Suddenly, short on cash and with demands to move himself to the UniParty center – away from the unwashed working class inside the Republican Party – DeSantis’ only option is now to try and steal some donors and votes from the Christie, Pence, Haley and Scott wing of the acceptable Republican Party.

Theoretically, one donates money to support a candidate whose platform aligns with one’s own goals. That’s how the donation process is SUPPOSED to work.
In THIS case, it appears that money is being donated with intent to influence and alter a platform. That’s basically just using wealth to purchase a candidate and get that candidate to abandon those who supported the original platform. This is NOT how the donation process is supposed to work, as it merely fleeces the original donors and supporters out of the original support and donations that got the candidate started.
This essentially perpetrates a FRAUD on the original supporters and donors, and SHOULD be a warning sign that, if elected, the candidate will likely shift positions AGAIN, throwing donors and supporters that got him or her elected under the bus to serve the needs of some yet-to-be identified mega-donors.
