So much news I want to cover, yet I do not want this admission lost in the foray.
Perhaps you have heard me say this a few times (lol): “The DNC wants power. The RNC wants money. The DNC uses money to get power. The RNC uses power to get money. The ideology of the DNC drives their donor activity. The donor activity of the RNC drives their ideology. This is the only current difference between the two clubs, two wings of the same vulture.”
Cue the audio-visual demonstration from RNC Chair Candidate Harmeet Dhillon. Some might call it tone deafness, others might call it failing to read the room, others yet will just sigh and say it is the way it is. Yet, here you go: “Wow! I’m incredibly honored to have Home Depot founder Bernie Marcus’s support for RNC chair! He is one of the most prolific, loyal & important donors in the conservative movement.”
The club members are so entrenched, so detached from the dynamic of representative government, they genuinely do not see the bigger picture of their advocacy. In essence, what RNC Chairwoman Harmeet Dhillon is celebrating – is the process of a select group of billionaire donors and multinational corporations funding the American political system.
They cannot even see themselves. It’s just the business-as-usual process. Dhillon is excited about getting the support of a billionaire donor for her effort to run the private corporation known as the Republican National Committee. A handful of selected big club donors who control the outcomes of a party-political system that is entirely detached from the base voters at the bottom of the pyramid.
What’s the institutional difference between Ronna McDaniel and Harmeet Dhillon? Nothing. The RNC focus is entirely on generating money, while the DNC focus is entirely about pushing an ideology. As a result, you get this disconnect as the leadership for the organization places a priority on what…. Money.
The RNC wants money. The DNC wants power. The RNC uses power to get money. The DNC uses money to get power. The donor activity of the RNC drives their ideology. The ideology of the DNC drives their donor activity. This is the only current difference between the two clubs, two wings of the same vulture.
The funny thing to me is that the people in/around the RNC club cannot see the problem within the RNC club. They cannot see the detachment. Instead of driving to make the base the source of the funding, and thereby making the outcomes (candidates) accountable to the base voters, the RNC is promoting their worth to a small group of billionaires who have interests and intentions entirely different from the voters.
The RNC Chair candidate is promoting Corporatism and Billionaire control of U.S. politics, and they just cannot see it.
How disconnected is the mindset? So disconnected Mrs. Dhillon’s team even generated the graphic so she could promote her ownership. lolol… {{{heavy sigh}}} And a big part of the Republican base won’t even realize it.

Dhillon and her supporters have called for a public debate — not a forum, in which each candidate would get to speak for an allotted amount of time. In a statement, a spokesperson for Dhillon said that she will be participating, but that conducting the forum out of public view “sends a very bad signal to RNC donors and grassroots leaders that the current chair is too weak or afraid to debate her own record.”
Lindell told POLITICO he also plans to participate in the upcoming forum. In order to qualify for the RNC chair race and participate in the forum, a candidate must submit a petition by Friday proving they have a majority vote of the RNC members in three different states in order to be nominated, according to party rules. There is throughout western / American society an idea that one must have money in order to do something. But that is a fallacy. If we used our system of gov’t as it was intended and it worked for us, it could do so much more on so much less money. Now I understand that there is a need for money but it seems “more money” is now a default position we all take. I spit on the RNC and I cannot mention here what I do on the DNC!

The Home Depot was one of the first to jump on the rainbow bus as well. SO they support whoever gives them money for their products. I never saw a trannie until I asked for help at a local Home Depot.

Correct! Lowes actually gives a 10% discount also, and on more items than HD, but Lowes tends to be a little higher on most items.
Home Depot serves contractors, Lowes serves homeowners. Home Depot has employees who know what they are selling and familiar with the product. Lowes hires anyone who will take a job, they must not be that great a place to work. So, HD made money during COVID because more people were doing home repairs because they were at home and some how that is bad?
My daughter was a Lowe’s employee. They are not particularly good to
their employees in a number of ways. Sufficient hours being one in particular.
Lowes always has people to help you out and find things and if you’re into gardening their garden centers are far superior to HD. HD is understaffed so often that you run into more people looking for some one who works there than actual employees. Lowe’s employees where I shop seem to be a little better informed that the HD ones I do run into. There are exceptions however as there is always one particular employee (at HD) I always ask for (Glenn) who pretty much knows everything about anything (especially plumbing) and has worked there forever and without him they’d be running an insane asylum.
My brother calls Home Depot employees “Search Buddies.”
They don’t know where it’s at but are happy to hang as you continue your explorations.

