I hope P Trump does return to Twitter because I don’t have access to his Truth Social and likely won’t for sometime. There are many others like me. I doubt Elon would object to PT mentioning or even linking to his Truth Social site on his reactivated Twitter account and vice versa. IMO, Trump should welcome Elon to Truth Social and express his appreciation or something similar for the reactivation.
The political and non-political world is large enough for 2 large communication platforms to be on friendly terms as they unofficially combine to expand “freer” speech to the world. They don’t have to be unfriendly competitors.
The reactivated tweets below are significant but ignored by the corrupt Jan 6th show trial. P Trump posted one before noon on Jan 6th and they are both exculpatory evidence about his attitude on that day. “Yes, protest the questionable election results but do it peacefully.”
AS it turned out, half the Capitol Police were legit–and half are rogue Nazi goons and seditious Women-Killers.
100% perfection in any organization is impossible but some of the Capitol Police brass etc were not praiseworthy for sure. The cop that killed Ashley was undoubtedly the worst.

Both of these depraved killers have received awards for meritorious service. This is the level of lawlessness we live in today.

Cops beating up innocent people isn’t new. The problem is too many on the Right listened to the likes of Candace Owens who said police brutality is a myth even thought stats prove otherwise.
It took the events of January 6th for conservatives to finally acknowledge that some cops are the bad guys.

my younger brother and his friends were drunk in a local bar

their cars. The trio walked out, went to their car, saw

brother who was at home sleeping, to pick them up.

sober), took them to jail and beat the heck out of them.

This again proves that there are cops who are less Officer Friendly and more Gestapo. The problem is many in the media (liberal and conservative) dismiss this growing menace unless they can use it to “Stick it to the libs” or “Stick it to the cons.”
As a result, the victims of police brutality and their families often get no justice.
My point is that it happens in white communities too.

I have another story – this time in Chicago. Both my daughters
ran track and had black friends. One of their friend’s cousins
ran away from home and ended up with a gang in Chicago.
She hooked up with one guy and when his girlfriend found
out her gang girlfriend group kidnapped the girl, shaved her
head, violated her with pop bottles and tied her up in her
parents garage. Now get this –
They were beating the girl and the mom, a cop’s wife, came
out to see what the noise was all about. “Whatever you are
doing to her, take it elsewhere”. This girl was dumped in
a canal and died. Luckily, the three girls were caught and
put in prison.
Anytime you are alone with a cop, you are in danger. You know nothing about them and they are armed with multiple weapons and basically free to do what they want to you.
In my youth, I was a “career criminal” and on a path to spending most of my life in prison, which thru the Grace of God I diverted from.
As such, I had MANY encounters with Law Enforcement, they KNEW me, and they KNEW I was a “bad guy”.
I was NEVER beaten, roughed up or abused in any way, never even treated “disrespectfully”.
Why?: Its very simple. I NEVER ‘resisted’ aleays followed any command I was given, always kept my hands in plain site, no sudden moves, etc.
I understood the place to “fight” is in court, with words, not on the street, with fists.
And mind you, just as these cops knew me, I knew THEM, and some of them were NOT ,..”Good cops”.

They have a job to do; let them do it. Those drunk kids in the earlier post no doubt mouthed off and were uncooperative. Not saying they deserved a beating, but if you poke a hornets nest, expect to get stung.

Are all cops bad? No. But some are and should be held accountable.
My “drunk” brothers evaded arrest by calling up the sober brother for a ride.

Things like qualified immunity should be questioned. Tort reform is needed, not a get away with crimes pass because I’m a cop. “A social media discussion platform” is not particularly new nor novel technology. Trump simply went out and built a better one for himself, and kept right on talking.
It is impossible to access Truth Social to read anyone’s posts, one can only access a single post that someone else links here, and then to read or follow anymore of that person’s posts one must have a smart phone, and sign up for that service.
Not everyone uses those devices, so yes – President Trump should post to twitter, even if delayed by up to 48 hours after first posting on his Truth Social page.

