Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

Hello there, Leon.
Morning Patience! Doing nothing, what is that? 😍
Hi, Pa❣️❣️❣️
Ha… Now don’t let it make ya lazy😂.
Hope you have a lovely day; doing what YOU want. 💖
Absolutement , Leon !
😊Happy Friday🌺🙋♀️
Is that a tail or an out-of-focus cute little striped rodent sharing that comfy cat bed?
Our little, solid black refugee looks like she’s swallowed a small pumpkin. We expect a litter any day now.
Our big bruiser male has been gone for a month.
Howdy Frank, hopefully he is OK.
#Metoo, Frank and G. We had a feral female at our B&B for a long time, the mother of a few litters we simply couldn’t catch. Had to wait till the products of her dirty stop outs were big enough to grab, but not big enough to run away and hide. Then one day she didn’t appear…and that was that. Over two years now, and I still wonder and worry for her.
Howdy 🤠
Assuming you’ve set up a place for her…do please keep us up to date for the imminent arrivals.
Pictures of the babes as they’re growing up would be ideal.
I’ll try. 😊
That would be SO wonderful. It’s been so long since I’ve watched little ones grow up, it would be something to look forward to with so much excitement.
I’m all for that!
We locked her in our muck out room with food, water, litter box, and a custom made, domed bed.
I’ll you posted sis. 🤟
Fit for a queen!!! Which she no doubt considers herself. Quite right. The Queen Mother…you may curtsy, my friend🤗
Congratulations on the coming additions to your family. Very exciting.
“Our big bruiser male has been gone for a month.”
A long time ago I had a really pretty male cat, cream colored. He was so cool as a youngster: but then he started wanderin’ off for days at a time. I thought he had adopted another family up the street. Well, after a while of him coming back, and taking off; one day he never came back at all; not for about a year and a half. I was shocked and scared actually, when I saw him: he was bigger of course, full grown; but his head was huge! like a wildcat! By that time I had inherited a new little orange tiger guy from a neighbor; and he was really playful. So when “the Bruiser” came into the apartment, I was first of all not sure he would be cool with me still; plus this little guy could have been an easy snack! Well thank God, he stayed cool and didn’t let the little rambunctious kitten go on his nerves. After hanging out for about 45 minutes, he took of, and that was the last I saw him.
Funny how things remind you of things! 🙂
Isn’t it? The number of times through a comment I see, memories of this or that come flooding back of things I hadn’t thought of in sometimes years.
And that’s what so brilliant about this thread in particular. The sharing of such stories so others might perhaps remember things in their lives, also buried but suddenly coming to the fore.
Loved your story, Michael.
You have to fix the male cats or they go roaming in the spring. Tough on them in some ways, especially if people chase them away or they get hit by cars.
Yeah, I understand about it “being for their good” but I’m still not comfortable with doing that to anyone. I don’t like it on animals or people.
I’m ready for my close up, Mr DeMille…
Morning, Betsy💖

Morning, my friend…and to your beautiful Ma😘😘
Working on the second cuppa right now, with an intervening coffee.
For some reason, this makes me think of Blofeld’s white cat actually being the criminal mastermind and Blofeld being the cat’s puppet. This cat is definitely deep thinking scary thoughts.
That’s what I was trying to remember, Mary. Stirring in my memory that I had seen that cat somewhere. Thank you!
Morning Ya’ll 🙂
Looks like a gianormous prehistoric alligator
-with an army’s firing.
I was thinking of a whale breeching 😁
That as my very impression as well. A second look caused question of us it above clouds on coming out of water.
But upon a closer look
-without glasses (🤔)
😎
Dang
“IS it above clouds”
This was actually the last shot on the roll. The photographer was never recovered; only his camera had washed up on shore. There is some suspicions among the locals; and no one goes out there anymore.
Such a story-tellerj
Sorry! I guess that wasn’t funny. I’ll try to be more sensitive.

Morning Mr jay!
Look what I found!
A short musical stick to poke the day with…better than 5 cups of coffee drunk one right after the other!
Listen to this and I’m ready to go.
Good morning Bet! Another busy day in store for me. ❤️
Well, your Ahnold muscles will see you through. I pray it is that kind of busy😘
I’m squeezing in a workout right now, than I’ll wash the car from all the dog hauling the past few days, then we’ll be taking my SIL for her pacemaker check. Thankfully we can avoid Austin and are going to one of the local smaller towns but it’s still 110-120 miles round trip. 😘
Drive safe❣️
Oh good…anything you can do to avoid Austin. I’d call doing so taking the scenic route.
Can’t believe I actually lived there and what has become of it.
I’m with Patience…be safe. Hoping all will be well with your SiL🙏🏻
Pacemaker working great. No
Good news!!! Need more of it❤
Finally home and will chill for the rest of the day. 🙂
Good idea! Relax and recharge. Tomorrow awaits!💕
Mhmm. Retired my eye! 🙌
😂😂😂…I didn’t like to say
Maidin Mhaith Betsy 5 cups and that piece I’d be like a fly bouncing off the milk house wall on a hot day boing zoom splat 😂😂
It really is one of the happiest compositions I know and has been a favourite of mine for a long time.
And it’s 5 cups OR that piece, dear sir😁…
Not AND!!!
The composer, Louis Moreau Gottschalk by the way was an American composer, despite the sound of his name. Lived in New Orleans.
Nahlense 😎😎
Yep…that’s the place all right😁👍🏻
Morning jay!

