Mine is Westwood Hills Christian Church located right next to UCLA in Westwood, Los Angeles, Ca. I went there starting in 1980. Non-denominational, Bible only.
If it’s not in the Bible then NO! You can easily figure out what they don’t allow or discuss. Too many churches have compromised what the Bile says, not for me. Come join us, we need more Christians.
Ours is Grace Community Church in L.A., although we have to “attend” via the internet, since we live in northern Minnesota.
We had seriously thought about moving to L.A. eight years ago when deciding where to move in our retirement, just so we could attend Grace in person. But then we decided against such a monumental move (too hot, too busy, too much of everything) and instead are out in the middle of the north woods (where there is still 3′ of snow on our back deck and 5″ of snow on the ground from our Friday snowfall).
Love John MacArthur and the Biblical preaching that comes from all of their pastors.

“Johnny Mac” as we lovingly refer to Pastor John MacArthur. He has been away for several weeks. I pray he is okay. I recently found a new local church – actually recommended by none other than Grace Community!!! Good so far. Still feeling our way around. I also still get to hear Grace’s services since I’m not on the west coast.
Johnny Mac HAS spoken politics from the pulpit. He saw the total decadence of what those in authority are embracing and forcing upon society. He sees it as his responsibility to address these matters of life and death.
John preached the morning service the first weekend in January, the elders knew something was wrong and had someone else preach the late service. They thought John was sick, but instead he ended up having bi-pass surgery. Then while out recovering from that surgery he fell and broke his wrist.
Although they never spoke a word about what was going on with John from the pulpit, like you everyone knew something was going on, since the man loves nothing more than being in God’s house with God’s people. He’s been back now for a couple weeks. Still seems very weak and today it sounded like he has a cold. I think he’s 85 years old, but I hope the Lord restores his youth and vigor, and gives John many more years of pouring God’s word onto all who will hear.
President Trump’s lawyer helped Grace Community Church when they were being sued by both the county and state during the wuflu lock down, and it was a pastor in Canada who’d attended The Mastor’s Seminary (part of Grace Community Church) that was hauled away to a maximum security prison for continuing to hold services during the lock-down.
If you haven’t heard, Grace just finished production on a film that will be released in August titled, ‘The Essential Church,’ and it talks about just that — how we, as the church, are essential and will not bow down to Caesar.

If you watch you can see that the tape Phil Johnson digs for, and then plays, is dated 1975 — when a very young John MacArthur was just starting his service at Grace. To hear what John says in 1975 about the government trying to shut down their church, and then knowing what John did to fight Los Angeles county and the state of California — plus he opened the church and didn’t require anyone to wear a mask or social distance — shows he is just as much a warrior for the Lord at 85 as he was at 29.

Respectfully, I think (at least for ME) this “Bible only” is a ‘cop-out’ and a deception.
The Bible does not specifically address ABORTION, and abortion IS a “political issue” I think everyone would agree.
It is ALSO very much a MORAL issue, and while it may be true the Bible does not specifically address abortion, it consistently addresses MORAL issues, and urges believers to be on the right side of moral issues, and to LIVE the word, with actions in their daily lives, not just talk the talk, but walk the walk.
To each his own, but such a restriction would NOT make a church attractive to me, AT ALL.

Christian Bed and Breakfasts? Christian Wedding venues? Whether or not we address these issues that “are not in the Bible” we are in their crosshairs, and they have no intention of leaving us alone.
Somewhere in the Bible is a mention of God saying He knew us before we were born. Correct? One of the 10 Commandments is against murder. Right?

If you want a place of worship, find a church with a leader who actually teaches from the Bible, and doesn’t try to twist the words into their own version.
Yes, in any church you will find hypocrites, but don’t let them sway you in your beliefs. Usually in a church that is teaching from the Bible, the hypocrites will get drown out & eventually leave or change. Remember, only Christ is perfect.

What I mean is that no bird is allowed to survive. The treatment is to kill sick and healthy. Find one sick, kill all. If 5% survive, then the disease never got near them. They have no resistance.

