FTA “When someone has had success in beating off a global pandemic, shouldn’t they maybe get some kind of laurels? At a minimum, it would makes sense to learn what they learned so as to get the same result. That’s how actual science works, or at least, it did…Not to the global bureaucrats of the World Health Organization (WHO), which can’t stop telling African countries on a continent that has great success in beating COVID, what to do.
What part of ‘succeeded’ do they not understand? The Africans did not follow the great lockdown strategies seen in China, most of Western Europe, and most of the U.S., which is why their populations were able to acquire natural immunity as the virus mutated to weaker and weaker versions of itself, which is how pretty much all pandemic viruses play out. They also used ivermectin and other known kill-it-dead cures for the disease, having the widely available and inexpensive treatment available over the fancy-schmancy newest treatments developed by Big Pharma. In addition, not having the resources, they didn’t pursue a mass vaccination strategy which has led to a host of suspected problems in the populations that did, from myocarditis and blood clots that often led to death in young people, to the emerging issue of suspected mass infertility from the vaccines. If that one turns out to be true, I wrote about that issue here, Africa can now look forward to ruling the earth because after the jabbed populations go extinct, they will be among the few who are left.
Doesn’t mean a thing to the WHO, which demonstrates to the rest of us that they aren’t about science, or inquiry, or all of those other supposedly superior western educational values. They should be begging the Africans for advice about how to handle the next pandemic or how to replicate those results, or at a minimum, telling them to just keep doing what they are doing, but instead they are pushing their own bad solutions on them, never mind the evidence that’s standing right there in their faces….It shows they are not about science but about preserving and perpetrating their own power.”

My husband lived for many years, over 15 years, after having to have his pericardium sac around the heart removed after developing pericarditis.

I really enjoyed seeing, once again, a performer lip-syncing while wearing “Satan Red”. Thankfully, I could not understand her words but I noticed that there were many times when her lips were not moving but her singing came out of the speakers. She did not even try to lip sync properly. Every song sounded the same and not in a good way. All in all, it was a dismal performance. Even the dancers in their puffy hazmat suits were insulting to moral people.
I guess that is what our culture has become.

Even in those times as Solomon said centuries before Plato stated there was “nothing new under the sun”. But, some very important steps were taken that became known distinctly as Western…the concept of democracy, or one man one vote.

This is why in the long run as in ancient times the collapse of the USA will not be etched into history, but how this charter of divine providence will prevail. This doesn’t mean we are not proactive, I know it’s cliché, but, “even David had to pick up a rock”.
My point, this struggle is as ancient of man’s existence on this mortal coil, a constant clash between Good & Evil. We must keep God and prayer as our first line of defense. Stand with our Constitution and Founders we will be victorious over evil. Live in the demons matrix of lies and deceit and this will take much longer to correct.
Everything is corrupt, nothing is off the table, the more despicable the better, if kills or hurts people the happier the demons will be. One of their “great” leaders Saul Alinsky in his Rules for Radicals dedicated his evil treatise to Lucifer as the original radical.
In truth our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the original rebel in His teachings that were considered radical in His time changed the world. Keep God and prayer first, but like Christ with the money changers in His Father’s House the Temple we may have to clean these demons out of our world.
Be prepared, stay alert, keep God and family close as these demons are out in the open now and it is our duty to cast these demons into darkness.
Greg Gutfield has a Superbowl ad promoting his show and the left does not like it. Really? So what. Greg has the only night show trying to be funny about politics. If he misses the mark, he often has on guests who are very funny. It is light banter.
We used to watch Craig Ferguson on late night before they cancelled him. He was a great interviewer and had a funny show. Even Jay Leno was quite watchable no matter your political leanings. No more. Colbert, SNL etc. are propagandists, impossible to watch.

Dishwashers were already more efficient than washing by hand, if you believe the engineers, and no appliance is efficient if it does not get the job you need it for done.

The new useless LG “Save the World!” piece of garbage was the home equivalent of Hollywood stars taking private jets to a carbon reduction conference in Switzerland.

Exactly. Forget all the bells and whistles, find one with knobs not digital push buttons and I think there is a Maytag washer that actually uses water to wash clothes. But check that out…washing clothes in no water doesn’t work…duh….
As some-one who ran a Laundrette for more than thirty years , and did my own repairs , I can tell you that Maytag were taken over and replaced with Junk some years ago. ……… If you want a good wash , fewer repairs , and a longer usable life , you buy SpeedQueen .

Yes, I heard Speed Queen was still reliable although I have a friend who bought one and it broke down almost immediately.
I have a top load without the middle agitator; agitator is in the bottom.
It has an option for “deep fill” and I use it all the time so I get decent
water fillage. It is a GE.
And hang on to any old ones that still work properly. I am mourning the old washer and dryer I replaced 3 years ago. The new ones suck.

