It is beyond infuriating to see the photo on the front of the “Wall Street Journal” where water is being brought TO the city of Jackson, Mississippi – like a third world country somewhere beyond America.
WHY and HOW can our Congress send all those billions to Ukraine, for example – when the infrastructure is so in need of repair all over our country and what is going on in Jackson is a prime example of the corruption of Congress. Mississippi needs to keep more of THEIR money in the first place and not have it GO to the federal government to POSSIBLY dole back out in the form of FEMA trailers, trucked water and so forth.
Jackson, Mississippi is Exhibit 1 for the day on why states need to take back control from the federal government which squanders the hard-earned money of citizens.
I’d like an accounting of how much has been spent on infrastructure projects with US money in foreign lands compared to the US. When infrastructure projects are actually performed at least not all of the money goes to corrupt and fraudulent entities.
Isn’t it the responsibility of local taxpayers to ensure that their water and sewer plants are operational?
Let Jackson’s inhabitants demand that their city officials do their jobs and spend tax money on keeping infrastructure sound instead of giving UBI and defund the po-po to the slobbering deadbeats.

Portland, Oregon had a terrible sewage system issues for years and kept putting it off. Too much rain and it would overflow into the Willamette river. After the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality fined the crap out of them, they finally got off their butts, taxed the citizens (again) and got it fixed.
Jackson, Miss should have been on top of their own sewage treatment center.
The town is 85% minority. Check out the name of the mayor and you will see the exact nature of the problem.

To those who missed my post yesterday on my neighbors having Covid. So the father was quadrupled vaxxed with Pfizer and got Covid and the son was triple vaxxed (he didn’t tell which one) and got Covid. The father was discussing getting another “shot” for the new variant plus a Flu shot! So these brainwashed morons are now on the Vax rollercoaster until it kills them. And there was not a shred of questioning why if they were vaxxed they got Covid. Full on Project Monarch Slaves.
I think flu shots are still allowed to have mercury in the adjuvant. Every year just piling on that toxin. Infants are forced get it as well by pediatrician offices that demand you adhere or they kick you out. We have been poisoning our infants and children since late 1980’s with aluminum, mercury and pig and monkey viruses.
The only shot I have had in a very long time is a tetanus shot. I read a book a long time ago called “Murder By Injection” and it wised me up to allot of Animal Pharm. I than lost my health Insurance because of a job loss and that forced me to take responsibility for my own health. I could do more but avoid the Dr’s as much as possible, though my family Dr is one of us so i am in good hands there.

The idea of “health maintenence and prevention” came about.
Businesses and Companies started paying for twice yearly checkups for employee’s to “help keep them healthy” so they would be more productive.
People started going to doctors when the were not sick, something unheard of before the late 1960s when big companies started buying ” health insurance” for their workers.
When I was a kid no one went to the doctor unless we were sick.
Even babies did not have ” well baby checkups” their mothers were expected to know how to care for them without “professional” advice and help.
Mothers were not considered to be idiots but people who were fine on their own and who loved their children enough to care for them more than a stranger who looked at them only twice a year or so.
Suddenly “professionals” became smarter and knew more about a child than their own mother and mothers became astonishingly stupid and incapable of caring for their own little ones.
They had to drag the healthy baby to the “professional” twice a year or more for advice on care.

If folks had to pay at point of service, things would be different.
The original purpose of health insurance was to cover serious illness. As a matter of fact, most called it “hospitalization”. There was no coverage at all for doc visits and docs operated in a competetive market, charging accordingly. “Riders” could be purchased for xrays and other diagnostics. It was a good system, worked well for the docs and majority of consumers.
Allot of hospitals where I used to live closed up/went bankrupt after NAFTA opened the borders and attracted a huge increase in illegal immigration. The criminal Clinton Admin promised that hospitals had to treat them without payment and they did bankrupting them and skyrocketing our the payers costs and thus starting to ruin our medical system and Obozo finished it off. I haven’t read the book, but I’ve thought for a long time that it’s not Democrats or Republicans, it’s both. The Democrats push their ideologies and the Republicans go along with them to a large extent because they are ok with what the Democrats want to do. It’s the new culture we live in.
I think when we, as a society, shifted from our rights come from God to our rights come from man/government our mindset shifted to winning power and control. And, by any means necessary. The obsession with climate change and humans will destroy our planet because they drive gasoline powered cars is crazy. Humans cannot destroy the planet. We can explode thousands of nuclear bombs and destroy life on the planet, but the planet will be here for another billion years. We should be managing our environment, as best we can, for the benefit of humans to make life better for everyone, limiting energy and starving and freezing people will not extend the life of our planet.

