In an effort to keep the Daily Open Thread a little more open topic we are going to start a new daily thread for “Presidential Politics”. Please use this thread to post anything relating to the JoeBama Administration and Presidency.
“This is no small thing, to restore a republic after it has fallen into corruption. I have studied history for years and I cannot recall it ever happening. It may be that our task is impossible. Yet, if we do not try then how will we know it can’t be done? And if we do not try, it most certainly won’t be done. The Founders’ Republic, and the larger war for western civilization, will be lost.”
“But I tell you this: We will not go gently into that bloody collectivist good night. Indeed, we will make with our defiance such a sound as ALL history from that day forward will be forced to note, even if they despise us in the writing of it.”
This thread will refresh daily and appear above the Open Discussion Thread.
Whenever the possibility presents, throw sand into the machinery…

ANOTHER DEAD RUSSIAN FROM ENERY INDUSTRY
“Russian politician, 47 – a former gas industry executive – becomes the latest energy official to die since Ukraine was invaded”
By Will Stewart
10/13/2022
At dailymail.co.uk
Deaths among Oligarchs and other prominent Russians since Putin invaded Ukraine is 12 or 13 – I’ve lost count. Most are among gas industry leaders.
Quote:
“Nikolay Petrunin, 47, dubbed the ‘Gas wonderkid’, allegedly died from complications from Covid after being in a coma for a month, although this has not been confirmed.”
This death may not be an assassination. It is another prominent gas industry death.
This article describes the incidents of supposed murder/suicide of families, guys jumping from high places, falling down stairs, etc.
Statistically, this cluster of deaths among a relatively small group is extremely unlikely.
Probably fell off of his huge pile of money from the gas sales.
Oh no! Quick send billions more and draft our children! We must save the poor Russian oligarchs!
May be????? May not be??????? BS.
More indication that this administration does not have the support of the US Military and must rely on State Department/CIA to push its agenda.
Some organization is out to take down the Russian oil and gas industry. Wonder who that would be?
I’ve agreed with this guy for a very long time and we now see his commone sense predictions were absolutely correct. Cued to the best part.

They applaud short term gains. The shorter the better.
Reminds me of the people who will try to kill you on the road just to get to the stop light ahead of you.
After watching Tucker Carlson, if John Fedderman “wins” in Pennsylvania – I’m checking out…
He is a massive train wreck. He should not even be a Senate candidate.
Blink twice Mr Fedderman if you understand the words that are coming outta my mouth
The way I understood it….Fedderman was not only having the questions interpreted but also given the answers via his computer screen….
Joe 2.0. He’s kind of the perfect Dem candidate to be honest. 😂😒
You and me both….and hundreds of thousands. Wolf and Rino’s were bad enough…This would be the tipping point of leaving PA.
I was just in Gettysburg. I saw Fetterman signs in the business district and a few of the neighborhoods. Except when I talked to some residents and local business owners their disgust for Fetterman and this insane administration was off the charts. So of course the signs are strategically placed not on private property.
That said, Oz is such a poor choice to go up against the bottomless well of Marxist money. Oh well.
The Doctor Oz campaign statement is perfect.
I can not disagree with his view of covid .
“The urgency of my decision crystalized during the pandemic.
At least half a million American people have died from the virus, a devastating toll for families and communities.
What also hurts is that many of those deaths were preventable.
Covid-19 became an excuse for government and elite thinkers who controlled the means of communication,
especially social media and our major news agencies, to suspend debate.
Dissenting opinions from leading scholars, even Nobel Laureates, were cancelled and ridiculed so their ideas could not be disseminated.
Doctors were forbidden from prescribing legal medications for the first time in our nation’s history.
I tried to fund clinical trials to re-purpose an already widely used drug for possible benefits against Covid-19,
but they were banned. Instead, government mandated policies that caused unnecessary suffering.”
https://doctoroz.com/why-running/
That works for me.
Would love to hear President Trump come out with a similar statement.
By endorsing Dr. Oz, I would venture to say that President Trump IS endorsing THIS.

Let’s hope he loses. BUT. If he wins, maybe his unfitness causes him to stap out down the road. If that happens, wouldn’t the governor get to appoint a replacement?
That could be Mastriano?
A whole of “ifs”. …….
I cannot for the life of me remember which Treehouser dubbed Festerman “Fat Lenin LaVey” but it was dead nuts accurate. Hat tip whoever you are.
And a cross with Uncle Fester.
The polls have GOT to be WAY OFF. There’s no way this useless Trust Fund Baby is anywhere NEAR leading this race. Even the lefties inhabiting the mean streets of Philly (formerly- the city of brotherly love) cannot possibly be voting for this $rich white bro.
I’m in the Philly suburbs, surrounded by Fetterman signs, posted on private property.
A lot of affluent white people in the suburbs have retirement funds that have tanked.
i can’t believe they’d give the Dems this idiot .
I believe you, but even if you see 20 signs in a neighborhood of 200, that’s probably the crazies among the affluent.
They had better have those signs. It’s like having those signs announcing what security company you use, or the inane,” in this house we believe …” signs . It’s the lib lamb’s blood over the door. The hope is they home invalid you last😒

