I feel like there are only a handful of us who recognized what was happening, back in 1996, and realized, even then, that the majority of Republicans were NOT on our side! The Clintons, along with their sidekick, Algore, sold our country out to the CCP in order to finance their re-election, and instead of exposing them and jailing them, the GOP completely ignored the whole situation and decided to go after Billy Jeff for his tawdry affair with a 22 year old staffer, which of course, backfired and exposed many of them for doing the same thing. (I know that Clinton was actually impeached for perjury because he lied on the Paula Jones deposition but the media framed it perfectly and most people never understood the distinction.)
I had some hope when W was elected in 2000, that the “grown-ups” were back in charge and the country was going to get turned around…that optimism lasted about three months! When the first three major things Bush did were the “No Child Left Behind Act”, Medicare Part D, and finally, the creation of The Office of Faith Based Initiatives, I knew we had been sold a pig in a poke! And then came 9/11 and the beginning of the Never-ending Wars and the creation of the “new and improved Surveillance State”!
And now, 20+ years later, the Bushies and the Clintons are all best buddies, along with the Obamas and all the Neo-cons, and the wholesale destruction of the American middle class is just about complete!

Growing up among them (as the kid sister that mom made my older sister drag along, no need for paying a babysitter in those days when you had a teenager that could do the job) saw many of those 1960’s commie loving hippies all decided to get jobs as teachers as a way to train young minds – so not surprised the entire education system has been taken over by communists.
Others decided to get jobs that were guaranteed to have built in retirement benefits by becoming government employees or union jobs – so also not surprised those two areas are also now run by communist ideologies.
This is why I have been saying trying to fix public education by running for school board, is a waste of good MAGA energy.
A MAGA School board will be fighting Federal and State Govt. textbook publishers, administrators, funding and even leftists parents..cut the cord, starve the beast and home school.
I love watching parents take on school boards.
It’s not a waste of time in my opinion.
They alert parents on what’s going on in the school’s
so that others will homeschool their kids
and vote for candidates who support school vouchers.

The PATRIOT Act
The years of 2001-2003 were confusing for Americans as many tried to grapple with the fact that living in the greatest country on earth did not make us immune to large-scale terrorist attacks. These were also the years that Brett Kavanaugh served as associate White House Counsel for then-President George W. Bush.
In the aftermath of 9/11, many people began to believe that the government not only had a right to take drastic security measures against its own people but that our livelihoods actually depended on it. This fear gave birth to the monstrous national security state we live in today, where without just cause, civilians began being treated like criminals in our own country.
One of the most egregious acts perpetrated against the American people at this time was the PATRIOT Act. And one of its greatest supporters was Brett Kavanaugh.
According to the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC), which filed a Freedom of Information Act Request for Kavanaugh’s official government correspondence records from this era, the Supreme Court Justice nominee referred to the PATRIOT Act as a “measured, careful, responsible, and constitutional approach” in an email sent to a colleague. Anyone who knows anything about the PATRIOT Act knows that “constitutional” and “careful” are by no means accurate descriptions. The PATRIOT Act obliterated the Fourth and Fifth Amendment rights to privacy and due process by giving the federal government sweeping new powers to conduct surveillance on the American people.
But his support of the legislation that signaled the downfall of American rule of law does not simply end with his favorable comments. Kavanaugh was also one of the individuals tasked with its drafting. He has been definitively credited with the line, “…the new law will update laws authorizing government surveillance.” And just this one line is rather problematic in itself. If he is the constitutionalist he has claimed to be on several occasions, then he would know that the Constitution already prohibits the government from broad, warrantless searches of this nature. This is not a protection that can simply be “updated.” And yet, his nonchalance over abolishing certain constitutional protections without a discussion of adopting an actual amendment is disconcerting.

Metadata: Due Process for Me, Not for Thee
The 2013 Edward Snowden leaks were arguably one of the most significant events to occur over the last decade. For those who thought the government wasn’t capable of this magnitude of corruption, the blindfold was removed and the government’s true intentions were revealed. For those already skeptical, the leaks had confirmed preexisting suspicions.
In many ways, the Snowden situation drew a line in the political sand. Those who stood for freedom believed in the people’s inherent right to privacy and in upholding the Fourth and Fifth Amendments. But those who supported and sustained the government’s mass surveillance of its own people made their views on individual liberty very clear. And Judge Kavanaugh was not on the right side of history.

