Sticking with our traditional election day discussions, this thread is specifically focused on what is happening in/around your neighborhood and precinct this election day 2022.
The practical on-the-ground reports from you are generally an excellent gauge for the ‘sense’ of the state and federal election results.
If you are voting on election day today, what are you seeing in your area? How is turnout?
What is the general sense about the candidates in the local and state races that are important to you, your friends, your community, your neighborhood?
Are there any voting issues in your immediate area? If so, what kind?
We will post a few updated ‘ground report’ threads throughout the day for you to share the latest news and information from your area as well as your state.
Remember a key facet in modern election cycles is to ignore any national MSM coverage of exit polling or trends as national news is generally trying to shape opinion and thereby shape outcome.
Regardless of the narrative being promoted, ignore exit polling which has been shown to be heavily manipulated by media. Just vote.
So, what are you seeing out there?

We don’t live in AZ., but early reports indicate Maricopa County is shaping up as a debacle (machines). Yuma and Pima reports not good either. Recurring suspect unit Stephen Richer (Maricopa County Recorder), just held a press conference outside Maricopa’s main tabulating room. If you saw it you can smell it… just place your ballot in “box number 3” and he’ll guarantee the hand off! It’s stated there are 2,453,063 “registered” Arizona voters as of 11/1/22; 1,928,312 Active Early Voting List as of 11/1/22. THIS is part (part) of the reason we vote as late on election day as possible just enough to avoid the polls closing here in Texas. Worse yet, RAV is reporting today’s turnout is extremely low. We’ll see if these “RedWave” “Red Tsunami” idiots helped kill us. They jut couldn’t help themselves. The ONLY name I heard speaking against these idiotic predictions is Mark Levin. A few states are reporting similar problems though to what extent is not yet defined. Ugly.
NEED TO SUE DOMINION ( whatever the Alternate Name ) AND
Stephen Richer (Maricopa County Recorder) in a CIVIL SUIT FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT
in the Performance of HIS OFFICIAL OFFICE.

Charlie Kirk and Jack Posobiec in Az says the voter turnout is way behind what’s necessary for Kari Lake and other repubs to win. Only 65,000 voted in Maricopa County so far after the morning rush. Not enough they said to overcome the Dems. Also, the machines are malfunctioning in Maricopa too.
That will be a huge MAGA blow if the repubs do not get out and vote in AZ after all the publicity around the election fraud there and of the Hobbs disaster candidacy.
Yikes, of all the states where I was sure the MAGA candidates were going to win, AZ was at the top of my list. Why would voters not get out and vote there in such critical races????? Arizonans WANT Hobbs to be their governor? Really?
This needs a fast turn around the rest of the day.
GET OUT AND VOTE MAGA IN ARIZONA!
Neither of them are saying that turnout is low. Both have been saying it’s massive all morning.
This is true about the turnout. I’ve been listening since the show started.
Easy to misunderstand because of the shenanigans.
Charlie just reported on Baris data showing that independents are breaking 3 to 1 Republican.
People better get on the phones and start making calls. Have to hope the Maga people did early voting.
Perhaps this is the “wait until as late in the day as you can, to further thwart the steal?
Could be. Also, people may be driving around looking for polls other than the ones with the broken machines.
Rich Baris says voter turnout in Maricopa is “very heavy.”
“Turnout is very heavy, very early in Maricopa. This is a real serious problem. No voter should ever have to leave their ballot in a box in the corner of the room and expect it to be handled properly at some point later.”
Charlie and Jack P. have also emphasized DO NOT LET THEM PUT YOUR BALLOT IN BOX 3.
Maybe when the dust settles there will be a meme/teeshirt born from that.
