The President has Constitutional and Legal Executive (plenary) powers to declassify at will but you can see the bureaucrats that have infiltrated the Federal government have written rules and regulations for a “process” to declassify.
The President’s power comes from the constitution and DOJ ‘s (which is still executive branch) comes from some rules and regulations that assume authority and have not legal recourse.
The DOJ rules and regs while legal have about as much enforcement authority as a mask mandate, and they are causing about as much trouble too.

The definitions and answers given are related to taking the ACT of “declassification”. Nobody ever said he has to follow any process to decide to ACT.
What is in specific in the law is that there IS A PROCESS defining that ACT MUST be documented. You cannot cite the law as authority to ACT and then say the President is above the same law that defines how he must complete (document) execution of his authority.
The law defines the President as the ORIGINATING Authority, the word plenary is NOT used.
An FAQ is NOT the Federal Code. The FAQ ONLY addresses if the President can ACT and methods he can use to ACT. The FAQ does not address the rest of the requirements in the law to document the ACT.
The word plenary IS NOT in the law.
If President Trump and and his crew believe he his word “was enough” with NO recording and documenting as prescribed then he is headed for major disappointment, if for NO other reason than THERE IS NO EVIDENCE he declassified anything. That alone is a bonehead move aside from a violation of the requirements to document in the same Law authorizing him to ACT.

article 2 of constitution grants Executive powers to President to “Execute” laws that legislature creates and the “plenary” comes from his executive powers as applied to Commander in Chief of the military. Not sure how those powers melded but Maybe it was SCOTUS case Navy versus Egan 1988.
But there are no laws about declassification of confidential material other than the espionage act from 1917. None for President and none for Administrative State/Deep State.
However in 1946 (2 years prior to OSS becoming CIA) the Administrative Procedures Act (APA) was passed. This is legislation and no I dont think it mentions Plenary.
The Administrative Procedure Act (APA) is a federal act that governs the procedures of administrative law. The APA is codified in 5 U.S.C. §§ 551–559. The core pieces of the act establish how federal administrative agencies make rules and how they adjudicate administrative litigation.
This legislation was passed 2 years before CIA evolved from OSS and approximately 2 years after Bretton Woods which made US dollar world reserve currency.

I look at the story of Sodom and Gomorrah as to just how patient God is. It also explains the need for the Rapture in the end times as God will not punish the innocent in order to get at the guilty.

I have always associated children anxious, asking over and over again “When am I going to get my new school uniforms/books” etc? with God knows what we need and already the supply is done; in “DUE” time, all will fall into place. God has no need for our approval or help but it’s when we ask with faith, it is exercising the muscles of the grace of faith, humility and contrition; a unity of heart, mind and soul, expression of gratitude with purity/sincerity of heart, of right thinking and exercise of faith, all of word, deeds and right thinking; so to speak. Same for kids on promise of a trip ask “When are we leaving for (this place or that)” or ask repeatedly “When are we going to get there”? while enroute to the promised visit, play or vacation place. Parents already know those needs, which will be supplied and effected in due time. Children cannot be forced to understand or do what they can’t; at levels they have not arrived at like putting any normal third grade kid in fifth of sixth grade for example.
Trust in God alone, ask for strength/growth in faith, pray for true contrition for sin, conversion of sinners (only God knows every man’s heart) We are incapable of knowing what every person struggles with – and none of us should even pretend otherwise.

That backlash took hold to the point that “religion” was being driven off campus, at the time.
The USMA (West Point) and USNA (Annapolis) were allot slower catch on as these academies are much older with much more deep rooted religious traditions. The Regular Officer Cadre at those academies also took up the charge to push that tradition out the gates as well. Say what you want about religion, but that tradition was a major source of the moral compass the academies were supposed to instill in the officers produced.
It will not be long before USMA, USNA and Coast Guard Academies catch up to the USAF Academt that is leading the way to woke nirvana.
Up until I left the service in the 1980’s, even the military chaplains (of all denominations), whom I knew, were not your normal parish padres. They played a key role.

When accounting purely for an inflated money supply but subtracting things like stock buybacks that artificially inflate stock values…. the dows true value is somewhere around 18k. I could go into more detail, but wanted to keep it short. There will be much pain for anyone leaving their 401k or other investments in risky bets. I, myself, have moved to all cash. I’d rather lose 10% of my purchasing power over the next 6 months then 50% of a portfolio value.
Market prices are “breathing out” now. May be a good time to invest in well-run companies that are bargains. Simply be prepared that prices will continue to go down for a while. (So, take your time and choose well.)
Every stock tends to have a “baseline price” that it tends to return to when traders aren’t spooked by something else. You can generally expect it to return “in time” to around that same price, because this reflects what the company is really worth based on its daily business operations.
“In time” being the key phrase. Don’t look at price tickers every day – you’ll go crazy. (And, lose money.) If you can “buy while the blood is running in the streets,” you can make predictable profits. “In time.”
Never fight the FED. The market is going to fall much more and the recovery when it comes probably will be anemic. Markets have to adjust to this new inflationary period with completely new valuation models.

