I am envisioning law suits if the universities ask for essays on what race means to the applicant. Race should have no bearing on admissions, so says the SC today, so how will they square asking for race to be a part of the admission process anyway? Seems like a loophole that can be closed if they are still using hidden affirmative action to accept students.
the ruling by scotus does not disallow private and public universities from using race as a filter. It simply means that the federal government (tax payer money) will not be allowed to be used for affirmative action linked scams (my words: scams).
it’s a victory in the sense that scotus realizes the solution to “equity” has no place in a modern federal funding scheme.
however, be aware: there are MANY ways that universities will still implement “affirmative” crap and still seek YOUR MONEY to do it.

My two-cents on Trump/RFK, Jr. ticket. (And I have my body armor on so hit away at me.) When someone says “never” (As in RFK, Jr, I believe, said about running on a ticket with PDJT) it means the opposite. Trump was a Dem before he became a Republican, largely because the Dem Party left him, and it’s left RFK, Jr. I will say the Republican Party today closely resembles the Democrat Party of my youth (JFK). I will also say I have been a life-long Republican up until PDJT arrival on the political scene, and now I am MAGA. To my point: A skilled negotiator could bring these two men together. The are both anti-establishment (DS/IC/WEF, etc.) in their hearts. They both want what is good for America. Let that be the starting point. Certainly they can agree to the most important things to get this country back on track, and agree to set aside those that they cannot find compromise. It’s just for four years (although four years is not enough time to do all that is needed). Four years to derail this criminal government and return the peoples’ trust of government. I think these two men are bigger than any men/women today in the American Politic.
You are leaving out the most important fact of all, and that is the fact that RFK Jr is not MAGA now, nor will he ever be.

What is a moderate green vs a radical green? I wouldn’t be against President Trump giving him a significant cabinet position rather than VP. This is a super long article, a lot of it is hard to understand, but the long and short of it is that vitamin D3 is super, super important to overall health and in particularly as we age. It can keep us from getting very sick and is not available in our food choices. Exposure to sunlight does help but one has to be careful with how much sunlight you can take..
Way down the article are tables for how much to take daily. 5000 mg per day is recommended for most body weights, even women. D3 supplements are also reasonably affordable. I believe I have seen 5000 mg tablets at Costco.
Men are not prone to taking supplements, but this one would be one of the ones to definitely take. I have also read that magnesium helps the body to absorb D3 so both would be good to take. The article does not mention magnesium. If any of you have read differently about this, please let us know.