IS YOUR IMAGINATION OF GOD STARVED?
“Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things.” Isaiah xl. 26
The people of God in Isaiah’s day had starved their imagination by looking in the face of idols, and Isaiah made them look up at the heavens, that is, he made them begin to use their imagination aright. Nature to a saint is sacramental. If we are children of God, we have a tremendous treasure in Nature. In every wind that blows, in every night and day of the year, in every sign of the sky, in every blossoming and in every withering of the earth, there is a real coming of God to us if we will simply use our starved imagination to realize it.
The test of spiritual concentration is bringing the imagination into captivity. Is your imagination looking on the face of an idol? Is the idol yourself? Your work? Your conception of what a worker should be? Your experience of salvation and sanctification? Then your imagination of God is starved, and when you are up against difficulties you have no power, you can only endure in darkness. If your imagination is starved, do not look back to your own experience; it is God Whom you need. Go right out of yourself, away from the face of your idols, away from everything that has been starving your imagination. Rouse yourself, take the gibe that Isaiah gave the people, and deliberately turn your imagination to God.
One of the reasons of stultification in prayer is that there is no imagination, no power of putting ourselves deliberately before God. We have to learn how to be broken bread and poured out wine on the line of intercession more than on the line of personal contact. Imagination is the power God gives a saint to posit himself out of himself into relationships he never was in.
Oswald Chambers
February 10th Devotional
Thank you Stevie for sharing this. I thought it was a little different way to look at it, with regards to “imagination,” but I liked it, Very nice Sister! 🙂
My personal definition of ‘imagination’ is my mind’s eye! When studying, praying or even contemplating the things of God, all of a sudden you see it…what He’s trying to show you. Because your mind is open to His ways!
🙂 That was what I gathered.
I love the Quince flowering in the middle of winter. Everything looks dead to the eye…..and then you see those flowers.
Exactly!!! 🤗
Good blessed morning, juststevie.
Last night I was thinking of spicy very strongly, having felt her absence (and being concerned as we all become when a family member in our branches suddenly disappears). Thank you, dear sis, for picking up where she has, prayerfully, only taken a leave of absence.😘
Good morning Betsy! 💟
I hope that all is well with our Feral Cat! I miss her Joy! I debated about picking up the OS devotions again because I didn’t want to step in front of anyone. If I did, then I hope someone will let me know…
You stepped in front of no one, loving sister. You saw a need and filled it. If I say I expected you would while I was thinking of her last night, it seemed almost coincidental…though I know it was not. I pray she is well also.🙏🏻
Bet, I was thinking along the same lines. Hope all is well with our FC.
And thank you juststevie for stepping up.
💜❤️
🤗 Thank you Grandpa! ✝
It’s a concern. But I first remember Chambers being faithfully posted every day by our dear sister. And I actually did think she would pick that beautiful baton up. That she did about three seconds after I was wondering? Well…🙏🏻💕
Dear sister being you, juststevie, followed by another just like you, our feral cat…😘
You’re a good Den Mother . . . Keeping an eye on your kids. 🙂
😁…we all look after one another you know💕
Say what you will about the Amish or the Mennonites, but at least they don’t have to worry about other adults influencing their children to switch genders in their communities.
Their food is good.
Their furniture, high quality!
We have a small Amish furniture store about 15 minutes away here in Texas. Which I must say both surprised and pleased me.
Very true Chris Martin.
The Amish community near us has their own school that their children attend.
I know that quite a few non-Amish in the community have wanted their children to go to this school but have never approached the Amish or asked about it.
The Amish have a flourishing community with a lot of businesses that sell mostly to “The English”.
They are hard working, cheerful and fun to be around.
They are an example of what can be accomplished if people organize and band together and do not depend on the government for so much.
“They are an example of what can be accomplished if people organize and band together and do not depend on the government for so much.”
That’s what I’ve tried to do here. We’re loose knit but tight at crunch time.
Communications could become an issue in the event of…
🕶️
We have thought about that sometimes; if they would be friendly to Christians who weren’t Amish moving next to them. I guess it depends on what clans they are. Every group has their own ways and traditions. Some are okay with doing business with the “English,” and others are strictly separated, and won’t even acknowledge someone from outside their group. There are also many of their own children who have been shunned and kicked out altogether for things we would call ridiculous. I think that they could learn from us, and we could learn from them, a lot of things, if there was a way to set meaningless differences aside for Christian love. We wouldn’t really have a problem with them, if they received us in Jesus’ Name.
A couple more . . .
Howdy Garrison 🙂
Mornin’ jay 🙂 We’re heading into another weekend. Who’da thunk it????
Seems like the time clock has gone into fan mode!
That’s right, J – like a toilet paper roll. Closer to the end, the faster it goes…😃
[chuckling]… 😁
Fridays are my sheet changing days.
I swear I did that just yesterday…
You did do that yesterday – good for another week!
(Saturdays are my day.)
The days are long and the years are short…weeks as well.
I mean it was only yesterday Advent was upon us…
I’m ready for Advent and drawing nearer to the Lord. Need that!
And remembered a hymn stanza:
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full on his wonderful face,
And the things on earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of his glory and grace.
Amen
Oh so beautiful, Della. And I am looking forward.to it as well…as I start doing on December 26.
A season of great hope and a Promise kept.
Amen🙏🏻
😂😂🤪
Funny funny 😁
This Old Porch by Lyle Lovett is a celebration of the ambience that you will find in what I choose to call “Little Town Texas”. One of the reasons that I love living in Texas is the ease with which I can travel to an entirely different world. I live in a big metropolitan Texas city. I’m surrounded by modernity, hurry, and, curiousness for this being the Texas I love—growing indiference.
Yet, when I take a favorite car into the Hill Country I find myself seemingly in a magical environment I choose to call Little Town Texas. There’s something about small Texas towns that is instantly endearing. I’ve experienced this repeatedly as I’ve traveled around the state—it as thought the people who choose to live in small Texas towns do so deliberately. Are they intentionally escaping the hustle and faster pace of more urban areas? There is certainly something going on because the contrast between small Texas towns and large Texas cities is stark.
Little Town Texas is separate reality. So long as these places can exist without being surrounded and absorbed by urbanization they remain magical. I have several Little Town Texas villages that I like to travel to. And every time I go there I breathe a sight of relief. The first thing I notice is the relaxed pace of the people who live there. The second is how intentionally nice the people you encounter is shops and, especially, restaurants are.
What I think I feel when I search out a small town in Texas is a state of grace that is intentionally constructed and maintained by the people who choose to live. Long may they wave . . .
Good morning to all the Treepers and blessings for a wonderful day and weekend.
Garrison, I knew the Texas of 25 years ago and spent my most happy time during those 8 years. It’s so easy to love Texas.
Morning JWoo!
Good evening, GrandpaM.
Busy busy day today. Worked 11 hours and then had to hit the grocery. Car goes into the body shop for a week – an appointment I waited 3 months for. A stray piece of rusted rebar poking out of the ground about 2 feet in a parking lot was invisible to headlights at night. Impaled my ride and thusly a new front bumper is in my future. About an $800 oops. Gah. My friend’s auto body shop, so nice that the money stays in the family. Will be interesting to be without a car for a week.
Since the Sadie Hawkins dance is canceled due to only 27 tickets being sold (how very sad!)… taking my daughter and her boy friend to the tiger refuge again. (Not much to do in the winter time… and trying to be a bit unique and spend time outside doing something teens think is “cool”.) We’ll go to a nice restaurant for an early dinner tomorrow. Should be fun.
Sorry that the dance was canceled. I remember a few years ago backing my Titan truck in the pear tree. The sensors didn’t beep and I put a “Whiskey ding” in the bumper. Sans the whiskey. Couldn’t stand it so I got a bumper online and my mechanic friend changed it. Seemed to be quite cheaper but that were Trump prices.
I remember those long hours days very well. Don’t miss them at all. 🙂
“Trump” days for sure. Lord, have mercy. 2 more years… I thought the Obutthead years were long – that was nothing compared to this.
Loving the “friend” part. Hope they have a mahvelous time.🤗
Me, too, Betsy. He’s such a sweet kid. I admit, though, I was looking for more kids to join us. Too short notice. So, it will be the three of us. He’s a very gregarious kid, though, so should be fun.
Mornin’, missy💕
I hope you’ve had a blessed day, dear friend. Big hugs.
It’s always good with friends and chatting and laughter, sweet lady.
Get some well deserved sleep if you can..I always find when I have days such as yours, I have a hard time unwinding. Body tired but mind going around like a whirlygig.😘
Sadly, I’ve just started two loads of laundry. The chores never end when parenting solo. Too much to do. Kiddo is helping, but she’s off to bed now. I’ll be up a bit longer.
🙌
Howdy Frank!! Are those JAZZ hands or praying hands – or could they be both? I bet God loves Jazz.
Jazz…..says the ventriloquist’s dummy (me😉)
You are NO dummy, Betsy… but really funny (odd) you say that. Kiddo just got finished watching this:
Blessings to you too Jwoo.
I never say good morning; just come in and sit down. But I don’t want anyone to think I’m rude, so, Good Morning, Good Afternoon, Good Evening, Guten Morgen, Guten Tag, Guten Abend.
And “Nos da”… Welsh, doncha know😉
And to you, Michael. Good late evening now. I barely can get 1/4 way through the comments before something else beckons… then I have to start all over again to try to catch what I missed.
🙂 Yep!
Texas hill country is beautiful!
I miss the Bluebonnets and the Poteet Strawberry Festival. Yum!!!
Good morning, Garrison. I’ve lived in large Texas, medium sized Texas, and knew intimately small town Texas.
You are so right. There is a charm in small towns in this state that comes from, I’ve always felt, living at their own pace and not being dragged any faster than they want to go. If they want to go at all. Most do not. I don’t blame them…beautifully written, dear friend. And all well observed.💕
Good morning Garrison,
Small town and rural America is like this in other states than Texas although it seems Texas and Louisiana small towns have a special indifference to “group/metro think”.
Visit any small town that is at least 100 miles from a metro area or an interstate and you find real not plastic people.
Priorities and personal worth is not about what you have/own but what you can accomplish.
Our last besst hope for America is rural America.
monti
All true, monicello. The one that remains close to my heart in Central Texas was kept alive by long residing generations, for whom friends and family were everything.
Then, sorrowfully, came the time when younger members grew up and left, leaving the oldies to pass on one at a time.
An era as I loved it gone…but leaving my mental cocktail cabinet full to overflowing with stories and laughter from generations who knew what was valuable in this life…sigh…
You’re right, m. Left metro area years ago and although we’re in a semi-rural town, it’s an entirely different world – the pace, the people and priorities.
And here in GA, when venturing to “south” Ga or the mountains of “north” Ga, another sub-culture resides there! Those areas don’t even resemble the urban places.
Garrison, that’s why this guy commuted for 29 years. The only drawback was getting in the habit of driving a new car every couple of years. I may be out of it though. My current chariot is 5 yo this year. And if I get an itch the Jag is always there. Plus I’m thinking of getting a “new” bed for my 1997 Ram. 😁
Morning Garrison!
On Monday, my 86-year-old Aunt fell and broke her hip. I prayed to the Lord to be with her in her time of need as she went into surgery. I recited this verse below to her family members.
By Thursday morning, she was able to sit up in her bed, stand on the floor and walk 25 steps. In less than 48 hours post surgery, she is on her way to rehab.
Thanks be to God, thank you Lord Jesus and God bless my Aunt’s surgical team.
John
Chapter 5
Verses: 1-9
Cure on a Sabbath.