Public advertisement admitting a moron lives here. Some people just aren’t embarrassed.
they are not, but the algorithms and by mail boiler rooms are
They manufactured 81 million votes for a brain addled schlub, they can surely produce 3 million votes for a chub of mortadella.
This is the middle finger from the Dems—fostering such drool on Pennsylvanians again. Their list of menacing candidates is becoming common—they can run the devil he-self and still win, and they are letting us know it.
Ha! A “chub of mortadella” … you sound like my favorite old Italian Deli owner …
However Dems would admire a guy who successfully sponged off his parents to the age of 49…and then got on the state tab. Sounds like Bernie . They look up to such a “successful ” figure.😒
i found the “its a machine!” rhetoric highly unpersuasive and not a good look, frankly.
The argument is as simple as its always been – he is a terrible candidate with terrible ideas.
Remember when Missouri elected a dead man for US Senator and the governor gave the office to the dead man’s wife as a consolation?
Ashcroft and the Republicans should have challenged it in court, but instead, we got to suffer years of Claire McCaskill.
I thought Jean Carnahan was defeated by Jim Talent for Senate after her Senate appointment by that POS Roger Wilson expired?
You are correct. I mixed up the two. Still, Missouri elected a man who was already dead on election day.
I wonder what is on the back side of that sign?
“Eat at Joe’s”?
Echo Summit came to mind seeing that cartoon. Echo, echo, all the way down. Folks who’ve traveled 50 to Tahoe will know what I mean. If only cartoons could come to life.
I know THAT particular turn well. Which is why is usually take Hwy 80 …