There is no “get off their hands” to fix the problem. The RNC (and even the DNC for that matter depending upon the deal made with the RNC) can float additional vote sucking candidates at will under the guise of “grassroots” candidates at State Level and below.
The more I see and read of the ranked voting systems do not be surprised if it shows up as a State Level “constitutional” referendum across the US over the next few election cycles … it is the tool needed to insure single party rule with a token “loyal” opposition. Democrats, the DoJ and major legal NGO’s will sue to make it so for equity reasons, while the RNC Club sits back to let it happen.
Voters have no choice what shows up on ballots regarding constitutional referendums, that is decided by the State Capital occupants.
So what can we the people do to fix this mess? Certainly the good people of Alaska can figure out some way to make sure murkowski is not the governor.
Good question and a tough one to answer, so long as the actions like this can be wrapped in very same laws and rights protecting us, until challenged.
The one that comes to mind immediately is that “local elections”, which are normally held off cycle from national elections, are rarely supported by more than 20% of voters. That is why the folks running the show use off-cycle elections for referendums and to get their people put in place at “local” and State Levels. Get with your friends, spread the word and VOTE as a block…have seen this done more than few times to swing local elections.
Get out and vote LOCALLY for ALL elections, especially for State Legislators.
This one will be tough to stop from appearing on the ballots as long as the actions can be legitimized via “following the rules”.
If one has the funds…file a suit contending the constitutionality of ranked systems.
I would also add that a good Secretary of State is very important. You have to vet them thoroughly.

If you reside in a Red legislature state: If approached to sign a petition (‘initiative petition) my first suggestion is don’t. The petitioner usually lies (!) as to reason for the petition. Ok, thats my opinion.

It was announced that the ONE turbine that the Russians have left (the other 5 were taken by Siemens and sent to Canada to repair) had to be shut down for a couple of days for maintenance. If Siemens would return the turbines, then Nordstream 1 could operate normally. The Russians have not stopped the pipeline except for a few days, despite the sanctions, despite the inimical actions of the Germans and the rest of the EU toward them. I saw some recent polling data that the gap between Dr. Oz and that ogre-looking Fetterman has closed substantially. I don’t know why President Trump endorsed Oz, but I do think he had his reasons and it wasn’t just that Oz is a celebrity. I read McConnell is not on board with Oz, and it would be nice to have more GOP senators who aren’t McConnell lackeys. And Fetterman has no business being a U.S. Senator. Herschel Walker’s numbers continue to look better too.
Oz’s only advantage seems to be that he would appeal to the suburban housewife type and I recall there being speculation that is why DJT supported him. On Institutional corruption, and calls to “burn down the FBI, DOJ etc. and “salt the earth”, I don’t have answers, but something to consider.
When PDJT first said “Hydrocloriquine” at a “Covid briefing”, I was waiting for my order of HCQ and AZT to clear customs.
Several weeks earlier my libtard sister had called me to relate the following;
She and her hubby had had two couples over for a get together, all four friends being Dr.’s.
None were virologists, they were practicing physicians, one a G.P., a Cardiologist a Endochriniologist and a rheumotologist.
Of coarse COVID was discussed, and the guests shared that they and all the Dr.s they knew were writing Rx.’s for each other for HCQ, and that could both be taken as a prophlyactic (to prevent getting) as well as a treatment should you get it.
THINK about that. ALL DR.’s KNEW, back then that HCQ ‘worked’, and that the EUA shouldn’t have been issued.
I went on Pubmed, and read the many research papers, prior to ordering.
The info was RIGHT THERE, if you knew to search HCQ and Covid.
That means ALL the Dr.s that were pushing the jab on patients, refusing to do transplants unless donor and recipient were jabbed, etc. …they all KNEW.
Only a SMALL percentage ‘stepped up’ and risked their careers to Speak out, as “Whistleblowers” and as we saw, those that did were threatened, ostracised etc.

I do think the current effort to replace School boards is admirable, but misplaced. Because the problem is institutional, and the new school board will encounter the same Federal funding requirements to have “transgender policies”, etc. I think Statewide and eventually Nationwide “School Choice” (vouchers) is actually “fixing” the problem.
More broadly, we either tear down and salt the earth on ALL of these corrupted systems (Law enforcement/Criminal Justice, Financial System/Wall Street, Medical System, Education System etc. OR, we find some way to keepthe broken system working, even AS we ‘reform’ it.
On a more individual basis, you might look at your life from the “prepper” or “survivalist” point of view, and begin (if you haven’t already) looking at how dependant you and yours, and your immediate vicinty of friends and family are absolutely DEPENDANT on ‘supply chains’ for things essential for life, from medical care, to childs education, to food, potable water, sewage and garbage, ALL of the “basics”, ask yourself “what would we do if this system broke?” and begin developing strategies.
“Burn down and salt the earth” on the FBI? Fine, I’m all for it, I can live without a Federal Police force.
I can live without a corrupt Medical care system, me and mine HAVE, for many years. But a great many can NOT.