After this, there was a feast* of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.a
2
Now there is in Jerusalem at the Sheep [Gate]* a pool called in Hebrew Bethesda, with five porticoes.b
3
In these lay a large number of ill, blind, lame, and crippled.*

5
One man was there who had been ill for thirty-eight years.

When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had been ill for a long time, he said to him, “Do you want to be well?”
7
The sick man answered him, “Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; while I am on my way, someone else gets down there before me.”
8
Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your mat, and walk.”
9
Immediately the man became well, took up his mat, and walked.
What a wonderful testimony! ✝
Thank you and May God Bless you
Our Lord was with you both. You shared His Grace while he blessed and healed your aunt. This is what belief is all about. 🙂
Thank you and may the Lord bless you and be with you!
Continued healing and good health to your Aunt, Chris. God is merciful and good. His Word stands up to any calamity and it breathes life into situations. Blessings
Praying for her.
Thank You, Jesus, for blessings received and prayers answered!!!
❤️ 🧚🏻♀️ ❤️
Amen and Amen!
This is simply wonderful news, Chris. You were heard. All glory be to God.🙏🏻
thank you for sharing! Praise the Lord and prayers for her complete recovery.
Good morning all!
Lord grant me patience and understanding because I’m fresh out!
Yesterday we lost power for the THIRD TIME THIS YEAR already! Tree down across the line. Took about 5 1/2 hours to get our power back.
What is really getting my goat is that I’m pretty sure I know exactly what is going to happen. Not long after my neighbor Steve and I each invest the better part of $10,000 each to get standby whole house generators installed, the utility company will no doubt decide it is time to put in new lines.
That is the way things generally work.
Same where we are. Don’t really know why in all the time people been living in these parts, that they can’t come up with a better idea; and not so dangerous for the linemen who have to work out there!
Former power gen chick here, Rah. I highly recommend putting in an alternate power source. Especially nowadays with the push for these “smart” homes, “smart” thermostats. Opens up to others regulating, just as they can remotely turn off cars.
If you don’t want to invest big… you can purchase table top 1kW generators that can run inside the home. You have to measure your wattage on your appliances… my fridge takes about 250 watts, the deep freezer about 300 watts. Most room heaters run on LOW at 750 watts… so we purchased two of the table top kind. They can be recovered by AC, car charger, and solar power which we purchased a little panel for them. This is not a long term solution… and my investment was about $1,800… but I have peace of mind that we can power for a few days the essentials. I orchard purchased lp tank heaters too and have 4 lp tanks also… but those heaters I would only run in garage or if we are camping and heat up to 900 square ft. I would not run lp heaters inside due to emissions.
For folks with property and larger homes and needs… standby is the way to go. They can run on your home propane.
When sizing your gensets you must think of inrush which is higher energy consumption at onset that levels out during use. That’s why on my 1kW gensets, I cannot use an AC heater at 1500 watts.. but I can at the devices lower settings of 750 watts. So you have to regulate.
I’ll try to post a link for the brand of genetic I have. Plus you can’t just leave these in a box. They’re meant to be worked with… so that in a real emergency… you’ll know what to do.
Blessings
I purchased AMPROAD model.
If you’re going camping than 300 watt may be okay.. but for home… I definitely went for 1000 watt unit.
https://a.co/d/5eWmEEA
I already have a 1200 portable. Have had for some time. Enough to run the furnace, fridge, a few lights and a TV. But my well pump, stove, water heater, and A/C are all 220V. And I want no or only minor restrictions on what I can and cannot run at a given time in an outage.
The decision has already been made to go for a whole house on demand. 27 Kw is what I will need for my existing but I am planning on adding on. So I will have the output requirement re-evaluated. But when I buy, it will be new, and I will have a service contract for maintenance also.
My nephew is an electrician that installs them and the transfer box. My home, though in a semi-rural area, has a big underground gas main running along the opposite side of the county road we live on and so I doubt that fuel will ever be an issue during my life time.
The plan is for Steve, my neighbor, and I to buy and have them installed at the same time to try and get a little discount.
Whole house gas turbines?
No! And Internal combustion engine can run on natural gas or propane. You can even buy generators that are flex fuel so it can run on either. But running one on propane is much more expensive than running on natural gas.
Nice, Rah. I’m a bit partial to Caterpillar for some fairly obvious reasons – they offer great responsive service. Might be a bit more expensive, but CAT is a household name and they stand by their products. I bleed yellow.
JWoo, if one has all these “smart” appliances and such, if they are not connected to the internet via Wi-Fi, will someone still be able to monitor their activities from outside your home?
We have a “smart” thermostat but not hooked up to Wi-Fi and the system runs perfectly fine under our control.
If you withhold the WiFi pass from these “smart appliances/Internet of Things”, you should be safe from outside monitoring/spying/control. This also means that most of the whizzbang fancy features won’t work.
I’m fine with that. I don’t need my washer/dryer to be able to download extra cycle programs, I don’t even use half the ones pre-programmed.
That’s what I figured. Bought a smart tv and it keeps prompting for wifi. No way Jose!
Once you go down that road then they always hit you up with updates and updates and no one knows what those updates are. If it’s doing what it is supposed to do right out of the box, why does it need constant updates?
All our appliances have no connection to anything out of our control. Minimum essential buttons and knobs. No Alexa.
Nothing smart in this house…except maybe us for being untrusting of all things technological. Only exception is the internet.
Smart if they say its smart? because they can keep an eye on you? doesn’t sound very smart. 🙂
An American, I’m sorry – I wouldn’t be the one to ask for certain. However, the cell phone technology makes me leery as that they are always “listening” and have read articles of criminals stealing cars and folks with On-Star being able to remotely shut the vehicles down.
There has been such a HUGE PUSH for utility companies to convert residences to SMART controllers… giving them away for free just like C-VID shots… it seems to me that it is very likely and very easy for remote monitoring and thusly throttling.
I can’t tell you for sure… there are, I’m sure, much more skilled engineers out there. I am not an engineer… merely was a field service sales rep for industrial engines in standby, prime, and cogeneration for various industries. I’m not an engineer, just mechanically-inclined enough to think critically and ask questions. Plus had experience with remote-monitoring industrial engines in oil and gas industry.
You say “not connected to Wi-Fi”, but I just wonder if one could be turned on or connected to a Wi-Fi source without your intention? What would prevent a SMART device from being activated to something like Starlink with… or without… your knowledge? Our cell phones are consistently sensing for Wi-Fi availability. We’ve also heard that cell phones… even when turned off… are still in listening mode.
Here’s an interesting article on such things.