Hey! When the snowplows pack snow walls up, that view down is non-existent . . .
Indeed … and your body won’t be found till the spring thaw.
But … wait … CA is in the grips of a neverending climate change SUV induced drought!! It’s NEVER gonna snow … ever again … unless we 6uild 6ack 6etter
I was just getting ready to type, “Hey, that’s highway 50 to Lake Tahoe, and right around that bend that often has huge rock slides is the most gorgeous view of one of the wonders of the world.”
Before I could, I read your quote.
https://nypost.com/2022/10/12/utter-proof-the-fbi-framed-trump-and-shielded-hunter/
FTA “What is not in doubt, though, is that the trial is highlighting the FBI’s shocking malfeasance in the Trump-Russia “collusion” probe, which it codenamed “Crossfire Hurricane.”
Ultimately, the bureau never had to pay the $1 million because neither Steele nor Danchenko could prove the dossier allegations. In fact, according to court filings, Durham’s investigation has concluded the so-called pee tape was a complete fabrication. Further, when the FBI finally got around to interviewing Danchenko, months after it first received Steele’s reporting, Danchenko debunked it as a screed of rumor and innuendo, much of it exaggerated and gussied up to look like professional intelligence analysis.
Indeed, not only did the FBI fail to disclose to the Justice Department and the court that Danchenko had contradicted Steele’s claims. The bureau told the court it had interviewed Danchenko to “further corroborate” Steele’s reporting (which actually had not been corroborated). In so doing, the bureau elaborated, it found Danchenko to be “truthful and cooperative.”
Of course, what the FBI didn’t mention was that what Danchenko had been “truthful and cooperative” about was the fact that Steele’s claims were sheer nonsense. Thus, FISC judges were led to believe Danchenko had verified Steele’s reporting when the truth was just the opposite.”
I posted this because it was in the New York Post. I’m not a fan of McCarthy because he’s an anti Trumper not quite TDS but close. It’s a very watered down version of what Sundance has written but it made it to the Post and gives it some more publicity! Now what will be done about the “Utter proof the FBI framed Trump and shielded Hunter Biden”? Absolutely nothing!!!
I just received my Arizona Clean Election Education Guide in the mail.
Conveniently has a Spanish section and English Section. How nice../s.
I am calling it my –laugh Guide.
Katie Hobbs bio did it for me—I started with that and haven’t read any further. Obviously a propaganda Guide.
Here are the highlights—warning…do not drink beverage while reading–could get messy!
“As Secretary of state during the 2020 Election, Katie’s office conducted the safest and most secure Election in our
state’s history amid unprecedented challenges to our democracy “.
“Katie has never backed down from a tough fight”
That’s just the highlights of the propaganda.
I’m sure Hobbs will discharge her SoS duties in equally zealous fashion come November 8.
Heh /s….God be with you, Arizonans.
The guide clearly states that “this guide contains statements directly from the candidates…..” so does not purport to evaluate the accuracy of the statements.
It really is simply a compilation of campaign literature from all parties.
The ACCEC is a state government, tax funded agency mandated by a voter approved proposition in 1998.
Personally, I favor a proposition to dissolve this agency which sounds nice but hasn’t done much to promote “clean” elections as far as I can tell.
Besides the voter guide, they also conduct the candidate debates, and I will give them credit for standing up to Katie Hobbs and PBS in their attempt to completely circumvent and replace the governor debates.
I suspect this was really more about protecting their turf (candidate debates) than anything else.
When I went to the last primary I noticed an older lady sitting down at the voting booth…leafing through and reading the election guide.
Sad. On so many levels just really sad.
I don’t understand how that’s sad. She’s voting in a primary election. Maybe the election guide helped her remember her choices.
What is sad to me is “an older lady sitting” at home, not participating at all.
…” “Katie has never backed down from a tough fight”…..
Except she refuses to Debate Kari Lake.
wow.
First time for everything!/s.
“Safest and most secure election.”
is like
“Safe and effective vaccines.”
is like
“Mostly peaceful protests.”
Could go on and on detailing the “buzz-phrases” that “all” are required to parrot lest one be cancelled.
Well Hobb’s wrote it since she is the current SOS
Good grief.
PayPal is Reportedly Bribing Users $15 in a Desperate Move to Stop Them from Closing their Accounts
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2022/10/paypal-reportedly-bribing-users-15-desperate-move-stop-closing-accounts/
They’re going to need more money for bribes, heh.
I know, $15?? Seriously?? In this period of astronomical inflation??
Correct, but my email this morning from PayPal offered me $20…
I told someone in my family about PayPal and she’s going to switch. She needs to find one that isn’t affiliated with them, though.
It sems people dislike a business reserving the right to fine you
Accept the free $20, then close that shizzzz.
There are probably strings attached, like getting $$ on a new credit card, but only if you spend 1000 dollars within the first sixty days, and the thousand bucks can’t be spent on booze or tobacco products.
Closed mine this morning.
“You’re only as good as your latest customer. You have to fight for each one.”
PayPal™ should have seen the writing on the wall when their biggest and sustaining customer, eBay™, stopped doing business with them. But apparently they didn’t. Instead, they decided to make it known that they thought they could punish their remaining customers for their political beliefs, every law of “banking” notwithstanding …
I’m very sorry to say that: “You don’t get to survive that sort of thing.” Lo, how the Mighty have Fallen.
Now, as you grind your way through bankruptcy proceedings, just remember this: “You did it – all of it – to yourself.” Yes. Your company voluntarily committed suicide. Meanwhile, your former customers have moved on and they are now doing business quite nicely without you.
They didn’t need you after all. You needed them.
I just closed my account 15 seconds ago (after reading this as I was waiting for something like this to be offered – take the money and run!). Anyways, I must not be loved. All I got was “We’re sorry to see you go….”. 😆
The problem for folks like paypal, Wal-Mart , and other retail outfits etc, is they want to be part of the global ” reset” which includes doing away with the average person, but their business, their existence, depends on we herd animals still being around and producing. So what’s a new world order company gonna do!?😂
I herewith dub Z-Bag’s Ukraine War Porn Theatre routine The Kievan Ruse.

An never ending spool of violence from one small demographic cohort in America. How much longer before our DC politicians speak out and clean up this mess.
Young black males are about 6% of the population; but do 60% of violent crime in America?
The black community isn’t doing it. About time the rest of us do it.
Given very few criminal youths of any ethnicity love the government, why not make use of them? If the government can use BLM mercenaries against us, why not turnabout? Criminals hate the goverment anyway. Redefine their target package. Keep the fan belt inspectors busy. More Florida kiddie porn busts gone wrong. America.
Given it’s been The Official Democrat position to hate all people of color since their inception in 1830, starting with the Trail Of Tears, Jim Crow Laws, KKK, Great Society, and Planned(Genocide)Parenthood to name a few why wouldn’t the “Yoots”be better served taking out their anger on them?
But, but raciss!!
That’s always been the trap.
After the FBI is finished with the soccer moms at PTA meetings, the anti abortion advocates, and the anti biden faction, I am sure they will get right on it.
On a more serious note, it is note it is not time for the rest of us to do something about it, and it is not helpful to advocate for such.
You assume way too much in my statement “about time the rest of us do it”………….don’t presume to know what you don’t know.
You seem to think it means vigilantism? It doesn’t.

