Obama put a pause only on GOF research that was being conducted in the US for domestic purposes.
GOF was also conducted on behalf of and paid for by the Department of Defenses.
GOF research for DOD purposes was not paused.
In fact, it continued, regardless of the fact that the research was applicable to both DOD and civilian use. So you get guys like Ralph Baric doing GOF research at University of North Carolina for vaccine development but doing it under a DOD contract given to him courtesy of the old fauci.

If members of Congress and the Senate are exempt from getting the jabs, what happens when they are out of office? Through election loss or retirement?
Out of office they are just ordinary people in theory. So they would fall into the same category of the public at large. And be subject to all the mandates and restrictions as everyone else.
Wouldn’t they be of great service and inspiration by publicly having photo ops of being jabbed on their way out of their offices?/s.
Actually the long list of those exempt is the biggest red flag there is. If those shots are effective and for the good of humanity wouldn’t every government employee be the first to receive their injection? Considering how important and superior they think of themselves. And it would be even more ‘inspirational’ to have them lined up with the rest of the sheep in drug stores and local clinics and not in a staged setting with saline substitution.
They did the same thing with Obammy care and I beleive it included their staff but not sure.
I brought this up to several people and thought surely they would see the hypocrisy and unfairness of it. But just like the times I’ve shown them pictures of the elites not wearing masks, not social distancing, continuing to live their good lives with their private jets while lecturing us about climate change, it didn’t seem to get more than a “yeah, they should be doing what we have to do”. And I’m shouting, “NO! WE should not be doing what THEY tell us we must do!”
They seem to miss my point that if these measures were essential to stop whatever crisis they are whining about, then they would be all in participating. I really believe many people think the elites deserve to have a better lifestyle than we “little people” have.

I fully agree. It was already evident that the trial court judge was corrupted when he threw out most of the original counts. When Lake’s team succeeded in proving the two remaining points, the corrupt judge was forced to try to complete the election steal by ignoring what Arizona Law actually says.
The Law says that an election contest simply has to show that the published results are “in doubt.” The challenger does not have to show “[malicious] intent,” nor even “wrongdoing.” The only topic of a legitimate election challenge in Arizona is the results, themselves. Kari Lake established ten irrefutable reasons to find “doubt,” and all of them properly should be reconsidered. Arizona Law ignores the “motives” of either party in the contest, but this judge certainly had “motives” of his own.
Arizona Law says that voters are entitled to believe that the election was fairly and accurately conducted “beyond reasonable doubt.” The Court may either name a winner – as it once did about 100 years ago – or order a runoff election to be held. Quite clearly, a runoff should be held, and this time, “watched like a hawk.”
I find it ironic that a judge would require “malicious intent” not even plain old “intent”. If these cheaters broke, ignored, and/or violated the law in implementing the systems of conducting an election then they are guilty. I do not care if they were “malicious”, “incompetent”, or “idiots”.
Can you imagine if other people accused of other crimes could use the “well, I wasn’t MALICIOUS in my criminal actions” defense?
Importantly, the Arizona Laws concerning election challenge apparently-purposely sidestep the entire question of “intent.” They consider only: “doubt.”
For instance, the mere fact(!) that ballots were on-demand printed in such a way that they could not be scanned is sufficient to establish “doubt.” The contestant does not have to provide a motive or even an explanation.
If the contestant can provide even one non-scannable ballot image that is known to have been produced by an on-demand ballot printer in a polling place, that establishes “doubt!” The contestant does not have to explain how or why it got there.
The law does not consider the “motives” of either the contestant nor the defendant. Only the published results and the veracity thereof.
But, somehow, this corrupt judge pretends not to understand this.
It is obvious that the only credible solution to this problem is to conduct a runoff election – ferociously scrutinized. This is one of two remedies that Arizona Law allows.
Talk about intent.
If the judge disregarded the law and applied his own, higher standard, then he demonstrated intent. How does one measure against a higher standard than published if it is not available for consult? Why, one creates it. The creation is a willful departure from duty.
How is that not an impeachable offense, and how is the judge not liable for criminal/civil recourse by the state or the plaintiff?

There is a very key nuance that needs to be added, regarding the terms and criteria “INTENT” and “DOUBT” as stated in AZ Law.
INTENT = the state of mind of a perpetrator or person.
DOUBT = a lack of reliability in the actual physical OUTCOME of an event due to technical execution of actions yielding the results, irregardless of INTENT (good, bad, honest, dishonest et al) of the humans (people) responsible for conducting the event. If the technical execution caused a DOUBTFUL outcome, then there are grounds for the challenge and to declare the need for redress as prescribed by the Laws of AZ.
The context of the DOUBT criteria deals with hard facts regarding manner of execution of the event … and has nothing do with INTENT of People, which is a separate matter, claim or charge to be made.
DOUBT can be established even of honest people are involved who made technical mistakes.
This Judge actually ignored the Law as you stated to write his own irrelevant version.
Correct, ‘intent’ only comes into play when deciding to charge someone with murder vs manslaughter.
Going further if ‘intent’ could be proven then criminal charges should also be brought.
But right now ‘doubt’ is the only standard to determine if the case has merit or not.

