During a podcast interview between Charlie Kirk (Turning Point USA / Club4Growth) and Warroom host Steve Bannon, Mr. Bannon stated the FBI raided 35 homes, offices and residences yesterday in seemingly coordinated activity timed with his arrest in Manhattan. {Direct Rumble Link}
Bannon was arrested under dubious fraud charges in Manhattan Thursday, connected to claims he duped donors who gave money to a We Build The Wall nonprofit organization established by Bannon and his partners. The case seems to hinge on statements made by the founders of the organization that “every penny” of the $15 to $25 million raised would be spent on the wall. However, according to New York prosecutors, several hundred thousand was used by Bannon and team to pay their own salaries and expenses.
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg gave Steve Bannon the handcuffed perp walk treatment, parading him through the courthouse like a captured political trophy. Mr. Bannon pled not guilty and was released after his arraignment for money laundering, conspiracy, fraud and other charges related to the “We Build the Wall” campaign.
The statement of 35 simultaneous FBI raids is the first mention of something coordinated like this. Perhaps further details will soon surface.

I agree with you in every aspect except for where we are. So much about the corruption of our country has been revealed in the past half decade. While frustrating, the people are far better off knowing how corrupt our government is. No matter what happens inn the short term, in the long term at least we know what we are actually dealing with.

Just voting is not enough. I have no grand plan but I recognize we need one.
Okay. For some, it may be necessary to set up “watch parties” – manned 24 hours a day – at ballot drop boxes. As that may apply. If possible, volunteer as a poll watcher and be willing to speak up, even with threats. Get involved with the party at a precinct level and start undermining the farm system from within. There are a myriad of things that can be done, but people have to make the sacrifice to do them. I just don’t see much of that on our side.

What is the plan to wrestle our federal government back under the Constitution once good people in sufficient numbers are elected?
I’m just getting started to read through the link you share.
Dan Schultz educates us to the fact that the Republican establishment has allowed more than 1000 precinct slots across the country lie fallow for the taking (because their goal is not winning).
But many of those slots have actual power in the selection of candidates to move up the ranks. In some counties now, Dan’s strategy has filled many of them and is working now, as the enemy has for years, to find and field honest America First people, many of them young and smart fighters for freedom.
It will not work overnight but it will work in the long run, and some of it might work very quickly this fall.
If you are truly interested in ideas for action past the election, try listening to the Warroom and other sources like Lou Dobbs’ podcast. The ideas are percolating everywhere.
I’m not attempting to be divisive, and quite interested in an actual plan past elections.
As I do not believe MAGA in numbers will be enough to wrestle control away from the 4th Branch.

The less time these numb-nuts have to count votes and estimate how many they are going to have to create, the harder it is to cheat. If all the votes come in on election day, it will be closer to a fair election. Maybe? Until we delete our voter roles after every presidential election and start using paper ballots, we have to figure out how to force their hand. I think it’s possibly related to a recent leak that the FBI didn’t find what it was looking for in the MAL robbery. Trump still has the documents, and they’re looking for them (or copies) thinking he stashed them with a friend.
It’s a damn shame Trump didn’t just post the declassified documents on the White House website in 2020.
Anyway, they may think somebody in Trump’s circle either has the docs they didn’t find at MAL or someone has copies of them.
I doubt it has anything to do with Bannon’s case which is just an attempt to reverse Trump’s pardon.

There was another leak this week about a Trump PAC grand jury. Not 2 days later McConnell is telling MAGA candidates to get money from the Trump PAC. That’s not a coincidence. It’s McConnell coordinating a take down of the PAC because the PAC destroyed eGOP candidates in the primaries.
Anyway, the FBI leak suggests they’re looking for something they didn’t find at MAL.

McConnell’s moves on any Senate candidates seems rather sudden. I suspect he thought they might be getting more donations than they are, but that money is not rolling in, so I think he is deciding based on what is good for McConnell.
Best I can see McConnell do to a MAGA candidate who wins is to tell the candidate that the Turtle will match any MAGA money, but that means no more MAGA Senator. It means they are now owned by the Turtle.

So it sounds like the FBI appeared at these homes — to serve subpoenas. That’s heavy-handed. But it’s not a raid.
A subpoena can be fought in the courts before having to surrender anything.
I think Bannon may still be operating on yesterday’s adrenaline. He was put through a lot yesterday by these scumbags.

Subpoenas involve lawyers and sleepless nights. They’re punishing people by the process to discourage would-be supporters. Not a raid, but not a picnic either.
Some of the people served were lawyers. They know the dance, and are not losing any sleep over it. Untold thousands of subpoenas are served across this country every day. All you need is an active case to serve them out like popcorn. The courts issue them freely at the clerk counters, and the litigants pay the courts a small fee for each and every one.
Guess what happens when you disregard a subpoena. You might get hauled into court to explain why.
And you can fight everything requested before a judge.
But I agree generally with you. This is desperate, heavy-handed, harassment. No picnic. And it costs money to resist them. Lawfare.
