Retired Magistrate here: Some states did have a red wave: Florida and Ohio. All of our counties were red except for Champaign (rural county but very liberal), Athens (rural country with a liberal college) and Cuyahoga County (Cleveland). Sarah Huckabee Sanders is the first woman Governor in Arkansas and very MAGA.
In Ohio we cleaned up our voter records several years ago and it went all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court; Ohio won. Am I saying that wasn’t any cheating no, but the polling place I went to you had to show a valid I.D.. repeat your address and there were warnings about voter fraud and the penalties.
Until voter fraud is stopped, there won’t be a red wave in some states. It will be difficult for these states because Dems run the state and no one is held accountable for the fraud. So, if you live in one of those states, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Arizona ( maybe, Lake still has a chance along with Blake) now is the time to get out if you can.
I’m with you; I will take any win we can get. If I remember right didn’t we hear a lot about a red wave in 2020; how did that work out? It should have been but to much cheating.

SW Ohio here. It was quick and easy (in my suburban township) to vote if you had valid ID and could verbally confirm your address and your signature matched.
If other states ran honest elections we wouldn’t be in this mess to begin with.

I live in NE Ohio, and I agree that our elections are comparatively decent since we cleaned up the voter rolls and got rid of the dead people… However, I can’t understand how a utility bill should count as voter ID.
I recently asked a councilman, Can’t non-citizens get utility bills put in their name? He is a conservative, and agreed that it is a pretty flimsy form of voter ID that proves nothing, other than that the person voting lives at that address. It does nothing to confirm citizenship.
If you recall when everyone was screaming for Trump to support someone agains The Governor he refused and supported him. I am sure the governor’s coat tails had some impact on the senatorial race.
Florida already had a Republican governor. What concerns me is the states with truly awful Democrat governors who held their seats despite being largely despised by the electorate.

In 2016 election the Republicans held on to majorities in BOTH the House and Senate. President Trump won the White House with 304 electoral votes. With all that wind in their sails, it was that year, 2016, that the multiple attempts to unseat a President picked up steam, and the Republicans were in the thick of it. IOW…it doesn’t matter a hill of beans who holds the majority, but rather what the majority does with it. IIMO, it’s much too early to celebrate anything.

I think the depression is that with a demented president, an awful economy, potential for WWIII that’s the best we could do. So meaning without the cheating, a significant portion of the populace – in many states – the majority of the populace is so far gone that there is nothing that can fix this.
Given voting demographics, the US can’t recover from this and can only get worse moving forward. There will be a time in the not too distant future where every state will be like WA or NM or DE or worse NJ or MD.
Many of us know now that given where we live that our vote doesn’t matter due to the demographics of our states/districts or the blatant cheating or both.

The numbers here are EXTREMELY unusual with respect to both the number of zero day flaws as well as critical flaws (with zero day flaws most definitely being critical flaws) as is the timing. A Windows machine turned on yesterday (Tuesday) in the AM typically won’t update until it is turned on Wednesday. However, a flaw that has already been exploited to compromise a particular machine won’t necessarily be fixed by a Windows update as it’s too late by then.

Field report from my VERY D state. I worked both primary and general elections in the same small precinct. About 700 votes were cast yesterday. In the primary, the percentage of R voters was pretty high, closing in on 50%. Yesterday, in the gubernatorial election, I would guess the ratio of R to D voters was 1:3 which reflects the registration statistics. So many folks wandered in with their slick flyer with photos of the entire slate of D candidates you were supposed to vote for. I think the entire slate was voted in. So, no change in my state, but none was expected. We did have some stellar R candidates, though, that won almost 40% of the vote against the incumbents, indicating some crossover.

Okay. I considered that, and I don’t think anything is that simple. This was a straight up stolen election and, even though I stayed up all night trying to figure out what was done, all I can say is that it is related to the fact that the media world was not even displaying vote counts online until hours after the polls were closed. Just looking at PA and AZ makes it clear that all the pundits who encouraged game day voting got it completely wrong.
The polls in both states were open for weeks and the were very few reports of machine malfunction but on game day when the Rs voted there was complete chaos.
It seems to me that the cheaters figured out yet another way to cheat.

And as I said above, fixing an OS to close security exploits AFTER they have been used to exploit a system does nothing. The system is already exploited and compromised.
At that point only malware scanners using heuristic (behavior) and/or malware code signatures (segments of malware code) MIGHT work, but already installed and running malware can potentially defeat those… and I’m sure the state actors probably responsible for many these “fixed” exploits, ESPECIALLY the Zero Day ones, perhaps with hacker groups as their cover, are good enough to accomplish that.