For me… hell will freeze over before I put a SMART device on my utilities. We have a video camera for zoom meetings, but I keep the shutter closed and covered, so if it turns on it will not have visibility into the room.
https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20200511-how-smart-home-devices-are-being-used-for-domestic-abuse
JWoo, our oldest son was just mentioning that if the device is “smart”, it monitors you regardless you connect it to the wifi or not.
Yep… so I understand it. They’re always hunting for their signals and some waiting for your command – while it does it’s own “other things” behind the scenes. Always look out for your Apps that you download and all the permissions they ask for. Access to your camera, access to your photos, access to your speaker, access to your checkbook, access to your pin, and “hey, let me store that for you in your digital wallet”… I mean seriously… without meaning to offend… but doesn’t anyone listen to the homage that nothing you put out into the metaverse remains sacred? The only thing I ever put in my digital wallet was my Andrea Bocelli concert tickets – and that was a stretch!
Same here in Eastern Oklahoma! We feel blessed to be in this territory! I think (shhhhhh) that OK is the hidden jewel and we want to keep it that way LOL! We don’t flaunt our success like Florida… 😉
😊 🤣
Niiiiiice
Thank you Stevie, Note Taken. 😉 shhhh!
Walmart online, that is! 🙂
(starting to pack my Hoosier bags and becoming an Okie!) LOL
The power source is very reliable, no brownouts or blackouts due to lack of generation, but we are less than 1/2 mile from the end of the line where another utility service takes over and our power lines run through woods and over creeks and it has been about 7-8 years since they went down the line and cleared the trees and overhanging limbs. So whenever there is a big wind, there is the possibility we will lose power. And that was the problem we had yesterday and one other time this year. The other time we lost power this year was when a vehicle hit a pole running alongside the road. So our problem is transmission, not generation.
Same problem a couple years ago.
I stated this above but have you complained to the power company about specific areas? One call/email usually doesn’t get results, it takes some effort to make the office people uncomfortable enough to break their non motion momentum /s.
Remember even a fly or mosquito can get a 1200 pound horse to move….and a horse fly can make them run!
Same here!
One answer is to bug the power company about actually cutting back trees along the power lines.
Have to be proactive and drive along the main routes to your house from your substation. (Easier to spot at night when you lose power and drive around to see who still does have power.)
Most power companies subcontract trimming the power lines and sometimes you can get the sub interested and they will initiate with the power company.
Went through this a couple years ago when every time we had a strong wind we lost power. It took a lot of bugging and identifying specific areas that needed trimming to get results but our power is much more dependable now.
All cable in Britain is underground. My British husband cannot to this day understand why this country did not do it originally.
We never had problems with tree roots, of which there were plenty. And the main feed cables have to be covered with loose tiles over the top after they’ve been laid on a bed of sand. Some carry 220v, some carry double that.
Another thing…the UK doesn’t suffer from ground movement as we do in our Texas-Oklahoma area.
…plus all the cables had to be armoured.
Yeah, Americans I think are a little on the proud side. We could have learned decades ago from the Germans how to Manage our forests; and I guess also, from the English how to run power lines.
Couldn’t be, ya suppose, that there are some financial interests, who would have to have a say?
I think there are always financial interests buried in everything…some shallow, some much deeper.
COST. The cost of burying high voltage transmission lines for the distances they have to run outside of most American cities is prohibitively high. Even within small municipalities, the cost of relocating overhead lines to underground involves tearing up existing infrastructure and then replacing it after power lines have been installed. Then, the cost for each property owner to have their overhead connection relocated underground is high and can be prohibitive depending on distance and property layout and topography.
I have looked into this very issue for our semi-rural small town with a 4 block long Main Street commercial area. Just the Main Street work would have cost over $4M about 8 years ago, not counting the cost for every commercial and residential customer to relocate their connections. Our town had a annual budget of about $2M so adding $4M to that was out of the question.
I understand that, GB. To undo what has been done and rejig the whole thing would be prohibitively expensive and disrupting. That I get.
But Britain has always buried their cables. They do have pylons of course but no power poles in the cities and towns and villages.
So what has stupid cult worshipping Britain done? Peppered the whole of the once beautiful and pole free countryside and coastline with even more hideous windfarms. Destroying all the natural beauty they worked so hard to preserve by burying their cables in the first place.
My point was, I wish it had been done here originally.
My father in law used to “string” those British pylons which carry up to 400, 000 volts by the way. As my husband said, one mistake doing that and you’d be a potato chip.😉
Had a friend who had a circuit breaker open downline working on a Transfer Switch. Not sure why the lock out tag out didn’t work – or God forbid they didn’t have one??? – someone closed the breaker and fried my friend. Grand Mal Seizures and Dilantin for the rest of his life. He had a seizure while I was a passenger in his truck on Highway 99 in Stockton, CA and scared the absolute piss out of me. We were… by God’s Mercy… stopped at a stop light and his foot didn’t hit the gas or we would have been dead. Travelers were ticked and screaming and honking at us until a French gentleman who barely spoke English saw me trying to move his immovable body from the driver’s seat. He stopped and helped me so I could get him to a hospital. I spent too much time on the road – saw it all.
Oh my gosh.
Oh golly, JWoo! That s awful! I am so sorry. One slip or one distraction. When working with electricity it can be fatal.
I was always über careful in the UK…220v vs 110 here.
I am however shocked he was able to drive legally with seizures. What a close call!! Bless the man who helped you. I suspect guardian angels were close by.
He was under a neurologist’s constant care, but was really close to losing his driving privileges for that little escapade. Key thing for him was sleep. No alcohol and plenty of rest, but he simply refused to manage his sleep well… and he was often too tired.
Got it. The USA isn’t far behind Britain in littering landscape with wind farms. I’ve see it in Oklahoma and West Texas, driving through on I-40. I’ve seen it on the tops of formerly beautiful mountains in West Virginia, driving down Route 9 from western Maryland. And I’ve seen it in the Alleghenies in western Pennsylvania, while riding through the mountain range southeast of Pittsburgh on Amtrak’s Capitol Limited from Chicago. The monster windmills are all over the nation, cluttering up formerly beautiful landscapes and vistas.
I hate them…save the earth….phooey. And doing more damage to it.
Looks good on paper, I can hear the ideologues saying. In practice? Desecration of God’s beautiful creation and creatures.
I used to think they were neat at the Altamont Pass near Livermore, CA. Until I didn’t think they were neat anymore… Usually happens to all things people try to shove down my throat.
Not to change the subject but did you get last night the link to The Chosen?
Yes I did, thanks for asking. I explained it in a reply to you in yesterday’s OT thread where we had discussed it.

