Sure. I would add that all forms of government, all news, all social media, all religion, and this site also run primarily on fear, and secondarily anger as a deflection of that fear.
Most people can’t face death in the face, nor any threat leading to it.
There’s much to fear in the current world, but CTH is attempting to educate and prepare us so we don’t have to be afraid.
As for anger, we should be very angry at what has/is happening, not just here but across the world. CTH also helps show how we can turn that anger into action. Perhaps try reading here a bit more.

We love our credit union and have been members for years. It’s such a pleasure to go there where everyone is friendly and knows you. Their interest rates on loans are always good and the help they give is always quite exceptional. We also have an account at a larger bank, but the comparison on service and attitude of the people there is quite different. Much more businesslike than friendly. We haven’t had any issues with the big bank, yet anyway.
Ask them about their online presence… Social Media exposure, etc. Employers typically dig up folks’ Social Media history as part of the hiring process… wouldn’t be surprised if those Wells Fargo m-f’ers do something like that.

Worse than that. One went to open a bank account at a different bank, and the lady opening his account decided to check on the status of his driver’s license. In less than 15 seconds she was pulling up his records from the DMV. Didn’t Florida pass a law within the last few years to keep DMV records out of private hands? I’ve seen that myself when my dog got loose and went to jail. I was dealing with the County supervisor to convince her that he was a working farm dog and therefore not eligible to be castrated. She was able to pull up my Veterinary records from four different places in seconds. I was stunned. And that was a couple years ago