Trump escalator….just one of many
Mainly about Florida and Ron DeSantis, but also relates to the larger theme of what is and isn’t government’s job.
I notice that although we tend to bash everyone who works for a government agency, and in many cases they do deserve bashing, in a true emergency it’s the hard-working public employees who get the job done, and not some governor such as Andrew Cuomo of New York.
Reality In Florida, And For @GovRonDeSantis
Karl Denninger
EXCERPTS:
You can try to give the Governor DeSantis credit for the quite-rapid events following Ian in his state, such as reconnecting Pine Island with a bridge in just a few days, now the re-opening of Sanibel’s causeway, or Florida Power and Light getting the lights back on.
The truth is a bit more-complex; all these agencies really have nothing to do with what the Governor does, and never have. They’ve had decades of experience with storms and are good at it — which is a good thing. But just as the guy in the left seat always is to blame when the plane crashes, even if he had nothing to do with the engine falling off because some jackass screwed up maintenance the guy in the left seat also gets the credit even when its the dude back there with the crescent wrench in his carry-on bag that is responsible for everyone living.
Well, here we are and yeah, I get it — Sanibel Causeway has now reopened which, given the amount of damage is an amazing act of engineering. But DeSantis didn’t place one rivet, align one I-beam, move one cubic yard of debris or lay one foot of asphalt to repair that causeway and bridge. A huge number of people did work 24×7 to make that happen, and they deserve thanks.
But for those who got screwed due to all the scams, and the screwing that is now inevitably going to hit everyone in the state when it comes to the insurance market in that state in all respects in the months and years to come — well, that responsibility sits directly in the Governor’s chair along with that of the Legislature, neither of which has done a damn thing about any of it.
No Governor or Legislature can stop a hurricane — but all of them can throw fraudsters in prison and yet they never do, instead forcing you, the common citizen, to pay the bill for it.

HOW MANY ” Florida State Highway Trucks ” are in the Video from the Drone ?
CONTRACTORS with – MONETARY INCENTIVES For COMPLETION / TIMELINES ARE More EFFICIENT.
ACCURATE CONTRACTS / INCENTIVES Get the Job Done.
Florida doesn’t have FDOT trucks, graders, rollers etc. anymore sice we went full RINOtard and sold off all of our capability just so fat-cat donors like Anderson-Columbia could get rich on state paving contracts. 10% for the PolitiGuy.
Observing no FDOT trucks is observing Florida RINOtard grift in full flower.
Kind of like when Skeletor Scott sold our 2 executive jets without legislative approval to ‘save money’ because he had his OWN private jet.
What jet was DeSantis flying to New York on looking for donations for his non-Presidential Presidential bid? What else is bizarre to me it almost all of the Hurricane cleanup jobs I have looked into won’t pay per diem. They want South Florida residents who weren’t affected to come and fill the ranks. Best of luck filling those positions. I stayed in a tent and froze my stones off during the cleanup after Hurricane Ike made landfall in Texas in 08 only to be savagely burned by the contractor we worked for. These disaster monies are always followed by enormous fraud.
Here is an example of supreme stupidity.
It is one thing to build your foundations on sand, that alone is folly. But then to do it through an ocean of water prone to storms….we all pay for this, over and over again.
Just pure stupid.
Boy do we in Alabama (Coastal) region know about getting screwed by Insurance. Our state reps mostly represent counties above Mobile. Coastal Baldwin , Mobile Counties get saddled with increases in both wind and regular home insurance. Even though counties north of mobile account for most of the claims. Insurance is King in Alabama. Many when it comes to wind, self insure because it is costly and they have huge deductibles. Of course Mortgages have most over the barrel and they must carry despite the cost.
Uhm, yeah ok… 🙄

