My thought is that with the book being so heavily referenced that those who are pushing the narrative about 1619 did not like a legitimate argument against what they are saying.

I have it, and I agree with you. It is a great book to read. It also demonstrates that indentured service started out as something as horrible as slavery but improved later.
I find it funny that ‘they’ hate it. That book makes the English sound like horrible people. But ‘they’ have ‘their’ preferred lies to push.
History has sudden changes, but it also has processes. The English adopting slavery was a process. It happened as the outsiders struggled for footholds and wealth within a system where the kingpins were getting tremendous wealth through slavery.
The English ending slavery was a process too. Each had significant events. But the events took place over many decades. The American revolution was part of the English process of ending slavery.
The English colonies adopting slavery were all individual processes, separate and unique, but happening within the larger umbrella of the English process. America was no longer part of the Empire when the Empire ended slavery, so it had to have its own process.
What I just said is so basic and so truthful, that I can’t grasp how intelligent people have to generate lies to make America the cause of all slavery and all slavery’s ills, and the worst slavery that ever existed.

Long before the pope settled the Portuguese – Spanish dispute, opening up Spanish colonies to African slaves. Long before the British joined in, and then became the largest carriers of slaves to the New World. Up and until 2008 I had a basic trust in our government, that at the end of the day we were all Americans and after the election got on with my life. This trust has now been shattered…once trust is lost very hard to restore for me.
I’m not a naïve man; I came up in a time when one of our mantras was “stick it to the man” now those same people and their spawn are the man and they now demand obedience, weird huh?
I understand politicians are crooked, it’s like saying waters wet. But the depth of the depravity and lengths to which my government has gone is alarming to say the least. But in reflection, I understand where it’s coming from, again we must look at the root and get a full understanding of our enemy (I use enemy because that’s the way they see us)…”the counter culture.” Remember: “Anything goes – if it feels good do it – the ends justify the means”.
In other words, they have no rules.

This is for our children and grandchildren. We must face this down right now. This is a mess that we’ve allowed to fester, and take place under our watch. Whether we like it or not, it’s our obligation to clean it up. Nothing less that the survival of the USA is at stake and our children and grandchildren’s lives.
We’ve allowed slimy handful swamp rats with zero honor, morals or faith in God to slowly commandeer our great land and turn us into a 3rd World sh_ithole for the basest of reasons “money”. Essentially turning our government into a 3rd world bazaar if it’s not nailed down, it’s for sale. This moral set or the lack thereof comes directly from this 60’s lunacy. “The ends justify the means”
Then along comes Barry the Destroyer the perfect 60’s demon spawn and the Chicago Way comes to Washington DC, the swamp is officially weaponized. Nothing is off the table; anything is cool to win no matter how corrupt. Even Bill “the slut” Clinton complained about the Chicago Way being used against Hitlary. But Barry was the one they have been waiting for his “fundamental transformation of America.

So many people still are wanting to be reasonable and understanding. It’s like being reasonable and understanding with a 3 yo screaming in the middle of a toy store, because they can’t have a toy. But instead of spanking them and a firm no, just to shut them up you buy the toy.
The left has learned the petulant child tactic and to extend the metaphor; need to be spanked and sent to their room.
Option 1: When a “child” throws a tantrum over not getting something… throw a MUCH BIGGER, MUCH LOUDER tantrum with as many people watching as possible. After a about 30 seconds, the tantrum stops because the “child” is dumbfounded that the “parent” would do such a thing. After a couple more minutes and other people stopping to stare at the scene, the “child” is horrified by the “parents” action and tries to act like they don’t know them. A few minutes later and the “child” tries to slink away to hide and hope it stops. It doesn’t stop.
If you do what they do, but do it better and louder than they do, eventually people stop paying attention to them and start paying attention to you instead. Sounds childish, and it is, but in many instances – especially this one -it is exactly what is called for. Give them a taste of their own medicine. They’ll choke on it and hopefully decide the prize is not worth what it costs them.
Get enough “parents” throwing big enough tantrums and most “children” will learn the lesson eventually – unwillingly, but they WILL learn it.
Seems to me that this could work beautifully (and quite hilariously) when put to use on the “swamp children” in D.C., obviously on a MUCH larger scale than “1 child:1 parent”, but still…
Option 2: The “child” throws a fit over not getting a new toy – take away their existing toys 1 by 1 until they either stop throwing a fit and apologize for their behavior (unlikely outcome but could happen) OR they run out of toys and realize their mistake while trying hard not to admit they’ve done anything wrong, despite the fact that everyone can see exactly what they’ve done. Either outcome is a win for the “parent” as once the cat’s out of the bag, there’s no putting it back in.
Option 3: “Wait til your father gets home!” Cut a switch and head to the wood-shed for the ass-whooping. Hard not to learn your lesson when you can’t sit down for a week.

