President Trump had done this over and over. His gut instinct is the right one; than he listens to some credentialed phony, annd he goes against his better judgement.
He ends up going against our better judgement too, because it was our judgement that none of the candidates the parties were pushing at us were good enough, but it was this Trump fellow who had the right ideas.
To those who say no Trump didn’t do it, it was the governors, he has owned the lockdowns repeatedly, and as late as CPAC claimed that the entire covid response and the vaxx were the right thing to do.
This didn’t have to be. I kept urging a rapprochement between the two men, and people kept bashing me for saying it needed to be done.
Now we have two men against each other, who together would have made an unbeatable and powerful force to be reckoned with.
BTW Roger Stone understands this too, because he was making noises about offering Bobby Jr. the VP slot.

Agreed in what you say here. PTrump should trust his instincts which are very good, but he was surrounded by arm twisters of the highest order who I would bet threatened a whole bunch of bad things for the country if he didn’t listen and act accordingly. He had to do what he thought gained the most in the end for all of us. Had they removed him then, how badly off would we be right now? Worse than it is I’m sure.
So, not excusing him totally, but there were reasons we don’t even know about for why he did what he did. America first is just that and sometimes in order to get to that, things don’t go the way we would like. Covid mistakes were big ones though for all of the federal and state govts. and for all of us who complied at first thinking we were doing the right things. There are plenty of people in charge who are guilty of great harm to millions of people. Fauci being the lead criminal in most of it.
I also agree about teaming the two men up but RFK has some big conflicts with MAGA policies, including his stance on climate change. Not sure how they could make that work but it would indeed be a formidable team.
IMO, it goes beyond “instincts”. Every government action should be first measured against our Constitution. Our Constituional freedoms were severely limited, some never to be returned.

The whole THRUST of our Constitution is the lay out clear RESTRICTIONS, NOT on the citisenry but on the Government.
So, it SHOULD be inherent that, just as you say EVERY Govt action must be measured against our Constitution.
The Federal Govt has no power over ANY aspect of medicine, “healthcare” or even “public health”.
Federal Govt has no Constitutional power to declare certain substances “Controlled” others “Dr.s Rx only, and still others “OTC”.

I’d rather see RFK run as a third party candidate than as VP on the GOP ticket or in the Dem primary. I agree with him on the problem or business-government collusion to harm the public and enrich a select few, but he’s way off base on other issues. Even if he only got 3-5% as a third party candidate, those votes would come from Dem voters. Similar to Jill Stein in 2016.
I have voted 3rd Party since mid-1990s. No one is ever going to get in that way–it just won’t happen. They can’t even get on the ballots in most states. I voted the way I felt I had to vote, but in the end it is a losing proposition.
President Trump was right on climate change (his instinct) but wrong on the vaxx and the whole response (not his instinct).
Bobby is right on the vaxx (his life’s work) but wrong on climate change. I think he may be willing to belive the wrong thing on climate (which is not a fraud he came up with) because he is against fossil fuels for other reasons, so the climate con bolsters his case.
There is some validity to RFK Jr.’s environmental/health concerns relating to fossil fuels.
The question is, we need fuel, so what is the best approach, as we also need clean water and breathable air?
President Trump didn’t have much time to deal with environmental issues, but what he was doing, emphasizing clean air/clean water was in my opinion the right thing, and when fuel policy conflicts with those things fine minds can sit down together and figure it out.

Like you, I believe that President Trump was absolutely lied to by many of his “top advisors” specifically his SIL Jared Kushner, along with Judas Pence and Tony Fauxi.
I think he was told that a bio weapon had been released and that the lockdowns were necessary to keep the country safe until a vax could be developed, at which time he would be a hero and would win re-election in a landslide.
Dr. Scott Atlas said that the President wanted to reopen everything but was talked out of it,unfortunately. As you said, he should have gone with his gut!

The heartbreaking part is that, when a person or persons unknown had been advising him against taking Bobby on, he (Trump) still wanted to establish an autism commission. That had been on my wish list for the new president, and he heard us, and he was going to do it.
I don’t know what happened there, but it seems that the people who didn’t want him delving into the vaccine issues didn’t want him looking at autism either.
My understanding is that it was none other than Bill Gates who warned Donald Trump NOT to get involved with RFK Jr…sadly, the President listened to him and cancelled the panel that Kennedy was set to lead. Throughout Covid it the states held the sole authority to make decisions about lockdowns.
President Trump worked to make PPPs and hospital space available (Navy ships).
Early on therapeutics were his strongest focus. President Trump twisted Modi’s arm to get India to provide us with a massive supply of hydroxychloroquine so it could be available to everyone for free.

