My take on climate change and we must save the planet by lowering CO2!
First, we could add a billion times more CO2 to the atmosphere than we do today and the planet will still be here. The planet may be a lot greener since plants and trees love CO2.
My point is the planet will still be here no matter what we humans do so the discussion should not be about the planet, it should be about sustaining life.
So, how do we sustain life and minimize doing bad things to our environment that will hurt life, short term and long term. We humans already do bad things that are detrimental to life-wars, murders, drugs, etc.
I do not remember what the climate change model predicts the temperature will be if we don’t reduce CO2. Let’s say it’s +5 degrees F globally. Don’t know if that is their prediction, but if it is, how will that effect life. Will the planet be greener, more food produced, less freezing temperatures?
Or, will the polar caps melt and we lose beachfront properties, kill off all the polar bears, have more severe storms, have more heat strokes ?
What will happen if their model is correct, which I highly doubt ? It may actually be better for life on our planet. That should be the discussion.
A model can be developed as well by trying to get to a zero carbon environment by eliminating fossil fuels in terms of the effect on life on our planet. I would bet that a rising temperature, if is even occurring, is better for life, including green life, than the alternative of a cooling planet.
The “Predictions” are made up. They just put what they want the result to be into a computer like they do for elections.
We could save the planet if WEF concentrated on getting rid of all the dangerous people in the world, including themselves.

Russia will be in a position in late January/early February to drop the hammer. At that time of year, they would have a certain number of weeks before spring melt. It will take some time for the Ukrainians/NATO to react to the Russian offense. Odds are they will need to operate during the spring melt. That would force them to chew up roads and use up diesel. Logistics would be a mess. Also, the Russians could watch and react/counterattack as needed.
A late winter offensive would sap resolve from Europe. They would need to tighten their belts collectively (and quickly) to generate surplus diesel (et. al.) and ship to Ukraine. I suspect you will see Russian skies over Ukraine.
Europe/NATO could take the offense and invade the western part of Ukraine and claim they are supporting Ukraine. If they do that, I suspect they would need to deal with the military forces in Belorussia first. If Europe/NATO do not deal with Belorussia, they may find themselves bogged down in western Ukraine. If so, they just bought Western Ukraine.

While doing this research I came upon a tantalizing hypothesis that some folks had been trying to test: Leukemia is, in many cases, a bi-phasic disease. That is, absent a gross insult like ingestion of benzene or exposure to ionizing radiation in large amounts there was both a genetic susceptibility that had to be present and a triggering event, likely an infection of some sort. Absent either no disease occurs; only when both happen it does.
As far as I know this has not been run to ground, and I’ve heard nothing material about it in terms of “breakthroughs.” But it is a tantalizing thing, for a very specific reason: We have a lot of things that go wrong biologically, from flus and colds to more-serious maladies, which are often not traceable in a deterministic fashion.
This is illogical because all biological processes, which inherently are chemical and physical processes, are deterministic.
So why is it that diseases aren’t?
They in fact are deterministic; the reason they appear to not be is that you’re missing and thus not accounting for some of the inputs. If you knew what they all were and accounted for them the outcome would be deterministic.
We knew very early on that there was a serious correlation between severe Vitamin D deficiency and bad Covid outcomes. That is, basically everyone who died was severely deficient. That, however, is not proof standing alone that fixing this would prevent the deaths since (1) most of the people who got hammered were very old and (2) most people who are very old are in fact severely deficient, few take supplements and the more-compromised you are medically the more-likely you are to never go outside and get any natural Vitamin D enhancement from the sun (the most-severe and obvious is someone confined to a nursing home, of course.)
However there is no hazard associated with making sure that higher-risk people are not severely deficient. There is potential hazard in high-dose Vitamin D supplementation (and its very bad too, so don’t go taking mega-doses of that stuff), but none in low-to-moderate doses sufficient to get you clear of the “severely deficient” risk. We did not do this even though in the early months there was no actual alternative “therapy” (e.g. jabs.)
That was stupid because we cut off a possible inquisition into a multi-phasic input that might have rendered outcomes more deterministic.
Why? I’d argue because the so-called medical “scientists” didn’t want to know so they didn’t look — on purpose.

Just to keep things a tiny bit more real … Shaver was not working at the time he was shot. He was staying in the hotel where witnesses saw someone pointing a rifle out of the window of his room. That’s why the cops were there. A scoped air rifle and another pellet gun belonging to him were found in his room.
At least one of the cops was flat out hysterical when they confronted Shaver in the hallway. The cops were hysterically shouting BS instructions to him like laying face down on the floor with his arms outstretched and his one leg over the other one. That wasn’t good enough so it became putting his hands on his head with his fingers interlocked. Then I think they wanted him to crawl (with his legs crossed?) What got him killed was his reaching behind his back which the cops couldn’t see what he might have tucked in his waist band. He was probably pulling his pants up?
What strikes me as laziness, cowardice or both on the cops’ part was their refusing to just simply walk 20 feet over when Shaver was sprawled face first on the floor with his arms outstretched in front of him and his legs crossed one over the other and simply cuff him. At least 2 cops had weapons trained on him with clear shots but they had this sick control issue which required them to make him crawl over to them.

