the Cape May warbler will always be special to me not only because Cape May NJ is a Birding paradise and my cousins lived there and I was fortunate enough to visit many times, but I can remember long ago there being on my backyard Hemlock trees before they got killed with Wolley Adelgid hawking insects off of the Hemlocks one spring during migration in the early 80’s. Uncommone migrants through my woods.
I believe that is a male Cape May Warbler. Very nice. Anybody not believing Sundance and why he advocates so strongly for President Trump and not Ron DeSantis in 2024, watch this clip from South Carolina today. I am fascinated about the change that happens to go from trashing the world to caring about the world. I have some vague thoughts that it is part of the human condition that comes out after we secure our more basic needs. But there also seems to be a peer pressure component co-opting those who just won’t care. And I have yet to work in how communist countries exceed capitalist countries in polluting, but their propaganda makes capitalist citizens blame capitalist for pollution and turn communist to stop pollution.

I have posted several times why has no Republican publicly stated that all the illegal aliens let in by ChiCom Joe will be deported? So finally the first one to do it is President Trump! Have any Republicans stood up and agreed with him? Just wondering? My guess is the Republicans in Congress are really unfazed by the influx of illegal aliens (their donors want them) and why they are focused on building the wall but not sending the illegals home? Building the wall is a distraction from deportation! Hope and pray I’m wrong.

I just saw my Belted Kingfisher who nests 50 yards from my house from Jan.-Mar. He/She flies here from the Panhandle of Florida. Yesterday evening my brother and I saw a herd of 12 good size whitetail does on the opposite river bank. I am going fishing to take advantage of the January Thaw. I have a feeling February is going to be painfully cold.

Does it permit California minors to liberate themselves from their families by coming before a judge, declaring that they have been blocked from obtaining “gender-affirming care” by unsupportive parents, and so escape their parents’ authority? I asked a criminal-law expert with experience working on federal-state joint criminal investigations to interpret the provision for me. “That means the kid is going to come to California and go to some nonprofit, which will bring the kid before the family court. And the court would say: ‘We find you’ve been abandoned, or you’ve been unable to get necessary health care. And so, we’re going to assume custody over you and let you do that,’” she said.”

I think are battery powered…not sure…I just opened the packages and prepared the surgical supplies on the residents table. Scissors and hemostats, often single use, and often, autoclaved.
Personally, I think that a lot of “single use” is just to make money. A solid-metal tool can be effectively re-sterilized. A battery should be replaceable. Soap and water still works.

IMO legalizing marijuana was the “reason” or “justification” for Trudeau being “re-elected”.
That said the hard drug use and society effects has skyrocketed. Drugs & homelessness is rampant. It is affecting our youth and working class from good homes, and that is also what people need to understand. They are being targeted to become addicts.

A police officer informed me a couple weeks ago that (it is so frustrating) and is about to get worse. The courts have decided not to prosecute anyone with possession / trafficking for any illegal (hard) drugs over 2.5 grams (I think that was the amount he said). Basically if a cop arrests someone and they are in possession for an amount up what a hard users would go thru in a week – the courts aren’t interested.
And there is a big tie in to BIG PHARMA here as well. Look into the “recovery” recommendations. Swap one drug for another. Not to mention the amount of drugs that “go missing” from the hospital system. Not just prescribed by doctors but by “administering” staff.
We need tight borders, and accountability. There is a war on our society. & We need to spread truth.