I don’t trust Charlie Kirk. He’s got much to learn with little evidence his level of awareness is increasing – yet another one who constantly pounding a “red wave” a “red tsunami” with no basis other than commonly available polls and ancillary shills. Noticre his “tune” changing this a.m. around another bout of AZ insanity now shaping up in AZ., again. Like Zeldin a Neo Con who hawked Zeldin over Andy Giuliani where even IF Zeldin wins he’ll face a marxist super majority in BOTH the NY State Senate and Assembly – read VETO PROOF as supplied by woke marxist population densities in 4 of 5 NYC Boroughs and where Staten Island’s Nicole Malliotakis “-R” is a hot step behind Cheney. Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Ulster Counties ALL NYC bedrooms (think southwest NH to Boston), Monroe (Rochester region), Onondaga (Syracuse Region), Erie County (Buffalo), and of course NY’s state capi/Albany Couinty and for sure more. Extrapolated to the electoral college and you can thank the Founders again. My first whiff of Zeldin was him stuttering under state media questioning directly after the “-R” pizza delivery stunt during Schiff/Nadler & Co. Impeachment Sham #1. He embarrassed himself to the extent fellow Neo Con Stefanik actually had to move in front of him as he stuttered completely lost – Yes, STEFANIK. It finished with Zeldin standing behind Stefanik and actually staring down at the floor thoroughly cucked. McCarthy, Rona RNC Romney loves him.
At noon Central Time I will be sworn and sequestered until we who have been appointed to our County’s Absenteee Counting Board have completed our work. We have to stay until the polls close at 7 PM and are usually finished by then. (We add any late-arriving mailed ballots received on Election Day to our count.) As the requested absentee ballots are returned by mail to the Bd of Elections, the staff checks the signatures and puts the envelopes into each voter’s precinct box, with locks from both parties. The Counting Board observes the boxes being opened for each precinct in the county. The staff tells us how many absentee ballots have been received. Our first job is to count the ballots from each precinct to make sure that tally coincides with the reported count.
I won’t belabor this account except to say I am always puzzled when I hear a news report at the end of the day, saying “XYZ County/State has not yet counted absentee ballots.” Absentee ballots are the same as any other vote, early or on Election Day. Our total is merged in with the rest of the votes counted when the polls close. They are not a separate “thing” to be added later. If you hear that some entity is “waiting for Absentees to be counted,” take action and complain to the Bd of El.
We are hired only to be sworn and work on Election Day, not a week later, nor should these votes by counted by the staff.
It means that they are waiting for votes to come in after the election is over so they can choose the winner.
In NJ Warren, Sommerset county, parking lot full steady flow of people more than usual. Also poll workers very cautious even checked my signature for in person voting. Also seen a poll watcher wondering around for first time ever!
Same here in the heart of Sussex County.
Hopefully my old buddy Vic Sordillo has been working the network to get Republicans out.
Have many customers there, all rabid Trumpers.
Huge turn out in fly over country. Not “feels larger”. Noticeably larger than 2020; a pleasant surprise.
Some new faces with the polling volunteers. Pretty sure they were leftist infil-traitors. I live on the edge of suburbia and near rural. These types, one with a rainbow tote, stand out.
My local quiet precinct in a Columbus, Ohio suburb had a line. Normally I’m in & out in about 2 minutes, this time I had to wait about 30 to vote.
This was at 8:30am, so some of it might have had to do with people fitting in voting before work, but the elderly gentleman working the line while I was there said he’d been working that precinct for years and had never seen it like that.
That can’t be entirely accurate as I remember 2020 was absolutely insane, but if he meant midterms, maybe he was right.
Yrah, midterms traditionally MUCH lower turn out, probably what he meant.
My husband and I voted today in rural Hardee County, Florida. It’s a small community, so we had no issues. I didn’t think of wearing red, but rest assured – I voted for it!
I wish I had thought of that, too! I’m wearing blue today, of all colors. But I am voting red all the way!
That’s okay, Elzie, it will serve to confuse the liberals!!
My parents, who live in Wisconsin, convinced me to go vote. So I’ll do that after I’m done with work, it’s just a 10 minute walk to the polling location. I still think it’s futile in this state. I see others commenting that people are wearing red, so I’ll put on a red shirt before I leave.
Thank you GMOM… you might be right…but like D-Day we must throw everything we got at the Davos crowd…p.s. I’m near New Ulm
I did the normal 9:00am voting at our South YeeHaw FL precinct.
Never seen the cars stacked up like it was today, with every ballot station occupied.
We’ll see how that translates.
Pittsburg, KS
Waited in line at 7am. Parking lot was full. The voting tables were full. Voter I.D. required. Voters were enthusiastic. Saw many happy warriors.
I still can’t believe the U.S. doesn’t have voter ID! Even here in Canada we have to show picture ID, mark a paper ballot in private and personally deposit it in a box, watched by the monitors at a table. I volunteered some years ago as a monitor and the whole process was simple and easy. We’d occasionally just have to explain the process, but never interfered or had physical contact with the ballots.
