From the latest court filing by Special Counsel John Durham, we learn that Robert Mueller’s FBI investigators interviewed Christopher Steele’s primary Source, Igor Danchenko, on June 15, 2017.
In addition to being on the payroll of the FBI since March as a confidential informant, exactly two weeks later, June 29, 2017, the Robert Mueller special counsel renewed the Carter Page FISA application to continue their exploitation of the comprehensive title-1 surveillance warrant against the Trump administration.
Additionally, within the court filing against Igor Danchenko, we find that FBI personnel from Robert Mueller’s team interviewed Christopher Steele:

AFTER originally interviewing Danchenko in January and February 2017, in March the DOJ/FBI then reinterviewed him before refiling the second FISA renewal in April. With Danchenko on their payroll they FBI did not need to worry about him undermining the Trump-Russia narrative or speaking the truth about the dossier. This approach protected the fraudulently obtained title-1 surveillance warrant. The surveillance warrant was renewed in April.
AFTER Robert Mueller is appointed special counsel in May 2017, with Danchenko on the FBI payroll and under control. When Danchenko is interviewed on June 15, 2017, he is being interviewed as part of the Mueller operation. Special Counsel Robert Mueller and Andrew Weissmann now submit the FISA application for another renewal on June 29, 2017. The fraudulently obtained title-1 surveillance warrant was again renewed.
The reason to keep Danchenko on the FBI payroll is to mitigate any risk he might present if he were to speak. A corrupt FBI network in Washington DC put a control mechanism over Danchenko in order to preserve their surveillance warrant, which was built upon fraud by using the Steele Dossier. They renewed the surveillance warrant twice more (April and June) while Danchenko was a paid confidential informant.
As you can see from the Durham filing, a controlled Danchenko was then handed-off to the Mueller probe, who kept Danchenko on the FBI payroll throughout the Robert Mueller investigation (ended in April 2019) until October 2020 when Danchenko was dropped by the FBI and John Durham “officially” took over and was appointed special counsel.
On July 24, 2019, when Robert Mueller is answering the questions about Chris Steele, the dossier and the Steele sources therein, Mueller was able to deflect and dodge answering the questions about it because AG Bill Barr put John Durham into place in May 2019.

What did Danchenko lie about? That the Steele dossier was made up, in which case he was telling the truth?
It’s a squeeze play and it looks like the FBI is cleaning up loose ends that will unravel their coverup. Expect a gag order on any Danchenko trial or plea deal going forward.
He worked for Christopher Steele’s Orbis Business Intelligence on the research and production of the dossier. So, it’s a matter of telling the truth AFTER the dossier had been produced and done its damage.

I made essentially the same comment yesterday on the original article posted by Sundance.
How can Darchenko be accused of lying if he told the FBI in 2017 that his information was do-do?? The FBI even said the dosier was “suspect” in one of their FISA filings, plus the FBI and the Mueller Gang WILLINGLY used the Dosier a their primary predicate in their FISA filings even after Darchenko’s warnings in 2017.
The only thing that will salvage a case for Durham vs a competent defense is that the trial will be in Corrupt DC Court or a sweet plea deal for Darchenko to be the patsy. The plea deal will likely be an an “offer that cannot be refused”.
And since danchenko was working for the fbi, they are saying we lied to ourselves to get the warrant.

Then again, nobody knows the content of the FISC Security Class Guide and there was the ever present threat of “obstruction” charges due to all the “active” DoJ Investigations as well as Mueller. So, there was plenty of cover and threats to protect against anybody acting out .

I absolutely agree that the steal is on. The question is whether Republican voters turn out massively on Election Day. We saw in the primaries that Election Day overwhelmed the mail in voting. The fraud is much tougher to execute when
A) you don’t know how many fake votes to generate weeks in advance
B) when you do find out, it’s already Election Day and you have only a short amount of time to try and rig it
C) Republicans don’t vote by mail, the Dems don’t know whose votes they can steal and their turnout models (which tell them how many fake votes they need) are total guesswork
D) they have 435 individual races not just one POTUS or a statewide Senate race
Add to this that Republican observers will be much more tuned in to obvious tricks.
And, Democrats in House races outside of major urban areas can’t rely on City Machine Politics to manufacture votes for them.
Should we ever see a return to GOP control of Congress and POTUS (unlikely) a major change to elections will need to be elimination of mail in voting in exchange for a paid national Election Day holiday.