That’s a good point. Maybe a praiseworthy word rather than a thanks to Elon about his efforts to expand free speech is more appropriate. As others have pointed out, Elon’s online vote rather just doing the right thing and reactivating PT based on his own decision was not impressive. Musk looked to implicate others in his decision.
I don’t always fit in here like a glove because I grew up long before most posters here did. I definitely don’t claim my upbringing was better than today but looking back in the past ,we used to thank people or express appreciation far more than it seems is done today. One can only access one post he makes, after that you are required to sign up with your cell phone number, to read anything else. Very limiting when only able to use a desktop computer to access the internet.
I tried many times to open an account on Truth Social but was also not successful. I tried using Safari and Firefox to no avail.
Then I loaded and used Chrome browser and BINGO, I was able to set up an account on TS with no problem.

Actually, I think it is a very astute maneuver to allow all his old retweets that prove his innocence on several matters (including J6) to be reposted by OTHERS.
It is creating an avalanche of other people defending and supporting him. Very strategic!

The foolish and misguided cheering over the humiliating and obnoxious fake-vote by Musk to “reinstate” Trump (using Donald Trump to market his company — his company that competes with Truth Social — to Donald Trump’s supporters) really needs to STOP.
Free speech (which twitter does not have and apparently — based on Musk’s recent comments about “reach” — will not have) is the ANTITHESIS of whether what is said is “liked” by a “democratic” majority.
What just took place is not laudable.

Now, the Left could complain about bots in Twitter, and we can complain about mail-in ballots that magically show up to elect our officials. There’s not much difference.

Instead of participating in the vote, Musk should have been called down for his misunderstanding of the very principle of free speech. He is intelligent, but has not been able to overcome his indoctrination. Free speech is not that difficult of a concept.
Free speech must necessarily include speech people don’t like. When Alex Jones has his right of free speech restored, we may be making progress. The condition of liberty is not a comfortable one.

When you use someone’s name or likeness without permission to promote your business, you have committed actionable tort.

I also remember seeing that in the UK they said they needed people to use less energy because it was not available. Then they said the energy company would not survive if they have less income from energy used – so they would have to increase the prices to make up the income to the company. So, in effect, you MUST use less, but you MUST pay more for it.
They are intentionally taking money away from the middle class. They want slaves.
You have to pay more for both the higher cost of electricity and for the new electrical grid needed to power electric cars.
Listening to a National Grid spokesperson yesterday on iHeart, the electric companies are overwhelmed with the incoming changes from gas powered cars to electric.
They have to massively expand the new power stations, transmission lines, distribution lines, etc. They say it will take 4-8 years. One truck stop for example, will need a charging station the size of a football field.
That’s a lot of trees they’re gonna need to take down and a lot of wildlife that will get displaced in order to build the new future. Just like the windmill and solar panel farms, not to mention the eyesore.
Maybe it’s time for the “public utilities” to truly be privatized. There is still plenty of money to be made without accomodating electric vehicles. Just say no. Why are we so willing to dig our own graves?
It’s well past time to focus our efforts on where we might effect change. Jan 6th we should have been surrounding nursing homes and hospitals across our nation, demanding access to our loved ones and treatment for our ill, not in DC being ensnared by a trap. We are never going to make the political class listen and there is nothing that suggests any future honest elections. Yet, we continue to pretend that electing Trump will restore us, ignoring that he was defeated by TPTB in 2019(COVID response) and 2020 (election). I fail to see any evidence that somehow in 2024 he will be stronger or they will be weaker. Banking on Trump is unwise, not to mention a distraction. Our answers do not lie in elections.
I will tell you a reason to back Trump…….Our Movement will need a leader especially when we come to a breaking point…..If we continue on this same path cold anger will no longer be contained. I can think of no better person to help us make that anger more productive instead of destructive. Would he be a true leader if he would have retreated? No a leader never accepts defeat. Getting him back in the White House legitimizes our movement…our vote. We can not surrender our vote. Keeping this movement together will enable us to even form a new government if we choose to. None of this is new. We KNOW that the electrification transition is brutally challenging to grid balance, is fraught with risk, will require trillions in transmission investment, and isn’t that environmentally positive at the end of the day. So what will happen to folks like me who refuse to use the “mailed” ballots” Personally, I got 3 of them with my name on the along with some with other names on them……to be honest, they all went in the shredder. If a person hasn’t requested one, why would they get used? Election Day should be just that, “DAY” not week or month or afterwards.
I would imagine that someone could mail in their ballot(s) AND show up on election day, swear that they did not vote via ballot (who could prove it? It could have gotten delivered to the wrong address), vote on election day, and their ballot(s) that were mailed in get counted AS LONG AS THEY ARE FOR THE PREFERRED CANDIDATE.
My guess is that they do not look at each mail in ballot (inside an envelope) and double check to see if that person already voted if it is for the democrats.
The House (nor any branch of the federal government) has no authority over how State’s run their elections, including ballots used. More kabuki.