Being a Master GM technician, I would have to call GM tech support (Electrical Engineers & such supposedly) line just to get a case number just to authorize extra time on a job…. especially electrical issues as they only paid .5 (by default) of an hour ie 30 minutes for any and all electrical issues no matter how complicated they may be.
99.9% of the time, I was on the wrong end of the phone, they would want me to go thru whatever steps were in their computer to resolve a problem, things I already had done (it was after all, my specialty).
Finally they would issue a case number, I would track down whatever issue was going on and fix it, and I would always be intentionally vague on what that fix was since they intentionally short me paid hours (money) on electrical repairs.
One particular one I fixed they actually called me and asked me the source of the problem as they read thru the work order and for some reason could not understand where the problem was.
(usually that means the same person on a production line did the same thing to a few other vehicles be it accidentally or intentionally, this particular one was intentional)
I asked him how much they were going to pay me for said info as I do not get paid hourly only by flat rate ….. he hung up and I went back to whatever vehicle I was working on that did pay.
HD used to hire people from the trades, and had sufficient people on the floor to advise and help. It was a huge asset. They were paid well, and then about 20 years ago, everything changed.
Benefits disappeared, wages dropped, staff was cut, and it really changed.
Probably was when he retired. Then the Pride crap came…Not even remotely the same company.
I have always admired Mr Marcus. He has been retired from HD for many years so I don’t think he influences HD’s decisions anymore. He came from poverty and worked since he was 11 years old to eventually achieve the American dream! He was a strong supporter of President Trump and gives money to good causes, such as our military families and autism. He is outspoken against socialism and woke society. He calls today’s woke workers lazy! I concur! He has been calling for change in the RNC for awhile. He really wants to get rid of Ronna who has been a disaster. But I think he’s mistaken if he thinks Dhillon is any better.
Bernie Marcus is a fine man, and a straight shooter. He and Arthur Blank made a lot of their hourly workers millionaires through their discounted stock purchase plans.
As a manager, I was in on the tail end of the growth era and stock splits. In those days, no matter how cheating, greedy, and conniving a customer might be, we always, always put them first.
It was a great company to work for. Because of Bernie Marcus especially, and Arthur Blank. My years at Home Depot were critical not only as career years, but in my growth as a person. They invested a tremendous amount in training and teaching me, and almost all of my business skills, the ones that mattered and worked, came from classes in Atlanta and on the job training. Nothing I learned in college proved nearly as useful, with the exceptions of advanced mathematics classes and writing. And I learned most of my writing skills before I got to college.
Best company I ever worked for. I still have the autographed orange apron my guys gave me when I left. It’s one of my most prized possessions.

There are other things I really find frustrating also.
There is two Lowe’s stores and one homedepot in my area. Both have removed almost all human cashiers, and most of the time these machines do not work properly. There are facial scanning cameras at every single one of the “auto registers too”…you look up and watch the monitor “focus” on your face and an LED light goes off. I’m convinced this is taking facial scans for reasons that cannot be good for privacy. Who are they selling this data to? Obviously they prefer you pay by card, so they already have that data, and now they can relate that to your biometric scan. This does not bode well for security and privacy.
I had business accounts with both HD and Lowe’s. Last week I decided to end business with both. In order to purchase materials requires a human being to process these business accounts. I’ve spent almost 140,000 dollars of real money over the last 3 years at Lowe’s alone. The discounts for business accounts are almost non existent now. Save 3 dollars on a 450 dollar purchase?
In the not so distance past, human cashiers were open on all lanes and you go in a and out in minutes, discounts existed and they really did devote good faith to make veterans pleased to do business with them.
Last week, I opened up an account with a local hardware store. Its is more expensive, but there are no robot checkouts. They are knowledgable and always make you feel good walking in. Hi Mr. X, we just made some coffee. Bill is going to help you shop and load your truck. We have some special deals on some tools and hardware for YOU OUR VALUED CUSTOMER. And no, we are not going to ask you for your email address, and phone numbers . We already have that for your business account that is not shared with anyone. (no spam, no calls at 0’dark hundred). No facial recognition scans and no movement controlled LOUD ASS speakers that announce for the entire neighborhood, what covid precautions “you should be alert to”…A locally owned and operated hardware store that is NOT WOKE. Not going to have to vomit with pink haired, nose/cheek/forehead pierced idgits and no MAN/HE/SHE/IT strutting around in high heels like a lunatic. A real hardware store, with good materials, not cheap lumber left out in the weather.
I’ll pay a little more to reward a business for keeping it real.
No more Lowe’s. No more Home depot…No more walmart. No more target. No more any non-locally owned disrespectful businesses for me.