What on earth is so damned difficult about having and asking for ID? That is, if an honest, level playing field is wanted.
Varies by State. Ohio absolutely has requirement to present valid ID at voting place.
Marylander here. No ID to vote early voting last week
Rhode Island has voter ID.
Although Ohio still considers a utility bill a valid voter ID. As if non-citizens can’t get utilities in their name. Seems pretty flimsy to me…
https://www.ohiosos.gov/elections/voters/id-requirements/
In my suburb of Greenbay we had to show ours
No voter ID required in Maine. We also have same day voter registration.
Florida law requires ID.
@7A in my precinct in Wakulla County, FL, the line was LONG. More people than I have seen before.
Missouri voted to require ID’s this year, along with very strict absentee ballot rules and no voting machines may have capability to connect to internet
Canadian here. I worked the polls and without ID or some variation you cannot vote in Canada. When voting is completed the Admin and Poll Clerk count the paper ballots in front of the Party reps. Once all the paperwork totals are completed all ballots are secured in a box. It was a smooth operation.
California will accept anyone and if you don’t have id most poll workers will let you vote anyway
Everything worked fine here in Oklahoma City. Not a huge rush, but got there before 11am.
Snowing in Montana, not that it will matter much. Should be all red by days end.
I went at about 10am and everything went smoothly. I used a paper ballot, which was then fed into the dreaded machine to be tallied.
Took my wife over to vote at about 11am, quick in and out for her too.
I don’t have much confidence in the system any more and the state I’m in SEEMS to lean very strongly liberal. Most people I talk with seem conservative and I often wonder if everyone really is that liberal, or if we’ve been victimized by the machines.
“Most people I talk with seem conservative and I often wonder if everyone really is that liberal, or if we’ve been victimized by the machines.”
Washington State used to be reliably “purple” – we went to all mail voting in 2008 and the Democrats have run the table ever since…but I’m sure that’s just a co-incidence! /sarc
Anybody living in Washington state can check their ballot status:
https://voter.votewa.gov/WhereToVote.aspx#/login
System appears to be down right now. I waited until yesterday to put my ballot into the mailbox because I want there to be such a last minute surge of votes for Tiffany Smiley that even King County can’t “find” enough ballots to keep Senator “Box of Rocks” Murray in office! That’s how Joe Kent won the primary in August but people do need to keep checking to make sure their ballot is accepted because there were a LOT of “signature challenges” in the 3rd LD (including Kent’s own ballot) and if they don’t get cured they don’t count!
The tipoff of the steal will be when King County shows more votes for Murray that the total of all registered voters
Agreed! And which all local media will completely ignore and refuse to cover! I cancelled my subscription the Times when Maria Cantwell “beat” Slade Gorton by 13K votes because of a last minute flurry of “absentee” votes that were “found” a week after the election that had “accidently” not been counted! Oops!
Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose…
Busy at 7:00 am. Perception is Republicans out in strength but scuttlebutt is Dems will vote dump and steal the elections.
Stamford, CT. Steady turnout, heavier than expected for 10:30 am voting time. We were relocated for this vote to a different location and not sure if that is causing the heavy turnout.
It’s freezing cold high winds here in northern Wisconsin lines out the door and no place to park. That was a report from my sister in law. Hubby and I will be going later this afternoon.
I voted at 8:30 this morning in Polk County, central Florida. People trickeling in, 3 ahead of me and a few behind me. The registrar was meticulous in checking my id and voter card and then comparing with my signature. Several people commented favorably on my Flag shirt. In and out in 10 minutes, I was hoping for and came prepared to stand in line a long time but it didn’t happen. More DeSantis yard signs than anything else.
I made a conscious effort to sign neatly like my drivers license signature. The signature on my license was captured years ago. Now, my signature is sloppy and rushed. The poll person, today in Central Florida, told me she was just checking to see if I signed the same name on my ID, not that the two signatures matched style.
Rudolph, I have really bad arthritis now, and those signature machines make my signature look like an illiterate signed LOL
At the village hall of Allouez, a suburb of Greenbay, have turnout at 8:30 am. Mostly the retired crowd I’m sure. No problems that I can see
HEAVY TURNOUT. Sorry
Greater Pittsburgh, one of the USA’s cheating gems.
