway Island had goonie birds on it, everybody wanted that contact just for the fun of it.

German car industry issues energy-price warning
The future of Germany’s car production is at risk due to “toxic” energy prices, the president of the Association of the Automotive Industry, Hildegard Muller, has warned.
The latest survey by the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry showed that more than half of German companies have lost confidence in the country’s energy policy and believe that the transition toward renewables and away from Russian gas will harm their businesses.
The research also showed that the number of companies considering leaving the country is on the rise. Almost one-third of industrial enterprises are planning to relocate production abroad or to reduce domestic output.

Around 15 years ago I was in the development of a technology used in the auto manufacturing market. Our customers were automation and production engineers building/updating auto plants, so we worked closely together in training/application.
One evening, over food and beer with a group of German car maker’s engineers, we hit upon the sore subject of them building new car plants in China. One of them dropped his guard, and became aggravated telling us about a recent visit to China. He was back there a year after commissioning a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant. In that year the Chinese had replicated all their core technology and were building cars of their own. Back in Germany he started complaining but was “advised” to forget about it.
I asked him what he learned inside his company. He said if they do not share the core manufacturing with China they lose global market share. I will never forget that conversation because it is what got me thinking about who exactly could control such dynamics at a global level.

Somewhat related as it involves ICE vehicles vs electric vehicles, I was recently in northern California (Mt. Shasta area). It is so incredibly beautiful up that way. In the towns we went through, we did not see million dollar mansions as one does along the coast. Instead, we saw modest houses and well-used cars. Gasoline hovered around the $5.40/gallon mark. We did not see any electric vehicle charging stations. In fact, we saw almost no electric vehicles. This is an area of the US that gets a lot of snow (typical aggregate of >6′) and has a lot of dirt roads. Most people have vehicles with high ground clearance and many are 4WD. As I’ve read elsewhere, the push for electric vehicles which includes high gas prices sure seems to particularly penalize the hardworking rural resident where EVs, expensive in themselves, are impractical and distances between towns/services are significant.
Out here in rural/farming area no one buys EVs. They are impractical either for work, local travel or for those who have to commute to nearby cities for jobs.
As a side note….our country roads are attractive to bicycle riders who transport in their bikes 3o-60 miles, meet up, and ride in gangs – very aggressively to keep cars from passing them. I always know to be on the look out early Saturday or Sunday because it is the only time I see Teslas on the road – spotting and running cover for them.
IF someone lives their whole lives in a MEGA City area, I think its far easier to be fooled by the whole “overpopulation, humans are ruining the planet” crap, than it is if you live in a rural area.

I don’t think I’ve see an EV in a local driveway- now that you mention it.
They do have a fast charger in Lassen Volcanic National Park and I see a few there.
But it’s only a couple on the whole drive and nothing like SF Bay Area where it seems like Tesla are 1/4 of the cars.
LBC, I hear you. From Shasta, we drove through Lassen to Truckee/Tahoe City. Again, this is such a stunningly beautiful area, but the contrast from Mt. Shasta to Tahoe was significant. I don’t think I’ve seen so many ebikes in one place as in Truckee. And there were many Teslas passing through town, though the early morning traffic which I equate to local folks getting to work was all pickup truck and SUV.

As a tax assessor I used to wear a greenish jacket and a hat with a little emblem and my nametag and people would answer the door thinking I was delivering packages. Funny.
I also had a green working mans jacket with lots of pockets and a military/ natural resources look that along with the same hat and name tag allowed me to walk into someones yard and look at stuff while they sat in the house and ignored me.
During my time as a real estate appraiser I could put on a colorful vest, name tag, carry a clipboard, and could walk into most any new construction without anyone even asking what I was doing. They thought I was a city inspector when they did ask, so nobody wanted to talk to me.
It is interesting that if you look like you are busy and have high visibility, nobody cares or looks the other way, but if you wear normal clothes and ask permission you’ll get thrown off a site.

It is my sense that nearly all of us, who before the lockdowns lived in what’s considered a free nation, saw the same iron fist of authoritarianism at some level in their mind. Conscious or subconscious.

It is not a “rebound” if you get Covid again after taking Paxlovid. It is a “relapse.” Rebound is when you return to your normal state of being. For example, if you normally have anxiety, and you receive treatment for anxiety that works for awhile, but then your anxiety returns, that is called “rebound anxiety.” You are returning to what for you is a normal state of feeling anxious. If, on the other hand, you have a virus, and you receive treatment for that virus that temporarily works, but then the virus returns, that is called a RELAPSE. The terminology is important. They are using the word rebound to make it sound less like a failure of the treatment and more like just a normal state of being chronically sick with a virus. It is a subtle difference, but it is actually huge in terms of the impact on public perception. They are trying to make people accept the failure of the drug as something normal and not to be concerned about.