Excellent! And how about the Cell Towers?
Can’t get away from those no matter where one lives, Michael.
They’ll be mixed in with the ubiquitous CCTV cameras located on every corner on every street in every village, town, and city in the most surveilled country in the world. Not kidding.
Prohibitively to those who can’t take a more sustainable salary for their “public service” you mean.
Term Limits and Salary Limits! Not more than twice the median income of each one’s respective places they represent; is my solution! And Audits coming in and going out!
Would above ground conduits be too ugly and too vulnerable?
They create a barrier so not practical in populated, heavily trafficked areas. But yes the vulnerability presents an additional problem.
Absolutely encourage putting underground lines in a good thick PVC sleeve to keep rodents and critters from chewing. Costs a bit more to bore a bigger hole, but will be a lifesaver down the road for clean maintenance.
Taking in my tax paperwork to the accountant today. This is the year we get the bulk of the deductions for the medical bills accrued during my illness. However, I don’t expect to get that large of a return relative to many previous years because now the per diem I get for being on the road has been paid weekly instead of claiming it all at the end of the year as we used to do.
That change in tax law concerning per diem opened another way for trucking companies to lie when they recruit. When they start talking about gross annual pay they include per diem in their figure and don’t tell the kids that. Per diem IS NOT wages but they act like it is and many of those still wet behind the ears don’t understand that.
Ahhhh, I wish all clients would be as prompt as you Rah! Most wait until the very last minute…before the bell rings LOL!
Here’s a funny for you ~ I’m laughing, but crying cause it’s true…😉
Always try to get them in within a week after receiving our W2s. I know that business accounts get priority in the last month or so before the deadline. Been there, done that.
Hahahahahahaaaaaaaa!!!
And yet…we had an email from the man from a very well known firm (a managing director and a devout Christian whose parents were missionaries) handling our savings advising us that because the people from whom our CDs were issued are well late in getting info for the 1099s to them. So they’ve had to file an extension request to March 17!!
I’m surprised after tax season that you have any hair left!! I remember my one tax accounting course at university taught up by an ex FBI agent. By the middle of it, never mind by the end, I guarantee that if Almighty God counts and knows the number of hairs on our heads, He would have found very few on mine.
LOL Betsy! Sheer exhaustion prevents one from even caring about hair at that point… 🤣😉😋
Don’t I know it!!!!😂😂😂
Oh boy…seeing your LOL…
When we moved back to the states after years away, when I would text my children, I’d add an LOL at the end of each one.
Because in Britspeak that meant “Lots of Love”.
And I was LOL-ing all over the place…worrisome news, bad news (not too much of that thankfully), it didn’t matter. I LOL-ed like a thing possessed.
Then one day, my oldest asked me if understood what I was putting.
I did when I lived in Britain…how does it go? Two countries separated by a common language.
And so now I LOL properly…in American😁💕
Well, I am happy for those kids. Seriously! We were never taught a thing about how real life goes; and so we became adults (legally) without a clue! And they seem very happy and well informed. Happy workers make for happy productivity!
There is a day coming, when we shall be gathered home to the Lord, and His people Israel, in the Regeneration. We will of course also meet all our brethren from all the nations; but it is the family of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who are the first family of Christ, although they be made the last to come.
I have some Christian Hebrew music, ALL SCRIPTURES, I hope some of you will enjoy. The Scripture text is just before the music.

