But that formulation that I long endorsed is far too generous to the point of being misleading. Indeed it’s actually untrue to say that getting caught blatantly lying has no effect on one’s career in corporate journalism. I was wrong about that. It does have an effect, a very big effect. Namely the MORE you lie on behalf of power centers, the more advancement, promotion, and success you will be guaranteed in the world of corporate journalism.
Indeed, even that amended formulation still does not go far enough. It is really not hyperbole to say that if you really want to rise to the top of the heap of corporate journalism, lying on behalf of power centers is a requirement. Conversely, if you’re unwilling to lie for those power centers then success in corporate journalism is all but impossible. It’s a requirement for the job.”

Children are taught in school now that it is OK to lie, even to your parents. They are taught this from a very early age. Look at the older graduates they have lied their way through school(s), and they keep on lying as long as it suits their need.
If he has been saying this for a decade, then, yes, a mea culpa is warranted. That said, there was a time when a lie could torpedo a journalistic or political career, look at Dan Rather. Now we see politicians all around us who lie incessantly like Adam Schiff, and even break laws, think stolen valor, like Richard Blumenthal and they keep getting re-elected and it’s like a badge of honor.
There are a few actors who make me buy a ticket to a movie just because they agreed to be in the cast. Here is one of those actors. He defined a genre, then starred in most of it. (Much as Sylvester Stallone did, as both an actor and a screenwriter.)
I feel the same (adding Clint Eastwood & Heath Ledger (minus BBM)). I found out that Sylvester grew up in Hell’s Kitchen and overcame a speech disability, so added respect.
Mel Gibson is also a excellent director. His unheralded “Man Without a Face” was I believe his directorial debut. Apocalypto was also quite good. Regards

As a child, I was raised in (at that time} it was called a small town outside of L.A. California. My Grandparents bought a home, and later my Mom had a home just a little over a block away. As a grown (long time grown) up, I saw what had happened to the neighborhood, and that was over 35 years ago. The names of all the stores were no longer in English but a foreign language. My Grandmothers home was torn down and a several story apartment building in its place. None of the small mfg. outfits that used to be a block away were even in business at that time. I can remember the smell of ‘Laura Scudder’ potato chips cooking in the neighborhood. I realize nothing remains the same; everything changes, but why do these foreign individuals want to come here and change this country into their old one……the one they left because they didn’t like the old one? Makes no sense to me. Maybe because it is easier to tear things apart than it is to change them? To make things or places better takes too much work. Maybe because the U.S. will give them all they want and they don’t have to work for anything like the would in their “preferred” country? Sounds and feels like it to me. DIVERSITY is no longer a good name in my book.

I personally can remember being able to walk (alone, unarmed) through the down town area (think Pershing Square area) at 10 PM when I got off work to the bus station to take a bus home. Just try that now; and I was 16,17 and 18 at that time. About that time, I decided it was no longer a place I wanted to live as it was starting to change even then….and that would have been in the early 1950’s.
The biggest gift Trump gave the American people during his campaign and presidency was his exposing all of us to exactly how corrupt the DOJ, FBI, and the rest of the weaponized deep-state is, including federal courts and judges. He also exposed the media to the point where they no longer try to hide their lies. They lie so much even the weather forecasts are full of crap.
Maybe the biggest part of this is how he has completely and thoroughly exposed the GOP nationally and locally as enemies of their own voters and the US Constitution. They hate you and they hate Trump for exposing that to the world. The GOP, their donors, and the parasites that feed on GOP money hate Donald Trump with a passion so deep they would terminate him in a JFK kind of way if they could. Remarkably, Collier was immediately replaced by the “Chief Justice Roberts” after writing the damning report. Bring the dem spying into the disinfectant of sunlight, as prescribed by a much more intellectually honest Justice Brandeis, as compared to the political Roberts. Why did PDJT not expose the enemies of the Constitution, who were spying on, and attacking the Presidency?
Did PDJT ever read the Inspector General Report naming the specific “human resources” spying on his campaign and Presidency? I am amazed that PDJT did not order release of the entire IG Report into the Strozk, Comey, McCabe behavior, unredacted. The mechanism, personnel, and details of DOJ/FBI spying on the President needs to be secret as a ‘national Security” matter? unbelievable !!!
If the DOJ/FBI refused, PDJT should have sued, as President via the “Office of the President”, asserting that he could declassify anything, that as President he is Constitutionally responsible for ensuring that the laws and Constitution are followed, that the Constitution does not even provide for a DOJ or FBI which supercedes Presidential responsibility. Get it out in the open, public trial. Make some official Presidential findings that release of skullduggery is critical to protect the Bill of Rights under Presidential Constitutional responsibility, and for public awareness, right to know what their government is doing, and general understanding. Order the Secret Service or Military to retrieve and impound the reports from the FBI with force if necessary? Have fireside chats without press interference about the necessity for an open society which protects the Bill of Rights.
PDJT was ill-advised, or maliciously advised, not to rise to the occasion of a Constitutional crisis.

