After the speech, President Trump stopped into a local pizza shop, and the place erupted in fun and joy. Yes, in Southwest Florida, this is deep red MAGA country!

The adulation is genuine and the love for people is genuine. It’s without precedent and undoubtedly without anyone who can follow this. Not a fake gesture or a syllable here. You’re probably too young to remember Ronald Reagan. He was no slouch, either!
Reagan might have been a better public speaker than Trump… I’ve seen both speak…but nobody can stand with Trump when it comes to being in a pizza restaurant… he’s the best retail politician ever.
I remember pictures of Reagan on his ranch: jeans, hat, boots, work gloves, mending fences, riding his horse in the morning, then hosting Queen Elizabeth II for tea in the afternoon.
Reagan and Trump are cut from the same cloth. Each was the right man for the right time for the toughest job in the world. Our country has always been blessed that at our most perilous hours, God revealed and raise up HIS man for the job.
It really is quite something that the swells won’t accept that Trump singlehandedly outguns them. Nor why. I said it seven years ago and it remains true to this day, while the stakes couldn’t be higher, on an individual level the driver of what came to be called Trump Derangement Syndrome has always been Resentment.
Not to put too fine a point on it, Trump makes them feel bad about themselves.
How else to explain that as the illegitimate Biden regime triggers a free fall collapse in American power, influence and prestige, along with internal degradation ever more difficult to distinguish from the last days of the Soviet Union or the Yeltsin years, nothing matters more, or even comes close, to destroying Trump.
I mean, seriously, what gave The Meatball the idea he could displace Trump with MAGA. Should a man so lacking in judgement, and so easily misled to political self-immolation by donor money and knuckleheads like Karl Rove of all people, even be considered in 2028.
It doesn’t seem to matter how many times Trump delivers these relentless beatings there is always someone new to take the money to get in the ring with him. Nor do they appreciate, even after the fact, Trump’s mind-blowing methodical planning and execution. I won’t belabor. Suffice to note, he renames DeSantis “Meatball Ron” while also using the incisive “Ron DeSanctimonious” as, essentially as we can now see in hindsight, a distraction. In his interview with Tucker he further laid the predicate with the following great line that most probably missed. He noted that DeSantis would have “probably ended up working in a pizza pie restaurant” if he hadn’t endorsed him after The Meatball came to him “with tears in his eyes” begging for it.
What took place in Fort Myers was the culmination.
This man wields more power than the deep state can ever imagine, a message of hope and joy vs doom and gloom. I see more and more people drawing that distinction. Never Give Up

It’s so nice to see our beloved President Trump when he is out there on main street USA (Love Fort Meyers) interacting with common ordinary everyday people. He’s so comfortable and entirely in his element. And he can walk straight, talk straight and eat pizza. He never gets lost fumbling around dazed and confused or stares ahead blankly. Such a warm, witty and very smart man. I love and miss our great President.
Thirty years ago I was invited to lunch in the Senate cafeteria with my then 9 year old son. We were told to wear appropriate clothing. Then we waited in the hallway for the Senators to be seated before we entered. The lunch was fancy. Most Senators did not pay us any mind. A couple decent ones came over and kidded with us.