One of the lightest turnouts I’ve ever seen in my precinct in over 20 years which tells me that my neighbors have played into the hands of the cheaters by voting early and by mail, making it easier for the steal to occur.
The gangsters can more easily calibrate how many more ballots must be manufactured during election week or month or season. Oh hell, I don’t even know anymore.
By the way, I’m starting a bank.
There are no windows, doors or vaults.
No ID is required for withdrawal and we’ve sent withdrawal slips to everyone within 300 miles.
The system was devised by a band of bank robbers. We figured they would know best how to foil the bad guys.
DEI is also a motivation for our strategy.
Please deposit, a lot, soon.
Trust me.
Sharpies are the pen of choice in some Michigan polling places! Can someone please confirm that Sharpies cause ballots to go to adjudication? It seems this was a big issue reported in the 2020 election issues!!
Maybe take/use a ball point to scotch up their plans?
ink bleeds through on the primary ballot depending on the paper stock. and can foul the ballot it is stacked next to as well causing 2 ballots to be adjudicated
Use Blue pens ONLY.
Hey Marie,
Do some research for yourself, dear, instead of waiting for someone to do it for you.
Follow the instructions on the back of the ballot. If ballpoint is specified, then demand compliance. Report it if they’re not following instructions.
Sample ballot here in NC says with the MARKING DEVICE PROVIDED or a black ballpoint pen, so they can sneak in a Sharpie. But I’m taking a black ballpoint pen with me, ha!
Good news is my Republican dad will not be voting Democrat this year. He passed away in September and has already been removed from the voter rolls! Someone is on the ball.
PRAYING for ” my Adopted State ” of Carolina ! I Miss my Friends in the Dismal Swamp Flats and In the Mountains.
KEEP CAROLINA SANE Folks !
Yes: if it bleeds through it goes ro adjudication (steal). I took and used a ball point pen. The paper is *supposed* to be thick enough that the sharpie doesn’t bleed through. If yours does, demand another ballot and a ball point pen.
We had sharpies too in WNY. I brought my own pen but my son used the sharpie and it bled through. So I took it to the election worker and asked for another ballot. She said to just put it through the machine and it would say if it was cast or rejected. It was successfully cast. So I have had the same question as you – whether or not the sharpiegate was ever known to be true – I don’t think so but just take a ball point pen and use it instead if you are worried.
In and out earlier this morning at my precinct, much, much quieter that in 2020, which may be good since we have skewed blue here lately…still not confident my vote will count with all the shenanigans that occur in my state of PA. Had to hold my nose and vote for the RINO Fitzpatrick since I will never vote for a dem again and there was no 3rd party candidate listed.
In line right now in Bexar County (San Antonio). About 15 in front of me. I chose this location because it is tucked away and never too busy. Will report back after voting as well as driving by some other locations.👍🏻
P.S. I’m the only one in red, white, and blue.😗
I am in Orange County a very blue part of FL, my surrounding neighborhood is very blue. however, my street has a few of us conservatives. I walked to my polling spot, it was a beautiful morning to do that. The signs outside my polling place were ALL for DeSantis, Rubio, and my local state rep, which made me happy. There was a steady line but not a long wait, no issues with anything when I was there. There was a good-looking dude in front of me with a George Washington quote about freedom of speech that made me happy as well.
I am interested in hearing about what is going on in AZ as I am reading there are issues in Maricopa County which is Phoenix and surrounding cities if you do not know. I lived there for a few years sometime ago.
“line this am first thing”
“waited half hour”
“thats a first”
text from friend this morning n kent county mi.
Mecklenburg County, NC -beautiful day, good crowd-heard a worker say we should have gotten more machines to keep up with the flow. Good luck to all Republican candidates near and far.
Sleepy little town of Hudsonville, Michigan … many conservatives here with a church every few blocks. My husband and I went to vote around 10:30 am this morning. We had 27 people in line ahead of us, which is actually more than we saw in the 2020 election. By the time we left there were perhaps 30 people in line. They had 10 booths available for voting, and while we were in line they set up two tables with 3 places each to help handle the crowd. The man greeting us said this was nothing compared to earlier this morning. Praying and will continue to pray. Whitmer has to go.
