A Monmouth University poll did a singular issue comparison. 82% of Americans ranked inflation as the most important issue, but gave Biden an abysmal 30% approval over his handling of it. 72% rank crime as a priority, but delivered the president a 32% score on that. Immigration is important to 67%, but Biden gets a 31% mark.  Even on abortion, Joe grades poorly at 31%. Across the board, Biden’s report card is an unqualified “F.”

These numbers reflect common sense. Nearly two-thirds of Americans live paycheck to paycheck. They have no savings, nothing to fall back on. They are unable to weather severe financial storms like the staggering inflation that was triggered, in large part, by Biden’s profligate spending and his dismantling of U.S. energy independence that once made gasoline costs affordable. Consumer prices for everything are through the roof. Buying groceries to sustain your family can land you in the figurative poor house.

Steve Bannon Has Strong Legal Grounds To Get His J-6 Contempt Conviction Tossed

Even U.S. district court judge Carl Nichols recognizes that Bannon’s contempt conviction is likely to get tossed out, which is why he took the extraordinary step of issuing a stay of sentence pending appeal.

When Bannon was subpoenaed by the J-6 Committee, Trump’s lawyer sent him a letter stating that the president invoked executive privilege and therefore directed him not to testify. Trump holds the privilege, not Bannon. Under law, Bannon cannot waive it or violate it. So, on advice of his own counsel, Bannon declined to testify. It was the correct advice.

But at trial, Judge Nichols applied the wrong standard on “willful” defiance of a subpoena. He relied on an outdated 61-year-old DC circuit court case (Licavoli v. U.S., 1961) that was based on a Supreme Court decision that was later repudiated by the high court and overturned. The correct standard, as the Supreme Court has since enunciated, is that prosecutors must show that the defendant knew his actions were unlawful. But if a defendant believes his response to the subpoena is lawful, then he cannot be convicted.

CNN changed Pelosi’s words from “I hope he comes. I want to punch him out,” to “If he comes, I’m going to punch him out” – preventing the reader from seeing that Pelosi actually wished Trump would show up, so she could punch him.

CNN also omitted a sentence in the middle of its transcript – in which Pelosi says that she relishes the thought of Trump’s appearance, because her time to shine had come: “This is my moment.”

1. I have NEVER told people not to vote. Show me where I have ever made such a statement. I have not. 

2. I have stated that as a matter of principle, I personally choose not to vote in an election I strongly believe or know is rigged. Why would anyone deny me that right???

3. I have stated as a matter of historically provable fact my belief that a country cannot vote its way out of a rigged election system. Check Venezuela among many others. 

4. I have urged each citizen to make sure that the candidates earn his or her vote. Surely that makes sense to anyone who wants truly representative government officials who should be held accountable for not doing the will of their constituents. 

Every person has the right to make his or her own choice on whether to vote. I just pray that each person choose wisely.

President Trump urges that you vote. But he also has made clear that your vote must be an honest vote. He is the President. I would never expect him to express anything to the contrary. The FAKE media and his opponents would crucify him if he did so. 

I have no issue debating or discussing my position on rigged elections and/or the exercise of the right to vote with anyone. 

But the debate must be based on TRUTH and not on a distortion of my comments by shills and propagandists.

The Bible teaches – God gave us homo sapiens an eternal soul in a body that survives for roughly 120 years – but less so for a long time…. We are to experience the joys + pains of this life in this physical environment.

Ultimately , we are to learn about our Shortcomings as well as Strengths. Those who come to realize that we are essential fallen + corrupt – incapable of becoming God Himself – will value God’s Being + worship Him + seek His forgiveness. — which is ultimately completed 2,000 years ago on a cross + an empty tomb…

I will never accept putting a computer chip in my brain no matter how much they promise it will raise me into a higher, better state of being. Back in the late 1990s I engaged Investment Bankers to decide what to do with MCSNet as the firm’s CEO. I had laid before me three basic options:

1. Attempt to take the company public, lever it up and expand it to the best of my ability at the most-rapid pace I could get away with, endeavoring to execute an IPO. This of course had great risk (if you try and fail the leverage will probably kill you) but also great potential reward (a billion was certainly possible, a hundred million easy.)

2. Sell it to whoever we could market it to in its current (very healthy) financial condition, unlevered.

3. Run it to deliberate destruction, extracting as much as possible but investing nothing.

I decided to execute on #2.

Read #3 however many times you need to until it sinks on for one simple reason: If the government had ever told me it was going to deliberately destroy my industry or even just my firm that is the only sane choice I could have made. #1 would be fraud under those conditions for which I’d go to prison and #2 would fail. Therefore #3 it would be.

Every single fossil fuel firm in America has been told this, and thus until and unless the government that did this is forced to both retract it and never be able to do it again #3 is what they are and will all do.

They were not tried again in the disease scares (some real, some exaggerated) of 1929, 1940-44, 1957-58, 1967-68, 2003, 2005, or 2009. In those days, even the national media urged calm and therapeutics during each infectious-disease scare. 

Somehow and for reasons that should be discussed – it could be intellectual error, political priorities, or some combination – 2020 became the year of an experiment without precedent, not only in the US but all over the world with the exception of perhaps five nations among which we can include the state of South Dakota. The sick and the well were quarantined, along with stay-at-home orders, domestic capacity limits, and business, school, and church shutdowns, 

Nothing turned out according to plan.

Don’t Buy the Narrative on Ukraine

The Western party line about a struggling Russia and a resilient Ukraine overlooks hard realities.

Vladimir Putin’s decision to mobilize reserves for the war in Ukraine has stirred feelings around the world. The former politician and Russian opposition leader Gennady Gudkov posted an aerial view of a 15-lane desert highway with a traffic jam pushing into the horizon. “I am being told,” Gudkov wrote, “this is the [Russian] border with Mongolia on September 22. Be sure to zoom in to examine the picture.” Multiple large vehicles, perhaps buses, were mingled among sedans, suggesting that we are witnessing some sort of mass evacuation of Russians unwilling to serve in Ukraine. 

A day earlier I saw the same picture passed on by a Russian blue-check account (I forgot which) claiming that it was the Russia-Kazakhstan border. But, as any resident of the Western United States knows, the photograph, which as of this writing is still available for viewing on Twitter, is of neither. It’s the road to the Burning Man festival in the Nevada desert, and the large vehicles are the RVs in which revelers intend to stay at the event.

I can’t say that the incident turned me against Gudkov, or anyone else in liberal Russian opposition. I find many of them well-informed and relatable. It is just that it is an emotional time in Eastern Europe, and pretty much every opposition figure is overcome by feelings, which is why I find their media mostly useless when it comes to this particular conflict. For reasons far less obvious, the Western media is equally emotionally invested in the conflict, and extraordinarily clueless on top of it.

Ukraine war is ‘Biden’s war’ now

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Oct 18, 2022 that evidence of military personnel of United States and other Western countries having their boots on the ground in Ukraine is mounting.

The most obvious explanation to the mysterious air dash of the UK Defence Minister Ben Wallace to Washington on Tuesday could be that he was canvassing for the support of the Biden Administration for his pitch to succeed Liz Truss as Britain’s next prime minister. But another plausible explanation can be that the secret, hurried trip marked a defining moment in the conflict in Ukraine, which is showing all signs of turning into a full-fledged war.