It’s author, Garrett Graff, at the time of publication was the Chairman of the Board of the National Conference on Citizenship (NCoC) an organization chartered by Congress after WW2.
The NCoC is listed as a civil society stakeholder of the Stanford Freeman-Spogli Institute’s Election Integrity Partnership.
Stakeholders of the Partnership could issue tickets identifying “disinformation” for suggested censorship, according to the Partnership’s final report.
On Oct 31, 2020 a video attributed to VICE and allegedly produced by Garrett Graff was posted online, with its own hashtag
#LameDuckArmageddon
and began to circulate on Twitter.

Here is a quote from deceased Georgia Senator and Governor Zell Miller (D). I read it in one of his books years ago, A National Party No More, but I believe this is from a speech he gave at a Republican National Convention:
“Mr. President, I have signed on as an original co-sponsor of the Iraq resolution, and I’d like to tell you story about why I think it is the right path to take:
A few weeks ago, we were doing some work on my back porch back home, tearing out a section of old stacked rocks, when all of a sudden I uncovered a nest of Copperhead snakes.
Now, I’m not one to get alarmed at snakes. I know they perform some valuable functions, like eating rats.
And when I was a young lad, I kept snakes as pets. I had an Indigo snake, a Bull snake, a beautiful colored Corn snake and many others. I must have had a dozen King snakes at one time or another. They make great pets and you only had to give them a mouse every 30 days.

A Copperhead will kill you. It could kill one of my dogs. It could kill one of my grandchildren. It could kill any one of my four great grandchildren. They play all the time where I found those killers.
And you know, when I discovered those Copperheads, I didn’t call my wife Shirley for advice, like I do on most things. I didn’t go before the city council. I didn’t yell for help from my neighbors. I just took a hoe and knocked them in the head and killed them. Dead as a doorknob.
I guess you could call it a unilateral action. Or preemptive. Perhaps if you had been watching me you could have even called it bellicose and reactive.
I took their poisonous heads off because they were a threat to me. And they were a threat to my home and my family. They were a threat to all I hold dear. And isn’t that what this is all about?”

I cannot know for sure, but would like to think the later. Governor Miller was a great man and not at all like what the (d)s of today look like. He was definitely a (D)emocrat. But consider what they did to Scott Ritter. Although, I must admit I cant know the details of the Ritter case either, but I feel certain he speaks the Truth too
I also followed Senator Miller and found him to be a straight shooter with a really good grasp on history – a true “Old School” Democrat who would have no place in that party were he still alive today.
I suspect that he, like SO many others, was given utterly false “intel” on the danger that Iraq posed to the rest of the Middle East (and the world) by the Neo-cons, the IMC, and the IC, all of whom are up to their eyeballs with the need for never-ending wars to keep the grift machine running strong! (Remember Colin Powell and the WMD speech at the UN? Did General Powell ever apologize for that? NOPE!)
If the info Miller was given had actually been accurate, then his story would have made perfect sense and he would have been correct. BUT, if it was all lies (think “Russia, Russia, Russia) meant to stir up the emotions and lead to the actions TPTB needed to push but couldn’t honestly explain and garner support, then it makes perfect sense in a completely different way!
I, too, respected Gov. Miller as a level headed thinker unafraid to ruffle the feathers of the left.
Very very few people in my life over the years have turned out to be who I thought they were. I have had serial dissappointment in human nature. It is the rule, not the exception, and we see it played out in all it’s ugliness in these latter and waning days of this Republic.
This is the sort of tripe that gets us into wars. We all know how Iraq turned out. We botched the job so bad that Iran is now the hegemon in the region. We must do better than thinking via a simpleton’s analogy.
I completely agree, but felt like leaving that first line out of the speech would be more like Social Media censorship than editing. See Colkito’s post several lines above regarding Wesley Clark and the 5 eyes capture of the Middle East these past 20 years or so. Of course this was done for oil and $ laundering, but also to put in place Western Central banks in a Muslim region. Islamic loans are not like Christian loans.

Yes Nancy, we all have sparks of the divine but some are very dim and in others a raging fire.
One must continuously cultivate and tend the Garden of the Mind, so as to always be able to hear the still small voice of God that he planted within each of us at birth.
