The bodycam video is intense and will make you hold your breath. It shows the Allen PD police officer talking to kids about wearing seatbelts just as the mall shooter begins his rampage in the distance.
Without hesitation the cop assesses the scene, grabs his rifle and charges on foot toward the suspect. The officer tracks and engages the shooter, shots are exchanged, and the suspect is neutralized. The intensity of the video is quite dramatic, as you can hear and sense the situation as it unfolds. WATCH:
TEXAS – […] “This video shows how quickly a routine interaction with the public turned into a life-and-death situation,” Allen Police Chief Brian Harvey said in a statement. “The officer recognized the danger, ran toward the gunfire and neutralized the threat — and for his actions, the Allen community is forever grateful.”
The footage, released after a grand jury Tuesday cleared the officer of any wrongdoing, showed he was by his car in the mall parking lot chatting with children and a woman when gunshots suddenly rang out.
“Make sure you wear your seatbelts when mommy’s driving … you be good,” the officer said moments before gunshots could be heard.
He spotted customers fleeing before grabbing his rifle and sprinting toward the sound of shots. (read more)
So has anyone seen the ID of the most recent Vegas would be mass shooter dispatched by a good guy yet?
8 people were killed and 7 injured per one media outlet.
I can’t say I like your comment but I liked it anyway for the info. Sad. Awaiting the ID of the perp.
suck us easy while you’re waiting if you think that’s cool
You missed his point and traded off the name.
He’s saying he didn’t like the factual content (8 killed)…but hit the like button (thumbs up) because the post provided more detail that adds context to what the officer stopped. Then he proceeds to share his state of mind.
He’s not claiming he’s cool with what happened.
He was a cartel member. TX is paying the price of O’Biden’s invasion policies.
Of course the news reported him as white at first – but he was decidedly of Latin descent.
There are pictures online, one’s pretty rough.
God Bless that officer.
“Nov 13, 2022 Dallas County District Attorney John Creuzot’s campaign was boosted across the finish line with the help of over $400,000 of support from far left-wing megadonor George Soros, according to recent campaign finance reports.”
Says it all. This cop should have never been charged.
Thanks to that DA, Dallas is one of the cities where stealing from stores is okay, as long as it’s under $750. So, no iPhones or Galaxys, but you can get a nice Motorola phone for a great price. And Air Jordans? “Come on down, boys, we got plenty! Bring your friends!”
Unbelievable that he was charged! Our system of Soros-funded DAs has got to stop.
It’s nice to hear this side of story of heroic actions. You usually never hear which is how many lives were saved by a guy with a gun. It’s usually some nutjob killed several people and every law abiding citizen, in the whole country, owning a gun for self defense, has to give up that right.
Something else that remains mostly hidden. There will be a “mass shooting” and tragically it kills several innocent humans but that same week double or triple the number can be shot/killed in some place like Chicago and we don’t hear the “mass shooting” descriptor applied to it.
New Orleans…Jackson MS…Jacksonville FL…St. Louis…
The list goes on and on…anywhere you find a ghetto you find violent people using guns…
But America isn’t a ghetto…the ghettos have created their own world…
The “gun” violence of the ghettos is being presented by the lying media to push “gun” control…
What is needed is CRIMINAL control…
Put the sumbeeches committing the crimes in prison and watch the “crime rate” drop.
It isn’t that hard to understand…..
The officer engaged at a distance and still got the killer. I blew up the video and never could see the shooter. The officer did a great job.
Same here. And I still couldn’t see the shooter.
Why the hell did he run/walk instead of driving? Might have saved a few more lives.
And he really needs to work out a bit more. Disgraceful how easily he got winded. Bet he’s 100 pounds overweight.
But…good job, in the end.
Bro…he basically ran all the way around the mall. That’s a good distance. Your adrenaline gets pumping too as you hear gunfire…been there
Gotta love the armchair quarterbacks.
Have you ever been in a life and death situation?! Running to help, adrenaline pumping? He was following the gunshots. His instincts kicked in and he had a visual. You think he should have drven his cruiser?! Okay.
Adrenaline flowing has made me breathless and I’m in excellent condition cardio, strength and flexibility.
