National media are backing away slowly from Arizona Democrat gubernatorial candidate Katie Hobbs, using her refusal to debate Republican candidate Kari Lake as the justification. However, the reality behind the slow exit appears related more to the sheer “valley girl” ineptitude, than the debate decision. Hobbs is a terrible candidate.
Despite her current role as Arizona Secretary of State, you only need to watch her efforts to present herself to an audience, any audience, to see the construct of a progressive political candidate who has no qualifications to run a state office. More exposure only highlights the ineptitude.

IF, is the key word here. If Republican candidates don’t get at least 15% more votes than the Dems, they can usually cheat enough with absentee/mail-in ballots to turn the election so they come out the winners.
It’s timing, too. We beat the cheat to get Kari Lake on the ballot by voting on primary Election Day, by the hundreds of thousands, all over the state. They didn’t have enough time to generate that many fake ballots, although they took days and days and really tried.

The real issue with all this is that Ms. Hobbs is currently the AZ SOS, and she did NOT recuse herself from this election, in spite of the fact that she is the Dem candidate running for governor. This will accelerate as the summer “Republicans are doomed” shifts to the Election narrative of co-opting the Republicans who win and the blue shirts all change to red shirts. The reason we see a slate of MAGA Candidates running in the General, in Az. is because a group of patriots got P.O.’d at seeing the State R party insure two Democrat Senators for Az.
And so, FIRST the conducted an insurgency, within the State R party, eliminating RINOS, so that a MAGA Candidate would have a chance to win the primary, instead of fighting in a rigged primary.