The reality is we should have been distrusting our government for over 150 years. The current government abuse of power is nothing new. We are just starting to understand and see it better.

I stopped “trusting” Drs and the medical profession, a LONG time ago, and haven’t blindly or unquestioningly followed their advice on ANYTHING.

I stopped going to general practitioners since 1995 unless I needed a prescription for anti-biotics for chronic sinus infections. In 1995, I was 36 years old, in great health, and had a cholesterol count of 270. This was during the “we’re all going to die of heart disease because of high cholesterol” and every MD was peddling Lipitor to “save our lives”. I was told that I needed to get on Lipitor. No thanks. Of course, after many years it was determined that there is one teeny, tiny component on the “bad cholesterol” side that, if elevated, may cause some harm to you. But Big Medicine, Big Pharma, and Big Media collaborated to push a prescription drug onto the masses. Oh, and Big Food got in on the action by telling us that we need to eat Oat Everything in order to drop our cholesterol. That was when every processed food product had Oats!! in it.
In the meantime, I’m 5’7″, 120 pounds, and active. A co-worker was 300 pounds, ate fast food for mealtime, smoked, drank, and had a cholesterol count of 29.
That’s when I realized that most MDs are drug pushers for pharma. If you go see a doctor then they hand you a prescription.

Dunno, @mspgt: I’m very suspicious of this story too. I am certainly no fan of Joe, but it really does smell to me like a very crude set-up. I think that what did it for me was the statement that they found documents in the garage, and provided pictures to “prove” it. It strains my credibility to believe that anyone would treat top secret information in such a cavalier way. Say what you will of Hank Johnson, but maybe he was on to something. We shall see.
And, if we hypothesize that the materials were planted, we really can’t say “who did it.” Joe Biden has lately become, shall we say, “an inconvenient truth.” But, if they intend to get rid of him now and in this way, this would be, as I said, a clumsy way to do it.
The suspicious part to me is that reporting of the documents only came out after ChiCom Joe made statements that he’s likely going to run again at the encouragement of Jill. I think Newsom is already anointed for 2024 after the great job he’s done destroying California!! They knew Joe had those records from the very beginning. It was Joe who tripped the disclosure wire!

Moving is easy. Hire some movers. Maybe he wanted someone to inventory it all, but that doesn’t need lawyers either, at least not until the searchers realize that they are part of breaking the law.
And the timing of disclosures is obviously an attempt to get ahead and frame the crimes as innocuous.
CBS released the first discovery (in Nov) on Jan 9th. The leakers already knew about the second discovery (in Dec) but kept that hidden. The leakers told us that the content pertained to Ukraine on the 10th. We find about the second discovery on the 11th. Then we find out about the third discovery and the special counsel is appointed on the 12th.
But the recommendation for a special counsel was given on the 5th. (AG Merrick Garland Timeline Does Not Align with DOJ Claims and Joe Biden Lawyers – The Last Refuge (theconservativetreehouse.com)). And it looks like the third discovery may have been the straw that unleashed the Special Counsel.
Note too, that Biden went to the Border on the 8th. Went to Mexico and returned on the 11th. So they even timed the leak to minimize the damage while Biden was away.
But why is any of this happening at all? I refuse to believe that Biden is surrounded by honest people, he and his cronies have been enabling too much corruption to believe that. I can believe that they refuse to get involved, knowing that they could take the fall for crimes others committed and they didn’t benefit from.
Remember all the joking about whether Biden would be forced out right away, or if they would wait long enough to get Kamela 10 years in office. Perfect timing, but she can’t win the 8.