How about instead of being critical, thank the Lord he was able to take down the shooter–breathless and all!
Maybe ALL the Police Depts. in the USA should issue “Segways” with an Assault Rifle Mount & a Clear Bullett-Proof Shield? That way, the cop could have “just dumped it” when he was under fire & he could have kept “fighting” the perp.
Was this sarcasm? /s
And you have to ask?
notice the sarc on my sarc 😉
He would have been a bigger target for gunfire, blinder, deafer, and unable to maneuver out of the gunfire.
You are correct. My neighbor, a wonderful young man with two small children and a pregnant wife at home, became the first local cop killed in the line of duty. He was shot through the neck as he pulled up in his patrol car on a domestic disturbance call.
His killer saw him coming and he never had a chance.
Here, let’s put an extra 40 pounds of gear on you and make you run a quarter mile with it as quickly as possible. Also, someone will be waiting at the end with a semi-auto rifle and handgun who will kill you if they can. Over the last 50 years or so studies have found that high stress can weaken the physiological response to combat, imminent death. There’s a meme about an intercepted radio transmission by the Taliban to their leaders complaining that the ‘Marines run towards their bullets!’ Not everyone is cut out for such endeavors. But you should at the very least thank God that such people exist.
AMEN to that, Arthur!!!
He did not know the location of the shooter(s), and if driving, may have ended up too close and still in the car.
When the bullets are flying, being in a car is a death trap. If he was dead, he would have been of no use to the public.
Did you see the other vehicles in the parking lot that he had to dodge even while on foot?
It would have been more difficult to maneuver around them while in a vehicle.
He didn’t know where the shooter was. Not a good idea to be sitting in the car cruising around to get eyes on, likeliest scenario is the shooter sees the patrol car first.
But yes – he probabably needs more work on his cardio.
He did the right thing by going on foot because he did not know exactly where shooter was. Good job on his part.
Police officers currently wear about 30 pounds of gear. I suggest you put a 25 pound weight in a backpack and see how far and how quickly you can run. Good luck to you!
That’s what I said when I watched the video… Why would he not drive without the Sirens on? He could still hear where the gunshots are & he wouldn’t alert the perp.
Seriously?
SMH
Maybe.
What was the temperature/heat index that day?
Makes you wonder why “viewer discretion” is advised. No blood, no profanity.
Video evidence goes against the media narrative
Hero cop? That’s their job!
Pa, I get your point, but give this guy credit. He ran into the danger zone without waiting for backup, or instructions from headquarters. (which could have caused more loss of life) My dad was a cop in Atlanta many years ago. Easy times back in the early ’60’s, my guess. (he didn’t discuss it much). But it was his job. The question in these days, is WHY in the hell would ANYONE take that job in Atlanta these days?
I hear ya Barnabus, what I should have added was the definition of bravery and heroic. I believe that the meaning of hero is going above and beyond the call of duty. In this case, he did his job correctly. I did not witness the cop taking any fire, but the bravery was forwarding towards the shots. According to this particular article, it seems the word hero is used very liberally. It seems that to some all cops are heroes! Bravery is a very descriptive trait on display here. To me, hero is over doing it a bit. I wish not to detract from this incident, only to reserve that word hero for what it was intended to define. If I would ever meet this man, I would vigorously shake his hand for a job well done! I give him full credit!
We are of the same thought Pa, I totally agree with the over use / and incorrect use of the word “Hero”! I thank you for your reply, and you stated this much better than I could have! Pleasure chatting!
I like that he didn’t take a pit stop to grab some hand sanitizer.
Compared to the now fired Uvalde Texas PD, he’s more than a hero.
I have a niece that just started in Houston.
May she be blessed.
Yes, their job IS to be a hero.
While there are some rotten apples in every barrel, I thank God for the ones who do their job, which is to be the hero when necessary.
My immediate observations.
Good comment. My only quibble is the government has no problem issuing themselves high capacity magazines. The bad guy is dead, so we can be glad the good guy was well armed. I should have no less right.
Yes, it should be equitable across the nation. I moved from a state that developed horrendously strict limits on firearms to a state where we are relatively free of them. I believe Texas is such a state.