Psalm 131 -A Song of Ascents; of David.
YEHOVAH, my heart is not haughty, nor my eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me. Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child. Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.”
FOZ 77 Lo Gavah Libi
Isaiah Chapter 60:1-2
“Arise, shine; for your light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon you, and His glory shall be seen upon you.”
FOZ 43 Kumi Ori
Zephaniah 3:14-17
“Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem. The LORD hath taken away thy judgments, He hath cast out thine enemy: the King of Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more. In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: and to Zion, Let not thine hands be slack. The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; He will save, He will rejoice over thee with joy; He will rest in His love, He will joy over thee with singing.”

Thank you for these, Michael. I especially liked the first one from Psalms. I am sitting on my back screen porch, and while it was playing the birds started singing along with it! Amazing!
That sounds very nice 🙂 I found these on a cassette tape I bought when our little group got to go to Israel in the mid 80’s. It was Christian worship music All Scriptures and all in Hebrew. I used to listen to it all the time; and then lost track of it until just recently saw on YouTube.
I’m glad you were blessed like me. I listen to the music and the language, and picture what it will be like when the Lord comes.
A Prayer When Things Seem Unfair
Lord Jesus, How often we ask why: When illness or other adversity strikes–“Why me?”
In the rubble of natural disaster–“Why here?”
When the answer to prayer isn’t what we had in mind–“Why not?”
Loving Savior, Help me to regard whatever comes my way this day
As opportunity: To give thanks for blessings undeserved; In offering forgiveness, to be undeterred; To look for ways to turn things around;
In prayer, to be faithful that You won’t let me down. To remain hopeful in You, who know my every need.
Lord Jesus, I pray that my life’s journey will lead me ever closer to you. At every turn my life takes, may my love for You remain safe within my heart. Amen.
Amen🙏🏻

INDOCTRINATION: Woman coaches young BOY to identify as a GIRL – NaturalNews.com
Dumbfounded. Grieved. Angry. Prayer filled.
Father help. Please change the hearts of these God dishonoring politicians; doctors; nurses; administrators; parents.
Please break in and help these confused, abused children. Save them to the uttermost. Please replace their sorrows with a joy that will help them overcome the wiles of all satanic influences and their own wrongful bodily desires.
Help me understand what I can do to be more useful in this sin soaked world.
I pray this for the spread of the fame of your matchless glory in Jesus’ name.
Does the greed for gain have no boundary?
The depths of human depravity is bottomless.
God! help!
It seems not, Frank. A question I have had for a long time. These so called doctors see bodies, not the souls within them. It is the souls of these butchers, no different from those of other terrible cultures that inflict FGM on young girls, which need an awakening and quickly.
For the sake of our young and vulnerable on whom they prey like the vultures they are.
True. Not all. Many.
One is too many 🧐
God! Help! Yes, Frank. Lord, please come quickly! We need You!
Lord, hear this prayer.
Amen! And if there’s anything, any way, Lord, you can use me to help . . .
It can’t be much longer, Brother. Jesus has to come back!
A terrible sickness and strong delusion seems to have descended most suddenly over this land. And it is terrible. How is any of this not exactly like the experiments of the degenerate, inhuman Mengele?? But this time with the cover of government encouragement and approval.
I’m sure I am not the only one to notice it has come almost overnight…not just here and there, but has taken captive whole governments and heretofore professionals which were trusted with our most precious commodity…our health and the health and well being of our children.
Naomi Wolfe is a woman who I would have thought among the least likely to say that she knows Evil itself is the insidious force at work with this and everything which has happened in the last few years.
But she has said it, very much to her credit. I do not disagree.
God bless her and this person whose eyes have been opened for speaking out.
Something must have happened in the “unseen” that a line was crossed; or it is the fullness of times that we have been told about? When they first started this in Babel and Nineveh, the LORD said, “Now nothing shall be restrained from them, of all that they have imagined to do.” Scattering them over all the earth, and confusing the language did not drive it out of their hearts; but only curtailed their endeavors. Now it looks like the Father has seen, that there is no remedy or healing; and has reached His verdict.
More and more I can’t help but feel this is so, my brother. Baron Bodissey at Gates of Vienna says the same…that satan has been loosed upon the world.
There is an aura, a miasma of evil so widespread, there is no fathomable explanation for it. I have often said it is inexplicable to understand how He has not Sodom and Gomorrha-ed us for all the terrible degeneracy and apostasy which, like a horrible disease seem to have infected even those who you would think would be best prepared to fight it.
One could understand completely if that verdict has been delivered.
I started seeing it about 3 years ago, but doing research on the DEI SEL garbage over the last year and a half… it’s been going on for a full 10 years.
I believe Glenda Ritz, IN State School Superintendent began this cancer here. She won in an upset against a popular incumbant and I truly believe that’s when elections started getting rigged. I think those state elections were the beta test for the Presidential elections.
They encroach slowly. Make you uncomfortable. Then they stop.
You get comfortable again. Then they encroach again… further this time… then you get uncomfortable and they stop.
Rinse and repeat indefinitely… then…
Now, they’re so far ingrained in the school districts and legislatures… you can’t get them out with even the biggest can of Raid!
My God! This all seems
comparable to practices of
planned parent(less)hood.
Same master, Patience…