I also have a Wolf range and have had no issues; no bells and whistles
and no clock.
That appears to be the name of the game these days. Buy new,it breaks, throw it out and buy another one that will break in another year and throw it out again. Nobody can fix them cause they are not made in the U.S. and nobody wants to go to china or mexico to learn how to fix them anyhow, just replace them when they break…..besides, they are not made to be fixed like they were in the “olden days” when there was a repair person in every town.

The newer generations of refrigerators don’t fit in the kitchens of older homes and, designed to be”energy efficient,” they need more juice than the electric lines give. So they never work right. Maintaining rentals up to code just isn’t a thing here I guess.
My grandparents had one of the ancient “monitor top” fridges from the fifties that worked great for almost 60 years until my Mom replaced it for a bigger one. (that died after 6 years)
IDK why I ever ditched that Electrolux vacuum cleaner. Maybe I couldn’t find bags for it anymore. That thing was built to last!

Bought a samsung 4 door frig…..love the design…lighting and space usage…no wire racks. The ice maker broke down every 3 months…..They did make good on refund to get new one and into almost a year with no problem. Fingers crossed.
We got a Samsung and like it. But the main glass shelf shattered and we are having lots of fun trying to get a replacement.
Samsung is good for electronics but I would never buy anything else from them. They had a washing machine that caught on fire.
Best bet is whirlpool. Remember RCA? Use to be best in TV brands.

How many times do you have to re-flush a “water-saving toilet” in order to get it to actually work? Yeah, me too. (Never mind that “water” is never actually “consumed …” It is pulled from the ground or from the river, and eventually it goes back there.)

I discovered shortly after buying my LG clothes washer some years ago that it did not clean my clothes. I have to go through the wash and rinse cycle twice to that my clothes no longer smell bad.
Also, the water pump goes bad every six months. I always keep a spare on hand, and I have learned how to tear the maching apart (literally disassembling the thing into pieces) just to replace the pump.
I hate my LG washer and wish that I had the old top loader. My wife insists that the new washer is better (she is short and has trouble with top loaders), but in my experience, I never had to replace the water pump on my old top loader, and it would have been easier if I did.
Retired Magistrate here: Keep your old appliances! We have a 40 year old GE refrigerator in the basement, works great. Our “newer” Kenmore refrigerator is 22 years old and we had to replace a fan several years ago for $180. Whirlpool electric stove is 13 years old, works great, Whirlpool washer 15 years old, and Kenmore dryer 22 years old. All work the way they are supposed to.
Our 35 year old Half Pint microwave finally bit the dust. My husband tried to fix it but could not find the correct replacement parts, so we got a new one. I will be surprised if this one lasts a year.
Just because something is “new and improved” does not mean it is better. Appliances don’t need to tell you the time, monitor usage, provide 15 different settings to wash and dry clothes or talk back to you. They just need to do what they were intended to do: wash, dry, cook and keep cold.

My wife says just because I’m almost 77, most of my parts are still working as she intended.
I had a 1950’s refrigerator in my house from 1972 – 2000….always worked, no problems. I sold the house for all I know it is still there. No self defrost so cheaper to run. You had to manually thaw out the freezer which was very small. We had freezer in the basement to supplement. I had a gas stove that, well, might have been from the 40’s…never a problem, always worked had a cast iron oven that was great. Once that baby heated up it was steady and did not move in temperature…great for baking bread. Never owned a microwave never will….bad for the health.
I have a 1939 GE electric refrigerator that keeps my beer very cold. I defrost the iceberg inside every summer.
There was a waffle iron …electric ….my Grandmother made the best waffles ever. The new expensive irons don’t even touch it. Have searched for it online at ebay but to no avail. Had 2 wood handle pulls for the 2 sides and was silver and had a light that turned red when done. Can remember how many waffles it made on each side . Anyone familiar?

we had a late 40’s-50’s sunbeam like you describe. It lasted a really long time until we decided to replace it with a new model which absolutely sucks. My wife did not like the cord as it looked dirty but had no visible fray, and the fact that it was only 2 prong.

After living with an energy-efficient Samsung front loader, I took the advice of my local appliance repairman and bought a Speed Queen. American made with an agitator and does the job the first time with no fuss or bother.

We also got a Speed Queen at the recommendation of our local dealer and it is great. The company also makes machines for laudromats, so they know how to do a sturdy machine. It is a top-loader with agitator, and does a great job on the spin dry cycle. AND, it is American made.
I have a commercial Maytag washer/ dryer from 1995. If it ever croaks, I’m going speed queen too. My appliance guy can get them quickly.

I am looking to buy a washer/dryer and was planning to go with the LG brand, as it makes one with both washing and drying in its same unit (combined washer/dryer). I had no idea it was not a good machine.

Hi Rita, I’ve HATED my LG washer and dryer (digital) from the get-go, five years ago.
Especially washer with no agitator. Its water-saving feature does not allow enough water to cover clothes and no way to manipulate that. Sometimes after spin cycle, there is an odor like burning rubber? Had it checked out and they said it’s ok. Should have done more research before purchasing! Next one will have an agitator, with simple knobs that I can control! No digital!