I doubt that these voting problems are solely due to incompetence. As far the election being changed or redone, I seriously doubt that as well. I know, a bit negative, but skepticism is a trait that experience hasn’t help me unlearn.

Kari Lake campaigned on Election Integrity as her #1 issue, her argument that SINCE there were many who doubted the results in 2020, the obvious answer is to make elections transparently free and fair.
The counter-argument was to deny there was any reason to question the results (no evidence!) and to allege that anyone questioning elections was “a threat to democracy” .
Thats after both her R opponent in the primary, her D opponent in the general, and the media tried hard to NOT have election integrity BE an issue.
At one of her rallys, an audience member quipped “they’ll just STEAL it again” and she shot right back “they’ll be HELL to pay, if they TRY!”
“Nunchucks” Brnovich, the Az A.G. hired Jennifer Wright to head up a new 4 person “Election Integrity Unit” within the A.G.’s office, and the State Legislature funded the new division last session.
The A.G.’s statements weren’t encouraging, as they were along the lines of “We’re starting this unit to RESTORE confidence in our elections” i.e. by demonstrating there is no organised systemic cheating, rather than exposing such cheating.
The appointment of J. Wright got immediate pushback, from all the usual suspects.
She worked with TTV, and started her own voter integrity group for taking action at the polls, and while it was accused of “voter suppression” those allegations were found to be without merit, and her hiring was staunchly defended against those who tried to besmirch her.
Point is, it APPEARS like we may have a good person in the Az AG’s office, aggressively pursueing the election irregularities, and she doesn’t look like someone who will be easily silenced or sidelined.
This is aside from anything KL’s legal team is doing. All of this just bolsters the “case” KL was making, during her campaign, the issue her opponents didn’t even want to be a campaign issue, so in the sense of controlling the debate, she has already won.
As for KL legal strategy, it appears so far like they are going to be argueing the elections are so tainted, the only option is new elections.
I suspect however it turns out, her prediction was accurate “If they try, there will be HELL to pay!”

An interesting interview with some thoughts about why there may be some personality changes, brain fog, etc after the Covid shots.
My daughter and i have discussed this possibility multiple times as we noticed changes in many around just after roll out. Brain fog, disorientation, a slowness, and disconnect would be the best way to describe it (we would often exchange glances with WTF? And be thinking the same thing) . Now keep in mind most people were very vocal about and when they got the jab. I wont go on and give a bunch of examples; if there is interest – i am willing to. I will also say that my youngest, in a moment of teen rebellion got the jab x2, she now regrets its – but we noticed her personality change as well. SIck, blah, absent minded, dense about simple instructions. Good news – once she came to me for help – put her on a good dose of a bunch of supplements – and I’d say her spark is back, and no longer has numbness, no longer has visible swelling of her feet and lymph nodes (she is fit). Took the will and about six weeks of taking the supplements. Finger crossed with prayers 🙂

I was thinking how The Donald Trump Story is so amazing, the truth made into a movie would be impossible to believe.
