Also, if you really are concerned, you can implement a firewall with two routers. You could configure it so that stuff like Netflix goes through with no delay, but everything else takes a 1ms delay as the “inner router” initiates the transmissions via a polling request. The outer router operates asynchronously with its WAN interface.

The most likely first line of widespread censorship would probably be requesting/coercing as many companies with big DNS servers (the ones that tell your browser what the numerical address of any given website name is) to simply black hole sites they don’t like. Since most consumers get their results from the DNS servers of their ISP or other huge tech companies like Goolag, Comcast, Cloudflare, your mobile data provider, most of those companies will cheerfully go along with the censorship request.
Most VPN companies use their own DNS so it’s harder to spy on you, and some of the more liberty minded ones probably won’t cooperate.
It’s also possible at least on Windows (the only platform where I’m familiar with how to do it) to manually edit a file called hosts to “hardwire” certain domains to a certain IP address (search for how to edit windows hosts file)
Should things go funky with CTH’s DNS listings, Sundance or any staff might be able to help by posting the server IP addresses on other social media, and watch the “how to get to CTH despite the censorship” guides pop up all over.

Doing actual service in that church has rekindled my optimism that God is still on His throne, Jesus is the way to salvation and The Holy Spirit is the Comforter in times such as these.

Wondering how many treepers are actually here…thousands? tens of thousands? A campaign of forwarding on a specific date? Thinking how to expose and manipulate those who would shut down truth to fit their sick narrative(s)…for those who use twitter, it would expose their censorship very quickly. Reddit has always been a lefty org…I pass on that one. A list of those sites which censor would be helpful.
Assume ALL of them censor, then develop a list of those who you can prove do not. You will have a much shorter list that way.
Could an innocuos comment like a first one in an article, “like” this one, be “liked” by every single visitor reader? Is there a limit to likes? Or, does the Treehouse automagically count when we open up an article?

Thank you Sundance, for all that you do. Stumbled onto this site during the pandemic, when the pressure was astronomical, praying for guidance and this site came to me. You helped cement my decision to remain steadfastly un-shotted and there will never be enough thanks for that. As a Canadian, I also read this site every morning. We are so closely entertwined.

In addition to problems accessing Sidney Powell’s “Defending the Republic” blog, I am now also getting error messages when I try to load ZeroHedge’s daily newsletter. MS Outlook pops up a screen telling me that the “DNS server must be reset”. When I click “reload” ZH appears.
Question: Does resetting the DNS server mean that my visit to the dangerous ZH articles has just been rerouted thru a government server, and logged as a strike against my social credit score?
Geek FYI: The “DNS server,” technically, is the “Domain Name Server” which resolves URLs such as “theconservativetreehouse.com” into one of the IP-addresses (“telephone numbers”) of the servers which actually provide it. There is an interconnected network of them all over the world. While malfunctions of this layer are obviously rare, they can occur from time to time and are usually quite transient. Requests are “distributed,” so when you click “reload” your request might be routed to a different DNS server that doesn’t need to be reset.
You be better served to drop Microsoft’s Outlook as your email.
Even Google’s Gmail is better for the time being.
However, Duck Duck Go provides an email address that eliminates trackers & other nonsense BEFORE delivering your email to you. DDG also provides a free VPN.
Use an old version that is not cloud based and you’ll be fine. For the life of me I don’t understand why people are so willing to put all their personal info into a system that is not needed. One of the reasons for the cloud was to provide more power/storage for any number of tasks. Now that computers have massive MAGAbytes why would you need a cloud hovering over you blocking sunlight?

I do not have near the information resources that CTH has. I believe the only way I have learned about any of the Constitutionally subversive behavior in the DC Swamp has been from reading the postings and comments on this site. I am an idealistic supporter of our Constitution. I get most of my information about the Federal Government here. They are a complete mess and it is disheartening to think this is what has become of our Republic. Thank you for what you guys always do to keep me informed.