We can essentially own anything the military can in principal, including tanks and mortars. Texas is like that too.
I think the Communists are focused on Texas to destabilize it and solidify Communist control there, hence the violence we see there. It’s important on the national stage to their plans.
Dines2021: I agree.
Re “We can essentially own anything the military can in principal, including tanks and mortars.”
Actually, the Framers’ intent was that if it exists or can be created, we can own it. Whether or not the military has it is immaterial.
Framers said we should have no standing army because the corrupt always find ways to seize control.
What is “high capacity?” 30 is standard. I’ve seen 100 round drums for the AR-15 before… impressive to look at, but when you consider the weight? Nah. Probably the most practical is two standard magazines connected to each other for a quick flip-over reload.
Surefire makes some great 60 round mags that are the same length as two standard 30 round mags clipped together, but thinner. They don’t have the feeding issues found in drum magazines. The additional weight makes it feel like you’re carrying an AR10.
They made 100 round straight mags too, don’t know if they still do.
Always wanted such a set up, now I just want out of Washington.
You’re not alone wanting out of the communist state of Washington. Don’t know your location but if one just drew a circle around the I5 corridor down to Oly and up to Everett the rest of the state would be red
In Spokane.
Looking to hop the border if I can get it together.
I’ll just go to belt feed as a circumvention 😉
Well a high capacity of rounds was an eight round internal clip for the M1 Garand in 30.06 caliber back in 1942 to 1945. If anyone thinks exposing yourself to send 20, 30, or more rounds down range with impunity from return fire then just make sure someone worthy is in your will or life insurance policy.
Rule #1: You’re not SUPPOSED TO expose yourself if you don’t have to. Always shoot from cover….or concealment.
“Flip over” is never faster than simple mag change. Why?
Because the “flipping over” requires two hands.
If “flip over”, taped together magazines were faster then every competition shooter would be using them. Which they’re not.
That was my unspoken suggestion … that we ALL have the capacity to overwhelm bad guys.
Standard capacity magazines. Anything less is REDUCED capacity.
Hokkoda: Not “high capacity” magazines. Just the same mags that millions of lawful citizens own and use.
Back between 2008 to 2017 when the Feds were buying up all of the ammo, especially of the hollow point variety, and assorted types of semi-auto firearms someone pointed out the federal contract request for what they called ‘Personal Defense Weapons’, or PDW. The same rifle when sold to the civilian market was thoughtfully labeled as an ‘Assault Rifle’, or AR. Once you understand there’s been a breakaway civilization that exists as a parallel society to ours then you’ll better grasp the current reality you find yourself in.
The AR stands for ArmaLite Rifle.
I had a patient who is a retired NYPD 9/11 survivor cop give me his 10 shot capacity magazines — all the Mayor (not Giuliani) would let them have) when crooks were able to carry 17 round magazines.
When seconds count the cops are minutes away. Arm yourselves and don’t depend on the PoPo. Short of being armed the key to survival and safety is situational awareness in public places. Yes the Cop did his job well but they don’t always do that.
Think Broward Cowards and those losers at the Uvalde school shooting who stood around for an hour and did nothing but protect themselves!
Hey now! That just means you’re LOOKING for a gun fight. Also, that spare tire on your vehicle? Are you planning on having a flat tire? What are you thinking?!
Football player???
Good Lord.
That was hard to watch, but thank you so much for the post.
No room for second guessing or criticism.
Anyone who criticizes his heavy breathing needs to strap up and go run (even two hundred feet…) wearing and carrying 20 or more pounds of belt, radio, camera and a fully loaded long gun. AND they need to be able to shout at the top of their voice, and give intelligible commands to others while doing it.
What a mighty and well trained warrior we see here.
May God give this man peace, and send His angels of comfort to the families of the slain.
Yes, also body armor; most cops these days wear body armor, at least the soft stuff, probably plates in rifle country. Gear can get horrendously heavy.
Yes it can, and it can be real real hot to wear.
These cops are animals. So tough.
Not to mention the adrenaline that is flowing would contribute to the heavy breathing.
Yep.
Cat was a real cool hand under the circumstances.
I would add that his adrenaline level in addition to running might have impacted his breathing, too.