“Russia To ‘Modernize’ 800 Vintage T-62 Tanks Due To Ukraine Losses: Report”
“Russian plans to return hundreds of Cold War-era T-62s to service points to serious attrition, supply chain, and industrial capacity problems.”
By Joseph Trevithick
10/12/2022
At thedrive.com
Quote:
“The Russian military is reportedly set to receive some 800 refurbished and possibly upgraded T-62 tanks in the next three years to try to help make up for severe losses it has already sustained in its ongoing all-out invasion of Ukraine. Many of the nearly antique T-62s have already been pulled out of deep storage and sent to Ukraine, where they have shown to be of debatable utility.”
Nothing proves you are winning like having to refurbish a bunch of old tanks to replace losses you haven’t admitted happened.
The three year delivery time schedule for 800 T-62 tanks is a huge clue about how many of Russia’s thousands of tanks in storage may actually be salvageable, and, the slow rate at which they can be refurbished.
CIA propaganda is a helluva drug
Apparently the easiest way to “counter” an opponent who is beating the pants off of you is to insist that he is “losing.” 🤷♂️
Kindly note also that this has never been “an all-out invasion of Ukraine.” Had this been their goal, they very easily could have done it. But in February, Putin very carefully spelled out what the military objectives were, and weren’t, and since then they have consistently followed that mission statement.
After a mere seven months of fairly low-grade fighting, it seems that “EU/USA/NATO” finds itself running out of ammunition. This does not bode well for you … 🤡
And what exactly has Ukraine been using for the last 8 months? All the old Soviet tanks they had in Ukraine? Russia has already”demilitarized” the majority of those Ukraine Soviet tanks.
Refurbished Soviet tanks that were updated in 80’s and 90’s.
Why do you think Zelensky keeps asking for more? More tanks, more arms, more ammunition–
What has happened to all the equipment that Ukraine had at beginning, and that has continuously been sent?
Russia is well known for conserving its resources. Nothing new.
We waste money and resources. They don’t.
You need better sources.
Sounds like the same sources that keep saying—Russia is out of missiles!
Judge Napolitano and Col McGregor’s latest.
It could be they are saving the good stuff for a greater war. They would be stupid to deplete their best right now when there is a possibility of the war extending to include NATO countries that have more sophisticated weapons.
yawn….and again this has NOTHING to do with Presidential politics.
It seems to me that the reason Russia is dragging this war on is, that as long as this war lasts, they are seriously depleting the US economy, oil reserves, and political capital.
In war, nothing is ever as it seems.
And money…..
I spend a lot of time on Twitter, out of necessity, to do my work. When I find something I believe is noteworthy, I share it, and I share it as I found it.
Some people do not like Twitter, I get that.
Sometimes I find something others have missed, that is especially useful to our cause here, the Resistance.
Sundance cannot be everywhere and find everything on his own, he depends on us to help him keep on top of things.
If anyone finds my sharing of tweets painful, please just scroll on by.
I’m usually fine with them. Just put description in them. I don’t do twitter. I kind of see you folks as the ones who wade into the morass and bring stuff out. Kinda like our host who suffers thru television commentary for the “good” nuggets.
Thank you.
I pay attention to your comments. Thanks
You are welcome.
I agree with Brant: instead of simply posting a “Twitter link” (or any other type of “link”), please add a short subsequent paragraph … a little synopsis … which tells me why you think that I should click it. That really makes all the difference. “A post” should be fairly self-contained.
I post a tweet, not a link. If the tweet doesn’t show, isn’t their some way for the reader to correct that?
The Truth About Tulsi Gabbard’s Big “Revelation”
Wow, she is trying really hard to be relevant.
Can’t stay away from the camera. Always coming out with a new schtick to stay in the public conscience. She’s ambitious.
The Monsters That Be know they are creating global famine and that pandemics will inevitably flow from that as has been and will be for all of human history.
So, are they turning the energy taps back on and producing fertilizer and creating crash programs to support farming and food production and distribution?
Hell No! That would be the humane and sane approach, but no, they are developing new Vaxxines to combat the inevitable illnesses that will proliferate in the hungry dystopia on our doorstep. Well, that’s what they say they are for . . . and the starving sickly masses will line up for every one.
Malnutrition vaccines for an imminent global food catastrophe
Together with climate change, both the geopolitical events in Ukraine and social disruptions in supply chains from the COVID-19 pandemic could produce global food shortages or even mass starvation events. Promising new interventions include vaccines to prevent infectious causes of malnutrition or infections disproportionately causing death among the malnourished.
I don’t see any of our ‘leaders’ even demonstrating that they are aware of the approaching famine.
Nope, but I bet they are invested in these Vaxxines.
Interestingly enough, half of the noted illnesses could be addressed with Ivermectin . . .
And, interestingly enough, I happen to take weekly doses of Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine, and I never had any Covid symptoms since Jan 2020, if I even had it then.
Monsters are returning us to the late 1800’s lack of hygiene, sanitation and nutrition so diseases that were wiped out by improvements in water quality, municipal sewage treatment and invention of motorized vehicles to replace horses will again flourish –They want dirty unclean poverty ridden people that are malnourished and desperate . Back to the dark ages.
Haven’t they heard we already have prevention and cures for famine? It’s called food.
The world doesn’t need another vaccine. It needs an immediate intervention to put a stop to the Big Bully GovernmentPharma abuse that’s been so viciously steamrolling humanity.
Interesting thing about banks/credit cards happened to me recently. I have a credit card. The one that gives pretty good % back in bucks for gift cards or pay the balance, etc. I dont do plane miles.
Well I had it auto paid out of a rather large bank….WF. I use primarily because they are everywhere. But due to their debit card shenanigans of several $1,000 (that I have been credited for), I am using another bank with about 25 branches in Georgia. They have a deal if you use ATM elsewhere, they don’t charge the fees for 3-4 per month. Indeed it did work and only the amount of the ATM money I got was deducted. So, I’m pretty much going with them now.
So, here is the “funny” thing. I redid the auto pay for the credit card to this other GA only bank. Not the WF mega bank. I got a letter in the mail feom the credit card stating the new (smaller) bank info could not be verified. I thought maybe I mis typed a number or something. You know they ask to type routing and account number then retype account number. I went back to credit card to put it in the system again. Will see if I get another “can’t validate bank info” letter. That would tell me this smaller bank is not acceptable to the credit card company.
A relative of mine who does a lot of shopping online just had her bank contact her about suspicious activity with her debit card. She has to go to the bank in person today, because she needs to cancel her card and get a new one, and today is the first day she can go after work.
She also has to tell them it is being cancelled and a new card issued due to fraud, so she can receive the new card faster than it normally takes to issue.
Buying in person, with cash, frees you of these issues, some people want the convenience of shopping online and paying with a card.
You’ve outline one problem people may encounter.
I wrote yesterday about all the stores I’ve noticed trying to make it harder for customers to use cash. What happens when they force cashless on all of us?
How much of our lives will be taken up with these kinds of hassles? How many of us will be refused groceres or gas, because our card suddenly doesn’t work?
I got a new card issued and before I even saw it’s $1,070 was debited. Basically only maybe in the mail 2-3 hours. Proves to me that second card was an inside job.
Are you now, or have you ever been, a Treeper?
KnowutImeanVern?
What I routinely use for on-line purchases are the “refillable debit cards” that you can buy at any grocery checkout. Yes, there is a small fee, but it’s a fair price for the convenience and security. You put onto this card exactly the amount of money that you intend to use, and refill it as often as necessary. (I have four or five of these cards in my desk drawer …) So, if anyone steals that card-number, it won’t be of any value to them because the money isn’t there. The cards can be processed exactly like any other debit or credit card. But my “real bank accounts” are never exposed.
PayPal™ used to be my go-to resource for this, because they were very good about detecting and handling fraud. Unfortunately, this company is simply “no longer the company that it used to be,” and so I have taken my business elsewhere.
Have never had a debit card and don’t intend to get one. My bank (reluctantly) gives me an ATM-only card. Here in Hawaii people don’t trust mainland banks so we don’t have them. Our no 1 bank was owned by the French (Paribas) for a while but was spun off to be independent again. B of A was here for a while after buying a local S&L during the S&L crisis, but didn’t make money.
I don’t have CC or anything else pull from bank. I push from the bank’s bill pay service. OFC, that means you have to watch when the payment amount varies, but I like that better.
Here is a great article on Danchenko trial. Clinton family pal Charles Dolan was on the stand admitting that he lied to Danchenko this morning. I dont think special Counsel office cares about a guilty verdict they are going for the win against the elite subculture. I like to think of that subculture as hell now.
As I recall, some celebrity types were getting more than one course of treatment with this drug.