AETHEREAL – The Battle for Heaven and Earth (Biblical Cosmology Documentary)
On my way…👍🏻
Archbishop Vigano knows this is a spiritual battle and has identified the Evil, both in the Deep State and in the Deep Church.
I keep thinking that God speaks through this good servant of His.
When I look at his beatific face from which an ethereal light seems to shine, and certainly something that I can only call the love of Christ, he for me is the very definition of a man of God. I’ve not seen it as strongly on other face on this earth.
THAT!
A true compliment to have someone say you have a face reflecting heavenly glory.
Niiiiiice 🔥✝️🔥
See pictures of him, Frank. It is there. I know you’d feel the same, dearest friend🙏🏻💕

🤮 Agreed 🤮
Thank you for posting this, Troublemaker10.
The author of that article deserves support for recognizing the fraud and danger of gender transitioning causes to young people who have not yet matured physically, mentally, nor emotionally. It seems that ignorant / unaware parents are the biggest problem, right next to the satanic Left who all promote it.
AMEN. 🙏✝️🙏
Is this a recent event? He really looks good, strong and recovered well. The last thing I saw, Randy was still in pretty poor shape, and so helpless. It was very heartbreaking.
Thanks for posting.
Your welcome! This performance was at George Jones’ funeral back in 2013. Before he became ill.
Oh! Thank you. We should try to remember him in our prayers; and all who have suffered so.
Tears welling up … this is my “life song.”
Will sing it all day now – TY!
Yes, very moving.
I remembering weeping so hard I could barely breathe…for the loss of him and (I just felt) the end of our country as we knew her. Alas it has proven to be so.
This was so beautifully sung at President Reagan’s funeral.
Beautiful …
Here’s nice version sung by Alan Jackson. He has such soothing voice for gospel hymns.
Years ago I heard that a
group was changing up this hymn: namely, removing the word “wretch” and replacing it with “someone.”
Have you ever??
That was wretched!
Oh I love Alan Jackson! Thank you💕
…and how dare they touch that perfect word for what we are.
I know. Imagined the Good Lord just shaking His head at His arrogant, rebellious people.
(When will they ever learn?)
They have other gods before them, my dear friend. Until they are broken bread and have no one to turn to, perhaps then…otherwise…
👍
Thank you Betsy. It is so good to hear the precious hymns being sung and performed with reverence, straight and true.
I can’t tell you how I hate all the self-adoration that has polluted and over filled the Christian rooms! You can hardly find something that they aren’t falling all over themselves to add their artistic embellishments and stylistic interpretations . . . it is really sickening!
Anyway, sorry, I didn’t mean to put such a negative on your most lovely post.
The Lord bless you.
No worries, Michael. The beauty here is that all thoughts are welcome.
And like you, I, too, prefer the traditional, unembellished singing of hymns.
As you describe them in many places, performances rather than praise. I agree.
Thank you so much for beautiful thought.😘

Little curly top was full of talent and charm!
And, song “Animal Crackers” brought flashback of my childhood.
My GM would give me small box of Barnum Animal crackers, with string handle on top.
I’d carry it around all day – eating and playing. Good times. 😃😃
The box was the best!🤗
😅😅
Right??? RIGHT!!😁
You got me thinking about this, B, and you’re right! The cookies were actually not that great, and since new toys were a rarity, the box became one…
Ahhhh. Niiiiiice
OMG my wife and I both remember that our two families – in the 1950’s & early ’60’s, long before we knew each other – would watch the old Shirley Temple and Mickey Rooney movies from the 1930s on TV on Sunday mornings. IDK if that was common in other cities but one Baltimore TV station showed them every Sunday morning.
You could go to early church service and be home in time to watch.
While watching, the whole family would be in the living room with the Sunday paper – it was always huge – spread out across the floor. Everyone would read a section and then trade the sections around until everyone had read every section(s) they wanted. Of course the comic section went straight to the kids first. About the time Shirley Temple ended, Mom would head to the kitchen to start Sunday dinner….
Miss Temple was a phenomenal child actor.
Good times, GB. The best💕
Yes they were Betsy. [heavy sigh]
My sighs are getting heavier as well…
Wholesome family times!
Niiiiiice
You got that right, Frank.
It wasn’t until much later in my life that I understood how truly BLESSED I was to be born into my particular family. We were a cross between the Andersons (Father Knows Best), the Cleavers (Leave It To Beaver) and the Nelsons (Ozzie & Harriet)…but without all the drama, and no one was a national teen idol. 😁

