A frustrated Arizona Democrat Secretary of State, Adrian Fontes, announced he does not have legal authority to block President Trump from the ballot.
Mr. Fontes says he would do it if he could and calls the laws governing his inability “stupid.” SoS Fontes is big mad.
(Via The Hill) – Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes (D) said he does not have the ability to bar former President Donald Trump from running for president in his state Wednesday.
There have been calls to bar the former president from being able to run in 2024 related to language in the 14th amendment where it states those who “have engaged in insurrection or rebellion” against the government cannot hold office. Fontes said despite those claims, he cannot do so by way of a previous Arizona Supreme Court case.
“Now, the Arizona Supreme Court said that because there’s no statutory process in federal law to enforce Section 3 of the 14th amendment, you can’t enforce it,” Fontes said on “The Gaggle” podcast by The Arizona Republic and azcentral.com.
“That’s what the Arizona Supreme Court said, so that’s the state of the law in Arizona. Now, do I agree with that? No, that’s stupid,” Fontes continued.
Fontes said despite his dislike of what the Arizona Supreme Court has decided, he will still follow it because it is Arizona law.
“What I’m saying is I’m going to follow the law,” Fontes said. “And the law in Arizona is what the law in Arizona is. Whether I like it or not, is irrelevant.” (link)
Simple fact is they are going to cheat, so they don’t need to keep his name of the ballot. But they may send out ballots that won’t fit the printer. Not that there’s a problem with that . . .

Poll watchers need to call the police and file complaints if they are blocked. Drop boxes need to be monitored by conservative groups (with video cameras)night and day. Vote counting places need to be monitored all night, and if they open again observers called and placed back in facilities. Complaints must be filed with the police with all evidence that can be gathered.
The Republicans should start court hearings early to prevent late ballots, ballot curing, ballot dumps, accepting late mail in ballots and other cheating methods. The GOP also needs to start registering in conservative districts.

The problem that the Democrats face is huge. Realistically MAGA now represents a significant majority of the legally registered US electorate. If DJT supporters vote in person at polling locations and shun mail-in ballots, the Democrats (1) will have no numbers in advance to calculate needed fraudulent ballots to overcome a deficit that fits the local demographic voting profile that previously subtly hides cheating and (2) will not be able to print up or deliver, without raising the cheating red flag, the very large number of fraudulent ballots to overcome the deficit that they will face. Of course this assumes MAGA poll, drop box and delivery point watchers with cameras to record everything. Note, this doesn’t mean that Democrats won’t try to cheat. MAGA just needs to be smarter and more proactive.
That was the plan in AZ in 2022, but the evil left made sure that the machines would malfunction on election day, especially in heavily conservative areas.
Don’t forget: (1) Many voters participated in early voting and mail in ballots, (2) they had drop off boxes all over Phoenix and that the Maricopa County Sheriff petitioned the courts to remove observers and (3) there was machine counting. Eliminate the aforementioned and it becomes more difficult and more visible to cheat.
Section 3 of the 14th Amendment does not mention the office of the President. The only title mentioned that is related to the office is Presidential electors. Any attempt to use it to disqualify Trump is doomed to fail if the plain language of the Section is followed. We are in a post law banana republic, however, so black letter law is not an impediment to what the Uniparty wants to do.
I used to think, recently, that we’d even see ballots printed on construction paper filled in with colored chalk but not anymore. With the additional 10-15mil new arrivals, all getting some type of registration, the need to cheat is lessened dramatically.
Its the insurrection bullshit charge that will begin to do damage.
The tag of being a felon, at the least, will cause the Dems, the RINOs and the Trump Haters to coalesce around that one goal.