For sure.
And I didn’t notice and shakiness in his hands at all.
He’s a guy with some lucky neighbors and family.
I said this above, but anybody that has done intense athletics knows that without warming up, and going full on from zero to the red zone will gas you out. It’s just how the body works. Had he a few minutes to do dynamic stretches and jog around…
Its a dumb talking point to me to be critical of his fitness. I do lots of intense cardio, often with short intervals of 110% effort. I can tell you, without question, I would fall flat on my face if tried that out of the gate.
Goodness yes.
Me too, and I’m pretty fit and active.
Heck, under that load I’d probably fall out even with a warmup stretch. lol
Also if you track his running, he around a large portion of that mall with his battle rattle on and weapon. It does get tiring even for in shape ppl. We watch too many Hollywood movies and think everyone is calm and collected and can run forever
I completely agree.
The heavy breathing most likely had NOTHING to do with the run. Dear lord some of these comments. When my adrenaline runs I become very short of breath. It happens even in arguments at work. For some people adrenaline might make it seem like they are winded but it’s just their body in over drive.
See my post on page one. During that situation I didn’t run two feet and I was winded. And after the adrenaline settles you become very tired. You probably burn the same calories as if you had run three miles. Amazing how many on here have never been in a high stress and adrenaline scenario.
What you say is very true. Adrenaline changes everything. Quickly. And it can definitely leave a ‘hangover.’
And there’s adrenaline… then there’s adrenaline. Those who’ve been in a fight for their lives can tell the difference.
Thank God for endorphins!
God help the grieving families of the victims. Impossible to understand how anyone could shoot innocent people, much less precious children.
God bless this officer for not hesitating to put his life on the line.
The shooter was a Hispanic male, Mauricio Garcia, age 33 who murdered eight people and wounded many more. Killed: Female, age 11, Female, age 8, Female, age 26, male, age 37, age 35, Male, age 3, male, age 20, male, age 32. The usual state sponsored propaganda outlets have all chimed in together calling this Hispanic guy a “white supremacist”, and even calling the RWDS patch to mean “Right Wing Death Squad”. Anyone call themselves “right wing” anything these days? Nope. More like “Right Wing Derangement Syndrome”. They always gotta go full retard. Never go full retard. Yunno? Just like the ethnic Indian “white supremacist”. If you wanna look like a imbecilic moron then yeah, go with that narrative.
How about Reconquista War Dios Soldados – RWDS
Or how about: R.W.D.S – Running Wid Da Streets – YouTube Channel, look it up.
“‘This is the Texas cartel gang tattoo’ – Many social media users investigated the details of the video and discovered a tattoo on the alleged shooter’s hand that they claimed belonged to a cartel gang. “This is the Texas cartel gang tattoo. My rights will not be threatened because the cartel is running wild all over the southwestern US, including Colorado,” a user wrote while sharing a close-up of the shooter’s hand. “For those claiming this a not a cartel tattoo, there are no organic American gangs in Texas. The cartel killed them all over the last 20 years. Welcome to today,” another user added.” – Read more here: https://meaww.com/was-allen-shooter-a-cartel-member-image-of-killers-tattoo-sparks-wave-of-rumors-and-recrimination
Scary version? Cartels are working for the CIA to destabilize target areas. It wouldn’t surprise me. Then there’s the garden variety mercenaries like antifa and burn, loot, murder. We saw their activities in Texas in the runup to the 2016 election and after. IIRC Micah Johnson was a BLM operator and made a mess in Dallas the summer of 2016.
Also take special note to this anomaly: Up to a few weeks before his going out in a blaze of glory he lived with his parents in north-east Dallas area. He had moved to Budget Suites of America in Dallas, TX, where is address was listed on his I.D. Anyone wonder who may have been there with him? Or who put him there? Was there some type of handler there preparing him by putting him into a better environment, isolated from his parents? Don’t know, and likely never will. But you can find historical accounts of before a person was to be sacrificed to the gods they were treated well, with every necessity provided, all anxieties tranquilized, all boredom amused, until the subject is utterly programmed to complete their mission. Whether for the Cartels in Mexico or DC is a mute point since both operate together now.