How cute, the author presumes that something like rule of law exists in this country instead of courts reaching decisions that are politically required then making up reasoning to justify those decisions. With a dem president and a GOP house, the court would likely block release of the tax returns. With a non-uniparty GOP president, the court will order the returns to be released. Roberts has no principles-he reaches decisions purely based on whatever result the uniparty wants.

I’m in IT. Not every failure is caused by hacking. In fact, most failures are not caused by hacking they’re caused by incompetence.
In the past I’ve been deriding the COVID jab by calling it a “faux vaccine”, but it really is a vaccine, it’s just made from spike protein genetic material and not the entire SARS-CoV-2 virus. It’s a spike protein vaccine. 🙂 This appears to be sufficient for triggering an immune response which helps the body respond to real COVID infection more quickly and efficiently, thus helping the person to avoid the most severe symptoms, and also helping to mitigate the spread of the virus to other people.
Unfortunately the vaccine-triggered immune response is not long-lasting, thus the need for repeated “boosters”. It sounds like a good idea to keep the immune system continually prep’d for real infection. But Jeff Childers’ Coffee & COVID blog documents one potential problem with boosting, in one study the boosting suppressed the antibody most useful for fighting COVID and amplified the antibody perhaps least useful, the one that promotes tolerance of an antigen (good for allergies, not good for infections). When boosted people get infected their bodies might not fight the infection properly. There might be other problems with boosting. I hope there is further research on this. If further research doesn’t help with the COVID debacle, it will help the next time mass numbers of people are urged or required to take a vaccine and get boosted.
Now we’re seeing an increasing number of COVID hospitalizations and deaths among vaccinated people. Based on what I’ve read, I think (my opinion) they can be divided into two groups: 1) the minimally-vaccinated who lost their immunity and were predisposed in some way to develop severe COVID symptoms, and 2) the boosted whose immune response has been altered. Group 1 became like those of us who were never vaccinated, and if ever infected it was far enough in the past to have lost immunity. Group 2 might be in more danger with an altered immune system. If boosting really is warranted (i.e., if the vaccine itself doesn’t cause damage and the person is high-risk for developing severe symptoms from COVID) then maybe the time between boosts should be lengthened. One paper I read suggests 6 months for the immune system to go back to normal, but the CDC is currently recommending boosting at 2-3 months.
I’m quite sure mRNA vaccines are here to stay and we should all learn as much as we can about how they are produced and how they work. It was easy for most of us to say ‘no’ to the COVID vaccine, by the time it was made available we already knew that the vast majority of people had mild, minimal, or no symptoms from infection. But if it had been the original SARS virus which is far more dangerous, the decision would be more difficult.
We already had two remedies that worked FAR better than anything that the manufacturers of the”Clotshot”have come up with.So,why were they taken off the market??????????Hmm.

The problem is that they chose the most dangerous part of the Virus to use for the Vaccine and the mRNA part of it persuades your body to make even more of them.
So if you have COVID & the Vaccine you get a double dose and the more vaccinations you have the worse it gets.
Explain in more detail. Why are the spikes dangerous? Do you think the vaccine causes a person’s body to make more spikes than they would take in through infection?
I read an interesting article about one way the vaccine is helpful, because it’s administered in your arm and although there is some distribution through the body most of it stays quite localized. Contrast with actual infection which is almost certainly starting in someone’s nose or throat, and depending on how bad the spray was you could take in a heck of a lot more virus than the mRNA a person gets from a shot.
I want to add that the primary function of the mRNA vaccine is to make the spikes on your own cells, it’s intended. The spikes are genetically identical to the spikes on the COVID virus, but they remain on your cells, they aren’t part of new virus particles that get spawned off. The spikes have been sufficient to provoke an immune response. It’s actually really ingenious, my only objection is that so many people were forcibly enrolled as participants in a big new drug trial. This should have been handled like Right to Try, let each individual decide if they want to take the vaccine.
One of the dissenting doctors debunked the”lessen symptoms” issue. Maybe McCullough. I don’t remember but I read about it awhile ago. Also, you TOTALLY ignored the very viable treatments available that help Covid and were denied to the public to use which could have saved thousands of lives. They also lessen symptoms and length of the disease. Why would you not talk about those things?

I should have known my comment, which was intended to be informative, would provoke anger among the Karens here. Karens want everyone to think exactly like they do, which apparently includes being uninformed about COVID and mRNA vaccines and thus prejudiced against it.
I’m a science person. I want to have a good understanding of science issues. I want to make sure that my negative opinion of the COVID mRNA vaccine is warranted. I found out it’s really not, at least not my opinion of the vaccine itself. I am still opposed to the way it was handled by the Dems, forced on people who didn’t need it, advertised as providing benefits it never could have provided (most notably herd immunity). And now I think the boosters create a problem.
It would be really cool if we could have some logical, factual, and unemotional discussion about this rather than Karen responses.

And like many others, once I saw that, it was like having backed into a light switch and suddenly the entire room was lit up, and I could never un-see what was revealed. Are we always the good guys? Or is this just more interchangeable Spy vs Spy, where ethics and roles and fungible and “situational”. A world in which there are no good guys, no white hats. Just a matter of media spin, perspective, and realpolitik. The world as envisioned by Henry Kissinger and Klaus Schwab.
