If you bought your home for $250,000 and it is destroyed in a fire, it would likely cost $350,000 – $400,000 to rebuild.

In the State of Alabama rate increases must be approved by a state board…..always approved What a joke Suppose to be larger rate approvals but they increase premiums every year upwards of 10% or more. Remember one year I called and asked why another rate increase was approved….they actually gave the reason of huge stock market losses. I don’t ever remember a rate decrease when they were making money hand over fist. I also remember when your car insurance rates would lower if you were a good driver….Gone up every year. It’s a racket really when you switch companies to get lower rates only to have them increase large % the following year. Don’t get me started on wind and hail.
USGS was flying a drone that I would expect to see in a military operation at extreme low altitude taking LIDAR readings of the entire river basin I live on. We already know we are in a floodplain. Interesting… here in NE Ohio, State Farm was the cheapest for auto and renter’s insurance for me.
Allstate had hiked my car rates from being in the $50-$60s/mo range for over a decade, to suddenly $71/mo last year, and were about to raise it to over $80/mo a few months ago. I wondered if because I was 67, maybe I’d entered a new demographic.
So I did some rate shopping, checked with friends, and went with State Farm for $27/mo, with much better coverage. (A broker found me a similar rate with Progressive, so it wasn’t a fluke.) And my renter’s insurance with them was cheaper as well with better coverage. (Praise God.)

When you have no stake in that history, and you have loyalties to foreign family or country,
you cannot possibly understand my identity as an American with NO allegiance but to the nation I serve.
All have been welcomed to the U.S.A, but it seems that many have taken advantage of our generosity.
Too many are seeking prosperity without regard for our culture and Constitution.
Others have sought our freedoms, yet bring their failed ways of thinking.
Some, yet, come here to wreck havoc.
I have learned much from my immigrant friends about their history. I do not rely upon them for my history.
I want them to wait a couple generations before being entrusted to hold political office, or to be

According to both Senators Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley, 15 Democrats from the Judiciary Committee have sent a letter to the Appropriations Committee asking that funding for the security that defends the lives of the Supreme Court Justices and their families be denied until the Court buckles to the demands of the Democrats.

Watching a show set in the early 90s last night, an episode on busing. For the first time I realized that busing was the very first reparations, people who worked long and hard to earn their right to live in a decent school system … forced to give it away to finance those who didn’t earn it.
Now the studies show that it not only didn’t help for its intended purpose, while destroying a lot of previously good schools, but it also tore out the center of the communities from which students were bused, leaving them less cohesive. I was watching a recent video of that Jazz boy who is now a girl (not really though). “She” is suffering from binge eating disorder and depression and was emotionally distraught because he doesn’t “feel like myself!”. His mom on the other hand, was drinking wine at a fancy outdoor restaurant with her “girlfriends” and explaining how her “daughter” isn’t following the doctors’ protocols for, how should I say this delicately, “maintaining” her new body parts.
I remember watching a brief clip years ago when Jazz was on his popular reality tv show. He and his mom and dad were in a doctor’s examining room discussing “procedures” and what effects they would have on his “sexual responses”. The mother was giddy. The dad sat there looking totally embarrassed.

James Comer (R-KY), citing an internal FBI document they say contains evidence of the alleged bribery which took place when Biden was Vice President.
“We have received legally protected and highly credible unclassified whistleblower disclosures, ” reads a Wednesday letter addressed to Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray. “It has come to our attention that the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) possess an unclassified FD-1023 form that describes an alleged criminal scheme involving then-Vice President Biden and a foreign national relating to the exchange of money for policy decisions. It has been alleged that the document includes a precise description of how the alleged criminal scheme was employed as well as its purpose.”
And if by some miracle anything comes of this, since Ms. BJ-to-VP would take over after the half-way point of Biden’s term, it wouldn’t count as her first term.
I predicted that that would be the timeline for any Dim-planned Biden removal.

As a young man I remember in the early 90’s when a whole bunch of people said cell phones cause cancer. Then I never heard another peep about it…
Yes…another ‘dirty little secret’. The articles are out there, but one may have to dig. 5G will only make it far worse. The cancer causing radiation emitted from those towers will kill Folks down the road. There are already stories of People who have suffered greatly because they reside in a close proximity to one of these towers/boxes.
On WARROOM they have been advertising a satellite phone. I’m not a very technical person (an actual Luddite) but, would this make a difference?

I’m a definite lightweight when it comes to anything electronic…I’ve personally done what I could to avoid this ‘electronic prison’ that Folks are building and supporting whether they know it or not. However, if you read the article, the way it sounds to me is that the cell phone itself (Towers, etc., aside) cause cancer and are also tracked. If that be the case, and I’m understanding this correctly, you are still tracked, listened to, recorded, etc., by the phone itself. Some years ago, one could remove the battery and that supposedly kept safe one’s privacy. Most modern cell phones, from what I’ve heard, no longer have a removable battery. But even if they do, things are still recorded and as soon as you turn the phone back on, it downloads whatever took place when it was out of operation. What was one of the 1st things Hussein did? He passed out free phones. What are all those given who cross the border? Free phones. When Folks get on TV and say they don’t know where 85K are located, that must be how many were not given a phone..in my opinion.

The European Union has blocked the import of Ukrainian wheat, maize, rapeseed and sunflower seed to five member states for at least a month. The measure went into effect on Tuesday evening and is scheduled to expire June 5, unless it is extended.
The European Commission announced the “exceptional and temporary preventive measures on imports” of the four items to “alleviate logistical bottlenecks” in Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia. The EU regulation supersedes the state-level bans enacted by some of those governments.
Kiev can still use “a common customs transit procedure” to export the grain and seed-oil components to other EU member states or outside the bloc, but cannot sell them to the five “frontline” countries.
Sofia, Budapest, Warsaw and Bratislava had “committed to lift their unilateral measures” on the four items “and any other products coming from Ukraine,” the Commission said. In return the EU will provide “financial support” to their farmers. No number was provided in Tuesday evening’s statement, but media reports last week spoke of a €100 million ($110 million) package.
