Don’t worry fellow Treepers, I will waken my ‘torches and pitchfork’ attitude, in the very near future. My family peeps down under, have little use for the monarchy. And less for their lock down queen prime minister.
While Great Britain’s monarchy may not be a form of government we here in the US support, as for me, I love the history, the respect for ancestors, the continuity of tradition and the pageantry and celebration for love of country. Many of the values the Left here in the US are attempting to destroy.
I will not say ill of Queen Elizabeth II.
She did her duty magnificently, never putting a foot out of step. She lived the role admirably despite what she might have personally thought or preferred. She was a remarkable woman, disciplined, carrying on the history and tradition of her country, performing her functions as her ancestors would have expected of her.
Her life should be celebrated. She was a symbol, true royalty and she embodied all the traits that command respect. The British people should be proud of her. Her life was never her own. For her to carry that burden and remain generous and gracious and never step outside the lines drawn for her, commands admiration and respect.

I had recently read a non fiction historical account, almost 900 pages full of facts (and even documentation of the wardrobe costs of some of the Tudor clan)…about Henry the VIII’s older sister and the niece. Margaret and all the bruhaha in the royal tribe as she was Queen of Scotland and married to James the IV. And trying to marry her kids to ‘unite’ Britain and Scotland. Then her daughter, Margaret Douglas who fell in love with Anne Boleyn’s uncle…she enjoyed some time in the Tower for that. As did he.

I went to a large private doctor group and had surgery at their private owned center. NO MASKS AT ALL and no hassle about Covid at all. So there are some medical professionals that deserve respect. HOWEVER I agree completely that the medical profession has sullied itself like a 3 day old diaper. I blame some of it on the banning of white male medical school applicants and the same bias against white applicants in nursing schools. Low pay accounts for the lower standard in Medical assistants. We have decades of Affirmative action and preference for foreign born admits to the programs, and it shows. Worked with a doc from Middle East that even after being here 50 plus years and almost 80 he was still Anti America.
Deport him – he’s not worthy to be here. And most of them can’t even speak English sufficiently. I’m sick of the lot of them.
Don’t wait for congress…. Obamacare/Medicaid and no tort reform…boom gone

Winston: I visited the NOAA site, yesterday, while looking for information on the hurricane in Baja California (which is making the weather in Los Angeles downright tropical), and was disgusted at all the ideological crap on the NOAA home page. You have to dig further down to find actual weather information.
Dominion voting tabulators do not meet the requirements of GA election laws for many reasons. For one, Georgia law stipulates an elector must be able to verify their vote. The Dominion ballot does print out the candidates selected on the paper ballot, but the tabulator does not read the names, it reads a QR code which no one can decipher.
Our county Republican Party just approved mailing out a letter to all the other 158 GA counties’ Board of Elections requesting that they not certify the November election until all the ballots are counted by hand. The letter, and the issues addressed, is eye opening and are based on many legal challenges and court decisions.

Note that in the referenced article the fbi flagged one comment seven (7) minutes after it was posted. The comment should have never been made, and the fbi could not have anticipated such a comment (unless there were potential deliberate agitators posting?) but they were CLEARLY monitoring the website.