Sounds like he’s another deranged loner with bats in the belfry. If you want to see graphic image of the dead shooter it can be found at the IBT link below. The officer shot him in the head.
The sick fk murdered parents with their young children. Youngest victim is 3.

An act of bravery!
And this is exactly why WTP need to stop the defund the police bull shit.
Soros would retire if the US defunded the police…
Am I the only one thinking give the guy a break about not being in top form. Do y’all know how HOT it was with the heat index in Allen, TX, today!!! NWS says it’s still 95° at 9 pm CDT.
Agreed that Texas is hot rt now but this was in May. But he still ran far.
No you’re not. He was running wearing a ton of gear that weighs a lot, adrenaline pumping.
I’m so sick of keyboard warriors who can’t lift ten pounds, are obese and immobile yet quick to criticize a man running to stop a shooter.
😖😖😖
Hero!
Caused me to wonder, was his interaction with the family at the beginning of the video, Divine Intervention to save them from harm also. He was in the right place at the right time to thankfully save more innocent lives! Prayers for those that were lost in such an evil circumstance of which the innocent had no control!
No. A lot of people were saved by virtue of their location. What was good was that a policeman was at the location even if he was running from a distance and rendering himself breathless in the sprint. So if there’s a miracle in there, it’s that despite being exhausted and winded, he was able to perform perfectly.
It can all be one miracle. Let’s leave it open to possibilities…
Brave? Hmm.
I think that depends entirely on one’s perspective. What’s mine?
A: True bravery and courage was kicking in front and back doors in Fallujah, Iraq in late 2004, when a heavily armed enemy knew you were coming and was deliberately lying in wait to ambush you and your buddies.
This?
This was a diseased dog incident by comparison.
Speaking of….dear cop…thanks for actually doing the job you signed up to do! Back in the 1800’s, they laugh at you if you called a cop like this a hero. Heros were men who faced down overwhelming odds, like being grossly outnumbered and keeping one’s cool well enough to survive and win.
This cop is lucky he didn’t have a cardiac arrest running a few hundred yards. Yes, very glad he put the diseased dog down. But he hardly deserves any kind of medal for simply doing what he was supposed to do.
Dang people are soft.
He heard gunfire (lots of it!) and he headed in that direction. Given the amount of gun fire, it could have been more than one shooter — he couldn’t know as he approached if he was heading in for an ambush. (And don’t think he didn’t consider that possibility — ambushing cops has been done before)
I’m a wartime veteran of Desert shield/Desert Storm but all I did was maintain the targeting systems on an aircraft carrier in air conditioned spaces. We all had our roles to play to achieve results.
But you’re right… maybe the cop should have waited for the shooter to recruit a few more volunteers so he could show off.
I don’t really know what you’re trying to say here but I think it’s pretty wrong.
Of course, he is brave just to become a cop in the first place. These cops are damned if they do and damned if they don’t. It makes me sick how this man is disparaged here.
Brave people who save their friends and neighbors and protect our communities? Why ^^THAT’S^^ a hero to be PROUD of.
Heck YEAH!
Thank you for your service to our country. Am thankful for you and all the veterans that have served past, present, and future. They are all hero’s in my eyes. I am just as thankful for all of our first responders to include the police and in my eyes this officer did his job and in an exemplary manner. He is a hero. Saved many people that day. Again, your service to our country is appreciated. His service to his community is appreciated. It is 2023, and not the 1800’s, so I consider his situation very much facing down overwhelmingly odds, such as a mass shooting.
Steadfast- I know exactly what you’re saying BUT this guy deserves credit for running around half or most of the mall. As you know, most of our engagements were short sprints to cover and laying down suppressive fire. Thx for your service.
Brave man.
Toxic masculinity saves the day again.
On point.
Cheers.
Disgusting that people would have qualms with calling the guy a hero. Disgusting that people would second guess a guy’s effort who never once stopped advancing towards rapid fire gunfire. That’s a badass dude. Hey President Trump, let’s see him at your next rally
Some people are just seasoned aholes. I wouldn’t give them the time of day.
Exactly. It’s sad but true.
