Twitter was founded in 2006. It is impossible to calculate how many emails and internal Slack messages and reports it has generated over the years. Looking for information about big subjects relevant to the public—the question of whether Covid-19 started with a leak from a laboratory in Wuhan, say, and how the platform suppressed or shaped the conversation around it—is like trying to put together a 100,000-piece jigsaw puzzle.

Just an idea. Start a citizen taxpayer watch group of either your local/county/state government. It can be effective if just a handful of determined, dedicated, resourceful people get together and work on it.
Sorry to say, but every person who runs for any office (be it local or state etc.) does so for multiple reasons, one of them is they want to be known…..good bad or indifferent. They want their name and ideas given applause….then need to be recognized. Then there are the idiots like me…..want to stay in the background and still can’t keep my finger(mouth) shut.

Hope that you are in the process of healing well;
understand the distraction of having to auction off your business. Having been the last one left standing in our business (last major partner passed away due to the c-19 inoculation, and a total of 24 other passings over the past now 2 years) have also entered into the final stages of selling our business’ assets too and hoping everything closes after the first of the new year. Life has strange and sudden twists and turns, and have taken comfort in the phrases “it is what it is” and “I’m working it!” to get through these odd days.

I graduated college (UC Berkeley) … my only brother never attended college. He was an auto mechanic … who loved machines. My brother was far smarter than I have ever become. The legal donation age seems to be about 16 or 17, differs by state. Parents as you say can donate for their child if they are a match.
On a different note, I noticed quite a few articles advising parents to bank the umbilical cord blood if they can afford to do so. The stem cells in the cord blood can be stored and may someday help the infant or other family members of the infant.

PDJT can certainly express his “wish list” as desired, but I think those three bullet points are mostly nonsense.
The Federal Government is ALREADY banned from policing LAWFUL speech. If you think you’ve been wronged under the First Amendment, the remedies already exist. Plus, the Executive does not dictate laws.
Federal Bureaucrats (as opposed to the political appointees who head agencies) have the strongest union protections that exist in this country. They can ONLY be fired FOR CAUSE (committing felonies etc.). How in hell would one even go about PROVING that an employee “indirectly engaged in censorship”? Ridiculous.
Federal funds for universities come from Congress, not the Executive Branch, and are contractually tied to specifics like enrollment demographics and other qualifications. You can’t undo a contract (bar funding) over an issue unrelated to the contract, such as censorship. Again, the legal remedies for redress over censorship already exist. That’s why students sue over what’s published in the campus newspaper. Sometimes they win.
At least the trading cards are up front transactions – Send me money, I’ll sell you cards. The platform planks just indicate to me that Mr. Trump has indeed become a politician after all. The promises sound good while offering nothing that is realistically achievable.

So he released a new product for sale today, digital superhero trading cards.

His real announcement followed on Truth Social:
“I will sign an executive order banning any federal department or agency from colluding with any organization, business or person to censor, limit, categorize or impede the lawful speech of American citizens. I will then ban federal money from being used to label domestic speech as mis- or disinformation.”
President Trump said in a pre-taped video shared with the New York Post that he’d fire federal bureaucrats who he perceived to have engaged in domestic censorship. “Directly or indirectly, whether they are the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Health and Human Services, the FBI, the DOJ, no matter who they are,” he said of those he’d seek to fire. He further pledged to direct the Department of Justice to “aggressively prosecute” the alleged censorship.
