They should know that PTrump has the unique opportunity to fight the Establishment Rs&Ds and institutions to start getting back on track to being the Constitutional Republic we were founded to be. He would have only four years with no need to have supporters for a re-election. He would owe nothing to political influences. He could do what is right, not politically expedient.
If DeSantis really cared obout the country rather than himself or fellow Establishment creatures he would help PTrump accomplish getting our country back. Maybe he could show leadership by bringing together Conservative Governors to drive conservative policies—ie common election integrity policies to clean up fraud and corruption and follow federal law. There are many things conservative governors could do to push back on federal overreach and woke policies.
It could be a top down approach at the federal level, PTrump, and bottoms up support conservative governors with help of some truly MAGA congressional support.
But, I know they don’t give a rat-sht about our country so they will try to defeat the MAGA movement and therefore PTrump and return to the Establishment Uniparty.

Don’t forget – Carroll’s lawsuit against Trump was funded by Democratic mega donor Reid Hoffman.
Earlier this month, Carroll’s lawyers disclosed to Trump’s team that Carroll “now recalls that at some point, her counsel secured additional funding from a nonprofit organization to offset certain expenses and legal fees.”
Billionaire Reid Hoffman, the co-founder of LinkedIn who has donated millions to Democrats and liberal causes, primarily funded that nonprofit, court documents show.
Trump’s legal team has vowed to appeal the verdict. I expect them to get this over with and resolved SOON! No doubt there will be obstacles to delay the appeal.

Actually mushrooms have helped a few combat Veteran friends of mine come back from the Brink to a G-d Fearing, productive existence. The other night we had occasion to go to the Outback Steakhouse in Conshohocken, just outside the city. It used to be packed. Now it’s a ghost town. We had a party of 4 on Saturday night at 6:00 a clock and we were seated in a booth right away. Not a single person was sitting at the bar. It was an unsettling experience. We haven’t been to that particular restaurant in a while, but that place has always been a long wait if you went during peak hours. Also, we’re getting more door to door salesmen looking for work (windows, HVAC, lawncare, you name it).

An outcome / ruling in 1 type of case does
not directly tie to an outcome in another type of case.
If a civil case is won by an accuser, or defendent,
the evidence presented may not rise to the higher standard needed for a similar favor / disfavor in a criminal case.
Civil may, or may not involve money ( damages).
Sometimes, it is just to make a legal point ( at the cost of legal expense$).

The jury in Trump’s civil case makes no sense. They rejected the rape charge, which means that they said that Jean Carroll was lying about the incident, but then they found him liable for the sexual battery charge, which was not what she was claiming. ANd then, when they found that she had lied about the rape they still found Trump liable for “defamation” when he rebutted her insane public charges of “rape”.
There is no logical consistency to these verdicts, at all, but I am not confident in our appellate system to straighten any of this out. It is crazy.