The Virginia Project is legit. Did a lot of work in Virginia to turn it around against Dem fraud and control. They also exposed and opened up the School Board crisis in Northern VA with allowing trans in girls’ bathrooms and the sexual assaults as a result. Sealed Indictments against the woke School Boards and Superintendents are being unsealed now. They are also expanding to other states such as NJ to help implement what they did in VA.

No. I’m not a techie. I have basic skills with Dreamweaver + HTML. I don’t know if there is a way to do what you mention. I might look into it later on after I get a pattern down on how it’s going to work out.
But — what I really hope to see is traffic to the site increasing — because that will mean – if X% of the visitors are — Donating small $$$ to multiple causes —- +/or Contacting the Good/Bad Guys to give them a piece of their mind on the issue at hand —— the more + more people who come to the site — more + more positive effects will rise in our side’s favor….
I created a couple of websites related to Korea over a couple of decades ago + kept up with them for over a decade. — I didn’t offer a Donation option until year 8 + got pretty much nothing out of that.

It’s good to be skeptical online. A big drawback to not having a team do this is – there is no way 1 person can vet all the donation campaigns before plugging them. For example, on the Jan 6 Prisoners page, the reason I put it up so soon was – I trust Gateway Pundit.
I saw GP has done extensive work + set up a branch of his blog called American Gulag. I have read GP long enough to trust their judgment + certainly the crowd funding campaign GP setup.

The Youtube channel I had for personal use never offered that unless you asked + had considerable traffic.
I created a Youtube + Rumble channel to promote the new site by getting back into some video editing. I did not realize that the competition in Streaming Services has led them to make monetization so much easier…
Videos became a big part of 1 of the 2 prior info/advocacy sites I built + it started before Youtube was out there. I paid for site just to get the storage space + ability to give people access to the info on the videos. Eventually, it required upgrading once bandwidth grew + the site picked up traffic. — It still wasn’t expensive to do but it was all out of pocket for me – for years.
I don’t do things for the $ + I care so little about $, I’ve spent it on things + things I wanted for prior jobs the companies didn’t provide that nobody else I knew would….
Frankly, I hate $ for how much influence it has over people’s lives.
My father’s parents are still the most content people I’ve known + they lived off social security….
I left good paying jobs overseas to be with my mom in her last years + relax.

In the Eric Holder interview that SD posted on this site I think last week, Holder said that if Trump was indicted and arrested they had taken mitigating actions to stop the violence or control the violence (this is my memory so not exact wording).
So today on the Warroom Bannon said that the word is out that the J6 Committee is recommending Trump for criminal charges. It will go to the Justice Dept and I feel confident they will indict him.
So to me the mitigating factor is clearly Ron DeSantis. Ania from Poland is reading draft legislation that will probably be approved and is likely forthcoming from the last G20 summit where the leaders of governments got their marching orders. This is also why ALL governments keep extending the emergency status of their country when no real emergency exists except for them to exploit us fundamentally and permanently to change our lives.
This video is only 8 min and the comments are noteworthy with Spaniards stating this has already been enacted in Spain with other countries sure to follow, including ours. They’re in the process of stripping away our fundamental freedoms if we aren’t vigilant because we get too distracted with Twitter BS. Twitter isn’t the end all to be all. I’d also be particularly vigilant about reinstating a Twitter account with Musk in place. We should assume that the algorithms and technological feeds to the FBI still exist and that you will be closely monitored for creating content that corresponds to the algorithms you aren’t privy to.
