During that time, my family has developed a special bond with the people of New Hampshire. My father decided to run for president in 1968 after Eugene McCarthy’s strong showing there. My uncle won the 1960 New Hampshire primary, the first step on the road to the New Frontier.
I’m writing to urge you not to interfere in New Hampshire’s plan to hold the nation’s first primary.
Those who seek to push New Hampshire back in the process contend that it is not diverse enough to hold the Democratic Party’s first primary. I disagree. New Hampshire reflects the fabric of America as well as any state. It is a swing state; its four electoral votes could decide the 2024 election. It has two Democrats serving in the United States Senate. It has a high percentage of independent voters, who will play a critical role in the next campaign. It helped launch the campaigns of Bill Clinton, John Kerry, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. It is where Bernie Sanders took off in 2015, the beginning of a movement that would inject new enthusiasm into our politics.

Both have developed blood clots..both are in their sixties.
One was already in poor health, but had no history of clots the other one may have developed a calcified blood clot in her leg.
One was admitted to the emergency ward at the local hospital yesterday in excruciating pain as a result of the clot in the leg.
The other is under treatment.
We “ pure bloods” will be an interesting “ test group” going forward.

Dekester, that is tragic. I understand her pain. My daughter had a life threatening blood clot long ago, and I’ve never seen anyone in as much pain as she was. Through the grace of God she recovered. But we thought we were going to lose her.
There are those still in terrible denial. I think much of it is because admitting they were lied to and then having to face what we know without a doubt are the potential consequences would drive them mad.
Here two major pharmacies, CVS and Walgreens, are having trouble all of a sudden finding pharmacists.
Two possibilities. Either the ones they have and mandated injections for are suffering terrible adverse effects, or…
They do know and admit that the bioweapon has killed or devastated so many… and that they, as pharmacists, were complicit in the deadly fraud…and are quitting. I have never understood how pharmacists could not know.
We keep getting messages from CVS to come in for our pneumonia and/or flu shots. They can go whistle.
In any event I do believe more are becoming aware of the hideous authoritarianism which is, like necrotizing fasciitis, consuming all our worlds at increasing speed.
And just like necrotizing fasciitis, it is just as deadly.

We lost power for days but I had a gas range and was able to boil kettles etc for neighbors. From my cold dead hands.

This is a brief, hurriedly written summary of Russia’s “wholly unprovoked” war in Ukraine.
Much more could be written about every topic touched on.
But that this tragic, needless war was in fact provoked by the West’s low-grade war against Russia over the last 30 years is indisputably clear simply by reciting the pertinent history. This does not excuse or justify the Russian invasion. But it shows that it was the West, led by American neocon hegemonists, that created Russia’s accumulating perception of threat, which in turn made the war all but inevitable.
We, successive governments of the United States of America, bear a large share of the responsibility for creating the conditions in which the Ukraine war occurred. If our self image of America as a uniquely humane and benign force in the world has any merit, it is we who have a moral duty to assist in bringing this ruinous, and highly dangerous, conflict to an end.

I get on this site by typing the name on Search.brave.com. It always comes up as the first result and I click on it without looking at the link. I did that just now, and it came up as a “misinformation” type fact checker site. I thought I typed something wrong so the same thing happened again, then I read the search results and saw the theconservativetreehouse.com wasn’t at the top. It was fourth or fifth from the top, clearly the result of some algorithm altering the search results. I type “The Conservative Treehouse,” so this site should come up first in the search results and always has until now. I thought Brave avoided that type of thing. Dr. Malone said it is what he uses.

I would like to start a debate on this website, especially with people who have at least minored in economy.
Why is the failure to raise the debt ceiling the only reason for any economic downturns? Why is failure to restrain spending NEVER the cause of an economic downturn?
Common sense, which politicians lack, would tell anyone with a synapsis firing neuron that at SOME point, spending surpasses potential recovery. It just is impossible.
Now federal governments can unleash printing presses for money, but the economic downturn is already a fact.
I personally believe that this is all part of the grift. Too big to fail companies can make horrendous decisions knowing that they’ll be bailed out and often they’re pressured to do it by the government a la the 2008 real estate meltdown.
If we can’t reign in the debt ceiling because of these ridiculous and irrational fears, we’ll never escape this downward spoil.

Our debt is also a national security risk as well as economic security risk.

They appealed the Jan. 6 denial.
I find this rather interesting, although I have read and heard attorneys state that this case will go nowhere. I am a little surprised that the Supreme Court agreed to an additional conference.

There is no “appeal” from a denial of certiorari.
If they keep filing frivolous motions or petitions, eventually the SCOTUS will get around to issuing an order prohibiting the docketing of additional filings from the nuisance filer. It is only after the issuance of such an order that the clerk would refuse to take the papers. It might take 5 or 6 frivolous filings to draw that response.
This sort of thing happens more often at the circuit court level.

If your point is that Twitter was suppressing free speech in 2020, point well taken. Twitter is better now, but I’m not sure that I trust the company on February 1, 2023.
While my trust is higher today than it was in 2020, they need to work a little harder to earn back that trust completely.