If you recall, during Covid, medical offices shut down and hospitals closed down all elective procedures. People were not getting needed surgeries, needed cancer care, cardiac care. People began to die from lack of access to healthcare.
The state run lockdowns also threatened to crater the economy if allowed to continue. A crushed, flattened economy kills people too.
Bottom line:
President Trump has a history of preferring therapeutics. But every therapeutic had been smeared by dark actors with a complicit media. The states would not open without the vaccine. He faced a Kobayashi Maru scenario, a no-win situation.
He chose the one path the states would accept to reopen the country (and thereby to bring back access to regular medical care, and bring an economy back from the brink.) and that was the vaccine they demanded for reopening.
If President Trump had entered the white house in 2021 there would have been no mandates.
While the Biden Administration throttled all therapeutics, including monoclonal antibodies, President Trump would have done the opposite; he would have made sure the therapeutics were readily accessible.

Thank you for your post. I don’t recall President Trump mandating anything. He relied on the Task Force which recommended shutting down for 14 days to slow the spread. This was because it was being reported that hospitals were being overwhelmed.
Most every other western country in the world, except Sweden, shut down and they were highly criticized at the time.
There was so much misinformation about Covid and deaths and therapeutics and masks and touching your face and, and, and. The whole world was totally overreacting because of all the misinformation. PEOPLE ARE DYING!!

This has to be one of the hardest series of decisions any leader has to make and the decisions also affected what the world would do, and President Trump had to make the decisions in a political arena (being constantly portrayed as an egomaniac and someone with no government experience who shoots from the hip).
Yes President Trump has listened to people we would rather he not, but in this case he did the best possible. More importantly, it was only through what the dems and the powers that be did to him in those four years (like his science advisors lying about covid) that opened many people’s eyes about the depth of corruption. That understanding was still coming to light when he made covid decisions. I don’t think even he realized the globalist want to destroy our country. Now he does and so do many people.

I am not blaming him for the actions he took in March 2020 – everything was chaotic and I believe he was lied to…BUT I would still have preferred that he had come out in fall of 2020 or definitely in spring of 2021 and SAID that he was lied to and specifically given the names of those who lied to him! I do realize that it was a no-win situation, as the media was (and still is) firmly on the side of those who were doing the lying!
If I knew better than he does about what President Trump should do then I would tell him. But I don’t and neither does anyone else. He is the “man in the arena” and he needs our support, not our belief he should follow our advice. We can disagree with him but to think we know better is hubris unless you want to take his place in the arena. I wouldn’t last five minutes.

Every possible operational and environmental parameter measured and telemetered in realtime, they can replay the entire event in a software dynamical model of the operational spacecraft, microseconds at a time.
There was a ground video shot up the tailpipes as she was rising that was fascinating, the dead Raptors really stood out in relief.
And this booster was 2 or 3 iterations behind current designs so many of the issues that affected today’s launch have already been anticipated and corrected. They will be ready for another test shortly and should still be on track for a “real” launch by the end of 2023. They have something like six new Starships ready to go now, and a few more under construction.
This booster was old, and basically one of a kind. It had hydraulic steering motors and an older overall engine design. The newer designs have electric steering motors similar to the regular SpaceX boosters that put satellites into space once a week or so. Several of the engines failed to light or failed early in this launch, including a steering motor (there are only three) and likely main engine cutoff failed for a few of these older engines which meant the first stage could not separate and there was basically zero steering at that point. Hence the aerobatics. It was surprising it held together so well despite flopping around like a fish.
Rhodesian Airforce Hawker-Hunter. With these jets they dominated the airspace until the UK starting giving African nations missiles and jets that put them at risk. A big betrayal.
I can fondly remember the days of going to Cape Canaveral and watching the jets & shuttles.

I am still in awe over booster landings, got to a perfect sunset F9 launch and landing a few months back, from the causeway in Titusville. I was on my boat in the Indian River there for the 4 days it took to launch the first Space Shuttle, with John Young on the stick.
I watched Challenger explode from East Orlando a few years later, stepping outside away from work for the occasion. A true heartache, echoing long after – Onizuka, McNair, Scobee, Smith, Resnick, still remember the names, just like Grissom and White and Chafee years before.
I was no longer in Florida when Columbia broke up over Texas. My hat is off to all these people.