This officer… 100%. Angels look over him, thank God he’s on our side. Much respect, thank you sir!
soft targets…enforced no gun zones.
noting: still to this day, there are thousands of schools in America that stubbornly refuse to have trained armed security. It’s beyond cognitive dissonance …these are people who really do not care about human life..
God Bless America
Even nuttier are the parents who willingly send their children into such schools.
Hero.
This is probably one of those posts where I shouldn’t read the comments. The guy did his job bravely and competently but we have numerous keyboard heroes saying he is out of shape or this isn’t as bad as being a marine in fallujah or some other stupid stuff. It’s the internet so it’s what happens
Three-Letter Word: Bad-Ass!
Dude sounded ex-military, maybe Marine. Impressive shooting … the race for the Darwin Award grand prize winner this year is TIGHT!
How long before the Department of Injustice goes after this hero ?
It’s probably why they haven’t ID’d him. Local matter.
Good cop did his job and saved lives.
The guy on the ny subway, a civilian, did what he should to also save lives.
He should not be prosecuted either.
.😳
Can’t freaking believe they even put him before a Grand Jury at all.
God Bless this hero
Give that man a promotion, and the medal of honor.
That officer ran quite a way getting to the shooter. Bravery personified!
At my recent men’s night at my church (Edgewater Grants Pass), a 26 year veteran police detective swore to a group
of approx. 300 fathers, husbands and sons that an Uvalde event would NEVER take place here.
With tears in his eyes, and emotion choking his throat, that detective made an oath to all of us:
”We will always run to the gunfire. And we will NEVER let your kids die.”
Men all around me, me included, were overcome with emotion.
God bless this officer, and all that run into the fire
I refuse to believe there was merely systemic cowardice at play there. The decision [order] not to engage was given. At some point they were getting to the bottom of it and they went silent. Does anyone know if there was a conclusion to that? I don’t remember any.
I haven’t felt this deep sense of betrayal since the 2020 election.
The first tell in a psy-op is there is no conclusion. First they identify gun-free zones, then they *train* the personnel and first responders to be sitting ducks waiting for further instructions.
After that, it’s easy to go on in and maximize the carnage, preferably while someone records it all for the commie news networks.
Of course they will memory hole the entire incident and never resolve any of the discrepancies. It’s always on to the next psy op, posthaste! The ENEmedia isn’t even curious.
Oh, and anyone who manages to do the ‘right’ thing to ‘neutralize’ the maniac will get the book thrown at them, for disobeying orders and messing up the plan!
Lawfare at its finest.
Gun-free zones topped with ill-conceived exercise drills.. I would expect many more of these as we round the bases to *condition* Americans to rescind their 2a rights.
Were I a good guy who disobeyed orders, I would stand on the long tradition of “lawful orders” as defense and then open discovery into who gave the unlawful orders and why.
The other day, I actually WON a 2A discussion. I asked him, “if for whatever reason you were in possession of a weapon, do you think it would cause you to use it for any bad purpose?” He actually came out admitting he agrees it is the people, not the weapon.
I wish I had pursued further to remind him “you know, government can be a weapon too…”
He shouldn’t get more coverage than the Tennessee law enforcement officers who had to engage with the trans mass shooter.
Did they release the bodycams?
Very early on they did.
Perhaps not all of them.
But we had a front row seat right here to the team that formed up and went in and took her down.
And why the AR platform is the choice of the land.
The officer” CLEARED of any wrongdoing”. EXACTLY why this country is soooo F’ed up. The hero PO DID his job, ran TO the threat and SAVED other lives by ELIMINATING the POS! They can see clearly by his body camera that he did NOTHING wrong!
Yeah… I was thinking the same sort of thing. It’s almost comical how the video starts with “wear your seatbelt” and ends with “we got’m!”
Because, at the end of the day, this cop is just a regular guy trying to help his community and make it home in one piece. And, once in a blue moon, if ever, these ‘regular’ people are called upon to do something truly heroic.
Unlike all these TV shows, active shooters are *not* a regular part of your average cop’s daily routine. In fact, the majority of cops will retire without ever having had to fire their weapons in the line of duty.
“Just a regular guy”? If such guys were regular, we wouldn’t have nearly the problems we have today.
