I think what he is trying to say is that the depletion of the strat reserves means that there will be less US oil supply being released into the U.S. consumer market by the administration, thereby tightening gas supply although the consumer demand will still exist. This has the potential to drive up gas prices in the US due to cutbacks in oil production by OPEC+.
So yes, gas prices will remain inflationary and can continue to increase due to cutbacks in overseas oil production and depletion of U.S. strategic oil reserves if what we are told is the truth of the situation.

Thank you Ausonius. As peace was guessing, POTUS Trump was telling the truth which I can confidently say about the “failing education system”. When DeSantis was grabbing headlines about limiting trans et al public school education to beyond third grade, I looked up Florida’s ranking on quality of public education. Florida was ranked in the lowest 5 of all 50 states.
So while DeSantis goes after the big headline issues creating an illusion he is invested in an issue overall, it seems he selects based on what aspect will give him the most exposure.
Florida public education is an area where DeSantis can and should do a great deal more work as Florida governor.

I was disappointed that his speech seeking the democratic nomination didn’t better confront big pharma/government collusion as his book did. The EUA’s need to be eliminated by law. While he mentioned the rise in autism, he failed to identify the cause. It is obviously big pharma and the 30 to 50 childhood vaccines. The drug companies are killing us and colluding with government yet he isn’t yet being forthright with this. Maybe it’s coming.
Sounds like pushback against President Trump’s line, “I am your retribution.”
However, if you click on the tweet to see the full context, he finishes the statement with, “…But we need to avoid the toxic quagmire of retribution and blame and focus on ensuring this never happens again. Clean up the regulatory agencies, get corporate money out of public health, and guarantee free, open, uncensored public and scientific discourse.”
And he follows up with another post saying, “Of course, officials who betrayed the public trust must not be allowed to hold power. I will remove them from their positions and, if laws were broken, my attorney general will prosecute.” So that doesn’t sound like a total wimp-out to me.

Vague statements such as “remove them from their positions” and “if laws were broken…” don’t cut it for me. They are typical politician yammering. I want to hear anger and passion and commitment. I want to hear condemnation for negligence and stupidity as well as “betrayals of trust”. Anything else is just not an appropriate response to atrocities.

RFK Jr’s statement isn’t as bad as all that. It might surprise some, but I just listened to an interview on Epoch Times with Scott Atlas (by Lee Smith) and he pretty much said the same thing.
However, I do disagree somewhat. I am not for punishing wrong decisions in hindsight. However, I think public or government health agency officials who knowingly lied or were purposely deceptive (whether based on agenda, politics, or fear of speaking truth) should be held accountable in some way.
They are going to need bigger charts
But it actually means nothing. The US Government simply proclaims that it has an unlimited credit rating which it alone controls. Therefore, it simply “raises the debt limit” to allow it to “borrow” as much money as it may need to “pay the interest on the debt,” while additionally and in like manner “borrowing” anything else that it may need. Very soon, the national “debt” will exceed a quadrillion dollars, and the only thing that this really says is that, “it is meaningless.”
In short, this gross fiscal irresponsibility is something that the majority of the people on this planet are now going to do away with. If your currency is merely “Rumpelstiltskin gold,” no one else is going to consider it to be “valuable.” Nor should they. There are hundreds of nations on this planet, and hundreds of currencies. “Yours” is not privileged.
The Federal Reserve says that the middle class is causing inflation because the middle class has too much money. Their solution is to make us poorer.
This is how the MSM hands over it’s freedoms to a dictatorship.