We should not be starting over and we should have kept Shuttle and Titan running as we built the next generation.
America let our space expertise and knowledge atrophy. I for one, had invaluable experience in systems software but never went back. That was the case for thousands of engineers and scientists. Like all things great in American, our space program was a target of the global agenda early on.
Challenger disaster was caused by the politization of the program pushing launch rates beyond the limits of the systems. The company I worked refused to renew our contract because most of the engineering scenarios ended up with a disaster.

Absolutely concur – a wildly successful first flight for a wildly creative, intensely imagined and magnificently realized vision supporting a goal of extending human life beyond Earth into planetary space.
Fly it ’til it breaks, figure out why, then fly it again. You can be so afraid of failure that you never accomplish anything.
I like that it pirouetted a number of times as the systems tried to figure it out before the flight termination systems activated.. It gathered a lot of good data.
If I’m not mistaken, clearing the tower gave them the record for largest launch vehicle successfully launched. IDK whether it was due to some engines not firing but it appeared the rocket didn’t go straight up, rather jogged a bit away from the tower before going vertical. It appears launch damage to the tower and pad were minimal, impressive since apparently there’s no flame channel or trench, just regular concrete.
I remember the RUD videos Elon used to make when they were developing Falcon 9. They had a lot of failures, crashes and terminations and that wasn’t breaking much new ground other than landing the booster part. Starship is a completely new realm.

The frustrating thing is that Trump is still be behind the vaxx. And hasn’t even said anything about it’s deadly effects.
Yes, he was in a tough position and lied to originally. But mountains of evidence have come out since that refute what he is still saying.

The vaxxine modifies the genetic material of the vaxxinated.
Sadly most vaccines have side effects that result in death, even if it’s just in a handful of cases.
All vaccines carry risk, the difference this time is they didn’t take it off the market like they did during the swine flu outbreak, and I believe they actively tried to cover up the side effects.
Why would you want to blame Trump for this? He trusted the medical and pharmaceutical experts as well as the FDA and others. This is on them and it is up to Congress to get to the bottom of everything.
Trump thought he was doing the right thing to speed up the trials for a vaccine. He also pushed for other therapeutics such hydroxychloroquine, and others. He was opposed to the mandates from the beginning, always arguing it was a decision for each person to make on their own. How was he to know it would go sideways for many?
You also have to account for the millions who took the vaccine and boosters and have had no side effects. Trump is one of these people since he is vaccinated and probably boostered as well.
What if the Dems decide to allow Kennedy to get the nomination, but only if he chooses an LBJ type to be his VP?

This explains a lot and makes sense as to why corporations are willing to anger their base, at least, temporarily in order to gain a long term advantage. The long term advantage is approval by regulators to achieve a monopoly or near monopoly. And, the monopoly and near monopoly allows the government to impose their will, cultural or otherwise, onto the business more easily since it is the government giving such advantages. It fits in another sense. It occurred to me that the looting in dem cities is a way for dem’s to allow their constituents, the looters, to have more hand outs free of charge. The looting and the absence of law enforcement is a for dem’s to give free stuff to their constituents and ‘earn’ their votes.
In the big picture, these tactics are almost identical. By breaking the law, the government allows corporations or looters to gain advantages that should not have. Once these advantages are given then the government was strong influence over the corporation or looters. It is, as usual, brilliant.
Oh, you say that their consequences? You say that it hurts us all. Well, yes, you are correct. The last mortgage crisis was instigated by the government as described in the article and everybody else ad nauseam. The looters destroy businesses and people get killed in the crossfire. Then, the government steps in to save people who cannot afford their homes, blames evil corporations for pulling out of neighborhoods, and the killing, well, they are blamed on guns. Again, the left wins again. They win tearing it down and win by giving aid and deceptive narratives.
How does AB win? The article implies that they may receive approval to merge with another beer company and own a bigger share of the market. And, surprisingly, the biggest customer for bud is the government so the government will probably increase purchases to help out.

High end luxury cars abound.
Yet we now have mini ( for now) homeless camps.
The wealthy don’t care, they live in gated condos or luxury gated houses.
Their kids if they have any, go to a local private school that has expanded three times in the last thirty years.
I am looking across the street at a 5800 square foot house, it is about 15 years old , 18 months ago a Chinese couple paid something like $2.4 million for the place, and within 6 months they spent something like $600,000 on renovations.
Their kids go to the private school.