Incidentally the part that causes this appears to be the ritonavir, an AIDS medication that has been used for a long time and thus that it had potentially dangerous interactions with other drugs has been known for over a decade.

Ritonivir is like Remdesivir; a dusty old patent Fauci had in his sock drawer he vowed to make money on, one way or another.
My brother-in-law nearly died after being given Paxlovid.
The reason they didn’t bother to test the vaxx to see if it prevented transmission is because they already knew damn well it would not.
Prove me wrong.
They also didn’t want to develop data showing asymptomatic spread wasn’t significant. They couldn’t scare everyone if people knew asymptomatic spread wasn’t something to be concerned about.
I believe it is doing what it was intended to do.
Obviously his defense attorney did a lousy job of jury selection. Jones should fire them immediately before he appeals.
The judge ruled that Alex was not allowed to present a defense and was already pronounced guilty. The ‘trial’ was simply prosecutors and ‘victims’ saying whatever they wanted to the jury for them to make a decision on damages.
We no longer even have a pretense of justice in this country.

Michael Yon is the real deal, in the trenches worldwide, just about ready to fly back from a three month excursion crisscrossing Europe, one of the best read and most extensively connected researchers on the ground, and his diagnosis is not pretty, with a prognosis that few will want to hear, but those with a stake in and committed to the future of humanity will appreciate this interview with Jordan Peterson.

I heard that they are going to fly the Venezuelans in from Mexico to alleviate the stress at the border. So, maybe not anything to celebrate.
Why just the Venezuelans?

President Trump at the time noted it was a sad thing, IIRC, that this young man didn’t receive any help before he destroyed the lives of so many others. It makes me angry, because I had high hopes that he was going to be the president who did something about the deplorable lack of adequate care for the severly mentally ill in our country.
He was kept too busy with too much nonsense and too many corrupt attacks to be able to accomplish the kind of agenda he wanted to.