Economic Implosion Imminent?
Back in 2008, American Express sensed the economic catastrophe that was coming and cut their credit lines on their “No Limit” cards in half overnight. I had a card that my business charged 60K a month. Paid off the balance every month and paid vendors when the statement dropped and charged it back up. Well, overnight Amex cut the “No Limit” card to 20K…vendor payments were not going through and I had no idea why. Called them and they told me what happened and no way to change things. So, my business lost 40K monthly cash flow overnight. I couldn’t believe it. Thought it was just me and felt like a failure.
Figured that would be part of my update to my business forum of 10 other companies later that week, but by the time it was my turn for an update, 7 other business owners reported the exact same thing. We all had our cash flow crushed overnight. Basically, Amex knew what was coming and they reduced their overall liability in half overnight. Small businesses struggled without the cash flow they depended on and IMHO their actions really just precipitated the crisis as well since virtually every small business was impacted. This was just before the big crash of 2009 that none of us saw happening at the time.
Well, I think it’s happening again. My son has a great business and has multiple AMEX cards. Paid off in full every month like clockwork. He mentioned to me yesterday that Amex reduced his “No limit” Gold card 25K. He couldn’t believe it. Now this morning, all of his Amex cards including a Platinum card were reduced as well.
Curious if other’s have had similar reductions. If so, 2009 is on the way in my opinion.
Amex continues to be their own worst enemy.
They easily could have owned the “road-warrior expense account” business, which would have been eagerly received and vastly profitable.
All they needed to do was to develop a product which had an “unlimited” spend-limit but with the proviso that it must be paid in-full every month. (They could also have specified what it could and could not be used to pay for.) Plenty of legitimate businesses – including this person’s – would have been perfectly happy with that, and would be pleased to let Amex do their expense-accounting for them.
But, they must not impose “a limit.” As long as the balance is paid in-full at the end of the cycle – which they can very easily make part of the legal contract – the transactions must go through. If the customer ever fails to “pay up,” you of course immediately cut them off. But, they won’t.
The business trend today is to destroy your business and destroy capitalism. Look at all the major businesses which pulled out of Russia. Apparently McD’s had a market worth billions and just pulled out. Coke pulled out. No Visa and Mastercard in Russia. Budweiser fiasco. My Pillows fiasco. There is no end to this. Woke Nike. Pro-BLM.
Without question the business trend is to destroy your own business and punish your stockholders.
Intrepid Patriot: AMEX did the same thing to my business AMEX credit line in 2008. AMEX simply informed me one day that they had cancelled my credit line. My payment history with AMEX was perfect. This was on a business credit line product–not on my other AMEX charge cards.
They CC also wrote down balance owed to collect any money at all…..Knew someone who couldn’t pay 10000 balance payments so the company offered to accept 1200 to pay in full.. But the funny thing is the 10000 came out of thin air to begin with.
UPDATE – not a statically significant sample size, but 2 business clients confirmed same thing happened to them yesterday with AMEX. It’s on like Donkey Kong!

““It would appear that the Governor and legislature in the state of Florida are slow walking Floridians into enslavement to The Great Reset. This will include forced vaccination and forced quarantines. The fall of 2024 may commence the fall of Florida.
A health freedom bill in Florida called SB222 was being promoted by various health freedom organizations. The bill according to activists reportedly, “protected people’s vaccination and immunity status, ended all vaccine discrimination, stopped the federal government from getting our medical data, protected our children from EUA vaccines, protected all public and private employees from all vaccine mandates and vaccine passports.”
Apparently, this bill was killed by DeSantis. The alternative bill being promoted, SB252, (Amendment) according to activists, reportedly “forces employees to follow federal government mandates and opens the door to the World Health Organization to control our health policies. The legislation claims to prevent MRNA vaccine mandates, however, that is not permanent, and expires in June 2025.
See lines 188, 243, and 446 of the amendment. It appears a bait and switch designed to sell the free Florida narrative while simultaneously setting up the state to fall to a future planned pandemic under the yoke of the WHO. If you wanted to transition Florida under the umbrella of a global technocracy this would be how to do it. This bill allows the governor to force WHO directives via executive order.
Unfortunately, this is not happening in a vacuum. HB 991 was an anti-free speech bill that was supported by the governor. HB991 would have lowered the threshold for defamation lawsuits and will have a chilling effect designed to inhibit criticism of politicians and government officials. Some frightening aspects of this legislation were that anonymous sources would have to be revealed or the publisher could be subject to a defamation lawsuit and the threshold has been lowered to the point where actual malice is not necessary subjecting cases of simple errors to lawsuits. This bill appeared to target alterative media and individual social media posters. Fortunately, HB991 died in the legislature. Reportedly, the governor was supporting this legislation.
The Florida Bar has already launched a war against free speech by going after the law license of a prosecutor that ran for state attorney in a partisan political race. The attack on this attorney’s license is not based on the practice of law, but on political speech made during a Republican primary race. There clearly is a statewide culture of Statism and animosity toward Natural Rights.”

There doesn’t need to be a long, excellent analysis. Fox News has no evidence that Dominion cheated and the only argument they had is their on-air talent were stating opinions, which are covered under the first amendment. I’m not a lawyer but I don’t think the first amendment applies here. The top executives certainly would not want to be subject to questioning on things they have no answers for. It would probably make things much worse as far as a jury damage award goes.

So how does that resolve – does Mr. Griffin make the settlement?
You cannot sue “the Governor of a State” for being “the Governor of a State.” Likewise the Legislature and the Judges. For very obvious reasons, they enjoy legal immunity from lawsuits questioning the exercise of their Offices. Without which immunity they could never be free to exercise them.
The Florida Legislature took these actions against Disney. But they have every right to do it. “What they once freely gave to your corporation, they can now take away.” No one said you had to like it.