All the HVAC suppliers have been offering internet compatible thermostats or controllers for a very long time, as in for nearly the past 20 years.
I have direct experience with Trane and Carrier systems, which come with smart control systems. The original concept was that those companies would offer home maintenance services for a modest monthly or quarterly fee. The system is able to report maintenance status as well as usage data to the companies. Their original concept never took hold because their distributors, like the local Tempo here in North TX were far more efficient and cost effective. There are no fees to connect your system to the Supplier via the internet.
In fact, the controllers are even compatible.
This is a scam offered by Google and other Internet Companies, who are just expanding control as is noted to link homes up for the more nefarious Green Purposes of the Government.
So what happens when the internet goes down? …… And it does at times.
The controllers I have seen only send data. The HVAC cannot controlled via the internet, in the case of the systems I have seen from Trane and Carrier. However, the HVAC companies do offer systems that can be remotely controlled at NO cost as well, via the internet. The Internet is NOT required for the HVAC to operate.
The systems being bandied about by the likes of Google and Amazon, actually are able to and marketed to control the system, remotely. Yet, even in these cases NO INTERNET is required for the HVAC to operate.
It is a matter of who controls the data and “how connected” one wants to be. Google and Amazon are Government Data Management Contractors.

This post is just in relation to the economics of FJB
2 months ago I started looking at new trucks. I have a contracting business, but was sitting on the sidelines due to “market based” price increases. I need a 3/4 ton diesel. 2 months ago there were still $10k mark ups on those trucks that I was refusing to pay even though we could pay cash (so we weren’t in danger of an upside down loan). Yesterday I bought a new Ram mega cab laramie for $9k under MSRP. In 2 months it saved me $19k. While I’m not telling anyone to just go buy stuff as everyone should live within their means I can tell you firsthand there is a disturbance in the force of the nation for many who are either over leveraged or monetarily insecure. If you do have the means there will be many a great buying opportunities over the next few months, but only because FJB is driving the economy into the ground.
The used car market is dropping even faster. Lots of repos already and more coming of course with an inept fake President/communist at the helm purposefully ruining the economy.
Yep. I just sold my truck the day before buying the new one. I was astonished I got $10k less then I paid 4 years ago but with 100k more miles. Now to be fair to buyer – I religiously keep all paperwork and take good care of my vehicles. They did buy a good truck, but 5 years ago in an equivalent situation I probably would have gotten $20k less then new for a diesel truck instead of $10k.
The economy is imploding, and debt is exploding. The FED can no longer control interest rates, too much debt to sell around the world. The decades long warning about the national debt is here, accelerated by $ 9 trillion in FED printing and government spending over 2 years. The economic catastrophe will cause social unrest that’ll make current times look pacific.
And this is why we bought very rural acreage about 8 years ago! We saw the writing on the wall in Obamas years, and exited the population centers. To be fair though I have always looked for land before that but never bit. Decided it was a good time in ’14. It has allowed us to get our orchard, garden, and fruit bush’s/vines all established so we can eat and bless others in need as well!

I was a landscape and irrigation contractor in Orange County then. Good times are here again!
I’m a mid grade (cost wise) contractor. Given I provide the quality work folks desire but for about 20% less then the “premium contractors” I have contracts that’ll take me at least 6 months to work through. We are adding about 1 additional job a week while our average job from start to finish is 2 weeks. Meaning I’m adding more on the back end then I’m completing on the front end. My bet is that by spring you’ll find the contractor you desire (usually the guy that bought the $600k house, $100k truck, $150k boat, etc – and is now just trying to keep from losing it all). My family is very modest. 1700sf ranch style house built 50 years ago that is otherwise very plain Jane. Wife loves her Honda- 6 years old, paid for, and has 150k miles. No boats or other toys except a 15 year old motorcycle and 24 year old Honda 4 wheeler since we also have a farm.
After being snubbed for the last year and a half by contractors that they were all “too busy” to do an old house reno am now beginning to get calls back wanting some work. Gonna wait it out a bit myself .
As a self employed sub – contractor who is now paying 3 X the price for gasoline and easily almost double for floor covering installation supplies and tools, it’s nice to see greedy people so openly honest about squeezing people like me into working for even less even though I am paying 20% more for everything else in my life. I’d bet you’ll make the sub contractors wear masks … just because you can!

FBI hero paying the price for exposing unjust ‘persecution’ of conservative Americans

“Bombshell allegations by FBI Special Agent Steve Friend contained in a whistleblower complaint filed late Wednesday with the Department of Justice inspector general reveal a politicized Washington, DC, FBI field office cooking the books to exaggerate the threat of domestic terrorism, and using an “overzealous” January 6 investigation to harass conservative Americans and violate their constitutional rights.
Friend, 37, a respected 12-year veteran of the FBI and a SWAT team member, was suspended Monday, stripped of his gun and badge, and escorted out of the FBI field office in Daytona Beach, Fla., after complaining to his supervisors about the violations.
He was declared absent without leave last month for refusing to participate in SWAT raids that he believed violated FBI policy and were a use of excessive force against Jan. 6 subjects accused of misdemeanor offenses.
This American hero, the father of two small children, has blown up his “dream career” because he could not live with his conscience if he continued to be part of what he sees as the unjust persecution of conservative Americans.
“I have an oath to uphold the Constitution,” he told supervisors when he asserted his conscientious objection to joining an Aug. 24 raid on a J6 subject in the Jacksonville, Fla., area. “I have a moral objection and want to be considered a conscientious objector.”
Friend, who did not vote for Donald Trump in the 2020 election, said he told his immediate boss twice that he believed the raid, and the investigative process leading up to it, violated FBI policy and the subject’s right under the Sixth Amendment to a fair trial and Eighth Amendment right against cruel and unusual punishment.
In his whistleblower complaint to DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz, obtained by The Post, Friend lays out multiple violations of FBI policy involving J6 investigations in which he was involved.
He says he was removed from active investigations into child sexual exploitation and human trafficking to work on J6 cases sent from DC. He was told “domestic terrorism was a higher priority” than child pornography. As a result, he believes his child exploitation investigations were harmed.
He also has reported his concerns about a politicized FBI to Republican members of Congress, among 20 whistleblowers from the bureau who have come forward with similar complaints.”…Read it all.
