Yep, fuel dumps over the drone just as claimed. Note how the MiG and fuel over the drone attenuates the satellite link and causes digital artifacting in the video link. On the last pass, the MiG got too close and the fuel load was so dense that it damaged the propeller which is not designed to handle liquids.
I have to say, that’s a very clever way to destroy a drone without actually touching or shooting at it.

I seriously doubt rain would ever be as bad as a nearby fuel dump. I think they were actually going for an engine compartment fire caused by ingested fuel although jet fuel has a high flash point. Maybe just an engine flooding could have been a desired effect which may have been recovered from by an engine restart.
Anyway, I’ve since seen a still image of the damage on one prop and there is no way it was from anything other than a physical impact. The prop opposite from it lost its pitch control because the two props probably operate off of a common pitch gear mechanism which was damaged by the impact on the one prop.
Yeah, I just read more about what they did and why. It wasn’t about “liquid”, but about choking the drone engine out with excess fuel. Makes sense.

It’s a turboprop, so it is a small turbine engine using a fuel control system that injects fuel via a spray ring in the combustion section.
Choking in the sense of constricting airflow isn’t possible with these, I think “flooding” might be a more apt term, though I honestly don’t know precisely what was hoped to be achieved with the fuel dump other than the harassment aspect of it.
One possibility is simply hoping to overwhelm the engine with excessive fuel to either attenuate or accentuate the fuel burn rate, producing a hiccup of sorts which can result in a compressor stall and a flame out.
I never worked these, so don’t know the restart capabilities.
It does appear the Russians were determined to take it down, and I don’t blame them a bit.

Run it a .25 speed, stop it at 1:29, observe the propellers have distinctive yellow stripes at the tips, well lit and reflecting sunlight from the front, with some sparse well defined clouds in the background.
Then run it to 1:52, preferably in a second window so you can bounce back and forth for comparison; there are NO yellow stripes on the propeller tips, the blades appear much darker as if the sun is in a different position, the background clouds are different, more monolithic and dull as opposed to the individual clearly defined clouds in the other frame.
Oh, good grief, I just realized one more inconsistency here, the prop blade is bent the wrong way. No matter the speed differential between this drone and a fighter, that prop tip is the fastest thing moving in this picture, so when it makes contact with another aircraft it will be bent away from the direction of rotation, not into it.
These are fabrications, the underlying elements are real but from separate sources and a most probable helping of photoshop.
This particular presentation is indisputably TWO SEPARATE clips, possibly with some photoshopping involved.
The question is why would our Derps present such a farcical presentation to assert that their drone was damaged by a propeller strike?

My pleasure, ‘Nanas. The ginger takes some “getting used to” to say the least. It helps with my back pain more than anything. The immune system boost, improved digestion, the powerful anti cancer properties and the healing action on the liver and pancreas are all bonuses. I eat walnuts to balance out all the zinc in the garlic. I haven’t had so much as the sniffles even during a brutal oak pollen onslaught.
For years, I’ve read the WSJ. They barely critiqued Obama when he was president, ignoring much of his weaponry on our great nation. Now, every week, just about, they go after Trump, Trump, Trump, claiming Biden will beat him.
The WSJ was once center-to-right. Their reporters are now center-to-left. The op-ed section tilts center-establishment right. The clingers and deplorables don’t count.
Just about all media is state sponsored propaganda. I’ve reduced my exposure considerably I check the news here other than what I can’t avoid in my browsing, inadvertent radio/tv surfing. I know the propaganda narratives from osmosis.
I cancelled my subscription to the WSJ about 8 years ago. I had been getting it for almost 40 years. When I noticed that the same stories were showing up in the Washington Compost, I know it was just an extension of the Compost. Switched to Epoch Times, but they seem to be copying the old WSJ format. They have good articles but many of the articles are puff pieces. Not happy with anything anymore.

The editorial board consists of people with views like Romney and Bush. Overall it is not significantly different from NY Times on its news pages. They do have some decent op eds and ok columnists, but overall, it is very establishment.

It took decades of propaganda to inflame the German people’s hatred of European Jews such that they’d become second-class citizens unworthy of the simplest of rights, such as dining in a public restaurant, and eventually unworthy of even receiving medical care.
In a matter of only two years in the supposedly free West, we had mass swathes of people (or, at least the appearance of mass swathes of people on social media) openly wishing hardship and death upon their countrymen that simply chose not to inject a new, frantically concocted, unproven drug into their bodies to offset a risk that was and is, for the vast majority of people, scarcely more dangerous than the common cold or flu. Not only did restaurants refuse service to these people as a matter of policy in places like New York City, but these people were fired from their jobs, and hospitals in some places began openly refusing life-saving services to patients if a particular individual had the audacity to not have goose stepped to the local pharmacy for not eins, but zwei doses of the new drug.
again i will say: the only way ANY of them EVER faces any justice is if the people drag them into the streets to do so. and i don’t mean that figuratively. there will NEVER be a court, a governing body, ANYTHING at any level of importance, nor with any force of actual punishment behind it – that will do so.

Maybe because Congress isn’t a law enforcement agency, and its hearings are a waste of time without a Department of Justice that will look at its findings (supposedly for “legislative purposes”) and referrals and go “oh shit, there’s a crime here, let’s do something.”