Whitmer, Lyin’ Benson, and Drunken Nessel, all have to go!
Clearwater Beach, Florida, the line started on time at 7 a.m. They look at your face and scan your FL Driver License to ensure it is valid, look at your photo and face. Hand you the ballot. You take it across the room to privately vote, and you take it to another machine, insert it and the vote is immediately counted. There are at least a dozen election volunteers checking everything.
Didn’t you have to sign a pin pad for signature verification? We have to do that in Wakulla (Big Bend).
Odd – seems to me that a pin pad can (or can be programmed to?) accept any sort of random scrawl – if desired.
Not exactly secure…
A receipt is immediately generated at my polling place with a facsimile of your signature which is checked against your DL.
The receipt also has your printed name below the signature. It is placed in a secure box. So, no, rando scrawls, unless they match your DL, won’t fly.
Northern Alabama south of Huntsville. Drove by two polling places at 8 AM. Both packed. Went to vote at 1030. Still very busy. Interesting, as I was waiting in line to put my ballot in the machine, I was amazed to hear lots of discussion about how to use the ballot and the reading machine. Seems like lots of new/first time voters.
Quiet in my precinct (Richmond, VA suburb) at 10AM. Just over 200 had voted. But precinct split in half since 2020.
Should be a win for R congressman to hold his seat.
Just got back from voting in Iredell County, NC. Voting traffic didn’t seem unusual to what I’ve seen previously but it’s a small town so I wouldn’t expect it to be.
Filled out my ballot very carefully and made sure all choices were very dark and clearly marked. Still took me feeding my ballot to the machine 3 times before it accepted it. Worth noting…..
We live just North of Charlotte,NC. Husband went to vote late this morning. He texted to say he was surrounded by mask wearers.
I was off work today and strolled into my polling station around 10 am this morning in Central Florida. No lines or waiting to vote. I had contemplated voting early last week. I didn’t because the line was always out the door of our public library. Glad I waited to vote on election day.
I have come to the conclusion that the prepper community are as stupid as the Democrats! They claim its better to stay home and pray!
well they are preparing for disaster and by their actions they are ensuring that it happens
Exactly! Self fulfilling, and nihilistic
🙄🤪
I took two ballots to the drop box near my house this morning (mine and my DH’s). While we were there, we saw people walking theirs up as well. Interestingly, there was an occupied police car parked 10 feet away from the drop box.
BREAKING: Republicans expand lead to near 10,000 in Miami-Dade County, Florida in total ballots cast. These figures include both vote-by-mail and early vote, as well as Election Day ballots.
R: 222,623
D: 212,662
https://t.me/electionwizard/5110
All that means is Dems are waiting to see how many votes they need to fabricate to squeak out win.
Small precinct with about 400 registered voters.
32 voted by mail. 75 have voted in person so far today.
Been consistently busy since 6am.
About 55 voted in the primary.
Turn out is looking pretty good.
Seeing the most voter cards voluntarily being offered (can’t ask for ID in Illinois, unless not registered) & drivers licenses. People want ID for voting & they are doing on their own 😀
Time is going by quickly.
Just seeing all the shenanigans going on around the country on my phone. 🤬
Lee County Florida…Long lines this morning, was about a 45-minute wait from arrival to out the door.
FYI – In Lee County they are usually 87(I think) polling locations and today there are only 13. 😬
While standing in line the little bit of conversation I did hear was definitely conservative and the people behind me apparently left New Jersey because they were tired of seeing Murphy and the other Democrats getting re-elected.
Cincinnati OH in very liberal neighborhood – Booths were full and being refilled with a steady stream of entrances about 11 am EST. Only a short line to get a ballot. We had a lot of issues and local races on our ballots. I usually vote later in the day. So I’m not sure if the steady full activity is normal for this time of day. There were only 2 campaigners at the street where we pulled in but I couldn’t see the cards they were distributing.
We use paper ballots fed into machines. And I can’t recall any contested vote counts that have been audited in our area even through our SOS went on a binge tour in summer of 2021 proclaiming that Ohio’s elections were secure. I questioned at the time why he felt all the proclamations were necessary. One of my friends had told me when she went to vote in 2020 (another county), she was told she had already voted. She was never contacted by the Board of Elections or SOS to know why she was told that and forced to vote via provisional ballot which she doesn’t know if it counted.