Either there is a new focus in media on reporting about the untimely deaths of athletes and young adults, or something very odd appears to be taking place across the country.
Recall, just yesterday, we wrote about 21 year old Air Force football player Hunter Brown, who suffered a “medical emergency” while walking to class on Monday of this week and passed away. This came just hours after the MMA world was shocked at the unexpected death of 18 year old Victoria Lee, a rising star on the the ONE Championship MMA promotion, just days after we highlighted Old Dominion basketball player Imo Essien collapsing on the court during the middle of a game and a little more than a week after NFL player Demar Hamlin collapsed on the field due to cardiac arrest after making what appeared to be a routine tackle.
No sooner did we publish yesterday’s article than another popped up in its place, with TODAY reporting on the story of a high school senior who “suffered cardiac arrest and was found unresponsive in the school bathroom” after gym class at Amplus Academy in Las Vegas.
18 year old Jordan Brister could not be saved by the time emergency personnel were alerted to his condition. A friend of his family wrote on a GoFundMe page for Brister that he “suddenly and unexpectedly suffered cardiac arrest while at school with no explanation as to why.”
“His family does not know what happened, other than his heart stopped, and he had no medical history and did not do drugs,” another report said.
Even more stunning is that, buried later in the TODAY article about Brister is the reveal that his deal happened the same week as the death of another Las Vegas High School student. Brister’s collapse was on January 8, 2023, and another student, 16 year old Ashari Hughes, had died just three days prior “following a flag football game at Desert Oasis High School” and suffering a “medical episode”.
Dr. Adam Kean at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, of course, reminded TODAY that “sudden cardiac arrest is the leading cause of death in high-school athletes”. But even he remarked on how rare it was: “Even though it is the No. 1 cause, it is remarkably rare, which is important. We estimate that one in 30,000 children die of cardiac arrest each year, and that sounds incredibly small. But that’s still around 2,000 children in the United States each year.”
In other words, “Move long. Nothing to see here.”

The above article describes two high school athletes in one city, Las Vegas, dying within three days of each other and not in the high ambient temperature season for that area.
So the typical physical tests required for HS athletes won’t catch the potential damage from the jab.
Some independent Doctors have been pushing to include tests that can find this very jab unique damage, but so far have been rejected out of hand for obvious reasons.
In the 1980s, in Reno NV, we had some student athletes suffer from some cardiac events while training or playing. So the school board required EKGs for all students doing organized sports. A few months later, a co-worker’s 15 year old daughter (who had a clean EKG) had a heart attack while doing track. The only thing that saved her was another student knew CPR and kept her alive until the paramedics arrived.
I had a girl in my seven-grade class die of a heart attack. She happened to have an identical twin sister and they were able to find and correct a heart defect before it was too late. I don’t think EKGs can catch all possible problems.
Still the statistical data is very clear that something changed in the population recently.

Trump didn’t do anything wrong with regards to “classified documents.” He couldn’t. A President or Former President, by definition, cannot break any laws concerning the handling of classified information. Whereas Biden had no such prerogatives.
However, although I am certainly no fan of Joe Biden, I think that the Congressman from Georgia was on to something when he pointed out that “anything can be planted and then conveniently ‘discovered.'” Personally, I stopped believing when they said that documents were in his garage, and then conveniently provided pictures.

Biden has now been “caught” with classified documents in two unsecured places (late update: It appears its three locations, but the third I do not have confirmation on as to what and where.) The documents were acquired and retained while and after he was Vice-President and thus had no more right to transport and possess them outside of a secure facility than any other person with a security clearance — that is, no right to do so whatsoever.
One of the places is allegedly Biden’s house and not just anywhere in the house: In the garage.
Further, the Penn Biden Center, the first (different) place said documents were found, is an unsecured facility that is frequently open to foreign persons and in fact its sponsor, the University of Pennsylvania, has received material donations from Chinese organizations linked to the Chinese government. Hunter Biden also allegedly was involved in negotiating various business elements with the center including office space for himself and his staff, along with, it appears, Blinken who currently is Secretary of State!
Folks, this is not trivial stuff. With regards to Penn we’re talking about something on order of $77 million from China in the form of donations and contracts, which of course leads to the obvious question as to what were they buying? I don’t care what the classified documents involve the fact that Biden removed them from their secure locations and they were not only in the Penn Center but others were in his garage where they were most-certainly not under any sort of “appropriate” security, never mind Biden have no lawful right to possess them in them in the first place beyond wherever he was using them while Vice-President in an official capacity, in a secure location, is enough to get any other person indicted and convicted. Oh, and by the way, Hunter who never had a right of access to them and was in fact an agent of a foreign corporation, Burisma, has listed Biden’s address where the documents were as his residence so it must be presumed he had access to same.
The President is not above the law.