Just before the pandemic my cat passed away and about three weeks after she passed I woke in the middle of the night because I heard her meow — once woke me and then right after I woke up I heard a second meow — and it was not meowing heard in a dream or because I was sleepy. Desperation has two meanings: one is being reckless out of despair. The other is what RFK was referring to. Namely, in 2016, we sensed we were in a very grave or dangerous situation if Clinton continued Obama’s third term. We had very little to no hope that the Republican candidates would reverse the Obama years. Except for Trump. So, by Merriam Webster’s definition, we would be characterized as ‘desperate’ to see Trump elected.

It’s truly fantastic news to hear some black people are standing up for law and order.
It seems counter productive, however, to blame GOP for the saintly Dem party of Woodrow, Wilson the KKK, Jim Crow etc. I understand the frustration with the GOP, but after 100 years of being blamed for racist Dem policies it is pretty effen hard to court the black vote.
Every black conservative (who should be held up as role models in a sane world) have been called Uncle Tom. To call these people from Booker T. Washington to Clarence Thomas to Ben Carson race traitors is an extremely viscious form of racism who this guy seems to be okay with. Not to mention the poor white Republicans who were lynched along with blacks by the wonderful effen Democrats.
It’s just another huge failure of the Democrat Party who most blacks align with.

Historically, slightly over half of the federal government employees have traditionally crossed the picket line to keep their pay cheque. I suspect when the dust settles, reports will be that slightly under 60% of the federal government employees crossed the picket line.
We may be seeing the beginning of a long strike where most employees ignore the union leadership. This happened in Saskatchewan during the Sasktel strike of 2019.

It sounds crazy but now three congress members have said the Biden Crime Family was involved in human trafficking. While we saw the “basement non campaigning” in 2016 with Hillary, when bizarrely shechad no COVID excuse, 2022 was the first time I recall seeing large #’s of candidates from both Uniparty wings, simply refusing to debate, which I thought was also bizarre and unprecedented.

It is totalitarianism, or neofeudalism, or a fascist global oligarchic corporatism. It is the same kind of thing that has plagued the world throughout all of history: rule by a very few “special” people over an unrepresented majority.
It comes in many names and through many different pathways, from “democracy” gone wrong (Hitler’s Germany) to “revolution” by the little people against a current ruler, and whether it’s been imposed by dictatorship on revolting masses, or stupidly voted for, or implemented on the sneak slowly, it always comes with rationales and philosophies and ideologies to manipulate various groups in the population.
The never-actually-implemented economic theory of communism (and its activist propaganda, “Marxism”), is but one route to the same end result. Ditto the stepping-stone of socialism. Sometimes multiple pathways are in effect at the same time. Monarchy, oligarchy, dictatorship, the fakery of purported “communism” or “socialism”, etc. — all are the same in effect. Rule by a few for their own benefit over the vast unwashed masses.
Actual rule by “The People” in a constitutional republic was a phenomenal change, and one reason this worked, almost incredibly, is that America’s War for Independence was not a typical revolution or uprising by the know-nothing masses, but an organized (and propagandized) revolt against and break-away from the English monarchy led by extraordinarily brilliant men who already were rulers of a sort in the respective colonies. (Nor did it come easily, without much debate and some mistakes, e.g. Articles of Confederation.)
The CCP is not in fact “communist”. It is an oligarchy headed by a strongman. Neither ever was the USSR “communist”, ditto. Communist theory is what inflamed the masses to get their temporary cooperation, and to spill their blood. And “communism” certainly is not what the plotters in Davos, WEF, are intending.
Propaganda of the masses uses the same techniques, whenever there is a goal to persuade, inflame, confuse, disrupt, or dishearten the masses. It is not unique to “communism”. Constantly using the terms “communist” and ‘Marxist” to refer to the evil going on in our midst only shows the perpetrators that their intended peasant-victims really don’t have a clue what’s up and are grasping for explanation without full insight.
