I love Thomas Jefferson. If you ever go to DC go to the Jefferson Monument. I was there 4 or 5 years ago and went to all the monuments. The Jefferson Monument is the one I will never forget…I walked up the steps into that dome and when I got inside in front of the statue of Jefferson I had chills up and down my spine. It is incredibly powerful.

And life is full of surprises😃. All of humanity is connected in ways most people do not know. Back then I had not had any DNA tests done. Then I had two done. One of them (the Genographic Project) connected me to many historical characters from all over the planet (they were like the old western movie-The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly🤣). Not a descendant of them, but genetic cousins (thousands of years ago had a common ancestor with each one of them). Between 45,000 and 65,000 years ago, Thomas Jefferson and me had a common ancestor 😃. And some of my other genetic cousins from US political history: Alexander Hamilton, Abraham Lincoln, and Benjamin Franklin. Wow 😃💖.
So when I visited the Thomas Jefferson Memorial and the Abraham Lincoln Memorial, I visited the memorial monuments to two of my genetic cousins. I wish I had known this back then 😊💖.