So actual Covid has a unique signature in that most people lose their sense of smell well after the illness has passed. Unlike a typical head cold in which smell is restored shortly after the nasal passages open back up.
It’s from the nerve damage done to the smell receptors in the nose due to the crate snake venom origins of the engineered virus. It was interesting how Twitter scrubbed this hypothesis reached by comparing the spike protein similarities while letting the bat and pangolin theories run.
For my brother-in-law that was a nurse during the first wave, and got Alpha, it took him 5 months for it to return. For me, with Delta, it was about a month. Both of us unjabbed at the time and still unjabbed.
This is also the last time both of us were sick from anything as well. This is despite being around sick people, some of which could have had actual Covid.
We have both increased our efforts on keeping our diets and vitamin levels at healthy levels which should also be a factor, along with natural immunity.
We also know that the Covid test is bogus bordering on a test to see if someone is a witch or not. Even soft drinks will test positive.
So it could just be the flu and/or the jab could also be preventing the development of natural immunity to Covid or any other illness.
I had a rough week with Covid in the beginning, and took a few weeks after to get my strength back. I lost my taste for a while which really worried me, but I have never looked back since I recovered. I take Melatonin for sleep and I had heard that helps for Covid.
I know what liars and how evil the media is since I was a kid, so I never even contemplated getting their bs vaxx. I was going to let my company fire me if it came down to it, and than sue them later, but it never came to that. It was only five days per person (start to finish) in our family ages 17 to 54, in the fall of 2021, but we also had the benefit of all the Front Line Doctor’s treatment protocols that I had stocked up on in the fall of 202o. At the first sign everyone in the family was on them, sick or not, plus we had been keeping normal Vit intake at a good pace prior to that. We were on a family trip all in the car when the first true coughing happened so I didn’t take any chances.

I applied for a religious exemption based upon the prohibition of purposeful self-harm. It was approved at about the same time I think they got the message from the company life insurance plan that something is going on and that they need to double our rates.
After that, they just quietly stepped away from the mandate to take an experimental treatment or face termination. In fact, any forced treatment of any sort is a clear violation. All treatment must be informed, voluntary, and for the sole benefit of the person taking the risk.

I can’t imagine him getting the nomination, frankly. And I don’t mean this because I don’t want him. I don’t want him to get the nomination. I just don’t think he will, as an analytical point.
The thing that’s — I — that I take solace in, with all the machinations you saw last week, most of that wasn’t personal. Most of that was around fiscal responsibility. Most of that was about a concern about spending, inflation and debt. That’s great. I think you need to persuade the country as to the solutions and the problem.
And I don’t think brinksmanship solves those things. But what’s behind that is a good thing, which is Republicans finally reacquiring their moorings on the party of fiscal responsibility and limited government. That, to me, is the good thing that I see in all of this weird stuff. That’s the good thing.
DeSantis might get the nomination. Nimrata might get the nomination, etc, but Paulie Numnuts Ryano is universally depised. His machinations were pretty well exposed. He will never get the nomination unless it’s a total tank job.
Everyone is forgetting the new Congress will be investigating Joe Biden’s role in Hunter Biden’s deals with China and Ukraine. They made that abundantly clear.
Some members of the powers that be could very well be exposed also. IMO These members may have to forestall the Special Commission by removing the major object of investigation.
There were other politicians involved with the Ukraine that are still in office and had family members that potentially might come under scrutiny once facts are uncovered.
Then also, there is Gavin Newsome’s wish to run for President in 2024.
By the time they are done investigating, Biden will be out of office by then. Still causing maximum damage to our country. Impeach him now.