Reagan’s threat meets Covid
Every crisis, they say, is an opportunity. And boy have health bureaucrats and drug regulators exploited the Covid-19 crisis to grab power and gain control over our lives. The latest iteration of this will play out in Brisbane on 11 October with the second reading of an amendment to the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act that will fundamentally reshape the relationship between doctors, patients and health regulators. It’s hard to see how people’s faith in doctors will not collapse once they realise doctors are barred from questioning putative benefits or pointing to possible risks of alternative treatments. Instead, they must stay within the boundaries laid down by bureaucrats and regulators, the latter often subject to industry capture. Readers will know the outcome by now. If it passes, the chances of reversing it are much slimmer but not hopeless at the third and final reading. If rejected, vigilance will still be required to prevent a return of a similar bill.

The Biden Admin reveals its new National Security Strategy: climate change, diversity, equity and inclusion
The inmates have taken over the ideological asylum.
Jordan Schachtel
The Biden Administration released its first National Security Strategy (NSS) document Wednesday, and it is exponentially more unhinged than any of its predecessors. The NSS was once understood as a serious document compiling a list of *actual* threats to the nation. It now resembles a hyper-political Blue Anon fundraising mailer.
Most of the items discussed in the supposed threat assessment have nothing to do with national security at all. And the things that are related to national security matters have major prioritization and politicization issues.
Prior to launching The Dossier, your humble correspondent was a somewhat seasoned national security correspondent. As a periodic consumer of these strategy documents, I can assure you that not even the Obama Administration inserted its political agenda as aggressively as the Biden regime is choosing to do this year.

I think Macron doesn’t actually hate his country.
Well, count France out of the WWIII coalition. Macron has surprisingly been one of the more rational voices at the table, despite his occasional Hollywood theatrics.
Interesting fact.
Sorry. Not a fact, even though I’ll grant it is interesting as an idea. Russia is expected to have spent almost $91 billion on this conflict by year’s end:
https://jamestown.org/program/russias-skyrocketing-defense-spending-2022-2023/
And, according to the State Department, the US will have spent around $17.5 billion from the beginning of the current administration up to October 4th:
https://www.state.gov/625-million-in-additional-u-s-military-assistance-for-ukraine/#:~:text=This%20drawdown%20will%20bring%20the,extraordinary%20courage%20and%20boundless%20determination.
It’s perfectly fair to question whether any of our money is being spent to our benefit, but the facts still are what they are. We’ve spent a lot on this conflict. And Russia has spent even more.