If State Uniparty State Legislature Legislature wanted to do-away with elections all together, and simply decide itself who would be the electors, there would be no avenue for Court challenge.

I don’t think there was a male teacher in my elementary school. Well, there was the PE coach. But none in the classrooms.
I had the misfortune of getting two! Fifth and sixth grades. Fifth grade dude had the girls sit on his lap, so….. the other was past retirement age and had no energy.
I followed up 4th grade and Mr. Shepherd with 5th Grade and Mr. Castner. Mr. Castner weighed 375lb if not 400. He taught from a sturdy chair behind his desk from which he rarely moved. Funny thing. My 5th grade class with Mr. Castner had EVERY one of the cutest girls in our grade all packed into our classroom. Literally every one a fashion model of a 10yo girl. Huh? How did that just randomly happen? Well … I sure dug it. I still treasure that 5th grade class picture. But Mr. Castner was a GREAT if not irreverent teacher. He taught us all how to play chess as he had a GIANT chess table and wooden pieces that stood 12” tall in the class. We had tournaments all year. We also had SRA reading enhancement books, with challenge ladders to climb after testing on comprehension from our readings. Man oh man, but did those cutie pie girls make me compete for top spot!
I had the absolute GREATEST white male teacher in 4th grade. Mr. Shepherd was a young, athletic, ginger of a man who played kickball and softball with us … and even had snakes as pets in the class and fed them live mice … HEY! … “It’s a REAL WORLD, kiddies!” No time to learn REAL biology than in 4th grade. It was 1965 … and schools hadn’t yet become feminatzied and lawsuit averse.
Mr. Shepherd went on to become a HS Principal, and School District Trustee. He was an absolute brilliant teacher and educator. Sadly, there are few like him anymore. I play poker with one … but he straddles the line between moderate and leftist. Still, a great guy.

Middle school teachers are a special lot, and my hat goes off to anyone who has the fortitude to confront such uncivilized beasts. That said, I had a 7th grade black male teacher who was not competent. Unable to inspire us, he resorted to revenge, often saying, “What comes around, goes around.” No one liked him. In 8th grade I had a white male teacher who was also incompetent. He was amicable but lazy, and we didn’t learn much from him.
This focus on race is absurd. Competence and skill should be the goal. Of course, the woke will put this down to my whiteness. I put their views down to an unwillingness to see reality and the obvious harms they have caused to generations of children, and the ruin brought to the schools. There are also those who get rich off of the current system.

Commissioners push to defund electronic voting systems, removing $85,000 from the Election Boards# budget.
Tonight the board, in a 5-0 vote, gave its consent for the Spalding County Board of Elections to take whatever action they deem reasonably prudent to carry out open, fair and transparent elections, to include using paper ballots instead of the flawed machines.
The next Elections Board meeting will be held on this measure, July 11.
Spalding County Board of Elections recently testified at the State Election Board hearing to refute a dismissal of a case where the voting machines printed a ballot on what appeared to be notebook paper that was then accepted into the scanner as a cast vote.
This investigation is still underway as Kimberly Slaughter and her staff were not in violation of any wrongdoing, but reported the issue immediately and are, rightfully so, still demanding answers on what and how the machines were able to do this.
Alex Johnson, an elections expert of Bernard and Johnson, LLC, wrote a letter which was read into the record tonight by James R. Dutton, of Dutton & Dutton, LLC, in Griffin, Georgia, Vice Chairman of the Spalding County Board of Commissioners.

Justices are appointed on condition of good behavior. Half of them need to be removed by Congress.
Don’t think so; have only read the decision once, so will be re-reading it, but so far it simply says that yes, State Legislatures have the sole responsibility of establishing federal election regulations for their individual States but those legislatures must also follow the laws as interpreted by the individual State supreme courts.
It’s a weird tangle of wording so more than one reading will be needed. The problem comes in because that lawsuit under consideration was dropped, reinstated more than once, the State legislature created new districts then uncreated them because of the constantly changing rulings of that State’s supreme court – it all has to do with what started out as a gerrymandering claim by the opposing party and it looks like the majority of justices were using the confusing situation to insert their own personal touches to change things while saying they weren’t doing that, simply ‘clarifying’ a very confusing case.