First time commenter here. I’ve been grateful to you all over the past 5 or so years as a daily reader. Particularly grateful to Sundance, especially after Rush passed away. While I’ve donated to Sundance, I’ve never commented because I am not on social media at all. But today, I feel compelled to thank you all.
In Georgia today, I was able to vote. My neighbor, however, witnessed “the scanner of printed ballots” was “down.” She was told they were going to collect the ballots and “lock them up” until the scanner was fixed.
I am grateful for yesterday’s comment from “Talk to the Hand Progs” for letting us know about how to report any issues in Georgia through ga.protectthevote.com or the RNC election hotline. I was able to get my neighbor and one other person to call that hotline and report the above activity. My husband still must vote later today (we are MAGA game day voters) and I told him he must show up regardless even if they tell him at the door the scanner is broken. They also told me all cell phones must be turned off before allowed in – is this accurate?
Thank you all, Sundance, Menagerie, Dutchman, “Retired Magistrate here” and so many more – with not enough retirement savings, I am doing what I can and trusting that God has always provided all my life and will continue to do so. Treepers are a blessing to all. Go Dawgs!
“They also told me all cell phones must be turned off before allowed in – is this accurate? ”

Dearie,
Do you expect others to know your state’s election laws?
You have a computer and a good brain. Use both to find the answer.
Or just start recording the goings on with your phone and see what happens.
You are right, Thus Sayeth. I guess I was just so excited to finally become an active participant here in the Treehouse I commented before doing that research. I just did and found out cell phones are not allowed in Georgia polls.
The Constitution of the State of Georgia affirms “elections by the people shall be by secret ballot,” and that secrecy is upheld by Georgia law, which states you can’t use a camera, recording device, or a cell phone while inside a polling location.
According to GA Code 21-2-413 (2020), “no person shall use photographic or other electronic monitoring or recording devices, cameras, or cellular telephones while such person is in a polling place while voting is taking place.”
Welcome, Little Lilac! You just did your due-diligence (I also sometimes forget to do it and end up scrambling to edit a post).
You will fit in perfectly here.
Thank you very much!
I saw your reply to Marie earlier, and now this.
You’re a pretty arrogant, rude person. Stop it.
Extremely condescending to address Lilac as “dearie”!
Steady flow of voters in York County rural district; I was voter 169 on my machine; machines working smoothly
What a great idea … wear RED. Wish I’d known.
Quiet voting day in Northern Cook County. I generally fly under the radar in our neighborhood, after all we re-elect Northshore Commie Jan Schakowski year after year. Was there a sense of quiet desperation here this morning? Maybe … If so, that would be surprising. This is pretty safely Blue Territory. I know many are “afraid” of the Republican running for Governor here.
First time as election inspector in my small polling place in upstate NY which is for 4 districts. Steady flow of voters all morning. Another worker who has done this for many years said his district usually hits 100 votes around 7 or 8pm and they hit 100 votes by 10 am already…..hmmmm…can’t wait to start seeing results.
Michigan Republican Voters Told They Have Already Voted in Detroit

This is VA.

@AnthonyNBC12
🚨NOW: We are seeing problems across our viewing area, particularly in Chesterfield County.
Two districts are voting at the SAME precinct.
Machines not working.
People turned away.
A precinct opening 30-40 min. LATE
Are you having issues at your polling place?!
@NBC12
Voted this morning at 6:30 am, in Pender County, NC. About 10 people were there. Everything went smoothly. Small steady stream of voters rolling in after us.
Powerball looking rigged. Out to show the normies that everything is. That might awaken them with the steal taking place today. The dems have no options other than to steal and protect themselves. My house voted.
Yeah, this drawing is highly suspect.
In small town north of Baton Rouge. Husband and I went to vote just before 6:00 am. Twenty people in line. I expected more, but then realized schools are closed today. I would think they were dropping off kids at relatives. Very pleasant atmosphere. I have to run to the store. I will look at the cars in the library as I drive by in a bit.
Poll worker in city of Cleveland (Cuyahoga County).
This location has only 1 precinct and posted mandatory 11AM report.
Very light turnout so far.
1/3 Dems, 1/3 Repubs, 1/3 No Party …
