If one believes the earth is overpopulated, there is/was another way out. I remember in the 70’s and 80’s they predicted the world population would stabilize around 9 billion. It is pretty obvious that if you want to lower birth rates, then you raise peoples living standards, both of which were occurring then simultaneously. In more stable and prosperous societies people tend to have fewer babies. Poor societies tend to have a broad age pyramid with lots of young people whereas rich cultures have a narrow age pyramid with lots of older people and few young.
The global elite loot and pilfer stable, rich cultures for their own ends bringing living standards down. Life is a trade, there has to be sacrifices to support their grifting … forever wars, civil unrest, unfettered immigration, corporate capture of government, you name it. The middle class around the globe is that sacrifice. You will own nothing and be happy … Population control by lowering birth rates by raising living standards does not enrich them and is not in their game plan. They see most of us as useless eaters. I totally agree with his premise about helping the poor in other countries bloom where they are planted. I have worked many years writing and producing for CBN (Christian Broadcasting Network), and I really appreciate their international ministries. Through their outreaches like CBN Intl, Operation Blessing, and Orphans Promise, they have done humanitarian work in just about every continent.
They give needy families immediate aid (food, clean water, disaster relief, medical help). Then they assess their situation and abilities, and help them thrive right where they are. Sometimes it’s helping them grow vegetables and/or raise chickens, for food to eat and sell. Other times it’s giving someone the tools and training to start home businesses — sewing, repairing cell phones, cooking food to sell from a bike or vending booth, etc. Sometimes it’s installing a well or cistern so a village has clean water, and villagers can work instead of walking 5 miles each way every day to get water.
It is so neat to watch these stories, and see how a minimal financial investment (by our standards – maybe a few hundred dollars or less) that they could never afford, is enough to get them out of poverty and able to thrive independently. So yes — this speaker has the right idea. I just wish that a) our business laws were simpler in the U.S. to make this a more workable solution for needy people here. And b) that this system of “give a man a fish vs. teach a man to fish” were used more extensively by governments in helping their impoverished citizens. On Redacted Col Macgregor discusses the recent fall of Soledar and that a Tuberculosis epidemic is raging through the Ukrainian Brigades in Bakhmut and other positions. Ukrainian Forces are down to 30% strength.
Just want to point out a bit irony with respect to the images in the video.
While Col. MacGregor delivers his summary …. look over his right shoulder. There is a commemorative Unit Patch and display from MacGregor’s days in uniform.
That Unit Patch belongs to the 3rd Cavalry Regiment, which is a Stryker Equipped unit was in POLAND and likely already involved in the Ukraine at this time, to some extent. Another note of big interest is that the 3rd Cavalry Regiment used to be equipped with Bradley’s Cavalry Fighting Vehicles and Abrams Tanks before converting to Strykers.
Have not seen any more on this note as their home station is Ft Hood but they were in Poland at one point, very recently.
Macgregor spends time in the video discussing the Bradley and Patriot Missile Battery. He points out that both the Bradley and Patriot are training intensive and would take six months before the Ukrainians would be proficient in use.
But at least we wouldn’t have it in case we were attacked.

There are so many different types of tanks and they all require different training, munitions and repairs. And Ukraine is getting tanks from different countries. All are different.
Most have to be sent for repair to Poland which is thousand miles from the Eastern part of Ukraine where the fighting is going on. Then after repair the tanks have to make thousand mile trip back.
Logistical nightmare.
