That’s seems like an exaggeration! From the look it was just some storage tanks and not the refinery itself. My guess is the refinery will shut down for maintenance and until the storage tanks that burned are removed and replaced. Expect gasoline and diesel costs to go up even further. We haven’t built a new major refinery since I believe 1978!!!

Remember, appelate Courts, all the way up to SCOTUS, DO NOT re-litigate the original trial.
They examine the COURT RECORD of the original trial, specifically defendants motions, BASED ON the original trial record.
However, appeals Courts have broad latitude; they can order a retrial, dismiss with prejudice, order the lower Court to hear arguments it initially dismissed (as recently happened with KL’s trial).
Point is, some court watchers may criticise PDJT’s legal team, for not advancing arguments they think they should, if they don’t understand this strategy.

I called the GA “Republican” party and left a message. Said, if Trump is not on the 2024 ballot, we are going to make the California GOP look like a stronghold compared to the national GOP. It’s sad, but the GOP will just need to be dissolved (made sure i did not say destroyed). I said Trump had the biggest most diverse electorate and you didnt want it. The GOP could have had decades of undisputed power, but you didnt want it because you didnt like one guy because your pockets wouldn’t be lined anymore. The GOP will be lucky to get 40% if he isn’t on the ballot. Not because more demonrats voted, but Republicans stayed home.
So if Trump not on the ballot, what is the over/under on how many votes errrr ballots the GOPrick RINOrats will have to manufacture to make the race look competitive……and of course lose? 20 million? 30 million?
I have called Kemp’s office and a the office of a few others with the same message: your party is dead if you do this.
I reminded them that when we don’t vote, they will also lose state legislatures as well as federal offices.

States keeping his name off the ballot is going to be interesting, as I don’t know there is any legal precedent for it.
The SoS, ‘normally’ accepts a letter from each National Party Chair, ‘certifying’ so and so is the parties nominee, that they are qualified, and requesting their name be put on the ballot.
On the other hand, the Constitution says STATE LEGISLATURES detirmin the time, place and “manner” of elections,…so does deciding who isand isn’t onthe ballot, a decision for the SoS, or the Legislature?
Assuming the RNC blinks, and after being dragged kicking and screaming, DOES give PDJT the nomination, so then Rhonda sendsthe letter to all50 State SoS’s, are those SoS’s going to “over rule” the party?
Especially since they would be doing EXACTLY what the party WANTED them to do.

I retired 15 years ago from major airline as a flight attendant and theft by the employees was main reason for going cashless. Some of our long haul flights we would sell 1000.00 to 1500.00 dollars on movies ,liquor and food. When I started flying in 1979 you where told you never leave airport with cash envelope but as the years went by I noticed a lot of flight attendants in charge not abiding by that rule. I was told by management that company was losing millions of dollars.
I’m not buying that explanation. I think that it is more along the lines of doing what the Digital Currency Cabal wants to have happen.

Here is a hometown example:
During the Trump presidency, the strip malls were full of new businesses, including franchisees. Business was brisk and enthusiasm abounding.
In the “Biden” presidency, all of the strip mall tenants have closed shop, the owners’ dreams no doubt dashed, and owners in debt.
In place of the start-ups and franchises, there are dialysis firms (popular with hedge funds), cell phone firms, and gyms.
I can’t think of many things more depressing than seeing diabetes as an opportunity growth industry. The business model for middle America towns seems to involve feeding people crap food, fattening them up, and harvesting their income via medical fees and services. It’s always been that way in the inner cities, but now it’s come to middle America.
What do you see in your hometowns?
Crime up. We just had a murder occur in daylight in the parking lot of our favorite restaurant (west Houston region).
Homelessness up. Seems like every major intersection have people on crutches, or in wheelchairs or some other situation holding up signs asking for money.
Illegal population up. Try to park in a Home Depot or Lowes without seeing these men hanging out in the shade along the lot. Used to be a few. Now, it typically numbers 20-40 per parking lot.
Driving safety down. Am not sure where all the police and deputies have gone, but speed racers are more common now than ever. Since COVID, it seems.
That’s my city. We’ve already bought property in a small town and will be moving there soon. After 30 years, adios Houston.
You may just turn that small town into a big town. We moved from a once small, now booming bedroom community in the Fort Worth area to a tiny Texas town. No grocery store, just a bank a gas station and a small saloon. Existing neighbors seem to see us as driving up their real estate taxes, They are not terribly welcoming. We’re just glad its still a very small town. Too many of us moving to get away from it all, will ruin these small towns.

Grocery store prices are ridiculous! I generally shop sales, coupons, BOGOs. We eat out RARELY, but the last time I got fast-food chicken, it was up $4 for the 3-piece meal! I have noticed that Kroger is trying to become more competitive with Publix, specifically on sales items. We here in Tennessee are almost one month in on our 3-month no sales tax on food; so you know the prices of Sundry items are through the roof…Tennessee wants that sales tax! 🤣. I avoid mall areas as much as possible; so haven’t a clue how they’re doing. Gasoline is over $4 a gallon…I buy non-ethanol. I also have started making our 10-month old puppy her food…marked down meat at Kroger, frozen veggies on sale. It’s better for them

I represented Harrison Floyd in the hoax J6 case brought by Jack Smith. In case you didn’t know, Harrison Floyd is one of 19 defendants who has been victimized by Fani Willis, a Democrat prosecutor bent on advancing her political career. Harrison voluntarily flew to Georgia and voluntarily turned himself in to the police. However, unlike all of the other Defendants, Harrison is the only black defendant and the only one who hasn’t been released. He couldn’t afford a Georgia attorney and when he asked he was denied a lawyer.
Harrison is also a veteran of America’s finest–the United States Marine Corp. He is a disabled vet and lives off that pension. For him to be treated this way is a travesty.
Fani will say he should have called her in advance to work out a bond. But that’s what these white Democrats want her to say. She is weak. She knows he’s a strong black man who was a Director of Black Voices for Trump. Harrison told me that if she were a strong black woman, “she’d try to lift up a strong black man, not tear him down.”
Harrison is innocent. There is no victim here in this fake case being brought by Fani. Harrison shouldn’t have to post any bond whatsoever. After all, how can he be a flight risk when he voluntarily turned himself in.
There’s a lot more to Harrison’s story and we’ll be posting more soon. Harrison does not have the resources to hire an attorney to fight a case such as this. Please help in any amount that you can to assist in his legal defense and get him out on bond. His wife and two year old daughter are very worried about him at the moment and want him home.

Excuse me for asking for about the 500th time – President Trump , was of course, President of the United States on January 6 , 2021 – how can any President be indicted for an alleged criminal offense supposedly committed by him while he was President ? I have a relatively simple J6 case that was indicted in late March.
The Trump indictment came more than 4 months later.
We had a status hearing in my case very recently.
We are talking about March and April 2024 trial dates for that case.
So I get a year between indictment and trial in a one-defendant relatively straight-forward J6 case.
And Trump gets 8 months in a case with 12 million pages of discovery and well over 100 witnesses.

The trial shouldn’t be scheduled until 2025 at the earliest. Typically a complex white collar trial with over dozen defendants including attorneys will take two to three years after arraignment for a trial. This is deliberate so President Trump is quickly convicted prior to the election!
There is NO WAY that President Trump will be acquitted!!! In Washington DC there hasn’t been a single January 6th defendant found NOT GUILTY or had the charges dismissed out of thousands of cases!