We were up against a wall when our vehicle had a circuit board that was shot, and we could not get an exchange part from the dealer for less than $500. Once they got the board, it was repaired within 24 hours, and works perfectly! The cost was $179. I am witnessing, as I see them seated primly in rows in a Congressional hearing room, the very faces — the somber, ill-cut but costly blue suits, the bad wire-rimmed glasses, the judgmental expressions — of those who were personally responsible for the misery, trauma, reputational damage, shattered dreams, and loss of income, in my one life, over the course of last two and a half years.
Here at last are the very people who took it upon themselves, or who oversaw their colleagues, to single me out, to collude with the White House, and with Carol Crawford of CDC, and with DHS perhaps, to suspend me — following an accurate tweet of mine that warned women of menstrual harms following mRNA injection.
The positions of these people, the views of them — their self-regarding, self-satisfied, smug certainty that their rightness is the only rightness that could ever be — do not remind me of the testimony or views of actual Americans. They remind me rather of the affect of functionaries in a Stalinist show trial, or of the nameless bureaucrats in Kafka’s The Trial.

UKRAINE INVASION PLAN PROVOKED WAR:
In early 2022 Ukraine had finished the preparations for an overwhelming attack on the renegade People Republics of Donetsk and Luhansk (DPR and LNR).
Half of the Ukrainian army, some 120,000 men recruited and trained during the last 7 years, were stationed near the ceasefire line and ready to go. On the opposing side only some 40,000 men were under arms. They would have little chance to withstand an onslaught.
Russia could not let a Ukrainian attack happen. If Ukraine could regain the renegade provinces it would have been able to join NATO. Russian public opinion was decisively on the side of the Russian speaking DNR and LPR. It would surely demand an intervention. Since the 2014 coup in Kiev some four million Ukrainians had already moved to Russia. There are lots of family ties between the two countries. In sight of this Russia had put some of its own forces on alert and had moved weapons and munition to assembling points near the Ukrainian border.
The U.S. had for months warned of an upcoming Russian attack on Ukraine. It could do that because it knew the Ukraine would attempt to regain the republics by force. It knew that Russia would have to respond. On January 12 2022 CIA director Bill Burns had secretly met Zelensky in Kiev. Burns often carries messages from President Joe Biden.
On Sunday February 13 2022, after a phone call with U.S. president Joe Biden, the Ukrainian president Zelensky gave the final order for the planned Ukrainian attack.
That the decision had been made was immediately leaked in London as well as in Kiev.
In its summary of the day the Guardian listed a lot of activities that were consistent with the imminent start of a conflict. Diplomats and foreign military were moving out of Ukraine. Weapons flew in.
Tipped off by its government the British insurance conglomerate Lloyd stopped reinsurance services for anything Ukraine:

This would appear to be taken from a window outside the voting place. The traffic is very noisy and very constant behind the person taking the video. These are working people who came inside to vote, stopped off the very busy road and their votes are not being counted. The ONE JOB these machines had to do, once or twice a year, and it was nothing but a steady stream of constant REJECT, REJECT, REJECT.
And I personally was listening to the news that day and this started right out of the gate and continued all day and into the night. Charlie Kirk’s hair was on fire early AM, byatching, I told you not to wait, blah, blah, blah.
It should not be this way and it should have been fixed IMMEDIATELY.

While what you say is quite true, I would also think the demonrats are realizing too many black and brown people who do want the dream are moving out of the plantation and getting out and seeing grass is greener….when you do have grass. They can’t have people becoming too independent. Lots of those folks moved out when they could move out. The cities are chasing them too.
My next door neighbor is black and there are a lot of middleclass blacks live in my neighborhood. I hope they wouldn’t want section 8 housing across the street? I wish the smaller cities would form a coalition and resist and tell ChiCom Joe keep your Federal dollars rather than have him destroy the suburbs where they live. My friend who is a social worker years ago had really high rent and was appalled when one of her clients got a bigger apartment basically free 2 doors down. That’s welfare – the welfare client was living in the same building as her social worker and in a bigger apartment to boot.

While the rest of America was gearing up for the Super Bowl Sunday, the Bureau of Labor Statistics revised Q4 inflation numbers higher on Friday.
This is actually huge news.
Preprogrammed algos bought billions in stock off of November and December CPI off of faulty assumptions about inflation going away easily, which sparked the huge rally.
The inflation revisions are a double whammy. Higher inflation not only has implications for Fed policy but also means that corporate profits are worse than they appear as well.
BLS has been doing this for many years. It’s a big spin show.
It’s the original report that the MSM always trumpets upon release.
They always quietly revise the numbers months later: negatively for Democrat Administrations, and positively for Republican ones. Because the media has moved on to the next shiny laser pointer dot.