😁
James 1:5-7 “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and *upbraids not; and it shall be given him. Only let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.”
*upbraids (tells them that they have done something wrong and criticizes them for doing it; to reprove or reproach angrily; to find fault with) – Collins Dictionary
We all know the Lord’s famous saying, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Even though many people really don’t even know that Jesus said that, they still use it as the Golden Rule. And if we have been serious and devout readers of the Bible, then we also know the part, where we are told to comfort one another, with the same comfort that we are comforted of God. But do we think about how the Lord treats us, and how we expect Him to be with us always; that this is how He wants us to be with one another? Maybe you think, Oh, that’s the same thing isn’t it? Yes, it is the same. “Love one another as I have loved you;” means just that: in every way that you always expect God to be with you, so should you really always be with your bother and sister.
We have all read and prayed this Scripture innumerable times: “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and *upbraids not; and it shall be given him.” We are so encouraged and thrilled, that He does not tell us that we have done something wrong and criticize us for doing it; He does not reprove or reproach angrily; nor does He find fault with us: but His heart is to give generously and freely. How about us then? Is this our natural response, and feelings towards others? Or is it sometimes with certain ones, a habit of anger and finding fault, or an automatic answer to the contrary, of whatever they say, or you know it better?
If we really want to be like our Father in heaven, and bear the Family resemblance from the heart sincerely; then we can be big enough to not be threatened by someone else being blessed and winning. Ya know the saying, about walking a mile in their shoes? Well we are all walking “their shoes.” We are all made the same way, in the image and likeness of God; and living in a country of exile, and on probation, until He decides our time is enough here.
In all the instances we read, about Jesus having compassion; on a leper, on the crowds; is it because He knows what its like as a living soul, as a person, to have all these things against you? He made every soul; so He must know, more than we have any capacity to understand. The man with his flesh rotting, and he can’t be around other people; does Jesus know what that’s like? Can we have a guessing how miserable we would be every day in that condition? Or when the Lord looked over the multitudes, who were following Him everywhere, hoping and excited that something was about to happen with Jesus, to change their dreary lives? Jesus was moved with compassion for them, because they were like lost sheep, wearied and harassed, with no shepherd. So He tells His disciples how He has compassion on them; and then directly starts naming His apostles, and sending them on their first mission of mercy throughout the cites and towns where Jesus Himself was about to come, to begin the work.
We need to ask the Lord for a love for souls, like He loves. And when we go through our ordinary days, whether around those most familiar to us, or around strangers; We have to learn from Jesus who is meek and lowly of heart, how to love, and be considerate of others before ourselves. Our Father in heaven is willing to treat us with respect, and not always rub our noses in our “accidents” from time to time; then we should also automatically be kind to one another. We pray for the Lord of the harvest to send forth laborers into His harvest; then more than likely at some point, those laborers will be us! We want to be true and faithful witnesses of Jesus, and His great grace and power to save to the uttermost. So that means we must have His love, as well as His knowledge and understanding, when He’s ready to use us.
I appreciated your message this morning – God Bless!
Thank you WV (is that West Virginia? very beautiful and interesting country; maybe Lord willing, I’ll get to visit sometime).
The Lord bless you too, and do all for you that He’s ever had in His heart to do.
There is just something that is different with this beautiful post, Michael. Do not ask me why it seems to be so. But I am feeling very much you had powerful Help in writing what I know came from your heart. Blessings, my friend.
I take that as the Lord saying, Yes, I do what you have asked. Thank you Jesus for everything good. We only give what is already yours, and what you have put in our hearts to show your love to each other.
Blessing to you Sister.
I believe you did. All good things, especially words, come through the Holy Spirit Who lives in us. It is a gift you have in expressing that. And you used that gift well with this post.💕

The problem with politics today is that there are no political solutions.
Time is Short.
Believe Jesus.

Thank you, Phlipper. No political solutions because the problems are not political, but rather spiritual.

Good morning, Joe. Magnificent…every one large or tiny.💕
Good morning, Bet. Cats are awesome; they come in all sizes and colors.
Hope you’re staying warm; spring is just around the corner.
Have a blessed day.
Thanks, Joe. It is getting much colder as the day goes on. Were headed into the high twenties soon at least in the morning. Its the wind that sinks them lower. Warm enough, as I pray you are, my friend.😘
Hi Joe!
Truly, I believe sitting amongst a room full of kittens is just what I need. There’s no stress amongst playful paws, tickly whiskers and mews.

Ohhh, that puts the camping bug in me… hurry up Spring! 🏕 😁
Yep, I’m looking forward to spring. 34 degrees and cloudy here in central Oklahoma. Feels like a damp cold. I would really enjoy camping out in some of these places. When it warms up, though.
It’s that damp that gets into your bones. Knew it well in Wales. Thank goodness for our coal fires and radiators.
If we can’t reverse the great reset….and drill baby drill…
we’ll be camping in our homes through necessity rather than for recreation

and we pray to God we live long enough to see the other side of this mess. what a mess this is.
We are READY!!! I have everything set up where we can grab an oversized tote, jugged water, our cooler packed with food and go!

BE MY VOICE
BABY LIVES MATTER
JESUS LOVES THE LITTLE CHILDREN
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow, that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ.
AMEN.

you know, in Central IN, they put the vaccine record on the high school transcripts. Yeah, sure… no college is going to deny entry and discriminate based on jab status. Yeahhhhhhh…. right. It pisses me straight off how schools can circumvent HIPPA and the law on pornography. it’s satanic

If you somehow need more proof that Joe Biden does not tell us the truth, consider this. pResident Biden has repeatedly told us all that they are only going to “target” people making over $400,000 per year when it comes to taxes. (Of course, even that is a piece of misinformation, considering that the law discusses “couples” making over $400,00, not individuals). The Democrats in Congress even included the funds to hire 87,000 ADDITIONAL IRS agents to help in that effort to “target” the “rich”. Yesterday, the IRS announced they are now “targeting” restaurant workers and their declared tips for potential tax evasion. Gee…. who knew that your waiter or waitress made $400,000 a year?
Or maybe those 87,000 IRS agents are going to be used to go after the Catholic Church, since the Biden Administration is now saying that the Catholic Latin mass is an indicator that the church is a White Supremecist group. Who next? Maybe those Bible clinging evangelists or the Mormons..
The MIC takes delight in the increased warfare in Ukraine. Wall Street will make tons of money on the increased death. Silicon Valley and California “defense” manufacturers will profit from blood, misery, death, destruction. Multi-national corporations all stand to profit from killing another 250,000 human beings.
No “statesman” in “the West” is calling for cease-fire or peace talks – except for the real POTUS, DJT.
Donald Trump, man of peace.
We need him back in the White House, yesterday.
There is a lot more to making an effective combined arms force than just providing the weapons, like tanks. And that is what the Ukrainians are going to have to do. I cannot see it being done by late spring or early summer, which is what the western powers are claiming can happen. And besides, their ultimate shortage is going to be that of men of military age compared to what Russia can field.
I don’t see this BS ending anytime soon, unless the leadership of the US changes.
100% agree.

Good riddance to Chinese junk and Wal-Mart’s corporate pro commie, anti-gun filth. 3 stores in Chicago. Let the mom and pop stores thrive and serve the public. If they’re still around…

Always, Frank. I can not comprehend this. But the CoE has been falling away for a few decades. They may have nearly reached the abyss.
Just a heads up! The European model ensemble is now showing virtually the whole continental US to have a colder than average March.
An interesting possibility