I. The Empire Strikes Back
Paxton has been a royal pain in the ass to the Texas Republican machine, which remains deeply influenced by big oil and neocon money, as well as the Bush political dynasty. Americans, including Texans, hate political dynasties, and this fact was well demonstrated when Paxton defeated George P. Bush for the Attorney General nomination in 2022 in a blowout exceeding a 2:1 margin, then went on to win a third consecutive term in the General Election against standard Democrat fodder.
Greg Abbott, the third-term Governor who has ridden the populist and establishment fence for the last five years, at minimum, has had little to say in defense of Paxton (to his credit, Lt. Governor Dan Patrick has been vocally supportive of Paxton), and appears to have looked the other way as the Texas House, led by a repulsive weasel named Dade Phelan, waged war on Texas’s duly-elected top lawman. Paxton was torpedoed just days after calling for Phelan to resign as Speaker for manning his post while either completely trashed, mentally impaired, or under the influence of some other substance, which likely came from across the porous southern border most Texas Republicans refuse to take seriously.
ll Payback and Protection of the Sacred Elections Cow
I did not hire President Trump to be my pastor, and I didn’t hire Ken Paxton for that role, either. While I’m confident plenty of political chaff can be found that would dim Paxton’s star, he is the most serious Attorney General of a major state when it comes to the reality of election manipulation that is destroying our nation and has continued to discuss this with plenty of eyeballs on him. Paxton won many lawsuits in the run-up to the 2020 election, which prevented Texas from delivering the same pathetic result that continues to be defended in Georgia.
Paxton’s office is responsible for the lawsuit Texas v. Pennsylvania, which was filed with the U.S. Supreme Court while President Trump was still in office, and after the 2020 quasi-election had been certified in all states. The case alleged that Pennsylvania’s maladministration of its own election, causing Joe Biden to carry its 20 electoral votes, disenfranchised Texas’s 38 electors, and made any potential proceedings a matter of equal protection under the law. The case was a masterpiece, and 20 other Attorneys General signed on; unfortunately, the Supreme Court didn’t have the guts to take it up and dismissed it for lack of standing (don’t blame Clarence Thomas).
While President Trump still carried Texas, he did so by a drastically reduced margin from what appears to be an easy win with a double-digits margin. I believe, thanks to Paxton’s efforts, that Texas stayed in the Republican column because some integrity regarding mail-in balloting was preserved, unlike in the Peach State. But it wasn’t supposed to, and that brings me to a third and final point:
III. Guarding the Narrative
Florida is long gone and has sailed off into the MAGA sunset. Trump outpolls Ron DeSantis in a hypothetical General Election there, and it’s becoming impossible for Democrats to hold Pennsylvania or Michigan by legitimate means due to the crossover of non-college white voters to support America First candidates in those states with stagnant or declining populations. Future election steals in those two states, especially Pennsylvania, will be about as believable as Democrats swiping South Dakota. Working class Latinos and populist conservatives would have, by now, also put Arizona and Nevada firmly into the MAGA column if not for the open manipulation in the former, and the legal enshrinement of said manipulation in the latter. Minnesota, like Nevada, is not even worth contesting in 2024 because of the legal reforms pertaining to that corrupt state’s elections.
This crumbling Democrat coalition requires new blood, and blood with a high content of electoral votes. Enter Georgia and Texas. Yes, Joe Biden lost Texas in 2020, but had almost 600,000 more votes than Trump won Texas with in 2016, with the standard Republican cycle-to-cycle gain since 2004 hovering around 100,000. No Democrat had ever garnered four million popular votes in any Texas presidential election, but Biden not only did the trick, but went a quarter-million over five million. It appears to these analytical eyes that Trump was supposed to lose Texas as the big surprise in 2020, which would have crippled the election integrity movement from Day One. Can you imagine me showing up in Wisconsin trying to say Trump should have won it, when Texas sits shaded in that disgusting pale blue shade at the southern end of our electoral map?
Paxton’s impeachment circus, though it will likely end with him acquitted, will give fodder to the narrative that Texas is changing (it is, but not in the way the media claims), and that “former Republicans” are moderating their views to accommodate climate change, borders, and rapid urbanization (88% of the vote in Texas comes from urban or suburban voters), which is intended to support the (artificial) bluing of Texas. “See, Republicans have had enough of Trumpism and are holding Ken Paxton accountable,” they will claim; meanwhile, this author believes Texas is the second most vulnerable Trump-won state for 2024, behind only North Carolina, and one that must not be taken for granted, either now or in the very near future as the battle for America rages on.
Conclusion
Nothing is ever as it appears on the surface, and that goes for the Paxton impeachment proceedings. Many of the alleged violations have already been shoved aside and debunked, and just because something may be immoral or reflect on the humanity of an individual, it doesn’t make it an impeachable offense that must put a stop to the political proceedings of the people. Buckle up, get serious about Texas, and make sure you do your own research.

Ken Paxton was one of the most active and vocal Attorney Generals in the nation. Chris Turner, the chairman of the Democrat Caucus, called for his impeachment over it.
The Texas Senate has shied away from empowering Democrats and focused instead on passing a myriad of conservative policies, most of which were killed in the Texas House. (RINO Dade Phelan is Speaker of the House.)
Following this legislative session, Dan Patrick rightfully criticized Dade Phelan for running his chamber in a way that intentionally benefits the Democrat agenda.
The liberal media hates Dan Patrick and the conservative Senators that are pushing Texas to the right. They have begun an all-out assault on the chamber in an effort to declare anything short of impeachment a corrupt conclusion. They are gaslighting the upper chamber, in a final effort to take some amount of power back into more moderate GOP hands.
This is the final play in the playbook for the dying vestiges of RINO legislators who have shared power with Democrats for a generation. Ultimately, they have to overturn election results. When the GOP voters turn on the establishment, and elect officials too conservative for them, they have to get rid of the opposition. Their only path is to team up with Democrats to keep their power.
Now voters are speaking out aggressively. The Texas GOP is standing up against this sham impeachment, with many local Republican parties stepping up as well. Conservative activists and groups are calling out this charade and the people of Texas are increasingly upset.
If this impeachment is upheld in the Texas Senate, it will be the spark that ignites a bigger civil war than anything witnessed during the Tea Party battles in 2010. It will be a true revolt of patriots versus a uniparty system that seeks only its own survival, at the expense of the society it was meant to serve.