No such thing as “high capacity” magazine. Here’s why:
The framers never restricted the capacity (i.e. “size”) of powder horns or limited the number of balls (i.e. “bullets”) a man could carry in his shot pouch.
That historic fact dovetails with Bruen, which said for gun laws to be legal, they must have historic roots and been something the originators of 2A would’ve adopted. Therefore, magazine bans based on capacity are unconstitutional, and magazine bans per se are unconstitutional.
The left and their methods are predictable. They will keep doing it. This will not end until we restore the practice of having indoor gun ranges in schools to teach young people how to use them properly.
I don’t know when the practice ended exactly. Maybe in some states it never existed. But in the D/FW area when I went to junior high school, there was such an indoor range where .22 pistols and rifles were used and I didn’t think anything of it. That would have been maybe 45 years ago.
They throw around terms like “gun culture” but would they ever say “speech culture?” (yeah.. probably pretty soon… even silence is violence to these fools)
I agree that young folks should be trained to properly and safely use weapons.
I think it is even more necessary that they learn to reverence God.
We need prayer back in schools, and the Ten Commandments.
that cop is in such poor physical condition It was a miracle he made it to where the shooter was.
Try running with 30 pounds of gear strapped to your body with adrenaline pumping while holding a rifle. Do a little experiment for your own education. Put on a backpack with a 25 pound weight in it. Grab you a rifle and then begin running a quarter mile. I suspect you will not make the quarter mile. And that is without adrenaline pumping. Good luck to you!
Stupid comment.
Officer was in good condition, evidenced by his ability to speak clearly to dispatch, ability to run half a mile wearing 40lb of gear in 90 degree weather, and to sucessfully shoot the killer at long range.
God bless and protect that Officer as he continues to serve.
When was this ?
Around May 6th, I think.
God bless our men and women in blue who choose self-sacrifice every day.
Nice to see a cop doing their job instead of “setting up a tactical perimeter” as they so often do while innocents continue being shot. Great work by this officer.
Yet another FBLie contractor goes down…..
Everybody thinks they’ll have it together in an active shooter situation.
All that adrenaline, and this guy kept it together. Kudos.
God bless that officer and his family. It will take time to recover from that demand.
Praise God for “toxic masculinity”.
I heard this shooter was a Neo-Nazi Mexican Nationalist, soon after the incident. Haven’t heard any info since …
MAGA 👊👊🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️
Great stuff! This stuff needs to be honored, not censored.
Drop the gun? Seriously? Just shoot him! How many died after the officer didn’t shoot him, commanding him to drop the gun? Just shoot him!
What kind of training are these officers getting? The sooner you kill the shooter the sooner the killing stops. You don’t tell him to drop the gun to give him a chance to surrender. Kill him!
I have had the training three times. In the first roundtable discussion two lieutenants were cowards. They said that they would wait for backup, while the shooter is k**ling people. In the second roundtable discussion the road sergeant, the man who would be in charge initially, said that he would wait for backup. I objected but was shouted down. And that was a scenario about an attack on school children! Even if you don’t hit him, now his focus is on you, not the people you are supposed to protect. It is less likely he will shoot at anyone else but you. You are now a threat, not the civilians. I wish that the parents from that school could have heard that sergeant.
I thought that the public had learned this from Uvalde. What the hell is wrong with the training in Texas. Is it universal, or just individual departments?
I had a practical of this situation. When I found the shooter, I s**t him, no questions asked. The next officer that came through the scenario stopped to tell the shooter to drop his gun. The officer got shot, and failed the practical. Sorry, but I’m angry.
Lies. You were never LE. Orders to disarm are for legal protection of the officer and the department.
You were never LE
Truly amazed at the number of comments that down grade this hero.
And the comments of how out of shape he is, as if he was on his hands and knees gasping for air, barely able to move.
Disgusting. Shame on you.
I didn’t see anything heroic unless I am willing to take the word of the police about all the things we COULDN’T see.
Serial liars don’t deserve to have their word taken at face value. Maybe that was a cop shooting a bad guy. Maybe it was a training scenario. I have no reason to trust any official source about anything.
You have no reason to be here.
Go away.