If you aren’t familiar with that, check out everything he wrote there since November of 2020. The two of them were responsible for doing enough clean up in Wisconsin so Ron Johnson could get reelected. There is a reason the FBI seized Lindell’s phone.

Every state grassroots activists should start to identify and silently recruit PAYING MEMBERS of those who want a new party. WE HAVE TO FINANCE IT. It will be OUR PARTY.

The average woman’s love of liberty is nine-tenths imaginary, exactly like her love of sense, justice and truth. It takes a special sort of woman to understand and enjoy liberty – and she is usually an outlaw in democratic societies.
I’d drive down there to protest how the RNC has bungled the 2020/2022 elections/steals and how (as mentioned ) the focus is on the money and not the base and their concerns (ballot harvesting and lack of election oversight by the local state committees). The traffic is sure to be horrendous on the PCH (more than usual) and you probably won’t be able to get anywhere near the Waldorf Astoria in Dana Point. You’d probably have a better chance paddling in from Laguna with a water proof sign ( not that they might read it except for perhaps the novelty of it) or better yet book a room at the Ritz-Carlton and you’ll probably have a better chance of getting an ocean view (its a much nicer property). Of course then you’d probably already have money like these cats and not be too concerned about it all!
So in the debate about making a third party vs reforming the republican party — Can MAGA compete with the money of the RNC and the socialist/communist ideology of the democratic party in elections that can no longer be trusted to accurately reflect the actual exclusive votes of live, real American citizens?

One of the big problems with money is that big Dem donors like Soros always find a way of being reimbursed for their big donations by taxpayer $$. They aren’t ever really out of pocket. So it just gets recycled back and then re-donated.

And no matter how hard you try you cannot unsubscribe from these WINRED RNC Donald J Trump emails. I get five or six or seven every day and I put unsubscribe on all and they don’t pay any attention to me. The only time it stopped was when google interfered during the midterms. As soon as the midterms were over the WINRED/DJT/RNC emails started over again.
It’s enough to make me want to change my email address.
Set up filters to send them to the trash bin and set the bin to empty upon closing your email app.

Actually all I did recently was unsubscribe to all the (supposedly from PDJT emails – I don’t actually believe they’re from him, they’re too ridiculous) was unsub to one or two and poof, they all disappeared.
Now I’m getting what I suspect are Fake (Kari) Lake emails, but I’m watching those for a while before doing the same thing…
My donations still will go out – they don’t need to waste $$ begging me.

school economics, I can’t remember the last time a Fortune 500 company looked to me like it was on my side. All of these multinationals are invariably opposed to main street interests, and us little guys who have lived by the rules, scrimped, saved, and played by the traditional American set of virtues.
The guy who was on our side, PDJT, was not buyable to them, so they helped rig it to fund the Uni’s and get rid of President Trump, and us.
Were I a far sighted CEO of one of those companies, I would not want my corporate identity tied to such a perception, but they don’t think it will cost them, so they keep playing up to the Uniparty, and screwing us.
I have loyalty to small guys, and am reorienting my money over time away from Wall Street and towards more trustworthy interests. A parallel economy, is far more attractive in the long run, as I know who I’m investing in and know our mutual interests coincide.