Once in a while a democRAT politician is honest. Here’s one of Minnesota’s Representatives in Congress speaking …
Rep. Angie Craig (D): “I will never stop standing up FOR big pharma and standing AGAINST my constituents.”
LOL!
Just how bad a representative is Angie Craig? Well, during Trump’s presidency, she voted in line with Trump’s positions just 5.5% of the time. As of June 2022, she voted for Biden’s position 100% of the time.
Now mind you, she won reelection in Minnesota’s 2020 election by a measly 2% margin … less than 10000 votes. BUT Minnesota is one of the states that used voting machines (like Dominion’s) that could be connected to the internet. And both Minnesota and Wisconsin had early morning spikes in votes which changed the outcome of the race. Read this …
https://systembustersparadise.com/2020-minnesota-elections-must-be-fully-investigated-dominion-hammer-scorecard-programs/
And Minnesota had a 90% turnout in 2020, which was suspiciously high relative to other states.
For example …
STATE ——- Voter Turnout
Minnesota ——– 90%
Wisconsin ——– 89% (Wisconsin used similar voting machines)
Florida ———– 79%
Iowa ————- 75%
Ohio ————- 71%
Texas ———— 69%
Georgia ———– 66%
Michigan ———- 66%
AND the turnout (in both Minnesota and Wisconsin) was also high relative to previous elections.
Year ——- Turnout in Minnesota ——- Turnout in Wisconsin
2020 ————–90% ———————— 89%
2016 ————–75% ———————— 67%
2012 ————– 76% ———————— 70%
2008 ————–78% ———————— 69%
2004 ————–79% ———————— 73%
I seriously doubt she won reelection in 2020.
Paxton Once Again Victorious in Federal Court
After Suing to End Feds’ Unlawful DACA Policy
AUSTIN – The New Orleans-based U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit has affirmed that the President lacked the legal authority to institute the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program after the policy was challenged by a coalition led by Attorney General Ken Paxton.
The Fifth Circuit’s ruling came after a district court previously recognized the unlawful nature of DACA, a program that allows certain illegal aliens the ability to lawfully stay in the United States, gain lawful employment, and receive Social Security and Medicare.
This decision affirms the lower court’s ruling that the Obama Administration unlawfully created DACA, in violation of the Administrative Procedure Act. The Fifth Circuit also ruled that the Administration lacked the legal authority to create the policy in the first place, noting that “[t]here is no ‘clear congressional authorization’ for the power that DHS claims.” The ruling prohibits the federal government from enrolling any new illegal immigrants into the DACA program.
“Only Congress has the ability to write our nation’s immigration laws, and I applaud the Fifth Circuit for affirming DACA as the unlawful executive action that it is,” said Attorney General Paxton. “The chaos at our southern border is bringing violence to our communities and costing Texans hundreds of millions of dollars. President Obama’s refusal to enforce immigration law was an offensive dereliction of duty then, just as President Biden’s refusal to help secure our border is now.”
In recognizing Texas’s legal standing to bring the case, the court highlighted just how steep the costs of DACA are to the people of Texas: “Texas has satisfied the first standing requirement by demonstrating injury in fact . . . . Texas presented evidence that it spends millions of dollars providing these services to unauthorized aliens each year . . . . An expert for defendants estimated that DACA recipients overall impose a cost of more than $250,000,000 on Texas per year and another $533,000,000 annually in costs to local Texas communities.”
https://www.texasattorneygeneral.gov/sites/default/files/images/press/fifth-circuit-daca-ruling-oct.-5-2022.pdf
The ruling means NOTHING if corrective action doesn’t follow. And when Trump tried to make corrective action, the courts recognized DACA as illegal but denied Trump’s right to cancel it? Given that it was a purely executive decision in the first place, it is not for the courts to rule against the next executive from cancelling it. It is simply NOT within their jurisdiction to rule against it.
There goes that circus music playing in my head again… when will it stop?
MINNESOTA MEDICAL STUDENTS PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO WOKE POLITICS OVER SCIENCE
Excerpt:
According to the Daily Mail, incoming medical students at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine recently read from a new pledge where they promised to “honor all Indigenous ways of healing.” This includes any methods that have been “historically marginalized by Western medicine.”
But that’s not all. As medical students, they promise to fight “white supremacy, colonialism [and] the gender binary.”
https://www.outkick.com/minnesota-medical-students-pledge-allegiance-woke-politics-science/
Some state politician’s pet project I expect, but there’s good in with the bad.
As medical providers they won’t really be in much of a position to fight white supremacy or colonialism except by not being a colonialist or supremacist. It doesn’t really come up as a topic in patient care.
I do think the statement about Indigenous ways of healing is great, because that affirms the usefulness of HERBAL MEDICINE as an additional method for treatment. Some patients can’t handle regular pharmaceuticals because of age, being on chemo etc. Sometimes herbals work when other traditional meds don’t. Most doctors won’t prescribe herbals or cannabis products simply because they haven’t studied it.
I was lucky to work for two docs (one in CA, one in WA) who also incorporated aspects of Traditional Chinese and Aryuvedic medicine as needed. Most docs won’t go any further than acupuncture and therapeutic massage. Other cultures can and do offer paths of knowledge Americans haven’t learned. Every new way to treat that works is a bonus.
Using preferred pronouns is just a way to respect patients who do care about that stuff, so it has been added to the entry forms for clinics. Providers are supposed to be as inclusive as possible in treating all patients they can accept (per insurance) with an equal dedication to their healing.
As to your third paragraph:

I have found this to be accurate, twice in my life so far.

Thomas declines to intervene in Trump motion seeking to reinstall Special Master..
https://www.zerohedge.com/political/supreme-court-denies-trump-motion-seeking-reinstall-special-master
Bad deal. I suppose that means no one but DOJ/FBI gets to see the documents and everyone must just trust that the DOJ/FBI has no ulterior motive. Disappointed in Thomas, especially in light of the latest testimony of FBI Auten of FBI having never corroborated the dossier but illegally targeted Trump anyway. Everyone now knows the DOJ/FBI is corrupt to the bone and nothing they say can be trusted. Trumppo is being railroaded.
Have they finally gotten to Clarence?
They won’t find what they are looking for. They are just trying to use this as a source of leaks in a futile attempt to damage Trump.
Can’t believe Thomas did this.
The democrats’ House of Representatives J6 Witch Hunt Committee just voted unanimously to subpoena President Trump. Yeah whatever, he can tell them to “Go fly a kite” just like Attorney General Eric Holder did.
“This is a purely political move at a time when Democrats, RINOs, and their globalist elite handlers are as desperate as they’ve been in a long time. America First candidates are surging across the country and President Trump is still their ideological leader. If they can tarnish him enough before election day, they will give corporate media the fodder necessary to explain “miraculous” victories. These victories will come through massive, widespread voter fraud, of course, but putting the focus on Trump will suspend disbelief.
Is this the October surprise the Democrats hope to use to salvage their election prospects? Seems like it. Now, patriots must fight extra-hard to discredit fake news and the evil members of the January 6 Anti-Trump Committee.” – JD Rucker
