The training was featured in the 2021 IRS annual report, which shows agents at the agency’s National Criminal Investigation Training Academy (NCITA), which is located within the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Brunswick, Georgia.
The report documents how the agents are given “firearms training” and another image shows agents wearing tactical clothing that says ‘POLICE’ and ‘IRS-CI’.
Training also includes “physical fitness conditioning and use of force training, which includes firearms, weaponless tactics, and building entry,” according to the report.
“In addition to SAIT, NCITA assists in providing advanced training to special agents in use of force, firearms instruction, defensive tactics, and building entry.”

In case you missed it, Jean-Pierre claimed that it was the mismanagement of the Trump administration that kept schools closed against the best efforts of Democrats. Luckily, as she tells it, President Biden assumed office and got those schools open within 6 months.
This is flagrantly lying when everyone in the room knows you are lying. It’s Baghdad-Bob-type antics. It’s shameless. She wouldn’t even have to “accept responsibility” for school closures. She could argue that while the data is certainly pointing to a devastating lack of progress for young people due to COVID school closures, that reality is still preferable to the kind of death and suffering that was the alternative.
There’s simply no denying which political movement was making every effort to re-open or keep open schools and which political movement was lobbying for continued closures and so-called “remote” learning. The devastating drops in scores that are just now beginning to surface are a result of the latter’s efforts alone.
But to stand behind that podium and stammer over your words, trying to choke out of your mouth the bold-faced lie that Democrats were the ones working diligently to get schools open is such a betrayal of the public trust I’m not sure why any self-respecting member of the press would grace another one of Karine Jean-Pierre’s awkward, unprepared briefings.

If I recall, the FBI did not have to ‘prove intent’. The applicable federal statute Hillary violated was in her NOT protecting classified information.
One can’t go 4 years without a dotgov email address and claim to have protected classified information. One can’t share classified documents with staff who don’t have clearance and/or need to know and claim to have protected classified information. One can’t have housekeeping staff in Chappaqua fetch and deliver documents and claim to have protected classified information.

A Utah Senate committee hearing on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 over a bill that would prohibit businesses or government entities from asking for proof of vaccination got started with some drama that led to three people getting kicked out — one of whom was taken away in handcuffs
Sen. Dan McCay (R-Riverton), the committee chair, warned the crowd who had gathered in support of the bill against outbursts or any type of displays. He said some members of the audience were violating those rules, so McCay recessed the committee for a few minutes.
UHP Capt. Greg Holley told KUTV 2News Senate security asked troopers to remove a man who had a sticker that violated the committee’s rules and who was not complying with their requests.
The sticker read “Vote yes on HB60.”
The man who was handcuffed was arrested and detained, Holley said. He was later cited and released. Holley told KUTV 2News the man’s removal at the request of Senate security was due only to his non-compliance over the sticker, not the shirt he was wearing.

After the Utah Senate defanged that bill, making sure private businesses can still discriminate, it went back to the Utah House and was filed in the ‘House file for bills not passed’.
That was March 4. And nothing has been done since.
Does that mean it is dead and will never be passed? No protections from Government discrimination either?

Hey Ron, where are we going to get electricity for these new Floridians? Water? Normal long time residents are already priced out of living in the population centers and the suburbs are getting close. Now rents in the rural areas are skyrocketing from where they were. We do not have the infrastructure for this Land Rush. Traffic sucks. The only decent roads in the State are your pet project Toll Expansions that are abandoned in these trying economic times. Why are you pushing development in sinkhole prone areas?

Hochatown, OK – 10 years ago it was not uncommon to be able to get acreage for $1000/acre or less. Now I’d say good luck finding it for less then $10k/acre
South of Norman OK it wasn’t uncommon to get acreage (with water and electricity) for around $5k/acre. Now it’s $10‐15k.
“Clean” water is another issue. I share a rural water well with hundreds of households run by the county and state. We regularly have mud flowing thru the pipes. Our water bills doubled in the last year, but the quality of water hasn’t gotten any better.
Yall are having a Green Rush, like Colorado did. Total Bummer, OCB. Our aquifers are plumb full because of record rainfall. That means caverns are forming under our beds as we sleep. When a drought hits, which will happen, all new and existing Floridians will not stop pumping water out of the new and expanded caverns which will collapse no matter who is sound asleep above. This Governor seems to be real concerned about gathering as many freedom loving “people of means” in our State as possible, so he can lose by a nose to Charlie”Oxycodone Tsunami” Crist(gracefully, mind you) then fund raise like there was no Tomorrow from a captive audience trapped under authoritarian rule.
